Boom. Don’t mean to trigger the hivemind.
Call of Duty: Mobile and it’s glory days (original S1-S6) was beautiful. It was the most fun game that everyone enjoyed and had in their devices.
Compare that to the current state of the game, and it’s a bit embarrassing.
You have MP mode, which for most, it’s the most enjoyable part of the game, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s good. The meta is boring. All they do every single time is make a few guns lightyears better than the others, and boom, you’re staying with this boring meta for like 3 months, although it sometimes feels like an eternity. You can shoot at someone first and hit the first few shots, but if you’re not using meta and the other guy is, you’re most likely fucked half of the time.
You have a dog who can even die to my shotgun at close range and straight up one shots you. Rocket launchers have the most pathetic blast radius. The nerf of almost all perks make them useless have of the time.
I actually like BR more than MP, something I never thought I’ll say. But most of the time, I don’t feel that pressure or the blood rapidly rushing through my veins, since out of the 100 people in a match, 80 are bots.
And lastly, zombie mode. Just gonna say that this gets very tedious and old real quick. I would love to see them bring back the old zombie mode and let us play both whenever we want.
Honorable mentions:
-Awful banning system.
-The fact that your account is not safe from deletion, putting the fear of God in me each time I get in a match. I wonder how this got behind their back.
-The lack of developer to player communication.
-Lying developers.
-Buggy
Now, I do think that there is hope. I don’t know if the Microsoft acquisition will come into play, but if it does, I hope they rattle things up for the better.
One thing that the developers can do is actually listen to their player base and take actions upon some complaints.
I know that there will always be bugs in a game, but, they could take their time to fix some of these ...
