For those who still have not got the update, here's how to do it.
  1. Uninstall the game
  2. Download the game from apk pure, which has the version 1.0.24, https://m.apkpure.com/call-of-duty-mobile/com.activision.callofduty.shooter
  3. Let it download resources, boom, season 5.

I also didn't receive the update, but I saw somewhere that 1.0.24 version has got it, so I uninstalled my 1.0.25 version, installed the 1.0.24 version, and it auto updated to season 5. I think you can still update from google play if you get a new update, as it is the official file only.

I know some of you are on data, but I'd rather update than wait for god knows how fucking long. Stay safe.

This game is straight up just MW Mobile.

How is it this entire season is Ghosts themed yet the only actual pieces of content from Ghosts are Riley, Rorke and Merrick???? HOW can this happen? How is it this supposedly Ghosts-themed season is only actually very loosely related to Ghosts? How are BOTH guns from MW? How, in the year of our lord 2021, are all three maps not from Ghosts? You devs literally did the bare minimum and passed this season off as a Ghosts season.
You see, when you develop a game that intentionally tries to celebrate a franchise by including content from every game in said franchise, you're supposed to keep that up the whole time. Now this game is literally, undeniably, MW Mobile. Every gun for the last 4 seasons has been from MW. YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH THIS.

I was so genuinely excited when it was revealed this season would be heavily themed arouns ghosts...I was. I was happy.
Yet it isn't. There is- for a FACT -more content from MW2019 than there is anything from Ghosts..Not even a single fucking gun this season from Ghosts. Not even the Remington R5. Or the SVU-AS. Or the Ameli. Hey, they wanted to add another shotgun or pistol, so...why not take one of both from Ghosts? Imagine a season with the MTS-255 and MP443 Grach. Or a season with the Lynx and Remington R5. Or, you know, anything besides the s i n g l e Ghosts gun we have.

But no, as always...the generic 'le epic mw2019' guns are what we get. We get MW maps. We get MW skins. This game just isn't the same anymore. Quite literally. Remember when we got content from ALL CoDs? Not just the same one over and over?

Switching from 2-finger to 6-finger on iPad

Started CoDM a month ago on my ipad. I used 2-finger (actually 2 thumbs) as it was the natural way to play.

As I played more ranked games, I realized I am not that good compared to others.

So today I practiced 6-finger setup in AI practice after looking up YouTube.

Finding it very difficult right now to adapt. Is 6-finger the right choice to improve performance?

Any suggestions?

Does anyone know why did the season BP changed if it still said I had 2 days left?

This is the third time in a row this happens to me, the game says I have more or at least a day left until the season ends, and suddenly the season changes.

My problem here is that I invested money in a second account, but since I had to grind a lot in my main account I couldn't level up my BP in the second account, so, the BP still said I had 2 days left and I was still at level 43 but as soon as midnight came, the BP changed.

Does anyone know why? As far as I can remember, the BP changed at 6 or 7 P.M. Also, it changed after seasonal challenges disappeared, but this time it didn't.

Problems with the game

Hey I live in french west indies and had a huge problème with my game , I tried to contact activision in France since it happened to me but didn't get any answers yet .Two day ago ago I was playing like always and progressed quite a bit , in my battlepass page it was written that the season would end two days later (it was on the 27) , I was pretty cool about it and was like okay I'll do it in a few hours . At 3am yesterday I opened up the game , I saw the update and saw the new season, I was and I'm still a lot pissed off about ...... now I ended up with only 250 cp .When it say in two days it's in two days not in a few hours . Where I'm supposed to reach for the support service ? We cannot contact like we used two the support team via the game and it's quite a pain to log in on the avtivision website...... AMAX buff

I can't be the only one who thinks that the AMAX needs a good buff to it's bsa. I was so hyped for this gun, but it's just underwhelming. The bsa is so trash that I'm convinced you could shoot around corners with this thing if you wanted to. Also the multipliers are just weird.

Falsely Banned Today for 10 Years

Please help..i have been playing codm from a long time...and suddenly i saw today my account has been banned for 10 years that too for no reason ?  I have a youtube channel and i have literally spent around 5000usd on Crates,draws,etc its a very expensive account! AMAX review

To be honest AMAX is pretty... avarage

First I'm gonna talk about TTK. It kills in:

  • 4 shots to 14m,
  • 5 shots to 27m,
  • 7 shots to infinity.
    Combined with this damage and firerate of 710 RPM it gives us:
  • 253 MS TTK to 14m,
  • 338 MS TTK to 27m,
  • 422 MS TTK to infinity
    TTK is on the faster side. Range on the other hand doesn't feel like it belongs to an AR.

