errr new to cod mobile so yerrr! <3

SO I bought the 'Rename Card' & whilst changing my name I added a symbol, turns out you can't use symbols so I took it out (First Try). On my second go at it, I didn't add the symbol but it still said "Username Contains Invalid Characters".

So I decided to wait 3days, since it says - 'Renaming Will Be Available In 3 Days". But it still says the same thing after 3 days?

What Do I Do & Could someone explain/help me pls :)

Suggestions for new updates to come

I would like codm to add some new features to the game that would bring it to the next level. I mean the new features are good and all but have you ever tried adding this type of features for eg:

  1. You can start by changing melee weapons to pistols has our starting weapons when we play in BR mode in that way we have a fighting chance against opponents when we land in the same area. Kind like Warzone
  2. You should also add a Canted Aim Button because I personally think it's cool and it would be useful to have a Long range scope and close range scope equipped at all times

This are the two features I would like to see in the game and hope to see game so CODM please add this features

A few of my friends have reached top 5k and I'm nearing it too but considering the cut off goes higher each day i wanted to know when do we get that electric legendary icon for it. Do we get it as soon as we reach it and stay there, but that did not happen with my friends? Or do we get it at the end of the week like weapon mastery? Or end of month?

Standard ground loot guns vs Blueprint ground loot guns

This has really been bugging me for a while, but does anyone know if there is a difference in stats such as damage/recoil/bsa for standard guns vs standard guns with legendary/mythic skins on e.g. AK 47 Kuromaku or M13 mythic?

When the AK 47 Kuromaku came out I would often pick up standard ground loot gun with the legendary skin on and it felt a lot better than the just the standard AK 47 ground loot. I just put it down to psychology and my mind just playing tricks as I don't have the skin. However now that the mythic m13 came out it feels like theres a difference between a standard ground loot m13 with the mythic skin vs just the standard ground loot skin

Does anyone know if there is any actual difference in stats or if its just my mind playing tricks and trying to justify to buy the skins lol.

Unplayable due to lag

Hey guys, what 8s going on with the lag in both MP and BR? The game is so unplayable at the minute. My game/screen just has a fit, I'm using S20+ and so I know its not my phone, my friend has the latest iPad and he says the same thing. I've read some comments from players talking about an issue with Samsung's game booster but surly that can't be it of my friend has the same issue on iOS. Also is there any info on more server's? I play EU and you can tell when you come against someone from Africa or the middle East as the game just decides to stop. I live this game but I'm starting to lose the love due to the issues and I'm sure there's many others thinking the same.

Take Persistence out of rank along with K-9 units and make melee two tap.

The game is really balanced rn considering how bearable the current meta is , Persistence is a stupid perk because people don’t actually have to work hard to get op stuff to end the game you can go triple negative and still get Goliaths and cluster strikes to end the game when you been losing all game.K-9 units are extremely annoying I’m not looking on the ground all game and even when I do see it often it’s to late because the health it has is insane and unless you have clear view of it coming it’s over, Melee should be two tap , in s&d people will use melee more then they use there primary weapon that they picked and often when they use that primary they have no actual skill so revert to only using a 1 tap knife or boxing gloves lol.

People getting banned left and right for a day?

been playing this game literally since season 1 and decided to finally grind for leaderboards this new season after hitting legendary 9 times before. I literally hit rank 99 and the next game i get banned mid-game and its only for a day? what does that even mean. i know for sure i dont hack or any other possible thing that would risk a ban.

and this hasnt happened only to me. i've had 4 friends banned now for a day since the new season started, and again none of them cheat.

kind of a bummer finally seeing my name on the boards after 2 years of playing this game, and not being able to grind for the top.

Soon after I reached Grand Master 1, it shows Rookie 1 on the main menu of Battle Royale and the matchmaking won't start, eventually it says "COD mobile unable to find opponent".
I read somewhere that if Average Kill becomes too high then players become hard to find so you have to die in some matches deliberately,lmmo

Emulator safety

Hello and good day to you all.

