Can anyone explain to me what the hell happened to ranked?

I wasn't active during 2 previous seasons. The game was different. Much more fun, and people in rankeds were great (on legendary everybody was decent player). Now I came back and I don't understand what happened man. Curently on grandmaster, but these players seem to play codm for few days. Did anybody turn on knife mode only? It's a melee combat when I play SnD. People seem to camp so much more (literally sitting in corners). I wonder if it's just the new rank or what.

Fellow SoloQ players, how do you actually play hardpoint and dom?

After coming back from a year-break and grinding back to Master tier, its sad that nothing's changed when play HP and Dom, always the same frustrating bad teammates that sometimes I just prefer to quit and lose LP than waste my time playing with idiots.

At least bots on lower tiers knew to play objectives.

So, is there anything else I can do? Or just remove obj modes from my options and just leave S&D and TDM as my preferred game mode

HELP! Am I doing something wrong here?

For some reason when I get a Stealth Chopper killstreak, I never get any kills. I move the right analog on my controller to move it into position but the chopper doesn't move in to where I place the marker. How do I get the chopper to move in? It always sits on the edge of the map. I've seen in videos that there is an arrow. I never get this arrow, only a circle.

These are my suggestions on the current meta without completely destroying a weapon

Nerfs:

Quickfix - healing will be disturb by taking damage, and slows down regen by 15%

Persistence - any streak has a score higher than 1000 while using persistence is disabled

Hardline - only gives 15% from kills, but remains 25% for objectives

Mx9 - large caliber only increases range and by 15%, changes the sprint to fire CON replace it for a recoil decrease, default mx9 increase horizontal recoil by 10%

Holger - no stock has a 25% ads move speed, default ads speed is increased by 15% while reducing bullet spread by 5% and all ranges is reduced by 20%

Thermite & gas grenade - reduce movement only by 2%

shorty - increase hip spread and ads spread by 10%

swarm - increase the amount of score to 1500 and increase the time for the drone to lock-on target by 10%

sentry gun - increase the time to lock on target by 15%

ghost perk - remove the ability to be immune to high alert

kinetic armor - FMJ deals more damage to kinetic armor user

All melees - same consistency (swing speed, damage, range and etc.) as the knife

Buffs:

cold blooded - adds the ability to be immune to high alert and K9 units takes 10 seconds to scent the user

dead silence - callouts can only be heard by teammates

tac mask - immune to flash, stun grenades and gas grenades

flak jacket - reduce 35% damage from transform shield's radiation

agile reduces sprint to fire by 10%, instead of reduce ads after running

Increase ADS bullet spread by 20% - UL736, cordite, hvk-30, man-o-war, hades, HBRa3, ak-47, mw11 and bk57

Hvk-30 - increase first damage range to 30m

ICR-1 - increase first damage range to 20m

All LMGs (except holger and hades)- reduce flinch by 3%

All SMGs - sleight of hand increase to 18%

All ARs - reduce horizontal recoil by 6%

Does SND protect players from meta abusers more than Hardpoint and Domination?

Obviously it can't protect everyone totally, but as an SND main, I don't really feel that the MX9, the Holger, nor 'melee abusers' are oppressive enough to warrant the community outrage. To me, the NA-45 meta and the Fennec meta were significantly harder to deal with. This? Not so much. For reference, I only started around March with my primary weapon being the AS VAL ever since it came out and got to Legendary 4 times since then including this season.

I'm pretty happy that everyone is finally seeing how great the AS VAL is, but that doesn't stop me from using the KRM, the RUS, the QQ9, the M13, the Outlaw, and the Fennec at times when I feel like it. I wondered if my using the AS VAL made me a meta abuser myself, but I vividly remember a time when the general consensus on the AS VAL was 'it could be better.'

I was thinking about this, then I realized that I don't really play Hardpoint or Domination, so that might have contributed to why I was feeling that way. For example, the persistence perk is useless to me no matter how broken it is at the moment. I'm wondering if that's the same case with meta weapons. Because of how SND as a game mode is, does it make matches 'more fair' than the other game modes?

