Glad to know I'm not the only one. I had went to bed with my game on because I cant save mid day and load back, have to start from fresh so I paused with inventory window and went to bed, I played another day before going to main menue and closing out. Then when I went back into the game everything was gone. Damn. Should we restart or wait for a patch?

Wait for a patch, but also be expected that you may have to say goodbye to that save

I restarted my game to see if it was just the save file and when I exited the game and came back to the new save, my stuff was gone again

As long as you did not save since the the v0.1-48897 hotfix, you should be fine
