I jam and pickle basically everything and it helps a lot. Takes next to no time to process and nearly doubles the sales price of things.

Plus, the jars aren't super hard to make if you have a good glass and scrap building system

I’m generating over 1k a day and the way to do it is:

  • Get as many expensive multiple harvest crops as possible and plant them as early as possible so you reap more rewards
  • also! Use fertiliser (preferably upgraded) on all the crops that give multiple harvests.
  • mason jar! Some things make more money as a jam/preserve than fresh produce
  • get the cows and the chickens. I left it quite late and am kicking myself bc they contribute quite a lot when they start getting more hearts
  • upgrade your seeds/fertiliser/hay with Ling! Do this asap! You’ll get higher quality which also means more money
  • always forage as much as possible around the island. Some stuff can cost a LOT (the purple stinky flower in Fall is like,,, 500!)
  • HONEY!!! OH MY GOD !! HONEY SELLS FOR SO MUCH!! Takes ages to produce but absolutely worth it
  • upgrade your tools too. Just makes life easier

Also as it gets to the end of the season, don’t waste your money on expensive crops that won’t give you produce in time. Remember everything withers on the first day of the next season 💀 rather buy flowers that grow quickly and that you can make into honey or veggies you can put in the mason jar

@dapper meadow i have a baby cow but it hasnt become a adult cow in 75 days is that a bug?

Sounds like it 🤔 mine was grown after only a few days (like max 10?). But one time I had a baby chicken, it grew up after a few days, then the game crashed later on that day and when I repeated the day, the chicken was small again and stayed like that for a few more days...

I make most of my money from farming so far and I'm doing fine (just got to winter, got some silver star eggplants for processing left that I'll put in jars over the season)
