is there a setting somewhere to disable spans or certain spans in production? I want to add lots of metrics for development but worried about prod impacts. Thanks!

@grim abyss could add some more details about this use case? Based on the SDK you use - You can prevent sending certain spans/transactions from the client side code itself using beforeSend functions: https://docs.sentry.io/platforms/javascript/configuration/filtering/#filtering-spans
