How does world championship work? Can you really win 2 million dollars?

If you got enough points you can continue and if you didn't enough points you are already out?

If you DID get enough points, what are you supposed to do now? Next week it'll be more points and it'll keeps happening till there's no one left? Is it a tournament where we play each other?

I dont understand what I'm supposed to be doing and it won't show me the rules when I try to click onto the website (why wont they just show it in the game?).

Can I actually get real money out of this if good enough? Can someone explain how this works? Im sorry I have to ask.

how can I download all skin assets in one go?

when ingame, I'm seeing my allies and enemies in default skin. When I acquire a gun skin in the mail it displays the default gun, also when viewing someones profile I can't see the character they use it's just a character silhouette.

I need help with Long Shot Shorty

I have been grinding all my camos to Gold now because I want my MX9 to be Damascus. The only camo that I am having a hard time with is the Shorty so I am currently grinding the Crossbow first.

I tried a lot of different attachments, when it hits from a far it doesn't kill, and when it does kill in a distance that is far it doesn't count as Long Shot.

I tried to go so far back in Shipment and Crossfire but it never hits, I never get even a single hit mark. I am waiting for Hardcore Hold to return in featured because it is the best solution, but I doubt my current attachments will not be able to hit any opponent from afar.

My current attachments are:

Choke, OWC Laser - Tactical, Tactical Foregrip A, OWC Stable, Slug Reload

Monolithic Suppressor, Sleight of Hand (I would replace this sometimes with an optic), MIP Laser 5mW, OWC Slim, Slug Reload

and

Marauder Suppresor, Sleight of Hand, MIP Laser, 5mW, OWC Slim, YKM Light Stock

DEV REQUEST - move ratings from TDM end-match, to Domination and Hardpoint

TDM teams scores are based on kills alone, not any sort of ratings or points.

It makes much more sense to show ratings instead at the end of a game of Domination or Hardpoint as it shows more merit towards the players who capture and hold objectives, as well as anyone who kills while on the objective or kills an enemy on the objective.

I posted this a few days ago showing our winning team (of just 4 in the end) and collectively we were terrible - yet the enemy team just kill-farmed and spammed scorestreaks endlessly, and still lost. This is a prime example of where ratings should be shown instead of kills.

I'm not THAT bad to lose 7 out of 10 matches. You know you're fucked the minute the match starts, and they're already taken 2 Dom areas/HP before my team can even reach it. Getting one tapped then K9 spam! Nerfed? When they STILL kill you, before you can kill them, on TOP of SAME fucking dog kills you THREE times in a fucking row?! The fuck is this?

Reminds me of last year how I was fucked out of gun skins, not cus lack of skill, but your shit bugs you STILL haven't fixed, shit sbmm you STILL haven't fixed, and hackers STILL being rewarded for fucking cheating. Seriously?! And all we get when a teamate leaves/loses connection is one SHIT XP card (I've YET to recieve ANYTHING else out of the "sorry you got fucked" crates). While a loss is counted towards our 10, for something we have ZERO control over. It's BULLSHIT!

Story tips grinding to Legendary in COD Mobile (Garena/Global) MP Ranked with average skills

I started playing CODM on 2021 season 2 and I'm a BR main player. I'm not good as well, good enough to reach one Legendary rank and that was it. For short, I play for fun with average to poor skills.

I tried MP and so far I only could reach Pro V (Master V when the GM rank was added). It was too hard for me to earn wins. I always ended up being carried by teammates which is quite embarrassing at times especially in S&D and we'd lose a round because I'm the last one around. I quit MP and thought it's not for me.

I played aa sniper main with melee on the side (usually the katana) a lot in MP and I am not even close to decent at sniping, yes I can hit opponents but when it comes to moving and defending, I have tons to learn. I dropped sniping altogether as of today. I don't use it in rank anymore.

Because...

I realized my mistakes all these seasons. I get killed by dogs which thankfully got nerfed this season, I get killed by shotgun, I don't use lethal equipment so much, and most importantly I get killed by meta users. The last part was so important. What do you do if you can't beat an opponent? join them. I went meta.

Well, yes, it's NOT the best advice out there but if you want to compete equally with them. This is it. For me at least.

Fast forward 2022 Season 1 and I made it Legendary from Elite III. Solo (all of my close friends are BR main players so I have no one to play with haha).

Anyway here are some tips and things I learned.

Try to utilize the meta guns. It's mainstream yes but you can't deny how good those guns are. Like. Real good. Just find one that fits your playing style. Since I play passive all the time, I have CBR4, M13 and Kilo 141 in handy. On some maps I do use the Chopper especially with Domination.

I only play Dom, HP and S&D.
Why? here's why.

FTL and TDM based solely on kills. It barely gives 20+ XP when you're on the bottom unlike the 3. On my experience I get a 40+ XP. If you manage to be on the top 3 though then better at 50+ XP, 60XP and 70XP. All get additional 20 ...

Today i uninstalled CODM.