I like to play my CODM on my computer and I use Bluestacks. I have been banned for over a week. I have not used it since I want to progress in this season. I know that the emulator Gameloop is the official emulator to CODM. I have also seen people getting banned on that emulator as well. Why did my name change?

So I went back in to COD Mobile just about an hour ago and my name is changed?!?!

I GOT BANNED FOR PLAYING ON AN EMULATOR, BUT I DIDN'T HACKED | GARENA SERVER

Since last night, my main account got banned for 24hours for no reason. I'm only using BLUESTACK5 as my emulator and no other third party application. The performance settings for my BLUESTACK instance is within the limit of performance the game actually allows (e.g. 90fps, and even lower my resolution to 960x540) yet I still got banned. I was only playing how I should normally play, no hacks, no nothing. Swapped to my second account last because of it (didn't get banned last night), but I played this morning, but I got banned after the game finished. Mind explaining what's going on here? Both accounts got banned for 24hours just for playing on an emulator (i don't have a decent phone to play CODM). I installed it through the Play Store.

Season 10 is disappointing!

TBH the only good thing that happens is MX9 nerf.

they nerf UAV & quick fix. on the other hand they buff k9 unit. but still, persistence is not even touched. I mean why do they nerf that something that isn't broken. the community didn't ask this. this gonna lead player's to camping. this is not pushing the players to move around the map. the game is holding you back on the map. you can't play aggressive this time around.

this is giving the signal that cod dev's didn't take any lesson from previous call of duty games. they just putting every bad & good stuff without doing research.

bug & glitches, optimization is bad. over the past seasons, the game ran smoothly on my device but now there are some fps drops. there are some small changes like player voting best kill cam, but don't talk about weapon inspection because we were supposed to have that long ago.

I was expected to see this season a little bit of a turning point when it comes to gameplay. overall it's just a bad update. this season is punishing you for being aggressive.

I wish we can have a good multiplayer experience before the end of this year. just like the old days.

Why kinetic armor is a bad design?

I want to say kinetic armor is a bad design for a multiplayer game like call of duty. it's messing up with time to kill & making more difficult in gunfights

if you run into someone who has kinetic armor, that person will have more advantage than you, and also if you carrying an assault rifle or SMG and you missed a couple of shots your chance of getting killed is very hight

kinetic armor is fit in a battle royale mode, not in a multiplayer. you only have one life in a BR mode, so you want to keep your health at maximum but in multiplayer you keep getting spawning

there was some call of duty games that have introduced armor plate-like black ops 4 and they also brought this feature back into call of duty vanguard and the feedback from those players wasn't much good, they don't like an armor plate in multiplayer. this makes the time to kill is slow. even the kinetic armor is balanced well but still, it doesn't fit in a multiplayer.

just like I said, It could be awesome if it's in BR mode because you only have one life. but in a multiplayer, I don't think it's a good idea. this operator skill is not necessary for a multiplayer game

Weapon rename question

When you rename a weapon (from unlocking master or using weapon rename card), will teammates and opponents see the name of your weapon on BR when you get a kill or get killed? For example “SportySarah killed PlasticFoods with ‘RickRoll’” or “You were killed by iFerg with ‘MantaRay’”. Also, sure wish you could use spaces and more than 14 letters.

Hear me out, Gentleman's Agreement should be the way it is it console and PC pro scene. Things that diminish competitive integrity should be banned and truly let's the best of the best rise. I'm not talking about banning things from your normal ranked and quickplay matches. Ban persistence, uav's, shock rc's, and similar things to let the best play on gun skill and strategy. Cod's best should be the best aimers and strategist, not relying on cheese to get wins.

What has changed in the game?

I've played Cod Mobile since the release and I'm used to finish every game in the top 3, make a lot of kills, and often as MVP, but with the season 10 everything changed: I'm struggling to finish in the top 3, my k/d ratio is falling, my SKS became useless.

Elite Controller not working on iPad Mini 6

When I pair to my iPad the app and everything says that the controller is connected; however when I go into a game it doesn't let me use the controller. Works on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, and in the lobby says that someone in my party has a controller connected. The iPad doesn't do this. Anyone have any idea what the fix is?

