... I'd like to thank the community for stomping on the myth that prejudice of any kind was tolerated in the old game, and that it's an excuse to act that way.
I will reiterate: dark humour and intelligent satire was commonplace, but if you were out and out prejudiced you were asking to be beaten down severely and kicked. Yes there was banter between Europeans but overt prejudice got you singled out for a lynching.
If you were crap at the game you got used as a rodeo clown. If you were good? We got the casual coders to make it look otherwise.
Most of these edgelords were screaming into the void during matches, nobody could be bothered listening to some 15 year old that lived in a caravan with his mum and dad moaning about how immigrants took his future job, they hate women and gay people, why a specific religion is evil, blahhhh blahhh blahhh...
... It's not funny so it isn't satire. Irony isn't something you use 24/7 in every statement you make. As for labelling old folk boomers I don't know these guys think that's an insult but act exactly like them.
Fact: 90% of the players using that as an excuse never played MW2 and when questioned don't even know basic game mechanics or the plotline. See - venerating Ghost, complaining about air support units and K9 (MW2 ones anyone? No? Not surprised you won't want them on your backside) I could go on... but age alone eliminates %80 of that 90%.
What's my point? Well, these whiny little flakes of Palahnuiks snow need to be shut down and shown that the community at large doesn't tolerate prejudice. I'm generation X, I'm the grumpy old man of the internet. Nothing you millenial crybabies or Gen z pups do can ever be right, right?