I started playing when this game was in soft launch. After more than 2 years of playing this game i finally uninstalled it today. Unfollowed all it's related social medias.
I think it's time for me to put this game down for good.
I started playing because i had fun while playing it, with my friends. Along the line my friends stopped, but i kept playing it, adjusting to it.
For the past week i haven't enjoying playing it, maybe because i didn't want to accept it, but i wasn't playing because i had fun, i was playing just for the sake of reaching legendary and completing missions.
I think I've been doing that for the past couple ranked seasons, playing just for the sake of it.
But anyway, I've realised. Finally uninstalled it. 11 GBs out of my phone. 😂 It was fun while it lasted. Looking forward to Apex legends to global launch.
And the new COD title.

I think i am gonna quit codm forever

Why am I gonna quit ? I’ll tell you my story it begins after I took a year long break and came back to codm I came back to codm two months ago in the Final 10 days of season one and saw so many interesting things I thought of coming back so I played till season 2 and I was grinding for the jak 12 but was burned out of playing casually, I thought of playing ranked so I played ranked. when the beta came out I saw a new mode that had tanks vehicles and I was so excited. In that time warzone was announced and Apex legends had it’s soft launch I was so excited. There was a stream that Ferg said that he was at least gonna play codm for a year and I was confused but when season 3 launched I was playing but came to think why I left the game it was because of the games repetitive nature and I was getting burned out and understanded what ferg said and now here I am writing this post to see what are your opinions.

the legend of "optimization". It's amazing how this game gets worse and worse, the character doesn't move, you're going to shoot and stop shooting alone, the cell phone gets a frozen screen and the ping is very high. simply the hate I am of this company is not written. you only think about money, many skins that no one uses, full of characters that not even bots use. Bugged "Low Quality" team voice example.

As many have probably already noticed, the announcer voice sounds very muffled compared to other in game sounds. Even if you've downloaded high quality audio his voice remains as it would on low quality audio. Perfect example here in this video, from CODM partner Jokesta. Bugged announcer audio is evident throughput the whole video, but you can absolutely see what I'm referring around the 10:20 mark. "BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED."

The game is literally unplayable. I can't play a single match without facing huge frame drops, lag, desync etc. Please optimize the game and make it run smoothly even on low-end devices.

I even got kicked out of the game a few times because I wasn't responding for about a minute. I wasn't responding intentionally, the huge frame drops got me kicked out. Please Activision, fix CoDM or else you will lose a ton of players in no time. In fact, I am seeing quite a lot of posts about people quitting CoDM due to huge frame drops, lag, desync and other things that affect the gameplay. So Activision, act fast if you want CoDM to thrive. Yall get over 1b dollars in revenue every year from CoDM. Use some of that money to make the game function better even on low-end devices. Otherwise yall are just digging your own grave.

I have played codm since day 1 and been through all the metas from msmc to s36 to mx9 to type 25 and I have to say this is the worst season that I have ever played over all the 15 seasons. Everyone using persistence makes the game no longer skill based and the chopper gunner makes things even worse. Im sad to say that I will quitting the game as any respawn modes are literally unplayable

My ping went from 40 to 70 which has basically made it from losing most of my gun fights to losing all my gun fights. I've tried reducing my settings and nothing seems to work. Any ideas if it's on my end or the server? Also if it is a server issue any clue on a timeframe for a fix?

Br needs an update

In my opinion, br needs some fixing. For example, being able to stay in first person while parachuting and not constantly deploying a wingsuit, but a parachute manually. And the fact that you can have 300 hp is insanely op. Even a sniper can't one shot someone like that. And similar to warzone, I'd like there to be a buy system, where you collect money around the map and you can buy loadouts, teammates, etc. The map should be a bit more compact as well. It gets boring just running for 15 minutes looking for people to kill.

(This is just an idea and my opinion! Please don't take this as an insult or complaint. They are just suggestions)

Should l get the legendary SVD?

My friend is telling me how great it is but when I spectate him. He spams the gun with an ACOG scope.

The craziest thing is he acts like he's good when all he does is sit in a corner/head glitch and when someone comes running up he switches to Katana and still has his ass handed go him.

I mean the gun looks great but watching my friend put up trip mines and just sit in areas of the map is just stupid and boring. Though hearing him brag about getting his cheap kills is pretty funny tho

Sometimes I get spammed invites from friends that want to play. I'm just trying to grind challenges or gun camos or even tweak my settings. I don't want to seem like an asshole because I have to hit ignore for "five minutes" most of them understand but some of them really can't understand why.... I had to make an alternate account and kick all the friends off there just to update your game....

Sometimes I just log on when I have time to see what's new in store or credit shop.... this sucks that I can't just become invisible to everything instead of going into settings and rejecting all invites.

Imagine proper league play in our game that runs on the championship ruleset with a proper map pool, bans and other stuff from the championship. It will have its own settings that are applied automatically when you enter a league match so even if you have a banned weapon/ perk/ item you will not be able to use it. League play will be based on points system and will have it's own leaderboard!

Low ingame sounds

This is my second time posting about this cause it's really affecting my gameplay very badly now. The ingame sounds sound very low when I use earphones and I can't hear footsteps clearly when I have team voice on for comms, even if I turn it off it's still very low unless I'm in a completely silent room. At first I thought it was just my earphones acting up, but I bought 2 new ones and it's still the same and I'm now thinking it's probably my device, my friends doesn't have this bug on their phones. Everything else sound normal (music, videos, literally anything with media in any other app) except for CODM. I've already maxed out the volume in the game settings but it doesn't do anything. I think this all started 2 system updates ago (I have Redmi Note 10 btw), I'd really appreciate it if this get fixed otherwise I don't think I can play as competitively as I used to unless I buy a new device lol.