[HELP] Prevent skins from displaying ingame

Hey guys, I don't want to see skins in the game while playing, how do I prevent this? I've uninstalled Soldiers mod, but the battlepass skin always seem to re-appear. I even ticked "Ask Before Downloading" but CODM just seems to want to auto download this battlepass skin everytime I uninstall the soldiers mod.

I somehow always have 300MB worth of Soldiers downloaded.

This game is way more fun than I expected

Since I saw the trailer for this game about 2 years ago I was like “damn this seems quite impressive”. I thought that this game might prove to me that phone games are slowly evolving into something bigger. I know there were other games before this like Fortnite but this game caught my eye (nostalgia).

Idk why I put it off for so long but when I finally got a new phone that was actually not a few generations behind I have this game a shot.

Besides a few minor things like how I want to the game to fill up my monitor (it oddly shows borders both vertically and horizontally), I’m loving this game. I haven’t play COD since MW2 but damn it’s like almost the same experience. Idk why but I’ve been looking forward to playing this game at the EOD.

Yes the game is super easy online because you are playing with bots but once you get to ranked and are at the elite rank it gets super fun. Like it feels like their are actually good players when you get to that rank.

I was planning just to give this a go and be done for it for a day but I’m considering getting the battle pass. It’s so addicting!

I’m so pumped to be joining this community! I would love to try a game of zombies with some people in the community here.

Anyone sick of the same maps yet?

I swear in MP the only maps I ever get are Shipment, Nuketown and Firing Range, maybe Rust if i’m lucky. Why have like 25 different maps if you’re only going to get the same 3 constantly? 🤷🏻‍♂️ they need a map voting system or something in this game because with only 2 BR maps and constantly never getting any diversity in MP it’s becoming tedious and boring asf to play.

tell me when you were doing so good in competitive and then some enemy got lucky and got a kill streak. they turn the game and now the game is not based off of skill anymore but just how lucky you are with the enemies. And operator skills just pour gasoline onto an already burning fire where they can also easily change the course of the game very easily. I believe they need a nerf but i don't know how just give off some ideas

Unable to log in using CoD account

Recently, i opened cod mobile to play like every day, when I got into the log in screen it didn't auto login, so i clicked on the cod account to log in manually, but it lead me to the starting screen.

After the loading finished, i tried to log in again but that lead me to the starting screen again.

i tried multiple times, but i couldn't log in using my Cod account.

my play style is aggressive, but i noticed that i usually suffer in long range engagement due to recoil, range, etc. so, a gun that viable long range, decent medium, and shreds short would work.

i would love for some people to drop a recommendation since i only see really old posts that kind of help. if u do give multiple recommendations, a mini breakdown of each gun would be great+attachments

A little confusion with Damascus

So I just got the SVD golded, and got plat for it as well since I already had all the sniper rifles done except the NA45. The NA45 isn’t gold, yet I received plat for the snipers. Does this mean the NA45 is an exception for Damascus like back when Damascus was released?

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but what about removing killstreaks in Ranked?

I have played many other call of duties in the past and I know that killstreaks are a large part of why the game is fun for people. However, in ranked I feel like the gameplay experience could be a lot more competitive and strategic if all killstreaks were removed, maybe even operator skills, although those are much easier to deal with. I just feel like it would be a much better competitive game that way. Or maybe keep killstreaks to just being non-lethal killstreaks. Maybe I'm completely wrong and someone could give me reasons as to why they are important.

After 2 weeks of playing on Bluestacks, everything was fine until my acc got banned for a day. Damascus bug

In your own perspective or personal opinion, what's your whole stance on the sliding + jumping mechanic/meta, mixed in with snipers, shotguns, akimbo and melee players?

But I wanna read your take on this. It might seem like I'm a noob, and just decided to whine towards a subreddit but that's not the case here. I'm a level 145, been playing for a year and a half now. Games fun, but with these, and toxicity behavior for my legitimate reasons (i.e., The enemy were on their sniping nests, decided to take them out, then they called me out for it. Fun situation, not gonna lie, lmao.), It feels like... something else, y'know?

Don't get me wrong though, the toxicities had existed before CODM even existed, infact, it existed in... What, since the Xbox/PlayStation era? Yeah. But this whole thing just takes the cake.

