I know that the winter offerings are really fall crops that require C rank. When is the last day in fall these must be planted in order to complete it in the first year?

The longest is Watermelon at 11 days

There's always a chance at a few less depending on the perks and trying to use the speed fertilizer, plant a bunch to optimize chances if you're short a couple days. Other two were 9 (if I recall, just hit winter and didn't buy extra seeds)

so technically the 17th is safest

They are fall crops and will wither when winter hits.

The Dev diary showed they are considering a rework of the offerings, but no telling when anything will be updated

Maybe these crops can pop up in the "off brand stores" like the boat near the light house, bens thing up north, or the monkey near the mines?

farm all the coffers you can, check for bugs day and night, garbage cans for random fish and the weekly lighthouse night boat

That's practically what I've been doing. I've finished the diving, finished the mine, donated about 90 something items, and done all but fall and winter offerings

doing the offering can help too as I understand, knock out the fall one may tip you over (it was donations I was behind on, I was laziest about fishing x.x)

as much of a mess my field is from the random boost perk to crops grow speed, it was a blessing in disguse

Fishing has been getting on my ever lasting nerve. I have to saves and one I get all the fish and bugs I need despite skipping so many days. But of course the save I stream on new fish and bugs are non-existent. Just flies, wasps, mackerel, and shrimp -_-

I was missing a lot of night bugs before I realized it late summer, and my spring was shortened because I didn't know about the game speed option till summer 1. the fishing sucks, I pray there is a perk to omit trash and flyer pulls, and for them to impliment the bait for quicker fishing
