Quick tip for BR

If your teammate(s) are on the revival flight you need to stay alive. That means play it safe, don't run around blindly.

Or if they're dead altogether, but watching.

Secondly, if they click, 'Enemy Spotted', or 'Watch your 6', it means there's somebody nearby that they've seen or heard that maybe you haven't. When you hear it multiple times because they're spamming that button, it's because you've clearly shown no signs of acknowledging the danger.

Open your eyes and ears, and pay attention! Your teammate mate try to help you while they're waiting, not everyone immediately quits out the game because they were downed.

Idea for br map.

Imagine a br map with the environment of a tropical rainforest. No classes . With animals both harmful like snakes lions etc which can act as butcher and helpful animals which can provide healing tools .
Lot of ambient sound with rain and thunder randomly .

And 1 sea map completely submerged in water. With breathing equipment attatched with armour which can be damaged. And some underground tunnels .

How do I recover a hacked account?

I used to play the game a lot for a year from season 1, but quit the game due to a lack of free time just after the fennec was released. I had signed into the game with an Activision account, my FB account and my Google account.
Today I came back to discover that I couldn't log into my old activision account anymore. I logged in through my FB account, only to discover that someone else had been using my account. I promptly changed my Google and FB account passwords, but noticed that my old activision account didnt exist anymore. Even after changing the passwords, the hacker was still able to access the game.
My hypothesis is that the hacker managed to change the linked activision account for another one, so my question is:
How do I unlink the activision account from my CODM account? Or is there something else I could do?

If you add back the classic mode of zombies into the game, can you please have the version of damned be the main menu or lobby theme for zombies please? And maybe new maps too for both zombie mode

With the release of the undead siege (which is an awesome gamemode btw), and as the old codm zombies be the classic, if it makes a comeback, have the damned theme from black ops be its lobby theme, or maybe have a codm remix of it.

Okay so let me know what I’m doing wrong because I haven’t been able to get a single one

As soon as I get 2500 aether essence (I think that’s what it’s called) I go to the vending machine and buy the gun. I get way more than 25 kills with my M4 and win the match. After the game I go back and check and I haven’t unlocked it. I’ve done this in at least 20 games now. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong.

I feel like they are trying to push Suldal Harbour in our faces.

Almost every match, for the past few days, I have gotten Suldal Harbour as one of the map voting options. Of course, it never got most voted in ANY of them. But it's always there. Always. My guess is that there is an algorithm which observes the amount of times in which a map loses, and also by how many votes. And so, it puts it into as many map voting polls as possible, to try to get people to vote for it. But that's just a theory, a game theory. But if this is the case, then it's pretty stupid. TiMi, if a map gets voted very few times, then you don't try to make us play it. You need to realise that CLEARLY no one likes that map, so you remove it from the ranked maps. Don't try and push it in every poll.

Petition to fix the "smash the aether crystal" line

During the undead seige mission to clear the infection source, you're supposed to kill all the zombies coming. But, the voice line says to smash the aether crystal, which makes some people think you have to hit the giant crystal with your wrench. In about half the games I play, there's always someone who thinks you have to actually smash the crystal, causing us to lose the mission.

I'm not really sure why the voice line says that, but I don't think it makes any sense to have it say that because what it says is not true, and leads many people to confusion. I was confused the first couple times I did the misssion too.

Should codm devs be praised/complimented for something they just copied from another cod game? (Read description)

For example, the ballistic shield has some details on it such as having "get rect" written on the shield when it is adsed. I've seen some comments on youtube going "the devs are so creative/funny" about this detail even though the shield is from BO4 and treyarch put those details there.
Another example, the AK47 Deep Tech has gotten a lot of compliments for having one of the best designs when the model is copied from a MW19 blueprint and the devs just put different colors on it.
Is praise directed to the devs for stuff like this still justified?

Not earning rewards from events.

I'm not getting some of my rewards from events. So I've been pretty much doing all the events to get the rewards /weapons but I'm on the final task for this season's sniper challenge where you have to win 3 multiplayer matches with any locus with 5 attachments equipped 3 times.

I've won about 9 multiplayer matches using the locus with 5 attachments including rapid fire and team death match and it hasn't counted even 1.

I've tried quitting the game and restarting it and my phone, removing all attachments and adding different ones and nothing. The only thing I haven't done is delete the game/data because that's time consuming.

Also two seasons ago I got the icr-1 nuclear retro camo but forgot to claim it and it disappeared. Is there any way to get it?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Why Not Put This On Switch?

