Is the coral island on xbox pc gamepass supposed to be an alpha version? My game says alpha v0.9-47952 instead of early access v0.1-48501

known problem. Wasn't intended and now Microsoft is dragging their feet pushing the updated Version out. Also your save will not be compatible with the EA Version

They are aware of it but it may take a few days to sort because of Microsoft

I'm thinking about buying it from steam as well. Who knows when it will come if it were fixed. I don't have that much game time yet, I'm only in the summer

I hope they update soon, microsoft taking so long that i got too antsy and bought the EA on steam instead 😆 it was worth it since the difference between alpha and EA is big

I got to mid fall on my game pass version which sucks as I got a LOT of bugs, but heyho!

This is the reason why i quit my game pass subsrcibtion. Really ridiculous that microsoft cant manage to get the ea version. Had enough of it, so bought it in steam

i returned the game in microsoft because i wasnt aware of the version issue and bought it via steam, but ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the progress

You can also buy it there, but the update hasn't come yet because I've got a new version now and well I bought it from Steam anyway

If you have gamepass, it is only free as long as it is on there, but there's always a discounted price for it, so they may have bought it that way or they don't have game pass

yeah gamepass only has alpha so whether u buy it or get it from the pass it wont be the same as the steam ver

Not really a Microsoft issue (except I guess for how long it takes to publish a new version). Seems like Stairway gave them the wrong version to release on Gamepass.