What to do when enemy squad pursues you in vehicles?

I was playing duos and dropped into Crash...

Three minutes into the game my teammate decides to go off on his own and I chose to drive an ATV over to Practice Range.

However, when I arrived at PR, an enemy jumped in the chopper before me and this is when The Pursuit™ began.

This unraveled into about a 3 minute chase which ended at farm because one of them performed a pit maneuver on my atv. I deployed my Toy Bomb but I was quickly snuffed out.

I was hoping to attract the attention of another hostile squad at farm and loose my pursuers in the confusion.

All of this probably stems from a lack skill and a high-end device. I'm unsure where I was going with this but thanks for reading.

Sparrow Nerf or Desync?

Is anyone else feeling the sparrow a lot weaker? I was able to kill one person with one arrow at 1 meter from them and now I even need 2 arrows or they kill me before I can kill them even if I shot my arrow at their feet, I've been experiencing a lot more desync, I seem to die a LOT faster than before, and when I die for example, i'm in a corner and I shot first in my perspective, but in the killcam it shows that i'm literally just standing without cover and I don't shoot first, is there any fix? Battle Royale teammates

What is it with BR and people joining squads but running solo. And don't really have any intention of playing as a squad until they die. You can choose solo if that's what you want to do.

Died in a match where I've revived teammates who've died, but a teammate who has been revived jumped at the opposite side of the map. I've tagged another teammate who's waiting on jumping, and now I'm solo because the other guy is on the wrong side of the map. They've run off or didn't jump to their squad.

I'm trying to get to the other side of the map, but there's no immediate vehicles, and an enemy turns up in a vehicle with 2 of them. I'm completely in the open and the safe zone is already closing in. They jump out and shoot me. Game over for me.

Somehow the other one didn't get to jump from the plane, so when the last guy died we finished 2nd.

My chance of survival was reduced because I'm on my own, and like I did, there was a good chance of running into a duo or worst. If the squad had stayed together we would have had a better chance of survival. It ended with the last guy up against at least two of them. And lost.

I'm not sure about the correct way to describe this, but Is anyone's ranked gameplay and weapon choice affected by day to day connection, and not map selection?

Two days ago the only weapons that "worked" for me was the M4 and asval, were as the p90 and kilo were useless and I'd lose almost every gun fight with those no matter the range or map until I switched to the M4/asval.

Yesterday the M4 and asval were completely useless and couldn't out shoot anything, but now the kilo and rus were very useful.

Today only the p90 has worked for me were as everything else was useless even my purifier.

It's just confusing how one day, for the entire day, my M4 and asval can out shoot almost everyone with an mp5, m13 and kilo, but the entire next day, I die instantly with those weapons until I switch, and it has almost nothing to do with the skill of my opponent.

Why can't I see my friend's operator skins?

I have downloaded all operator resources and yet I can't see the operator skins of some of my friends. Would you look at that, another mw2019/bocw map that plays like absolute dogshit in codm...

Simply put, the map is way too small as well as way too linear... People can only approach in so many ways, so you can easily camp in modes like tdm and dom, while hardpoint is a complete clusterfuck because the spawns are literally 2 steps away from the hardpoint locations for both allies and enemies.

Surely there has been a KRM or in general a shotgun nerf.

Been a global top 100 KRM user for the past season and used to heavily dominate games with it. Especially certain maps. And there was always an inconsistency about KRM anyway.

But now, it's just every now and then. Easiest one shots are being denied with random hitmarks. Headshots are also hit marks when an opponent is rushing TOWARDS me.

Just wanna know if other players are also facing the same problems.

While I was playing Alcatraz Br at one point in the game my frame rate was dropping to the point where I couldn’t shoot the enemy and died then it went back to normal after I drop from the plane into Alcatraz.

Ranked controller glitch season 3 (2022)

As a controller player, the only way I could get ranked matches was by the glitch where you go into a private match, go into the spectate spot, then back to ranked, start the game, and reboot the app. This seem to have been patched.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get into ranked matches as a controller player in this season? Thanks.

Cant play codm

Lag is critical i can't even play normally, I get like 40 ms but I normally get 27 ms.

40 ms - 70 ms isnt bad but I can't literally shoot enemies.. my bullets keep missing. Enemies keep killing me from places because of bad ping..

I have a low end device with 3gb ram however I have a good internet so I don't lag and have 27 ms but after season 3, lag is so more worser... 😞 I can't even grind for Mac 10 because I keep dying

I was just playing by myself and had good teammates for the matches that were won/almost won and some pretty lousy teammates for the others (with one where someone quit mid-match)!

So in the end, I didn't get the weapon camo for the first weekend (didn't get 60 points)...

For all controller players, about championship

So I'm making this post because I see a lot of posts lately about controller players not being able to participate in the championship.

You can dl a key mapping app (mantis being the best one) and use any controller you want (Bluetooth or direct). There's 0 delay, and you'll be able to play with finger lobbies (the game will not detect the controller unless you're still using the ps or Xbox controller).