And before the die hards start ranting, no no one is asking to build a cross play game with mobile to annoy the touch screen players so relax. Despite the fact you all play in a controller like sense anyway lol. But I'm just saying switch players have yet to get a cod game, clearly the newer ones would be too much for the console in terms of power as well as warzone. So why not just make a port of cod mobile for that platform? I'm aware it's not a cheap easy thing that can be done in a day but I really just don't understand why Activision hasn't moved on this, Switch is one of the most successful platforms of all time, they've made cod games for less successful platforms and the world swears Activision is greedy, but they ignore this platform. I just don't get it. The fact that they made a game for phones says they have no problem expanding to different platforms, what's keeping them from making this move or something similar? I really just don't get it

Quickscoping advice needed

Problems I face:

  1. I flick a little when I let go of r-fire button which causes me to 100% miss anything I was aiming at

  2. Being familiar and unfamiliar with my own sensitivity at the same time

  3. I always fail to aim for upper body

  4. I panic and don't let go of r-fire or don't press at all

  5. I don't know where to shoot when there's 2 people at once in front of me

  6. I don't know what to do in close range(plus the base melee is annoying af but can't turn it off)

I hope anyone who sees this can help me overcome these problems quickly so that I can quickscope like a normal person.

I'm just a returning player after a year of break, and I've just played a few normal matches myself with my controller for the first time and I must say, some people definitely have kbm movements as shown in their kill cams. Is this a known thing? I thought it was supposed to be "controllers vs controllers" "gameloop vs gameloop" unless you're partied up with mobile or other inputs. Are they both in the same server?

I was playing hardpoint when i realised the thermite is nothing but just... "smoke". A couple of days ago I was wondering why my operator was emitting smoke. It was just today I realised it's the thermite. They completely massacred my boy.

And also without any further notice they patched/bugged a lot of things. Like the crouching movement speed seems way lower than it used to. And when u reload while going prone u get stuck. Wtf is even happening?

3 things that needs to be done with the Legendary Ghost
  1. Improve some of the ui/ux of the skin.
  2. Recolor the lootbox to make it stand out from the default lootbox.
  3. Most importantly, put back its own voice along with its unique voicelines.

Knowing that there are still dislikes around the legendary Ghost (even though there are people who already likes what they saw) the devs sure needs to take action and improve Ghost Retribution asap in order for people to be at least satisfied about having it.

Is there a bug in the Sharpshooter seasonal event?

Like the title says I feel there might be a bug in this event? I'm trying to get the Rytec AMR and at the final task where you have to:

Win 3 multiplayer matches with Locus equipped with any 5 attachments.

I feel I have tried everything but the counter doesn't move. I mixed up the attachments. I tried changing to Locus right before the match ended. I tried using only the Locus and not switching weapons during the match. And then I thought maybe I need to make the winning kill with the Locus and not even that worked!!!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Matchmaking in ranked

Why is the match making so retarded, I mean for me personally every time I reach master 5, i get retards who team up with pro tier players teammates who decide to play against masters. Why does it happen??!!!
Ik I'm kinda pissed.
But its extremely annoying when this keeps happening, I carry the team and my teammates are either not even supporting the team nor playing objectively. What the hell is this shit!!
I can substantiate with evidence of me losing 3 matches in a row then dropping to master 4 and then reaching master 5 and then getting team games. Why does this bullshit happen, fix your game.

Minimizing FPS drop solution (Android)

I've been struggling with fps drop in BR this season and after trying multiple solutions, configs, game boosters this is the best i have came out with for low/mid end devices

1.Game driver preference (most important)
Enable the game driver from developer options to the game, my device has three options (game driver/system graphic driver/driver) i have tried 3 of them, the one the gives me the smoothest gameplay with lowest fps drop is game driver.

2. Battery high performance
There's an option to set your battery to high performance from settings it consumes more battery but helps reducing fps drop, it's not that effective but will help abit.

3. Game booster
They won't really boost your performance but it will shut down the background activities on your device that will allow your device to free some of the ram for the game.

I hope this helps because i was struggling with fps for 2 weeks now and i know how annoying it is :)

Outlaw change.

(Unpopular oppinion) Since the outlaw is more marksman than sniper in my opinion. They should replace the default scope with iron sights and slightly nerf damage then put it the marksman category because the outlaw is far from the meta snipers like locus and artic 50.

i think its time we get mountable grenade launchers

i think we should get them, so here is my idea:

when you equip a grenade launcher on a gun (like gp 25 on the ak47) your lethals should be wiped out and there should only be 2 options in lethal: normal grenade and incendiary grenade. you can select one of these to use with your grenade launcher (you get 1 reserve shell if you use shrapnel) (tactical will remain the same)

Defender NERF?

