I just launch my game and i have lost all save since this morning... any solution ?
I'm on game pass PC 😢

unfortunately the save data is lost because the gamepass version was initally the alpha instead of the early access and save data doesn't transfer

I am looking for the path to the gamepass savegame also but I can't find anything

I have a save game that I want to include (same version) but it won't accept it.

microsoft had the alpha version on there. when it updated to the early access version, the save was wiped.

there's nothing you can do about it, but it shouldn't happen again.

there will be mini-resets later on down the line, where you'll start back at day 1 and the story will have to be redone, but your character, inventory, farm, etc, will remain intact

i saw somewhere in the faq or something that the gamepass version doesn't allow messing with the individual save files in the file thing, so idk how to help with that

no, that's the early access version

right, its the early access version now. before , u had the alpha version. thats why ur save is gone

wish i had known this was a thing before i started playing the game on xbox game pass...

oh well i guess that should make things more streamlined til i get back to where i was XD

yeah it was an unfortunate mistake - microsoft put up the wrong version, and you couldn't really tell unless you looked at the version number in-game.

sounds like a bug then 😦 report it in #🐛coral-bugs-reports , make sure to specify that it was this morning and you were definitely on the early access version