But beware if you do this :

You could get banned for this (get unlikely, the app is made to not be detected and avoid bans)

Most importantly, you'll play with a massive disadvantage facing finger players as they'll have tremendous accuracy compared to you, so it's normal if you don't perform as usual.

Medal points can help skilled players get scorestreaks easier while also helping less skilled players be able to compete without the forbidden perks (hardline and persi). If medal points are added back but only for players who don’t have persistence or hardline equipped, it would be easier to counter these perks. It may even make other players switch hardline and persistence out of their loadouts since they no longer have to worry about not keeping up with persi noobs

COD Mobile...for the Switch?

Yes, you read that title right. There is a rumor going around saying that Call of Duty could potentially come to the Nintendo Switch. As for what game they will could port over, the rumor mill is going wild. There are three potential candidates I have seen, heard and read about for potential ports. They are MWR (Modern Warfare Remastered), BO4, and COD Mobile. I have learned about this possibility when I watched COD YouTuber Merkmusic's most recent video.

Ignoring the other two games, my question to the community here is how would you feel if COD Mobile were to be ported over to the Switch. Personally, I would welcome the new experience with open arms. It would keep the mobile aspect of the game relative due to the Switch's versatility.

Controllers not allowed in Championship?

Hello, I've been playing ranked matches all weekend to qualify for next round, however only two matches were showing up on my qualifying rounds page. On a hunch, I removed my phone from my Backbone controller and voila, that match counted. I remembered then that I had played two without controller yesterday but thought nothing of it.

Maybe I missed it or maybe I just don't know any better, but are controllers not allowed in Championship matches? I'm happy to play without it, but if I'm confused about it there's probably others that are too. Hopefully this thread will help everyone!

Pls fix the game!

So last season the game was running smoothly on medium max frame rate, mind you lacking consistency in frame rate.
So i just used low graphics and easy peezy.
Fast forward to this season I'm getting unreasonable and uncontrollable freezing, like the game screen itself freezes and everything else runs smoothly.
Why ?!
The game used to run smooth on even worse devices than mine, but now it's incredibly bad and frustrating to even be in the lobby pls.
Pls optimize the graphics or do something to help with performance issues, cause honestly this was starting to look like one of the best seasons to ever exist but honestly it isn't worth it to have all these skins when you can't even do the basic thing of using them.

One of the most annoying bugs i have ever gotten.

There was music playing non stop and i could barely hear footsteps. Not sure where this music was coming from, felt like i was in a cutscene from gta vice city. Probably from the new bp? I have no clue. It kept on playing on repeat and it wouldn't stop, after i lost because of this bs because i could barely hear anything else, i had to restart the app to stop it. God, one of the most obnoxious and rage inducing bugs.

Btw, the music wasn't playing before i started the match so i am not sure what caused this to happen. I just straight up went on the br menu and started the match.

Has this ever happend to anyone?

Let me piss you the scenario. I was in a game where I had a full team. I actually had teammates that tried helping fight against real players. They were sweats. I also had one guy that was kind of anchoring respawns with no mic. Just sniping and being a noob Killing bots on the other side of the map. The other two guys were "decent"....... it's when it got down to the last 5 teams where I kill 2 and knocked 1 and was so low in HP where I couldn't get away.... the same guy killed the other two players

And for some reason with 18s left til we respawned to hopefully try to win the guy with no mic decides...

okay nows my chance to prove to these guy I got what it takes....Me and all 3 of my bot kills am going to take on the whole map.....

He knocks one bot and the kill gets stolen by the another bot.

Then with only 8s left with me and the other guys saying please just wait! Please! He's goes to the roof and we get 4th place......... and his hip fire shot was hitting everything but the guy.....

It's players and plays like these that make me wonder how these kind of people even like playing the game. Why I hate search and destroy. I hate watching the worst player be the last person. To die and not even kill one of the last remaining players/player.

Anyone know this feeling alot?

Mac 10 thoughts

After getting it gold and using it both in mp and br, I think its both balanced, as well as completely broken at the same time.

It's balanced in the way where it can only do close range, and past 10m, you can already see it start to struggle. It's broken because it does that job way too good... it makes 7/19 other smgs completely irrelevant, as well as any other gun that's supposed to be close range.

Extreme Lag and Blackscreen

As a disclaimer, I’d like to say that these issues might be because of either A) my outdated iPhone 7 or B) my low storage on said phone which might be impacting performance.

But anyways. First day of the new season everything was fine. The game was a bit laggy, few frame drops, cool. Blamed it on my phone downloading resources and also lag isn’t too abnormal.

However, the next day when I try to play Alcatraz to get the new free Bale skin, BOOM, lag, more frame drops than normal, then a frozen screen, and then blackscreen.

I figured, ok, whatever, this happens sometimes. Reload the game, reconnect, two seconds in black screen AGAIN. Now at this point I’m very confused, so I figure maybe my phone needs a recharge and a cooldown. So I charge it and wait about an hour or so.

However, the lag, freezing, and black screens continue. They continue the next day, too, and no matter what I try (sitting near router, playing in cooler environment, clearing apps, deleting photos and videos, low brightness, etc), nothing works.