The meta right now is fast (yeah it got a bit slower due to the snowboard nerf, but still). It is too easy to close the distance against an enemy which is why defender class is OP imo especially if partnered with a shotgun or an smg. You don't even need to have an AR or Sniper for medium-long range engagements since all you need to do is just close the gap, pop the defender class, kill the enemy, and wait for it to cooldown. Please don't downvote me for this, I'm just curious what the majority of players think. In fact I also abuse this strat lol.

Someone just completed the daytime missions in like 3 seconds

So I was playing zombies, we went to the daytime missions, we made no progress on them initially, but suddenly, one of my teammates did something that made the health of the crystal and the big zombie go down in like 3 seconds (he did it at both daytime missions)

I didn't see what he did exactly, because I wasn't looking at him when did it..

Was he using some sort of glitch? Or is there some method to do this? Or was he maybe hacking?

Diamond Camo bug

Iirc the season 6 update allowed it so that even foreign attachments on diamond guns gets covered with gold, It was fine during the first week of the update and the gold was covering the attachments, however, I've noticed my diamond camos don't seem to cover the inserted attachments with gold, I remember having a small 40-70mb update before this happened, am I the only one experiencing this?

Is it only me that thinks the bundles in COD:M is complete trash?

The last time I bought a bundle in the store was for Rambo, don’t get me wrong though. For the price, i was still unsure buying the bundle. Thats probably due to so many that are mainly trash or subpar at best, which made it more of a appealing purchase to make.

But overall the bundles are lacklaster, half of them look worst compared to the F2P rewards. Most of the ‘Good’ ones I still put it up in my ‘Subpar’ tier list, it seems more like the bundle that is more up to par on what I consider being purchasable comes once per 3 to 4 months, it’s brutal.

I enjoy playing COD:M a lot, it’s Free2Play model of course needs to be supported in someway shape or form. but as a customer, how am I supposing to do that? with my take on Bundles, not purchasing any crates since 2019 because I’m done giving my money to products that do not have any transparent pricing.

I’m clearly not the only one with this problem either, on August 10, 2021 Congress of the United States. Sent a letter to 12 of the biggest publishers, including Activision CEO Bobby Kotick topic surrounding loot crates, or gambling.

Since I love playing this game, I really do not mind being involved financially either. But as a customer how am I supposing to do that? We have Luckydraws but that can only go so far, when the total price of them are 150$.

99% of the time I’d only do my 1-2 draws with the occasional 3rd pull, but then you’d have them add a sick emote when you check the odds of each item they’ll still bury something along those lines on the 6-7 draw. Financially it doesn’t makes zero sense to pay 30$+ for a emote or anything that is eye catching to you personally when they bury them in the odds deeply. Which only results in favouring the customers that go in knowing they are ready to pay for the entire luckydraw.

But this time ? Never download any of the packs even when it asks you to do so ..

Ima br main and my frames have improved significantly because of this .. sure everyone looks like a bot but I’ll take that any day over the game skipping n freezing every 5 seconds

Is the 1 year veteran frame rare?

I wanted to use a rare avatar frame. I was thinking besides Season 1 legendary frame that the 1 year vet frame was the rarest. Last year on the anniversary there were 2 frames. 1 is the anniversary frame with the CODM logo at the top and it's mainly pink in color. The other is the 1 year veteran frame with the CODM logo at the bottom, this is more purple than anything. Just clarifying that they didn't give everyone the veteran frame along with the anniversary frame. I was under the impression only guys who started on the original Season 1 in 2019 got the veteran frame. Thanks in advance if anyone has confirmation.

PS. In your frame selection screen both frames will be next to each other so that's how you can tell if you have 1 or both.

Rytec AMR

So has anyone else had trouble with the last challenge on the Rytec AMR quest? I’ve won 3 matches with any locus equipped with 5 attachments and it keeps saying that I haven’t won a single match. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I’ll have a picture of the gun I’m using and the attachments on it just for reference.

Is anyone else having a hard time winning matches?

I believe I'm an okay player, I'm the MVP in most of the matches I play, and I always play the objective while trying to balance it out with kills. I noticed that I've lost a lot of ranked matches, and it's like the enemy team just ups their game 5 minutes in. I noticed that sometimes players don't load, but that might just be a "me problem". Sometimes the bullets seem to just go through the opponents, which has cost me a few games. Anyone else having a bad time winning as well?

I don't know I'm getting shadowbanned when I'm trying to upload this glitch but the Airborne class is bugged. The wingsuit stops functioning while you're in the air for some seconds. It happens every time I'm using Airborne and especially when it's upgraded. Also the game has started freezing in the middle of the gunfights both in MP and BR.