Now, the recoil.
Recoil is very good on this gun. It kicks a little bit to the left, then slowly changes direction to the right. It isn't even high. I feel like most of the players could control it.

Mobility
I didn't test mobility yet but it feels like your avarage AR. Nice ADS speed, mediocre strafing speed, fine sprint speed. Nothing too crazy.

Now, there is 1 very special thing about this gun. DMR conversion kit

M67 ammo:
It makes your gun to be a DMR. You get semi auto mode, bigger damage, bigger range and slower mobility. Range extends by 100%, so that means you can 1 tap to the head to 28m. It works just like SKS (except there is more limited range).

Now, let's get to the builds

This is my all around build. Perfect for ranked. Mono suppressor gives you extended range and sound suppression so you can stay off radar and have better lethality at range. Tracker stock gives you more ADS speed and strafing speed while not having big penalities. Gran tape improves your BSA, tac laser not only does that, but also gives you more ADS speed and ext mags are just a personal preference since I don't run vulture for ranked.

This is a good aggressive build. You get very little BSA but who cares about BSA in CQB anyway. Gran tape is switched to intruder stock (?) to improve ADS speed and strafing speed. Use it in tight spaces.

This is a max range build. This time we ain't sacrificing BSA, but mobility. The only thing that keeps it good is no stock. Without it, this build would've been unusable everywhere.

Google login issue.

I have been playing CODM since it came out, there was never an issue with Google login. When I downloaded it today after a long time, I can't login with Google. I have a Poco X3 NFC, i know its not the best but jesus christ, my fps is dropping to 15 sometimes what is this???????? I play on low settings at max fps, no my phone isn't overheating, its almost impossible to play. Is it not enough this mode being boring as hell? I have to play with this huge fps drops too...

Can we all agree that season 5 is one of the worst seasons yet?

I've been having a horrible experience with season 5 so far. No new streak? Another mediocre Modern Warfare Assualt Rifle? Seriously they're just milking MW content at this point. Why couldn't we get the BO1 Galil instead? The worst part about this update is that we're getting two of the worst made, least iconic multiplayer maps from MW. Two more maps that will never get added to the ranked rotation and will be filled with bots in the 24/7 playlist a week later when all the mobile players realise how shit these maps are. Why couldn't we get a map like slums or jungle and a gun like the M8 or AN?

Charge almost R$ 25.00 for a battlepass. Mobile gaming at it’s finest.

This game is ridiculous. I’m a COD Ghosts fan and I just wanted my boi Rorke, this would be the first battlepass i’ve ever considered buying, but then, bam. Almost R$ 25 (my country’s currency) for a bunch of skins, most of which AREN’T EVEN PART OF THE ORIGINAL GAME, they didn’t even put the actual Rorke in, they put some fanfic badassified version and got done with it. The only reason I could even recognize the character was by his facial expression (which makes me laugh, in a good way).

CODM stream crashing

I’ve recently been messing around streaming some CODM gameplay on Twitch using StreamLabs but keep having the same issue when streaming from my iPhone. It will be fine for the first half an hour and then the stream will crash with an error message that says it attempted to start an invalid broadcast session. Does anyone know how I fix this? No updates pending or apps working in the background and CODM never crashes if I’m not streaming. Thanks!

K9 unit is trash

Is really underpowered right now. It has a gigantic charging time, slow spawn, small time active and worst of all, the dog is slow as hell, if the enemy isn't standing still it will never catch him and wich doesn'thelp when he targets a random bot half a mile away instead of the guy shooting you right in front of he. The dog should be lighting fast to compensate the low hp, and don't get time consumed by his kills. And as a side note I think it shouldn't die when you die, I understand why it happens (balance mostly) but if it focused on the guy that killed you for a small window of time before it disappears would make this thing better.

I play casually on PC via Bluestacks emulator. I like the game, but this really makes me want to quit, it's unfair on a whole new level. Other players get to hit you with their guns but you just can't.

It seems to me a competent weapon, in the short range it can lose, in the extremely long distance it loses effectiveness, but it is in the middle trait where it stands out. With a proper construction it will do the job, weapons like the lk or the m4 will gain stability, this will compensate with good damage for its class, in short, the cr-56 is a chilote horse, beautiful but with a donkey kick.

more specific hipfire/ads setting?

would be great to have a specific hipfire or ads setting for specific weapons instead of weapon types,cause sometimes theres guns that some people are more used to adsing,and some to hipfire,sometimes different gun loadouts that turn an assault rifle in to a semi auto gun,i wouldnt want my semi auto as val to be hipfiring and have to change assault rifles to ads everytime i use it.thanks :D

Just need to vent

All the way up to legendary I was always top 3 player in the team had a KD of 2.5 and once I hit legendary I suck. Most matches I go negative KD badly, none of my shots hit and I feel like I get 1shot killed all the time. This game is supposed to be fun but then I constantly lose and bottom frag once I hit legendary- guess its true bit everyone shouldn't be legendary. Just frustrating I slay right up until I hit it.
Sorry just need to vent.

