Idk exactly, but they’re both probably less resource intensive than VTube Studio. It depends on how well or poorly they’re made. lol 🙃 PNGTuber Plus is made in Godot so that one should be fine. You could always test them out. :3

So a few things to try with voicemod first!

FREE

Clean Mic Voicechanger:
Bass: 100%
Mid: 25%
Treble: 50%

PRO

Voice Enhancer Voicechanger:
Noise Reduction: 100%
Bass: 0
Mid: -5
Treble: 5

Also highly advised to set a noise gate in your advanced settings. -50db to -40db is best to remove background noise.

It's also super important to have your input be as clean as possible to make the voices work well. I can recommend NVIDIA Broadcast if you have an NVIDIA GPU where you can then use their noise reduction on your mic. Then in voicemod just put the Nvidia Broadcast mic as your input.

Or alternatively if you use anything like Elgato Wave Link or SteelSeries GG Sonar, be sure to setup a noise gate and noise reduction on your mic + some Equaliser adjustments to further improve your mic quality. Then in Voicemod set the elgato wave link or Sonar mic as your input.

That will help overall for FREE ^^ But if your mic is still not that good then a mic upgrade can make a world of a difference. Best to check YouTube reviews of affordable mics with great quality!

I research all of this. I'm trying to get us to add noise reduction built into the advanced settings and hopefully some type of EQ that way you don't even need to use 3rd party tools to clean your input.

Yeah just make sure Steelseries is using your actual mic so it's applying all its processing to your real mic before voicemod!

Then in voicemod use the sonar mic, it'll have a clean input and improve your performance.

I personally have my sonar noise gate on to -60db and ai clearcast noise reduction set to 30-50%.

Then voicemod noise gate is less needed, so I have that on but set to -60db since it helps reduce any digital noises with our voices.
