I haven't built an animal barn yet, but I was wondering if I should save my grass? In Stardew grass doesn't give you animal feed until you build a silo. I was wondering if this game is also like that, or if the grass just provides fiber and nothing else.
#Is there any reason not to chop all the big grass on the farm?

Animals can eat the grass "raw" if you let them outside to wander. Also, cutting the grass gives Fiber, which you can put in the Mill to get Hay for animal feed. Up to you! I prefer to let them graze outside unless it's raining, at which point I have them eat Hay inside.