Been playing...

... another milsim that starts with A, and it's really making me miss Warfare mode and mass battles.

I had some suggestions:

  • A full "Armoured Convoy" start on foot with divisions of the troops having vehicles of each type (mil spec only, no cars) and starting off in brigades

  • A timed attack/defend mode or a battle royal version of Hardpoint that moves around the map as you capture objectives

  • A domination mode where three zones are lit at once and fought over

  • Night battles

  • (mainly) Players vs Bots matches to capture the map step by step in an invasion mode: bots killed on the player side would allow players to join a match in progress from a queuing system

I was Banned?

I was banned on codmobile for logging in. last time I got banned after a match. I have been trying to appeal my ban via (https://support.activision.com/ban-appeal) but it says I'm not banned; and doesn't even attempt to look on codmobile to see if im banned? this is ridiculous that I have been banned now TWICE for nothing other then loggin on and playing a match. the game has gotten so big in size that I can't even play the damn game on mobile because of how big the file size is. the best part is that I don't even cheat or hack like half of the players on royal; and they don't get banned; yet I do for logging on. I've sent an email to the privacy support email, but have not gotten a response back. The whole method/system for appealing a ban is broken and the acctual support side of all of this is so jank :( i just want to go back to having fun with my bros and getting some wins

Cod mobile needs 2 step verification.

There needs to be a system to combat bot spam that happens in world chat. Activision should know better than to let the bot scammers keep stealing money from them anyways. It's not only hurting the community but hurts their profit as well. It'll do better if for everyone if these bots are gone and we actually be a community. Ii definitely don't enjoy seeing someone being scammed for their account being stolen. Of course that won't make bot spam completely disappear, but it'll be better than nothing.

I was playing this mode every time it came out. And it seems like each time it gets released, the time frame to play it becomes less and less. Season 10 update is full of bugs

Here's a little compilation of the bugs i've found so far:

1: Some devices can't see any other skins than their own even in high graphics

2: AGR's red dot scope 2 is missaligned

3: Codm may "download" yet again resources in some devices, wich "deletes" most of the maps. (Maps won't show up as downloaded even tho the weight is 0 mb making them unplayable)

4: New "P90" Mythic roullete's "X button" doesn't work when it pops out on your screen

5: Respawns are still broken (not a bug, but still surprisingly annoying)

6: Angle vision is still missaligned (Yet again, not a bug but it's been there for whole seasons)

7: Some devices that used to run on Mid and High graphics now don't even have the option of chosing, wich leads them to play on Low

8: Stanfield depending on the distance and the angle may show up looking bald

9: Stuttering sound may sometimes pop on ranked's screen animation

10: Some skins don't have the red shoulder lights, wich leads to confusion in MP matches

11: Realistic Scopes when enabled may not align the bullet trajectory when quickscoping.

That's all, at least for now. There's many other bugs i've found but i consider them funny and i don't want to point them out. Of course, those don't influence the game on a bad and/or meta way, most of them being menu/loadouts and in-game graphics bugs.

Does anyone else ever feel like they get long sessions where their bullets feel weaker?

I already know they pick your teammates based on if it’s time for you to lose or win.

But I have a conspiracy theory that the game will slightly nerf (or boost) your “hidden” stats based solely on if you’ve been winning or losing too much.

It’s a really fucking lazy way to make public matches “competitive”.

Not sure if anyone has had issues with controller use with mobile. But I need to know how to fix.

Okay so I started playing over a year ago. Really loved that I could use my dualshock 4 controller. I took a break for some time redownloaded the app connected my controller everything connected fine until I got into a match. My right stick is completely unresponsive my ⭕ is ❌ and my bumper buttons are unresponsive as well. I've reset data wifi and Bluetooth. Ive restarted my phone, I've trouble shooted as far as I can. Nothing works. My controller works just fine on other controller friendly games but COD..

Any tips for playing on a tablet?

I play on Xperia 5 ii but also have a galaxy Tab s7.