The rest of my phone works fine, but CODM just doesn’t. And this only started now, during the new update.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, does anyone have any solutions as to how to fix it or why it’s occurring?

A change to the XPR-50

An idea how to change the XPR-50 and to make it ok and balanced, aka attachment and gun tweaking;

11 round extended mags, 9 round fast mags (replaces 13, 18, and stopping power reload mags)

change no stock to the combat stock (it's a 12.7×99mm rifle, no stock makes no sense to have at all; same downsides, ads speed is the only benefit, -7.3% to be specific)

and a firerate change
240 RPM → 156 RPM

lethal zone change (basing firerate and lethal from stopping power)
upper chest, neck, and head → upper chest, neck, head, arms, forearms

please do let me know what you guys think about it, because of how it is right now with the dragonuv added, it just isn't the best sniper (looking to make it an ok sniper with this suggestion) when it fires at 160 RPM (currently), strictly upper chest and head, and only 8 rounds, while the dragonuv fires at 180 RPM, 20 rounds max, and upper chest and head +arms

What are the downsides of kilo/m13?

Usually guns have some sort of a down side if they're strong, but I can't seem to find it with these guns...

They are the best in the class at all ranges, being better at long-range than any lmg, and better at close range than most smgs. They don't have recoil issues. More than enough ammo... Mobility, maybe? But you have negligible downsides for running no stock...

Theres so much shit im done with in the state of the game right now so im just letting it out

  1. Not playing objective. In ranked matches there’s all these iFerg inspired tryhards who do nothing but try go for high kill games. In modes like domination and hardpoint, I often find myself sacrificing myself over and over to just try get on points while all these other idiots are camping in a corner trying to not die.
    Play the objective and if ur not at least make sure ur keeping people off the point and killing. If ur not u can fk off

  2. Shotguns, snipers and thumpers
    I dont know if this is a shared sentiment but im so sick and tired of going round corners only to get one shot by a dude sitting there with a laser on a krm, theres no skill involved and no counter to getting one shot. Same for snipers, theres so many tryhard sniper wielders who just go around trying to one tap everybody they see and so many more just lying down in corners and waiting, its not fun and its not even challenging because u cant challenge getting one shot to the leg or something

Thoughts on the New Trap Master?

Based on my understanding so far, I think it is weaker than before.

(1) it's easier to see (-).

(2) It can be triggered from all angles, not just when the enemy crosses the wire (+).

(3) it doesn't do damage instantly (-) but does slow down the enemy instantly (+)

(4) once the explosion happens, both the enemy and you take damage (-) if you are near.

(5) with the old trap master, you could track the enemy as soon as he hits the trap. With the new version, I don't know exactly when is the tracker activated.

Cbr, asval, kilo, m13 and other gun analysis from your point of view?

Cbr seems like a close mid range gun that can also be used for long range too.

Asval loses effectiveness due to BV after 20m. But within that range it is very effective with high mobility and good ttk. No hitmarkers also help.

Kilo seems passive oriented gun. Ttk and mobility isn't enough to compete with close range guns. But base range is awesome and should be played to hold angles.

M13 has BV too. I see it like a range oriented asval. It can do well with high mobility at close range but ttk isn't as fast as asval. In return it has more BV, higher mag and easier recoil so it can be used for ranges.

Persistence

How many times can a player use persistence in a game?

As far as I know, a player can only use it once in a game, or do they? I kept seeing people crying over it I don't use persistence but I personally think it's not bad as it has its own drawback which is then doubled streak cost, just so guys know I usually play domination and hardpoint as I'm quite ass in SnD and every game I encounter persistence player but hey so are my teammates(or yours) and I think the complaint here isn't really about the perk itself rather the experience of dying over and over to scorestreak that is then caused by the perk that obviously can be easily countered by some other perk as well or by just simply avoiding the range of the scorestreak

controller/emulator

They patched the "glitch" which was the only way for emulator and controller players to play rank mp or non-bot lobbies in BR.

Being a controller player myself and having spent a substantial amount in this game, I've already started transitioning to touch controls. However, most of my emulator comrades aren't able to do so because either they don't own a decent mobile device or they're just not good on touch controls.

My request to the Dev's would be to either improve matchmaking for emulator lobbies or allow cross platform games like Warzone does.

Please offer constructive advice in the comments please.

Bugs and lags

Is there anyone facing audio bugs in MP? My audio completely cuts off and I can't hear a thing while I play MP ranked and this has been happening a lot.

Also, I'm facing Framedrop and stuttering issues since the update in MP and BR. Before the update I only faced that in BR. Anyone else facing these bugs?

am i able to shoot through walls with monolithic suppressor+ fmj?

so i’ve been using the svd recently and i was in a match where someone didn’t have a suppressor but was able to shoot me through walls but i had one so i couldn’t shoot them back. which got me thinking about my attachments and what i can improve, and i have the monolithic suppressor to increase damage range so i can compete with the main stream snipers like dlq and locus but still be able to have a fast fire rate and i don’t really want to take off the suppressor because im losing range but what would happen if i added fmj to it? would it cancel out the fact that you can’t shoot through walls with a suppressor or????