Hey I’ve been seeing a lot of players searching for a team for wc stage 2 and so to help more players find a team we’ve created a system on our discord server to hopefully help some solo players find a team

How it works

join the server
post your ranked stats in the region
our staff will help organise players into groups of 5 depending on their rank/stats
coordinate with those players and try to find a common time to play
if a players is inactive / not suitable let us know and we will help make changes

[Note : you don’t need to join our clan for this (unless of course you want to ) this is just to help out solo players looking for a team ]

prestige, zombie mode back and diamond camouflage

I know that this topic has already been talked about but I really believe that they should put the prestige as in all the other cod, they are a good way to hook people to vice in the game since it encourages you to achieve the highest level, such as An example could make it not only 10 prestige if not take all the cods and make it many more (as they did in gears of war, in 3 there were 4, in 4 there were 20 and now in 5 there are 50 prestige / realizations with increasingly better rewards) and that each prestige had 150 levels because I doubt very much that it is the only one who misses those game mechanics

Zombies

I like to play zombies and although it is true that in the cod mobile they had them very badly done and even forgotten, it was fun to play some games of the respective game mode, I do not know why they have not made the decision to put them in operation again if I have seen several people wanting them back, this is only an opinion but to bring them back with more maps and not just one, maps that people like from previous installments and even with an easter egg (being honest the easter egg of the map that had been a joke), with camouflages for challenges like they did with multiplayer (which by the way between the camouflages and business cards were taking a long time) camouflages up to dark matter type to complete them, I think it would not be a bad idea to invest a little with the zombies since I doubt that they will not do it due to lack of budget because those roulette wheels move like hot cakes

Diamond camouflage

Let's start with one thing and it is that it really seems ridiculous to me that they have used the damascus camouflage as a reward for killing their heads by removing all the weapons camouflage, obviously it is normal that the much loved dark matter was not used since they took out paid weapons with that camouflage but at least they would have put another camouflage (animated and / or reactive) as a reward for that "achievement", now it is obvious that they are not going ...

Damascus Unlocked?

Finally unlocked gold camos on all of my weapons, primary and secondary but there's a problem.

Damascus hasn't unlocked for -
LMG - Holger 26
Marksman - SKS, SPR, MK2
Melee - Sickle

And for SKS, even Platinum hasn't unlocked.

Is this a bug or what, please help.

AMAX needs a buff ASAP

Hi Devs,

Having so many ARs with high mobility, accuracy and damage, AMAX falls at the bottom of the list with respect to every aspect.

It neither has good mobility on the base build nor it has a good damage spectrum at medium and long ranges. An AR is supposed to be a good at long ranges with a nice TTK and decent mobility. AMAX feels nothing of that sort. Infact AMAX feels like a LMG. The mobility including ADS, damage range and TTK is so bad that it is easy to trash the gun and not use it again after maxing it out.

Please , if you are listening , buff it ASAP , so that we dont have to keep using the same old guns to win matches.

I was so exicted for the AMAX, but the gun in Multiplayer is literally trash. Please fix it

Please for the love of god nerf shotguns and thermites

As a garena player, I am losing my sanity playing against these players that throw nonstop thermites and use shotgun every damn game. Thermites are way too powerful and have been for a while. Shotguns are so god damn annoying. It’s actually so hard to complete camo challenges due to all the shotgun users on garena. Players are able to one shot people at ranges that don’t even make sense. I often get one shotted by shotguns the moment I spawn on shipment. These two things are really making this game unplayable (for garena at least because I heard there are barely any shotgun players on global).

Lost account don’t know what to do. Need advice

So a couple of weeks ago, I got an email that said my account email was changed (even though I didn’t do anything). I followed Activisions instructions and created a new account and submitted an account recovery request. The only game I really play on that Activision account is Call of Duty Mobile and I can still play on my account since it’s connected to my FB and that’s what I use to log in but obviously I would like my account back and I know that at any moment I could lose all my progress.

