I got a letter asking me to go the beach shack which I assume is how you unlock fishing. But when I go inside the shack, nothing happens. I talked to people and I can shop, but no event or anything like I thought the letter implied.

Going in the beach shack after getting that letter should trigger a cutscene. It sounds like it bugged out