Finally putting Slight of Hand vs Fast Reload After Kill to rest

I did a screen recording which I didn’t bother editing and posting but I went frame by frame and you’ll have to take my word for it.

As an example, I used the MX9 with large caliber ammo.
-Without any perk, the reload is 1.8 seconds.
-With Slight of Hand reload became 1.5 seconds (certain instances it was 1.4 but only about 20% of the time. Could’ve been 1.45 they don’t show you past the first decimal)
-With Fast Reload After Kill it was 1.8 standard but fluctuated between 1.6 to 1.5 seconds to reload about 60/40% respectively. The effect lasts only 4 seconds after which it goes back to 1.8

TL;DR/Conclusion: slight of hand > fast reload after death even if you kill someone

Quick note: yes I know a grip can add a lot: ADS movement speed, sprint speed, or recoil control but after some testing I realized even the 40% horizontal 10% vertical grip difference is negligible, so unless you’re building a strafe machine and adding the ADS movement/movement speed grip, Slight of Hand can really help out using Large Caliber Ammo which is a 3 tap to the chest up to 13m and basically 1 shot less kill than hybrid ammo

What Tablet to get for CODM?

Hi
Ive been playing CODM on iPhone for some time and i like it very much.
I want to get a new Tablet for the sole purpose of playing CODM on it, but i need help deciding what Tablet to get.

I am leaning towards Samsung, but I can get an iPad 8gen for the same price as a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
There is also the Galaxy Tab A series wich are cheaper. I dont know what Samsung Tablets are able to run CODM smoothly.

Maybe someone who are playing CODM on Tablets can, by sharing their experience, help me decide?

I'm just really frustrated that games are so imbalanced like you have 3 options 1 multiplayer is basically practice vs ai with the ability to unlock camos 2 battle royale 95 percent bots shooting in the air till the end where that one level 150 tryhard Iferg wannabe named Ruthlessballsack lies camping on the edge of the safezone waiting for your inevitable doom. And 3 ranked get ready to be bored sure the fast pace is exiting but eventual getting killed from behind as your losing teams final deathcam for the umpteenth time in hackney yard starts to get old fast. And then come rank reset you have to do it all over again in the same goddamm maps hackney yard crash and of course standoff. Also take note next Time you play ranked that literally EVERY MVP has paid for the micro transactions hmm P2W anybody? It really makes me crave the somehow balanced choas of pubg mobile TDM where random real players of varied rank are thrown together to fight for their lives
Also the social aspect of this game is terrible just look at the chats its a bunch of legendary ranked gatekeepers trash talking anyone who dares interrupt their "elite player conversations" like literally after 2 months on this cod mobile profile I have like 4 friends after a day of pubg I had 30!!??? Ideal "nerf" to Persistance

Im playing this game since the first season 3. Trust me, before people were more skilled than they are now. Everyone rushed to get their scorestreaks and the game was much better than it is now. Im a Search and Destroy player and it can be boring because a lot of people camp. When i try to play respawns,i always go against hardline and persistance users sitting in the back of the map with their lmg's or meta guns. A lot of people asked for a persistance nerf and i do understand how they feel but there is no way to nerf persistance. They cant just triple the points required to get a scorestreak or disable it when used with Hardline. The best "nerf" would be changing the scorestreaks which can kill enemies, so there will be less scorestreaks spam and more gunfight.

