Only trying to help!

If you have your settings correct as shown in #🚀┃setup-voicemod, then you don't need to mess with anything else.

Just set the mic as voicemod in OBS and you will get good mic quality with the clean mic + in the settings you have a noise gate and background noise reduction.

If you wish to use the virtual cable, then you need to plug that into Voicemod, then in OBS use the voicemod mic. But it's an odd setup and of course is giving you pain as you mention.

Use your real mic in Voicemod, turn these on.

Then in OBS setup a new mic but pick Voicemod. No need to add any filters or limiters as voicemod has it all built in.

Uuh... hi? I got a problem with voicemod rn and ngl I have no clue what to do anymore. Few days ago it was working fine but now it cannot even detect the voicemod mic. For my defense I checked everything thrice in dc settings and did everything along with Discord How-to

Hopefully checking this guide and looking for voicemod in these settings you'll be able to make sure the volume is set to 100% and not muted.

Yeah there's a bunch of hidden audio settings in windows (no idea why you can control volume in different places and they function differently)

Alr found it, for some reason the line of voicemod in the volume mixer was muted, I never touched it so I assumed it worked, now I feel stupid lol

Wondering if anyone can help me out, I used to use Voicemod on FiveM. Haven't for a while. While everything works fine, the soundboard doesn't seen to work on FiveM for certain sounds. I've tried all the "fixes". I've tried editing the sound to make it louder

Hi everyone, happy friday. I have noticed after the latest windows11 update my voicemod sounds/volume are super low. I have 100's of sounds in my soundboard and going through turned them up to 100% volume but they are still very quiet.

Hey guys, mostly love the app but I'm really tired of unblocking and blocking Voicemod's internet access through my Firewall settings every time I use it.
I know it doesn't need an internet connection to work so why are you locking me out of using the software that runs on my PC? I'm not doing it for fun btw.
Internet Restricted Voicemod= 400mb memory usage and stable
Internet Unrestricted Voicemod= 2.5Go memory usage and it crashes all the time.
People have also been asking/waiting for an offline mode since 2024.
I know it's not something difficult to implement.
Is there ever going to be an offline mode or do I need to cut my losses?

It does need an internet connection to work actually, since we load the voices and sounds, they are not stored locally.

At least on the new app.

Don't think there will be an offline mode, because then it will be hard to prevent people cracking the software.
