Save File Deleted after Update

I was playing on 10/14/22, and everything was fine in the morning. After quitting and playing the game in the evening, I saw on gamepass there was a new update. I launched the game after the update had completed and saw my entire save file is gone. :(( Has this happened to anyone else? help.

Talking about this in general rn, basically the version on game pass was the alpha and not early access. This recent update is to early access, and as far as I'm aware, alpha saves arent compatible, hence the wipe. Pretty crappy considering the alpha version shouldn't have been on game pass in the first place, and there has been nothing to tell players that their save wasn't compatible with this update and it would be wiped

Don't stress over it too much! The EA version from what I'm reading has lots more content for you all 🙂

Wait so the gamepass version is not the same version as the one on steam??

@lunar hedge No - The Game Pass had an Alpha Version, whereas Steam had the Early Access version. (Due to some mix-up when sending the versions to microsoft or something)

They are NOW due to this update the same