It’s been nearly three weeks since I sent in my request. It said it would take up to 72 hours. Haven’t heard anything from them and I also how zero way to follow up and contact them regarding my account. I’m not that annoyed if I lose my account, but I am worried about the personal information that is on my account, so I would love to get it back. Really not sure what to do. It’s clearly a hacker using some temporary email because the email is just random letters and numbers as I was able to see what it was.

Starting to lose hope… do I just jump ship and start progressing on a new account?

If anyone has any advice on how to contact Activision that would be helpful. I can’t seem to find chat support and I know that they don’t answer through twitter anymore…. ):

MP Random set-up idea

Everyone has their ‘go-to’ weapon set-up for different modes, maps, playing styles etc.

For even more (than the already considerable) variety in the game, it would be fun to have a “randomise” option prior to a match or maybe as a temporary game-mode, where you are assigned a random weapon with random attachments. You could still choose your perks etc, but this would accomplish 4 things:

  1. It would add an element of surprise to the MP game
  2. It would further challenge advanced players to test their skill across a variety of weapon classes and attachments
  3. It would level the playing field to a greater extent in MP matches.
  4. It would give underused/unpopular weapon systems a new lease of life and may convert players who had steered clear of them thus far

These are just initial thoughts, feel free to add you comments/tweaks to this idea in the comment section!

There should be a "Autofill" function when you search something into the username search bar

Hello. This is something I have been wanting to talk about for a while, and so here it is.

So what do I mean? Basically what I mean is, instead of having to search up a whole username everytime you are looking for someone. Instead, let's say I search up a clan tag. The game should give me a list of names with every person that has that specific clan tag.

Or let's say I search up two random letters. The game should give me a list of names that start with those letters, in that specific arrangement.

This would make searching up usernames for adding friends, reporting cheaters with hidden characters/spaces, etc.etc waaaaaay easier.

The website of Activision is confusing. They have mentioned "only official DUALSHOCK®4 PlayStation® 4 and official Xbox One controllers can be used to play Call of Duty: Mobile. All versions of official PS4 controllers except first generation controllers are supported".

First they mention "only" Dualshock 4 are supported. Then they mention "all versions" of PS4 controllers are supported.

Which ones should I buy?

PS: I have never had a controller in my life. I am from the era of Half Life, Soldier of Fortune, Delta Force, Mario, Contra.

S4 BP.

So, the devs were saying that they were going to look into the issue with the BP resetting earlier than it should have, and it’s been 2 days, with no results. What do people like me, who wanted to grind on the last day, do now? Do we just suck it up and move on? If so, it seems really scummy for Activision to just steal our CP from a mistake on their part. Pistols as primary.

So, they're releasing a shotgun as a secondary which I've wanted for a long time. My favorite combo was SMG and shotgun. Overkill may come eventually. What I would like to see is them allow us to equip a pistol in our primary slot. I know underkill is a thing is some games, but this would be without a perk. I would love to make a pistol/another pistol or pistol/melee class.

Looking for teammates for World championship GER

Completionist camo bug

There's a bug which quite a few players including me have been facing. I have the gold camo for all weapons (excluding amax), including all secondaries. I have the Damascus camo as well. Still, both the platinum and Damascus camo have not been unlocked for sks and mk2. Also, the Damascus camo has not been unlocked for Holger and spr. I somehow unlocked the platinum camo for spr when I used it in BR, but it didn't work with the other guns. Many others are facing this issue as well, as I saw in many YouTube comments and reddit communities. Also, matches are not being counted for the diamond camo for sks, spr and mk2. I thought it would get fixed with this update, but nothing has changed. Please fix this bug asap. 🥲🙏

Codm nerfing players with external remote?

I play a lot of cod mobile with my ps4 controller, I have reason to believe that cod mobile purposely stops detecting the remote even when it is clearly connected, I can use the remote for everything, it will work in pre game, but when I connect to the actual match it will “soft disconnect” and you have to quickly toggle Bluetooth and reconnect the controller, is there any fix? Not sure what to do in the game

The first couple months of playing this game were really fun, grinding weapon levels and going for insane killstreaks. The only way I'm playing the game now is to improve or maintain my kd. I kind of want to go for Damascus but I usually play other games and I feel like this would take ages and also destroy my kd. I pretty much win all of my br games and for some reason I stopped getting any ranked games from Pro onwards (couldn't find players). Is there anything else to do in the game? This isn’t extremely necessary and is just a suggestion because CODM brings at least one new MP map almost every season. So this would be a nice addition to the maps. If you make any changes, make sure that the new Nuke Town map would be the same size as the original Nuke Town map.

I think napalm should be banned on Small maps?