I've tried quite a few times over several hours on the tablet but here's my problems:

  • RSI (repetitive strain injury)
  • Aching joints in fingers and thumbs
  • Never finding the right HUD layout
  • Despite the extra space still cannot do 4 finger claw because of RSI
  • Heavy to hold for an extended period of time
  • Tried playing with it flat on a mouse pad on a table and stained my neck cos always looking down
  • Flat on table destroys my hand and finger coordination on the game. I have to physically hold the device. Using finger tips with hands hovering over the screen doesn't work for me.

Has anyone switched successfully from phone to tablet and have any tips on how to overcome the above problems?

Enemy not rendering in br

I just played Br and my teammate got knocked after jumping out of the building alone, I go to to check where the shots came from nobody insight. So I decided to goto pickup my teammates dog tags and instantly gets killed I was staring straight at them but they weren't there until I fully died then they popped up over my teammates box, they had no cover at all so I was super confused to how they were invisible

Is using an emulator allowed while playing CODM?

So I have been playing on mobile since like 2019 but recently I decided to try using BlueStacks on my laptop because I play games on my laptop and wanted to try it.

So I played I enjoyed it and started alternating between the phone and laptop whenever I felt like it.

Yesterday while I was planning on BlueStacks I finished a match and then suddenly I got banned for one day.

I thought it was ok to use an emulator because it specifically says
"Your team has an external device connected. You will be playing against players with external controllers.So if I'm not cheating why did I get banned?

TLDR: I thought emulators were allowed so why ban?

Also can I continue to use BlueStacks or will I get banned again.

Crashing issue with CoD mobile

I have been a big fan of the game since the very start. But unfortunately, there is a severe bug that makes progression physically impossible. Here's how it works. When I down loaded the game, I was running pretty smoothly. I had great Ping so I had a great gaming experience. But then after like a couple dozen matches, the game started to get laggy. My ping was still great, so it wasn't internet issues. Then it got BAD. So bad it would literally crash my game. It got more and more frequent, until I literally couldn't play the game as I suffered a cycle of extremely low fps (think like 0.2 fps), super slow movement, then freezing, and then getting booted out. And everytime I got kicked, it would always show me a popup of the google sign in screen that I used to log into the game. But when I selected my account on this "false sign-in popup", the popup would disappear and I was just stuck on my home screen. Please help. I physically cannot play the game at all.

Some more BR bugs I found today

  1. Lag and Frame drops are increased after mini update yesterday

  2. FHJ can't lock sometime, Distance was close but it wasn't locking, Not even showing green lock

  3. It shows the calling card of Player who looted the first drop but When I see in the map, I can't find that, Me and My friend both are having this problem, Some green drops I can see in map and some I can't, even if its not looted but Its visible by other teammates in map

  4. When we are in the plane and I am following my teammate and as soon as he drops from plane, Its show me I unfollowed him and my parachute opens automatically, but actually I was following him and when he reach at the place, I reach with him too but the whole time it shows me that I am in the air, not going anywhere

We should have coalition and allegiance operators system in loadout.

Think about it? You have a crap ton of operators but sadly you can only equip 10. So why not a guerilla and special forces operators system where price and makarov can't be on the same team (which would make sense) a system that splits the operators into legions or maybe multiple ones based on the map. Therefore you can utilize 20 operators instead of just 10. I know this probably won't be implemented but think about it.

Xbox one S controller not working fully. Has anyone managed to find a fix? I've spent hours trying with no luck and this is my first reddit post lol

I'm using an xbox one S controller and the Samsung galaxy S7 to play cod mobile. The controller connects to the tablet, cod recognises its connected but its only partially working in game. I can use every button except the triggers and the joysticks. I can crutch, jump, throw grenades but I cant move, ADS or shoot and I've got no idea why. I've tried resetting tablet, clearing cache, multiple controllers, playing with the settings in game etc. I've had this issue for a while, last night I randomly tried and it worked! 30 minutes later I'm back to the same issue and I've just purchased the battle pass. I'd appricate some help dudes. Thankyou.