Sorry for grammar problems btw

🟢Below are the scorestreaks which i dont think they require any score change
• Shield Turret (300 Points) - Can be used to get kills but it can be easily countered
• UAV (400 Points) - Pretty balanced scorestreak
• Hunter Killer Drone (500 Points) - Pretty balanced scorestreak. It kills only 1 enemy at a time and it can be countered by paying attention to the mini-map
• Care Package (550 Points) - It can give you pretty good scorestreaks but it can be destroyed and the enemy could steal it, so using it may be a disavantage sometimes
• Counter UAV (600 Points) - A pretty good scorestreak
• SAM Turret (660 Points) - A very good scorestreak after its buff
• Advanced UAV (1200 Points) - This scorestreak only reveals the enemy location and direction for a short time. Its pretty balanced in my oppinion because it doesnt kill enemies, you have to do it
• EMP System (1300 Points) - Balanced enough
• VTOL (1600 Points) - A pretty good scorestreak. It can be countered by Sam Turrets, FHJ and EMP Systems. Some people may say it requires a nerf but in my opinion its not that annoying

🟡Below are the scorestreaks which require a change, but not a score change
• Shock RC (450 Points) - It can be annoying but the player has to finish...

Xbox Controller Acting Funny For CoD Mobile Android

A couple of months ago everything worked fine but today when I tried to play cod mobile with an xbox one controller (wirelessly) the controller was acting funny. For example even when I'm not touching the controller my character randomly takes out grenades and starts throwing them, sometimes randomly shoots. And also I cannot turn the camera and the walk joystick sometimes works and sometimes it acts as the shoot button.
Any fix?

Hey everyone! Hope all of you are well. Wanted to create an invite for active COD Mobile players who were looking for a clan/want to join one. I feel like clans get a negative stigma for being “elitist” or something like that. However, we just want to create a solid clan for people that have fun playing the game. Meta: why it isn't the meta.

Probably one of my last posts here because due to the likelihood of Facebook cancelling me and me not having the ability right now to transfer, I'm probably going to get bumped back to my alt which I haven't touched since series one by accident. Hear me out anyway...

... I don't get the complaints about the meta. Yeah, some guns get you apparently phenomenally easy kills. But you ask any one player if they happen to use the meta, they'll normally reply no. I use a Holger. Hell I'll use a Holger like a sniper rifle. In a vehicle? I'll scrap that vehicle with it. Only recently, however did I ever try it in MP mode.

I straight up sucked with it. If I'm gonna kill anyone on MP with an LMG I gotta rock the RPD oldschool. And people will say "yeah the Mx9 is meta..." Well... I'm still using a RUS or a Fennec. Not bothered by it. And there ain't no mx9 or Holger players victimising me. I'd expect to get killed in BR by them more often but it isn't even happening there.

This tells me the meta ain't all that. I continue to use the guns that handle best for me and the operator skills that fit their style best. If someone's came at me with a Holger or MX9 I can't say I've noticed but if it was a M4 oh man I'll prioritise them lately.

So I neither fret nor do I worry about people using this "meta". I don't use it myself. It doesn't really have too much influence on me (but if something is definitely broken by an unnecessary buff I'll call it - see Fennecs, and I was using one.)

It begs the question: is the meta simply nothing more than a psychosomatic stumbling block for some codm players?

What's your take on it?

So since the undead siege returned, i have a lot of tips for new players(for hard mode)
  1. When its day time, do all the quest when dempsey says that energy coming from is strong(usually be to destroy the big crystal or to kill the butcher) do this task to get a lot of pedestals and mods than the airdrop. (if u are playing with ur frnds just send 2 to get airdrop and you and ur other frnds to do the quest
  2. Dont try to kill wardens with ur firearms, the most effective is to use your wrench (from day 1 to 2 only) u can kill them in two hits
  3. Kill the jellyfish(necromancer) because they give power to other zombies near by making ur damage to them very low
  4. First kill the necromancer then try to kill the heavy gunner, use an molotov and stun them then shoot them in the head as much as u can
  5. Shotguns and snipers are the most damaging guns in this mode. the best shotgun is the hs with 4 shots

  1. I would say that I have decent skills in MP and BR both, but nothing extraordinary like Narco or br0ken. I do well in ranked, and I reach Legendary in MP pretty easily. I can do quickscoping with snipers also.
  2. I have a good device, no lag in MP, just some frame drops in BR. I have access to video editing on mobile only though, because I do not have a good PC.
  3. I have experience with editing on mobile phones, and I think I will be able to do better with tutorials.
  4. I have 40 GB storage left in my device.