Game servers are horrible

I lag out of nearly every BR pre game lobby I join and when I do manage to get into a game, everything is smooth until eventually at one point none of my bullets register, everything freezes and I'm kicked out of the lobby again.

I live in Sri Lanka and my WiFi is great, it works perfectly fine on any app and loads 4k videos on YouTube very quickly, so it's definitely an issue on codms end.

In BR, do bots not parachute in?

The initial flight was to the far south, east to west. I landed and quickly scooped up a copter in Nuketown. Then I flew across the map to Sanitarium, landing on the roof, where no player could possibly be. Sure enough there’s a bot conning up from third floor, aimlessly firing.

I thought at a minimum bots would enter the match like the rest of us. It seems they are inserted randomly all over the map. There’s no way a player could have gotten to where I was without a copter as well.

especially in BR . i was spectating in tank battle this one guy who was sniping, he had three guys in his scope and was just sitting there doing nothing. they kept running around and when he shot his aim was way off, like completely off. he could've literally run up to them shot them and had 3 kills. it was so atrocious i had to leave the game. other guys just kind of spray around and hope it hits. what's up with that? you don't use the aim feature?

Any bud recommendations?

I’ve been playing 4 finger somewhat claw like for a long time and have my movement on my left thumb, upwards, my scope button with my left index. And on the right, the top part of the right side is for moving the camera and then the fire button with my right thumb. As are my slide and jump button on the bottom right corner and they are big so I can hit them. The main problem is that I like to quickscope
But with this, it feels like I miss a lot of shots. I’m good at the game, but I’m fairly certain it’s my hud. If anyone has any tips or recommendations or links to helpful stuff, please share. Thankssss

There has to be some way for them to ban people using android emulators + programs.

Keep facing it, I'm already legendary in BR and for some reason, like 50% of the people in this rank are using android emulators on desktop and using hacks.

Just had a match where the guy was running my down with a vehicle, hitting me while I was in the air (jetpack) even though I was above his car everytime, and he then proceeded to teleport out of the vehicle multiple times, and I ended up getting really high, you would need a grapping hook or a jetpack to get up there, OR climb the loud af ladder.

I'm healing up there and then suddenly he's ABOVE ME and snipes me in the head.

This shit has to stop. They really need to go after people who may be suspected of using desktop.

I know this was an issue last year and it seems nothing has been done to fix the problem for some this year. I have played well over 30 ranked matches since registering and only ONE match is showing on the Championship qualification page and at that it was a loss. My account got hacked yesterday but luckily they're not changing my password so I've been able to log on without problems. Every time I change my password, they somehow are still able to access my account. My email doesn't appear to be compromised at all.

I set up 2-factor authentication with the Google Authenticator app. If I log into my account online (COD or Activision websites) it asks me for the authentication code after I input my username and password, as it should, so I'm certain I set it up correctly. However, if I log into my account through the COD Mobile app (clicking the Call of Duty button on the login screen) it never prompts me for the authentication code, so it continues to log me in with only username and password, which apparently the hacker keeps getting.

Anyone know why the app isn't asking for the authentication code, or how to make it ask for the code? If I can't get this working I'm worried I'll lose the account for good soon enough.

This game is awesome, but every time I go to get on I connect my Xbox controller before hand, it’s paired with my iPad already, I get into a game and it doesn’t work, it’ll let me use the screen shot button but that’s it. How did you deal with sensitivity?

So basically, i am an average player and it seems i am starting to hit a wall. I am losing easy fights and i can't seem to improve as i climb higher and i get actual players that know what they are doing (for the most part).

I learned how to play with 3 fingers. I use one thumb for moving, the other thumb for targeting/jumping/crouching etc and one index finger for firing. I cannot use a 4th finger because it really hurts my hand but it seems that this is not a big issue, the issue is that i cannot find a good sensitivity setting.

If i go too high i cannot target, if i go to low targeting is easier but the ability to follow the enemy suffers. No matter what sensitivity i try, it seems that i cannot figure out what works best for me. I either have a fat finger or i don't know what... Either my close range will get screwed or my mid to long range, it seems that i cannot find a happy middle of the road setting.

How did you deal with sensitivity? What settings are you using? I am trying to work on it but it feels frustrating.

A bit of background. I consider myself a good casual player. K/D about 6, ranked usually 2-3, depending on how much I play it because I don't want to wait for more than a minute to find a match. I usually play about 4 MPs and a BR or two per day (rl happens). I came from pubg mobile when cod mobile was released so I already knew how to claw, but it was still a learning curve. Got killed left and right by people slide jumping. My reaction? Ohhh cool, how do they do it, I need to learn this. This was prompted by me finding some screenshots of when I finally started winning and being MVP. I have dropped countless nukes since then.

My point is, running around aimbot hipfiring doesn't mean you're good. You suck. And you especially suck when I'm done with work and I just want to chill and play some casual games. I get it, you want to be legendary, but don't want to put in the time. Well, that's not how life works. At least keep it to ranked, where it might mean something (it doesn't). You are not learning anything, you don't know how different footsteps sound, you are not learning how to take cover when reloading. You will always suck. And someone (me) will get around your back and kill you because you don't know these things.