4x scope

So i just started using the 4x scope, I'm not a sniper guy but today i picked up a m4lmg of a dead enemy and it had the 4x scope equipped, when my PDW ran out of ammo i switched to the m4lmg abd what a difference the 4x scope made i was hitting headshots from halfway across the map without even trying, now I'm hooked on the 4x scope I've put it on all my loadouts👍

but I got no answer, so I tried creating a new account using my facebook, the same thing happened, it leads back to the starting screen, even if I try to link the guest account that I made, it leads me back to the starting screen which shows the activision logo, and the same thing happen with trying to access suppport, trying to get into tutorial videos (like the cattle royal classes) and other things like that, I can play games normally but i can't log in into my accounts and I can only create guest accounts, so if anyone has a solution to this pls help me

Only able to see my own skin

Let's get this over quick. The issue is tmexactly that. I have downloaded litterally everything and everyone loos just fkn default. It's extremelly annoying. I want to know who i'm playing against and who killed me whit a 360 no scope just by looking at his skin, not the marker. I'm playing on a Redmi Note 9 on low graphics. Used to play on Mid at 60 fps but Activision or Timi or whoever is in charge decided that i'm not worthy of a HD experience, so i'm playing on low. The thing is: In the previous season i was able to see other people's skins on low too. I genuinelly don't know what's wrong and it's getting really infuriating. It's a little thing that doesn't affect the way i play the game, but seriously, i downloaded about 3gb of skins just to see the default? It's getting so troublesome i'm thinking of deleting the game until there's a fix to this.

Anyway knows how to fix this someway?

Umm devs any plans on fixing the reconnecting glitch?

I mean, it's been there for almost 4 seasons now.
It started in s6 and till now I am facing this issue.
Every time I play with my mobile data the bug does not kicks in, but as soon as I shift to my wifi it keeps on reconnecting me to the game, like every 5 secs or so.
Problem with mobile data is that it gives me around 50 ms-70 ms ping, and usually puts me at a point disadvantage in game.
I hope this comes to your attention cause I love playing the game and it's my favorite past time.
I don't want to quit so plz help
Also, if anyone has a solution for it plz tell me I would be grateful.
Plz upvote even if you don't have it so that it can come into the devs' observation.

Who thought that making something so stealthy and 1 hit was a good idea. Why doesn’t it’s icon look different in the map? Why does it take a whole mag to kill it?

Can someone just…*explain* cod lore to me?

I thought it was just tactical action gaem, but there are these weeb looking guys led by the five knights, I think? The comics don’t explain much at all, Ghost is somehow still alive, and there’s the coalition and the allegiance… I’m confused.

This message is for people saying that Call Of Duty Mobile is very Bad

For people saying that Call of Duty is very bad because it has unbalanced meta and persistence and overpowered melee and other non sense everywhere on yt, discord, reddit, CoDM chat and other places tell me one thing that why don't you just uninstall the game if you don't like it and install a game which has balanced guns no matter if it has only 2-3 guns, only one game mode and only bots. And also do you guys know how much time it takes to make a game? How much time it takes to make 1 map, how much time it takes to make a character, a gun with its other 50 attachments and 65 skins and all other things that this game has? Do you know how hard the dev team works daily? If you don't then how can you say that CoDM is trash and Devs are not working properly and all other things? And also all the content creator. What is the problem with you guys? If a new game releases why you put the title and thumbnail like "Better than CoDM" you can just say it like "Is it good" or something else. Now just go on any platform you have(like discord, YT, Reddit, etc.) and write a message thanking the Devs for their hard work and make their day better

BR shotgun players are the worst

Step one: practice sliding and jumping 29 hours a day (as if this is how soldiers dodge bullets in wars)

Step two: select ninja

Step three: creep up from behind, hide behind the door, or get your whole team to loot shotguns and storm in

(And if all that doesn't work, make sure to use the ninja hook to get close to others and then slide right and left then left and right then up and down then right then down again the up then left then in all 9 directions until your opponent feels like they're being preyed on by your average mosquito from somewhere around the tropics during breeding season)

Aand voila! You just took the life out of the match congratulations.

Note: I'm not a bad player nor a superior one. I just think that losing to a one-shot shotgun ninja camperbehind the door straight up kills the game, especially for two-thumbs layout players
