Seems to be breaking ores and rocks at the same rate as bronze (2 hits) :/

Hmm it should clear normal rocks, like on your farm, in one hit. If you're in the water mines, there's harder rocks that still take two hits. And ore still takes two hits. But if it can't even break normal rocks in your farm or in the earth mine in one hit, yours might be bugged or something

Ah, I mean in the water mine- lotta rocks were taking two hits with the bronze pickaxe so I upgraded, but there was no difference 😔

Ohhh yeah some rocks still take two hits and the ore Def does but there should be some that only take one. Once you unlock a lot of levels, I like to take the elevator almost every day to just the ones with rocks no monsters, and get the ore there. It's fast and Regens every day. You can get more by going level by level but I have a good amount for the crafting I need by just doing that daily

i've been told the gold pick does 1 hit the harder water mine rocks, but the silver def doesn't

Ehhh I wouldn't say it was a waste. It's still an upgrade just not an incredibly signicant one 🤣

the only thing the silver pick does is use slightly less hits to destroy the huge rocks on your farm, that's literally it
