Hi all! Can someone point me to the fine print where it said you won’t have access to EA when you choose Switch? I backed the game for Alpha AND EA, but never heard/read anything about not being able to play EA when filling out the survey for a switch key. I specifically asked at the time what the differences are, and nobody told me I would not be having EA. Just want to understand where I missed the message. And is there still any way I can change to Steam please? Thanks! Appreciate it 🙏

The initial FAQ stated that console ports would be around 6 months after early access so it was not intended to be released day 1.
Given the nature of porting to consoles, it makes more sense that the team is now choosing to wait until full release, as early access is still in an unpolished state and it would be difficult for them to both release large scale content updates as well as bug fixes for four different platforms simultaneously.
According to many people, it seems like porting a game to consoles in EA stage is almost unheard of.

Well, not really. Disney Dreamlight Valley also EAs on all consoles :). But I understand that is a totally different company/size

Have you emailed support@stairwaygames.com yet? (I just don't want to direct you to something you've already done). The team may change a key for you but I do not know if that is guaranteed.
Also yes, Disney is a different beast altogether 😅

Happy to help! I hope your issue gets resolved soon. Keep in mind though that the team is having to go through email numbers in the high hundreds (or possibly more now that EA is officially launching) so it may take a little bit to respond
