Are there any videos/websites you'd recommend that do a good job of explaining this?
There are a lot of videos that describe what each mod does, but I haven't been able to find any that walk you through how to most effectively utilize the user interface to manage the weapon mods you pick up in Battle Royale.
Is the Backpack button/icon the only/best way to do this?
It seems like I recall there being another interface/tool that was just for mods, but I haven't been able to find it.
I find myself having to swap various mods between weapons, manually drop mods, and manually pick up the sniper ones to save until I get my custom Rytec from a red box.
There's just a lot to do and it's clunky. Plus, every second you're in your backpack is a second you could be getting killed.
It's also hard to tell the difference between, say, the regular Extended Mag mod and the Sniper Extended Mag mod just visually. Not sure why they have to have more than one of particular mods just bc they're for a sniper as opposed to everything else.
Also, if a mod is equipped to a weapon and you find a higher quality of the same mod, it auto-updates. Very nice. But does it do this for mods you only have in your Backpack that are not equipped?
Side thought: Is there a way to tell the auto-pickup system to automatically pick up ammo for certain weapons even if you don't have them yet (Sniper, for example) and to never auto-pickup certain weapons (like Marksman or Shotgun)?
