I got a notification that I unlocked the sashimi recipe, but it's not anywhere in the crafting menu. Is this a bug? Or is the recipe not implemented yet? Or do I need a special cooking implement or something?

I have the same question. I think there is cooking in the game now. I don't see it in recipes - do I just manually try to make sashimi?

When cooking is implemented (if it is indeed not in yet), you'll need the house upgrade that adds a kitchen, to cook.
