But, is there anything to it regarding reeling in sharks? No matter what, I seem to struggle very much reeling them in and honestly spending half a day reeling in a shark isn't worth it (not even for the 845 they provide as a basic without stars).
When I reel in the shark, at first the progression bar doesn't move an inch and I honestly thought my fishing was broken 😅

It just takes a lot of practice, when they struggle I still try to reel it in but you have to watch that the red lines don’t hit the edges. The improved fishing rod helps too I think which you can buy from the beach shack

I have the improved fishing rod and I also do try reeling in when they struggle, but still, wasting half a day on a shark, just seems a bit too much

Yeah, I agree with it being practice, searched for tips without success too. Now I get most of them, i keep clicking in between when they struggle (trying to keep the squiggle on barely red or below) and hold with some pauses in between when they dont