Help Wanted

Even thought this month has Undead Siege going on and everyone’s been having a ton of fun, i haven’t been so lucky. I’ve been very busy this whole month and haven’t been able to grind the Battle Pass and the Undead Siege event like i normally would be. I’ve already bought the Battle Pass but am only on tier 10 as of now, and will not be able to complete it before the season is over. As for zombies, i have no aether camos, and am only tier 17. So basically, I’m looking for somebody trustworthy who i can give my login info to max out (or just grind as much as they can) both of these things. Preferably I’d like for you to have already completed your Battle Pass and such as I don’t wish for to complete my Battle Pass and still haven’t completed your own. You can change the HUD as you please, create a loadout, whatever is comfortable for you, I just need this to be done before the seasons’s end. The game is unplayable for me; see you guys next season.

Issues that I am facing, this season:

• Random ping increase (Frequency: Medium)
• Late kill registering (Frequency: Medium - High)
• Relatively unresponsive buttons
• Quite sluggish UI

Note that my device has Snapdragon 732G, 6GBs of RAM, and ample disk space, with good internet connectivity.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm facing these problems too often for the game to remain fun anymore. So, I will check out for now and return next season.

Yesterday i got double nukes in a ranked match and i got reported by the whole opponent team for cheating

Yesterday i was pushing up my rank and in a match, i got 2 nukes. The enemies could not bear that and they decided to report me for hacking even though i did nothing. Codm imposed a ban on me for 1 day. Please it's a request don't report genuine and honest players, codm doesn't even researches before banning anyone.

Developers need to treat pay to play player better

f2p have too much good skins so debs should give less epic skins to f2p and give better bundles to those who actually supports the game. Legendary/mythic guns should be p2w like increased damage and aim bot iron sight, it shouldn’t able to be picked up by f2p (because we paid lots of money) we should be able to pay to have more ranked point or just buy rkd points. All p2p have life so all compeletionist camos should be able to get through paying rather than lifeless grinding

Deep Tech Flashbang is pay-to-win

The water noises stays for 10+ seconds AFTER the initial flash effect has subsided. It's extremely loud and makes you unable to hear anything else unlike with the regular flashbang where you can still hear things beside the tiiiiing noise. I have it and it's not fair to play against. They need to tune down the volume or just change the noise to the normal flashbang.

Need to win the match for dark aether??

I'm pretty new to the dark aether grind because I had a bit of a break over the last couple of week. I was wondering for the dark aether grind, do you need to win all 6 of the matches to get dark aether, or do you only need to win 1 game and just not quite for the rest of the matches? My QXR is at 2/6 although I only got 1 win so far so I'm assuming I just need finish the games with the required kills to get the camo.

Anyone else unable to unlock the Rytec? I’ve won’t at least 6-7 MP games with a Locus (5 attachments) but it hasn’t counted any and sits at 0-3.

I’ve made sure to have it equipped at the end of the match. I thought maybe the Green Cosmos skin was bugged so played with default.
I’ve made sure to get anywhere from some to all of my kills with it (not usually a sniper). I even saw a JHC video in which he said you could just run around and melee your kills and it would count….

I’m out of ideas on what I could be doing wrong.

Recently, a lot of players have been banned. I got banned today. This is not fair because I am a completely honest player. I have been playing for a long time and always at the highest level.

I do streams and just buy a camera to make a handcam from a stream to prove to everyone.

Activision took my money and blocked the account. I sent them such a message (I am posting it below) and I am waiting for their reply.

1 shot areas with 30-30 ammo attachment:

This gun is the best sniper/marksman in the game rn

•Fastest possible ads speed at 18f (300ms) without 30-30) (spr is 2nd at 19f)
•Fires faster than most bolt actions (except kar98 and outlaw)
•Better hitboxes than dlq till 25m
•Dlq hitboxes till 55m
•Has 13f ads (216ms) with full ads stack and 30-30 rounds

In summary, this is a better spr .300 in every way except the scopes have ads speed penalties

I wanted to do some testing 'cause for some reason the 1mW laser just didn't felt right. As yoy can see here i'm using renetti with 27 round mag and sleight of hand and, of course, the lasers. The 5mW seems to increase Hipfire accuracy more than 1mW

UI noise

Since the new update i have had UI type noises when i jump, slide, reload etc (really annoying when you jump/slide 100000 times a second).
I know you can turn the UI volume down but that defeats the purpose if it is a 'feature'.
Is anyone having this issue?

Also, a good few epic skins are not showing in game (back packs, grenades etc) most epics are acquired by paying in CP; CP = £$€.

