"stateless SDK"?

What's the use-case for "stateless SDK", and is it used? (I think I saw one for lambda)

the client implementation in our SDKs is stateless: https://develop.sentry.dev/sdk/miscellaneous/unified-api/#client
other than that, i haven't found mentions of stateless SDK in Sentry
we do have serverless integration for lambda