And, most importantly, you're missing all the fun. All the fun of being good. You know what games I like the most? It's not the 80+ kills HP with two bad players and bots on the other team. Or when I "luck out" on ranked and get some bad players that I Just mow down and need to change guns all the time because my ammo is running out.

The games I like most are when there are two good teams and you struggle to get a fucking UAV up. The ones where you'r k/d sucks. The ones where you need to bring your A game on. Those are fun. I'm a mediocre sniper and I suck with shotguns. And there is nothing more fun for me than being against a master of those two. You get killed. You learn. You have fun.

Just like the nuke, we should only be able to unlock streaks with gun and melee kills. Using other streaks and operator skills to get streaks seems easy and makes persistence not seem that bad.

C'mmon, other CoDs have this, so why would it be a problem if it were to be a thing in CoDM? It's also one of the solutions to the scorestreak spam problem in CoDM.

Is this bad... No I enjoy a flexible meta the problem is when t1-t2 guns can't compete unless they offer something busted like the ICR 4 shot no recoil potential

When season 3 starts game has been good but when i started playing mp rank i got match up with squad and i thought its nit a big deal but when i play a rank match again i got match up with squad again and again and again and again and again im not a squad player i dont play with squad's im a solo q player and this new match making is a hassle for me and Probably some of the solo q player's out there and i know i have squad in my team to but THERE TRASH AF and it so annoying and unfair at the same time and because of that im on a f losing and i win like once or twice and lose streak us back again so please codm devs fix the match making because i love this game and i dont want to quit but this season for me is not going well so far i hope you guys see this post.

Connected controller and immediate change lobbies

As title states, I tried connecting and playing with a controller and immediately got thrown into lobbies with bot style names and basic operator skins. Both my teammates and enemies played completely different too. This happened in battle royale as well. Seems like I may run into a handful of actual people and mostly bots.

So my question is, does connecting a controller just throw me into games and fills it with bots because not many people actually play with controller or was this just coincidence?

In-game CoD Login does not ask for 2FA authentication. It only works on site with a a browser.

This is most likely how accounts are hacked. I'd assume user pass can be obtained from leaks.

To replicate: First try logging in to your Activision account from a browser (I tested on Chrome), if you have 2FA enabled, you'll be asked to enter the code.

But if you login from in-game CoD Login webview, you'll be accepted without any 2FA interference.

If anyone could contact devs about this, it'd benefit us all.

Here’s my idea on how to nerf persistence

Idea 1: If you equipped persistence all scorestreaks automatically gets nerfed. How? Here's my list on the current scorestreak that could be nerfed if equipped with persistence
Shield turret- decrease damage
With persistence equipped
UAV- reduce health, updates every 8 seconds
Shock RC- reduce time to get out and speed
Hunter Killer- reduce damage and area effect
Care Package-decrease the odds of something like a VTOL or stealth chopper. Reduce heath of package
Counter UAV-reduce time it counters lower health
Dragonfire- decrease health and radius of each shot.
SAM Turret- decrease health and damage
Predator missile- decrease area damage and speed
Hawk X3- decrease speed, health, and damage
Sentry gun- decrease health, damage, and range
Lightning strike-decrease damage and area effect
Orbital Laser- decrease damage, increase speed, and decrease area effect
XS1 Goliath- decrease health and damage
Cluster strike- decrease missiles, reduce area effect and damage
Chopper Gunner- decrease health
Stealth Chopper- decrease health, damage, and reduce range
Napalm- decrease damage, burning effect, and decrease the time of napalm
Advanced UAV- make it shootable, update every 10 seconds
EMP System- reduce effect on screen
VTOL- decrease health, damage, and area effect.

If I buff the Tank like this, do you want it to be implemented in the future?

- greatly increased 120mm smoothbore cannon damage against vehicles (damage against players remain unaffected)

- Tanks will have a chance to drop after the first Arsenal airdrop has been dropped

This Tank buff can help the Tank to get it's own purpose back without breaking the game like the pre-nerf Tank. Instead of it destroying players, it mainly destroy vehicles and ppl in it. So if you are caught out of the open as a player, the Tank can't kill you easily. But instead, the players that are inside of a vehicle that are in the Tank's line of sight, you are in danger and the Tank can kill you easily. As an airdrop vehicle, it should be much more powerful than any other vehicles instead of it being a moving coffin. This tank buff turns your average racing game into a vehicle hunting game.

The MAC-10 has utterly ruined the game

Those of you who say "it's balanced" or "it's trash", we all know you're fvcking lying. That gun is basically the new MX9, stupidly fast TTK, lightning fast strafe speed. Nothing can compete with it. Every single time I've been paired up with a MAC-10 abuser, I can never win. That gun is ridiculously overpowered and broken, and desperately needs a nerf. My suggestion is to reduce the damage down to 19 to compensate for that unnecessarily high fire rate.

OK so I lost my guest account, CaptFrankWoods ID: 6837380002628435969 but I have made a few purchases on that account.

A few Newb Questions, if you don't mind!

Hey all, I'm new to COD Mobile, I'm a older casual gamer so generally can picks things up but just a few questions and this game as eems to chuck you in heavy, with no real guidance on how to do things!:

  1. when you all talk about purchasing the battle pass, and that you basically get the next battle pass free in CP points, do you all mean the basic battle pass? I've bought that, but don't know if I needed to get the premium option? (With extra tiers or something).

