I got my EA code from Backerkit and redeemed it on Steam, however Steam gave me a popup that says the game is locked as it's not released yet and there's no option to download it. I do have the Alpha version installed, is that the version we are supposed to use?

Hi there, under your Digital Downloads page, does the Early Access key say "Early Access Standard" or "Early Access Early Bird Streaming?" or do you have one of each?

I have one of each, am I meant to use the Early Bird Streamining one? (I used the Standard)

The Early Bird Streaming key is the one you can use to play today, the Standard is the one that opens the game on Oct 11. You can see the info pinned in #🐔coral-general mochabow

ok, thank you! I did try to redeem the early bird code and it said I already owned the product - have I messed myself up by redeemed in the Standard code first?

Yes, unfortunately. Since both keys link to the same game (the only difference being availability times), you won't be able to use the Early Bird key on the same Steam account. But if you purchased a second key for someone else, they can use it on their Steam account.
