I received this mail in the game.

'Meet me at the beach west of the diving spot tomorrow evening. See you at 6 pm.'

I've been walking around that beach area, but I don't see any NPCs and I'm not triggering any cutscenes. Help?

I've been there too. The letter specifically says 'the beach west of the diving spot'.

I ran around the beach area for ages, I've paused for now but.... yeah, nothing.

This can be triggered. In my experience, it must be exactly 6pm/18:00--because i tried for a few days to get this to trigger myself and even if I was just 10 seconds off it wouldn't trigger. I walked down the stairs leading to and from the inn opposed to the docks. I don't think it matters, but I did this in the Spring season.

I managed to trigger it, though only after setting the time speed to 0.5x

Yeah, I think it is just a small window with very exact circumstances. I think they should take a note from similar games and give a range of like an hour where getting there will trigger the event.

Eg: "Meet me at the beach around 6pm"

Can confirm season doesn't matter! Did it during Fall at 0.5x speed and was there 20min beforehand in case. Stood on the beach with little bit of visual on the diving spot

Yeah, I did it on the first day of summer.

i even reloaded my save the first time cause i was a little late

I got this message during Winter. It's Suki's message! You just come to beach near lookout.

I got this mail and went the next day, but it was raining so I assume that's why it didn't trigger. But it triggered for me when I went the following day!

From the diving area head along the beach towards the lighthouse area, the scenario should start if you there after 6pm

How does this start? I don’t think I’ve ever received this mail and I’m already in Year 2.

I think it requires friendship with Suki, I only just got it in Y2 Spring