Small maps napalm is so OP it consumes the whole map and continuos damage till you respawn the 3rd time, thats worst than nuclear. then the guy gets much points for so much kill again by napalm and does another napalm.

About Stage 2

Stage 2 is so bad just because there will be many teams of randoms and also Many other players like myself that will be left alone and without a team just because you decided to make stage 2 played only with a team it's so hard for me to find a team that plays specifically HP and Dom and also are at similar ranks with me at the SAME region as well that's SO Specific for someone who only wants the stage 2 rewards , WHY didn't you make it possible for people who want only the stage 2 rewards to just play it alone? Just why, for that you're getting one star review in playstore as well, such BS assuming everyone has a team ready for stage 2 .

Razor Kishi just stop working for anyone else?

I play on iOS with the Razor Kishi attached. It’s worked flawlessly since I got it (last week). It worked fine today until tonight and now while the settings say a controller is connected but no input is working.

It’s not the razor controller because other games are taking inputs from the controller with no problem.

Why plate system is better than what Health system we had now.

Our current health system is so unfair something like who has the level 3 and adrenaline is the winner.And the current system is so slow to heal, and totally its unfair becuase even you has the best gun ingame if your having gunfight with squad, all of them has level 3 armor and adrenaline even tho they are average player only they has the greatest chance of winning than you.

Now what is made plate system better
First you can heal fast.
Second anyone can win based on skills.
Third one consumable only (armor plates only)
Fourth it is Skill friendly not luck friendly
And many more

So this is my contribution to made the plate system in global made yours now if you want it to happen.

Hopefully devs see this.

Are codm lobbies getting toxic?

I feel the lobbies are getting very toxic these days. If someone is lagging behind in a game teammates start swearing, and if someone is doing well opponents start swearing. Here's one of my experiences : I used mythic Holger in one of the matches and both my teammates and opponents started calling words and started saying that I'm P2W player and shouldn't be using it. Come on lobbies , you could do better

Teammate killed our entire team and then themself. Any guesses as to why?

I'm sooo confused. Just played a squad be match and we were all in a helicopter waiting for the final person to board. They shot the helicopter with a fhj killing all of us. They just ran up to us and Nova gassed themself. I'm so confused. What was the point of this? It wasn't even to loot our crates so I'm literally beyond confused. Prone lock on an incline.

Hi.

So i have this issue with prone lock. its fine if you are on flat ground. but if you are prone on an incline the vertical lock does not go up with the incline. so prone looking up a hill gets locked before i can even match the hill i am lying on, i am forced to only shoot into the ground and not even the same angle i am lying at. my body is already at that angle, why cant i fire there?? the same thing happens looking down a hill.

say prone lock is +/-20°. the zero point is always horizontal even when your body is not (due to the incline/decline of the hill). if the incline is 25° i cant even look at the angle my body is facing. if it is 25° incline and you are looking up it the prone lock should be around that 25° your body is facing and not around 0° horizontal. making the total reach +5° to +45°. if you turn to look down the hill it should go the other way.

i dont know how accurate the 20° is, its just for illustrative purposes.

this is a huge problem on BR. but you dont really get hills on MP, but im sure it applies.

Hi all, I'm a working professional and 30 year old with family responsibilities. I am willing to play the 2nd round of championship but have unconventional timings. So I have decided if someone takes me in their team as a sixth member and help me get the Merc 5 skin without having to play any game I'll gift 240 CP (80x3) to the team leader for BP. Also, I'm willing to play if our timings matches. Currently I'm in legendary rank and I'm from India. I mainly play hardpoint and domination in ranked solo queue. good morning guys and then my name is SpartaGamer I am a call of duty mobile stremer, I am Brazilian, I feel compelled to question why activision does not recognize battleroyale as an E-SPORTS modality, WHILE it corresponds to more than 75% of the public of the game being that it could also become the first game to have two modalities, even when activision we're going to withstand this we from the battleroyale spend more than anyone else in the game and we are not valued.

Question about the lucky draws

Ok, so I saw the Thorned Rose Redux the other day and realized that I had seen that draw a few months ago. I later realized that's why its call a "Redux". If so, does this mean that all lucky draws are brought back a few times? Theres a draw I wanted to complete but I forgot about it and it expired. I am hoping that it is brought back. Do you know if there is a schedule or something of lucky draws being brought back as a redux or something?

North American Stage 2 Team *4 people needed*

I’d like to advance to stage 3. I’m currently Master 4 but can wait a day to go up before starting. I play most of the day.

There’s 11 days to complete the matches so there’s no rush for me. It’s actually better to have a higher rank as that gives you more points for the top 256.
