Do I delete the Alpha Version?

sorry this is probably a dumb question and i tried to search for an answer — okay so this is my first time doing this for a game, do I delete the Alpha version from my PC before I download early access? or will it remove on its own? does it not matter? lol please help

The team already started the process to disable Alpha on steam. I am not sure if it will just vanish from your library, but you're free to remove it to save space! ^^

It shouldn't affect your Early Access game.
