So I was finally able to buy a barn but when I go to my farm I can't place it anywhere. I have a spot cleared but it says I can't use it anywhere. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Okay that was weird. I ran around the entirety of my farm spinning the thing around with my cursor and then as soon as I tried the spot I cleared off again it could magically be placed. Gotta love game logic.

I think your character has to be close enough to where you want to place it, similar to using a tool. I hope they change it because its very irritating.

That's what I thought originally but even right next to the spot it wasn't working. It was super weird.

I had to be facing the lot I wanted to put it on for it to work... Very obscure but it wouldn't work unless I was both near and facing the spot xD

Just keep on moving until one point it'll be good to be placed. Will take some time there.
