I claimed my early bird streaming key and downloaded it but Steam won't launch the game. It just pops up with the Coral Island logo thing and sits there. It's been trying to open for about 10 minutes and nothin'. I have verified the files, relaunched Steam, and rebooted my PC as well to try and fix it but no luck so far.

Not op but I'm also having the issue. I played some of the alpha but not much and haven't had it installed in awhile. When I did it worked fine from what I could tell. My pc specs are:
OS: Windows 10 home 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-8700
Memory: 16gb ram
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

I did have the Alpha and it worked fine. My PC specs are:
OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-7700k
Memory: 32gb ram
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660TI
I also uninstalled the Alpha to see if that was conflicting somewhere for some reason and that didn't help either.

You may need to reach out to steam support. This seems to be an issue on that end. I know you haven’t received this error message but maybe try all the steps in this article to see if they may work.

I had to dig through their support articles until I found a button that let me submit something to them. I haven't heard anything back yet.
I did find out that one of my stream teammates is having the issue as well. I'm hoping I hear something from them soon. 😭

So Steam responded with some basic troubleshooting for my PC. All of which has been done already and hasn't fixed anything. They said that if none of the things on the list work to reach out to Coral Island's official support team. Looks like the update this morning for the game fixed whatever issue was going on. Bummed I couldn't stream it early but happy that it's fixed!

The other suggestion I got from Coral Island support was to disable any antivirus and see if that helps. @lethal flame

I am having the same problem. Reinstalled, verified on Latest Windows 10 with most updated graphic card driver for Geforce RTX 2060 Super, turned off AV and still same problem.

Ok Elle dm me and said to start the game and let is run in the background for 30 to 45 mins. Then the game will launch, this will be followed by a black screen for 15 mins. I am now in the black screen stage.

Also at zero percentage. Leave it running like that for 20 to 40 mins and eventually it will load into the game and then a black screen for 10 to 15 mins before finally loading into the main menu.