Question about opening crates

Hi everyone. I have a question regarding crates. A friend of mine were interested in a crate and they bought 70 of it. At top of the screen, the highest milestone shown is 100 (which is also the only milestone left), but there are too many epics which they haven't received yet. Will they receive all the epic rewards after buying 100 or will they miss out on some and need to buy more than 100 crates?

Hi guys, first of all sorry for my bad english, its not my first language.

I started cod mobile on day 1 and time to time i have bought some cod points too, in fact i have season 1 og ghost in my account. I was always log in with facebook, my activision account was never linked at first place but then i created one and linked to my account for rewards. Last year i want to take a break but when i come back i saw that somene changed my name, maxed my levels and playing my account like their account. I checked reddit and saw tons of hacked activision account threads. I checked my mail and there was 3 mails which (1 change password, 2 factor activated and 1 more change password) has nothing to do with me. Later i tried to reset my Activison accounts password but mail never came to my mail adres so i have researched a little more and find out they can change my mail adres (which is bizarre) . Then i send a very explaining and long ticket to support and they replied me in 24 hours which they said:

We are unable to process your request (Case Number 586346005) because your issue is not related to the purpose of the form.

So help me understand, this form is for account recovery, and tons of players lose their accounts because of your easy to hack system including me and this is not related about this ? Later i send this ticket in 27 th october and still got no reply ( its been 7 days while i posting this)

Someone hacked my activision account and changed my mail and password. I can connect game via my facebook. I have access my facebook login, my facebook accounts mail adres and my hacked accounts mail adres. I have 3 mails from activision, 2 of them saying my password is changed and 1 of them saying 2 factor is enabled, this is done by hacker. I have read tons of reddit pages like my situation and i need your help. I've been grinding ranked for several hours over the last 2 weeks. Was THREE points from master 5, been in protection since. Win 3 matches, get out of protection, lose ONE match, back in protection. Seriously?! WTF!!!!

Last 3 matches I played (lost of course). I had issues where my jump, slide and shoot buttons refused to respond when I encountered a certain player in those particular matches. Every single time I encountered them, I couldn't shoot, jump or slide. And of COURSE these players got 30+ kills in these matches. Thus had to be a hacker, cuz why else would my buttons stop responding whenever I encountered them. Like I could aim, ads, but no bullets fire.

Imo mx9 should be nerfed, and only TRASH players use it. Cuz it takes literally no skill other than aiming at someone to kill em. I just watched last 3 kill cams from last 3 lost matches. All mx9 users. Who just shoot randomly, NOT EVEN AIMING at the person they killed and won the match. Like just shooting for the fuck of it, and someone happened to run into them. Also, your SBMM is fucking TRASH! 6 matches in a row, I was ONLY master 4, rest were master 1 or 2. Against A FULL TEAM, of master 4-5. Really!!!!

Just like last season where it refused to let me get past pro 5. It's not letting me reach master 5. EVERY single time I get close (takes a shit ton of grinding), it pairs me with people that make the players I'm teamed with, as if WE'RE the bots.

Instant head shots, spawn kills yet no kill cam to show how or who killed you. Not even on the hud where it says who killed who. You just "die" no reason. But as long as it keeps you that much longer away from claiming a HP or Dom position.

Ranked has become almost impossible to play, from all the bugs, and literal trash cheaters. Those in legendary or had it since original 1-13th season, don't know how fucking hard or trash it is, getting reset to pro or elite ranks, to regain their legendary status. As they start off in master.

Why are we getting the P90?

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we are getting the regular P90, but it just makes no sense. We already have two weapons like it, the PDW-57 and the Cordite, so why do we need a third?

I feel like the PDW and Cordite are just gonna become even more forgotten than they already are, and unless the P90 is dogshit compared to those two weapons, it'll be the P90 everywhere.

