Anyone having problems with a super slow loading screen and lagging game after yesterdays update? Despite the roleback and new updates this is still a problem. I did not have any problems before the updates :')

When loading into the save file, the game is set as "not answering" in the task manager. I have verified the game files, reinstalled the game, and played with the graphics settings with no changes to the performance.

I have a 1070ti gpu, i7-7700K cpu, and 24 ram.

I dont have any problem still good and fasttt, i have 1660 super and using i5, all setting high

I am also having issues. its unplayable. there was no issue before updates either, not sure what to do

It's just so weird. I don't know what to do either. I really hope either someone finds a fix or the devs patch it fast 😭

I have problems with loading screen too. Sometimes it doesn't load and freezes.

I also have this issue, can't get the the game to load, been like this for a few days. I have i7 so it should not be an issue but yeah

I got my game to work finally... I had to delete EVERYTHING coral island on my computer and uninstall the game. Restarted my computer, re-install it, and restarted my computer. No slowness and lag so far.

Yeah I deleted my save file. It took me 7 hours trying everything I could think of. This worked right away after doing my last attempt.

Okay, so the title screen is still super laggy, and loading still takes forever, But it kinda worked! Thank you @dry quail 😭
There is still some lag spikes but they are not that noticeable so i take what i can get lol

My fiancé mentioned maybe looking at any of your programs that optimize your games and closing them. It helped it run better for me after doing the delete everything step.

I did the same thing and it improved the lag and definitely the graphics look better but its still laggy. i will try that too, thanks Arivelle! (also, I was able to retrieve my save file from recycle bin and restore it so my progress is back)

Omg I think your finance cracked it! I turned off Razer Cortex, and it loaded SO fast and is amazing again. Wanted to share in case that helps anyone. THANK YOU so much for helping us again.

I also have this issue. Sometimes my game takes forever to load and I ALWAYS have lag. I didn’t have this much of an issue in the Alpha and my computer’s stats are basically in between the minimum and recommended builds. 😦

Can confirm closing Razer Cortex takes care of the lag. I just did this after going crazy for two days waiting for a fix and it solved the problem instantly

Also, if anyone has Avast as their virus protection, turning off shields while playing helps tremendously. I have virtually no lag when I do this

if you have NVIDIA experience, I updated my NVIDIA drivers and the mysterious load lag and stuttery mayhem has finally solved itself. I updated to: 527.56-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql just as a reference.