  2. The guns you get from events, battle pass etc that are all kitted up to look good, are they also generally configured well for attachments? So generally you would leave as is?

  3. today I got a kitted up sniper rifle in a gift box, but I didn't click "equip" like I normally would as I had a loadoutI was happy with. Is this now gone? I checked in blueprints under that gun but it's not there.

  4. I'm about level 14, is it worth saving all the weapon XP cards I'm getting for when I know what I want?

  5. does gaining XP in a weapon make you better with that weapon (better stats) or just unlock more attachments? And is the attachments always limited to 5?

I feel like it would improve the experience of using semi auto shotguns if you could use the secondary fire button to fire followup shots after you ads rather than have to hardscope or ads again to fire. Since they're semi auto, they should handle like it. Perhaps they could even fire on ads like the sks. Thoughts? Criticisms? Other ideas?

This season was the last straw. Goodbye CODM.

I know this sub is full of dev-devotees who will probably downvote this post to oblivion but I need to say this. I just uninstalled CODM and I am never playing it again. I know kids will comment “nobody cares” but it is my right to give feedback as someone who is playing since 2020 and someone who has spend over 1.5 lakh INR on this game ($2000).

Following are my reasons of quitting:

  1. Mindless nerfs and buffs: WHAT WAS THE NEED TO BUFF CHOPPER GUNNER??!! And if you buffed it, why not buff FHJ as well? In a ranked Hardpoint match one chopper gunner can take many many attempts to destroy. FHJ takes an eternity to lock onto it. Sometimes it’s difficult to even locate the damn chopper in the sky. Sometimes FHJ refuses to move properly - doesn’t move in proper circle, you have to walk a few steps to again be able to attempt to lock onto the chopper. Chopper gunner is the biggest nuisance I have seen in this game till now.

  2. SBMM. It’s totally shit. I think it is even shittier this season with the changes they have brought. A team of solo players can go against a team of 3 or 4 players. Who was the genius who came up with this idea?

  3. Worst maps. After waiting 200 seconds for a match to be presented with the options of Icebreaker and Vacant! Who the hell wants to play these terrible maps. These maps are NEVER selected when there is an option of a different map. Doesn't that give the genius devs an idea of what the players want?

  4. Too much nonsense in the game now. Is it necessary to add one ridiculous thing every season? A few are fine. But how many things is a player supposed to deal with? Freaking K9. Chopper gunner. Sparrow. Orbital laser. Molotovs and thermites. Can we have a shooting game with a few extra things? It’s basically a "throw random BS" and also sometimes shoot a gun at this point.

  5. Random bugs this season. Sometimes you have to try 10 times before audio (speaker and mic) switches on or off. I guess they improved it a little with the mini-update but the issue is still there. And this sea...

dude been trying to report me two times now.

I've been playing casually and I've encountered the same guy twice, unknown ID because of streamer mode but he literally sent the same message and the random ID is the same, because I did the most easy track of a guy running into cover while using a RPD (lmg's can wallbang from long distance) and I got him being cover, he wrote "Report V.-" (V.- is my ID) asked why, he never answered, now I encountered the guy again and he said "Report V.-" replied with "Report your ass dude". Should I be worried or something? I've been getting hackusations for a long time because I predict player positions while using the RPD. And I can't do anything about the guy because he has streamer mode the only thing I can use in my defense are screenshot of his pfp and streamer ID.
The dumbest thing is that even if I was hacking he should've lost the match or something, he literally won the two matches I encountered the guy.

Guide on fighting shotgun users in battle royale

Hi guys, I see a lot of people getting frustrated from fighting the shotgun users in br, especially the hs0405 guys who slide and jump all around you, so I wanted to give some tips and tricks on fighting them. I main the hs0 in both open lobbies and top 5k public matches, and have it both full mastery and diamond, and I've noticed a few weaknesses that you can exploit against shotgun users.

  1. Timing your movement: majority of shotgun users slide, jump, and take the shot. The reason they we still you even when you're moving is that we anticipate where you're going to be and aim there, rather than where you are before we slide. You can throw this off by sliding after they slide in the same direction as them. Ex: if they slide left, you slide left immediately after. Sliding while we turn to the side means that your motion is not in a direction that we expect.

  2. Weapon choice: if you want to win a fight against a good shotgun player, you need to use a fast firing smg. These are the dominant full auto weapons in the range that shotguns are useable. Mac10, fennec, msmc, and even rus are good cqc weapons due to good movement speed and hipfire accuracy. Another option is using shotguns and movement, but I'm going to assume that is not the way you want to deal with it since that requires using claw and/or gyroscope to be consistent.

3: HIPFIRE: if you ads with an assault rifle or smg, by the time you are fully aimed in, the shotgunner will have had time to do another slide jump and reposition themself, making you miss majority of your shots.

4: Movements: adding on to the method of copying their slides, another thing that really throws off shotgun aim is strafing side to side if you're far enough away that you can consistently keep them in front of you. I would recommend doing this in any fight, not just against shotgun users, since it will make it harder for any weapon to consistently hit you. This is also why building your smgs for high movement speed is important.