There's nothing we can do about though, they are probably working on or finishing porting it over to CoDM, so whatever I guess. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Network traffic downloading and uploading to mainland china

I recently installed firewall hardware to my network and have noticed an unusually high amount of requests to download or upload to mainland china through *.codmwest.com I did an IP search and it does say Tencent, but why? Ive blocked all connections to suspicious countries and it’s made my gameplay faster, but now I have trouble logging onto the game. Anyone else know of this happening?

Ban Appeal

Hi my two accounts in codm was banned for no reason .I don't know the true cause though but my phone is a low end device and it is manufactured on 2017 just 1.5 gb ram (samsung galaxy j7) and the first account was banned because of this bug 10 years ban and I was grinding for locus diamond skin in free for all that time and my ping was very terrible too and I appealed for ban in the discord ban Appeal form and asked for support in twitter, facebook and support team meanwhile I started to play in another account. The second account , I have no idea but I was playing br blackout map and my phone went to black screen to the home screen then when I logged in again to codm after that I got 10 years banned 😭😭. So now I changed my device and I need my old account back cause I grinded for many skins for two years in that account and I also have paid skins as well. Iam a legit player .

Small bug I may have found while using the TAK-5

If you use the TAK-5 once or twice it bugs out so that it plays the low health heavy breathing audio and it doesn't stop until you die. It's not extremely annoying but it's still a bug I noticed (I couldn't screen record because I didn't have it set up, if I notice it happening again I'll attach proof)

Also, side note, can we please have the Advanced UAV in the credit store, it's been literally more than a year I've been waiting for it the whole time since I started playing and I couldn't grind it from the battle pass cause I wasn't playing at that time, it's not fair that people who grinded out the Advanced UAV have been able to use it for a whole year while we haven't had another chance to unlock it the whole time

Hi guys, I already have Damascus for most of the weapons and I just finished Swordfish and Thumper Gold and Plat, those were the last Main weapons that were missing gold and still no Damascus and also I have all the handguns and launchers with Gold and Plat. My guess is that there is a melee weapon requirement that I'm missing. (No gold for Bat, Shovel, Sickle, Wrench and Katana). Can you help with this?.

Hey, CODM dev team,

First time posting, Im not sure if im posting at the right place.. I love the game and the update. Im having a blast this season. Thank you for all your efforts.

However, there is a few things i would like to ask...

- The score-streak Napalm is going to be re-release in credit store tomorrow, but it is relatively new score-streak compared to emp system. Is there any plan to re-release any older score-streak / tactical equipment / operator skill / perk / br class? Or is there any plan to re-release any older score-streak / tactical equipment / operator skill / perk / br class according to their first release time in game?

- There are 2 (average, sometimes even 3) new score-streak / tactical equipment / operator skills / perk / br class been released each season, but there is only 1  new score-streak / tactical equipment / operator skills / perk / br class been re-released in credit store. It is kinda hard to newer player to catch up. Is there any plan to re-release more than 1 new score-streak / tactical equipment / operator skills / perk / br class in 1 season?

- Currently, we dont have reliable source to earn credits, except from daily mission and battle pass after tier 50. Problems with rewards in daily mission which gives you 50 credits a day is too less (compared items in credit store) and 50 credit per tier in battle pass after tier 50 is not free, if im not mistaken. So imagine a new and f2p player joined this game. He will be struggling to catch up with other og players and have full experience in game. My suggestion is to boost up the amount of credits rewards in daily mission, OR add a system where you can earn credits by playing the game, but you can only earn maybe like 500 credits or 1,000 credits a day so you cannot spam.

- and last but not least, just out of my curiousity, is there any plan to release skin for operator and score-streak?

How to deal with ghost touch?

I recently learnt 5 finger claw thanks to kith to improve my sniping. And I'm actually getting good at quick scopes which kinda felt impossible with 4 finger claw. About half of the time I just ghost touch and die to the enemy which is very frustrating as I'd have gotten the kill. Is there any way to deal with it? TIA :)