Can the devs address these problems sooner rather than later!

Im currently grinding for long range right now. As im know the long range only register IF you hit a headshot. But i need to quicker way to do that since explosion doesn't count as long range. And i will quit using NA-45 for good since it been nightmare to grind long range.

Auto shotguns and long shots. How to?

I am trying to get all gold camos. For auto shotguns it's really hard to land a long shot. And the slugs are horribly underpowered. How to mitigate this? Can't seem to get echo and striker to get long shots at all. All other shotguns are gold.

BR: Smoke bomber no longer slows enemies in the smoke.

Tested this with a buddy in a BR room. Ran a few BR games as well, it looks like the Smoke Bomber bomb no longer slows enemies in your smoke.

The class description still says that your smoke slows enemies inside of it.

Please look into this and either change the description or fix the slow bug.

Players and now running directly out of smoke bombs with no issues.

codm devs, this game is on UDP or TCP connection?

i got curious, years of gaming since childhood and i think codm is based on UDP which is good in fast paced gaming but also introduce a desync issue where players can be seen teleporting, stuttering movement or abnormal movement and also vulnerable to hacking like speed hack, super jump and etc.

TCP in other hand, very good for slow paced game because it requires validation which means less funky movement because you will be seen to move as you should but that would increase latency. and also secure because you can't modify/tempering the data without external tools.

though, it would still possible to be tempered on TCP but harder means less easier to get hacked right? but at least it would solve the funky movement and desync issue.

so codm devs, UDP or TCP?

I used to be pretty good at this game, but around stage 3 of the 2020 championship I took a long break, I came back 2 months ago, and my skill got noticeably worse and it hasn't got any better no matter what I try, can anyone help?

Anyone knows why the sensitivity for each gun feels different?

Been experiencing this for a while now, but wanting to start training my sniper and realise that the feel is so different between different guns, eg. For locus I need to move my thumb a little for me to turn 90 degrees while on dlq I need to swiper across my entire screen. Anyone knows why? Both do not have scope attached so both are default sniper scopes, the stat that I found most different is control where locus is 29 and dlq is 80. Is that the reason why? I always thought control is for recoil.

Recently the reports of accounts being hacked/stolen have been rising up quite a lot.
I have seen it being brought up in this subreddit as well.
I am genuinely curious,as to how exactly do these people get their accounts hacked?
How do the hackers even get the credentials for accounts of other users?
How do hackers find and target specific accounts?

Sharpshooter event last quest problem

Hi
Just doing the tasks of sharpshooter event and reached the last task :

Win 3 MP matches with any locus and any 5 attachments

Winning matches with those conditions doesn't increase the counter and it always stuck on 0/3

Anybody has same problem? Did activision said anything about that?

When I play br my cod keeps slowing down then going back to normal speed and it only happens when my brightness dims on its own (adaptive brightness is off) and it's only started to happen since they brought zombies out cuz when I played zombies that's when it started to do that. Can anyone else clarify this so I know it's not just my game

I have a problem with this game

I’m at master V and this bug in the game is not letting me have legendary, if you ADS and hold the fire button with your thumb a little low, you can’t look down while your shooting which means if players are dropshotting, your dead on the spot, if no one from the dev community sees this, I’m indefinitely stating CoDM is a buggy game that no one should play, and maybe play Valorant Mobile, (this post is not a hate post but instead talking about the bug)

Sharpshooter Seasonal event - did I break mine?

I am not sure what I a doing wrong, but I cannot complete the Sharpshooter seasonal event. I have won a few MP matches with the Locus equipped. I have 5 attachments. I tried swapping a perk out since that might not be considered an "attachment" somehow, possibly? I am not sure what I am missing, as this requirement seems pretty simple. Last task of the last seasonal event for me, and I am stumped. Any ideas? Current attachments are RTC Compensator muzzle, YKM Standard barrel, RTC Ready Stock, OWC stopping power reload ammo, and granulated grip tape. I have camo, a charm, and stickers as well.

What is the current price of battle pass on iOS?

In India With offer. You know that everytime at the end of a season we get a limited time deal when we can buy battle pass without buying cp, but through an in app purchase, and it's cheaper. Maybe 30% cheaper, idk. I have android, and the price of battle pass is Rs. 159. It's after limited time deal. Normally it would be Rs. 220, with CP system.

What's the price for IOS users in this limited time deal? I seen a post where it said the price will go up for play store users. I wanted to buy BP next season, because I haven't tiered up this season, but if the prices will increase next season, then I'll buy the BP now and will do the grind for 50 tiers.
