Gunsmithing?, How far you've gone?

Created a google form to have an overview on how much players have worked on gunsmith, overall favorite guns on the community, which legendary skin is most common? and many more.

I will also try to implement a mapping between guns and players to categorize them into different types of players using neural networks.

Many players are always stuck at master 1 including me
Most of my friends are legendary, so I hopped on ranked
But everytime I try to get a kill, I always die to a thermites, Hawk x3, and many more
I remember the old days where reaching legendary wasn't a problem

Regarding Class Activation music in Battle Royale

Guys, Devs, I loved the tunes. Nice touch. Humorous, quirky, stick in the brain, good job. But...

... Could it be at all possible for you to give players the option to mute them? Like keep the audible warning, but kill the music. The reason I ask is that I got to thinking today and at a conservative estimate, I'd say about a quarter of my deaths in BR have happened when two of these classes have been activated at once.

We've all been here: when those things are going off in groups or even pairs the enemy could drop a helicopter behind you and you'd only know because of the downdraft effect. Please, if you could consider fixing this situation somehow, I'd be eternally grateful. Sure I'm not the only one that finds it a problem.

Misleading announcement in Domination

When you play Domination, after 50 score, an announcement is made that you have won/lost the round and be ready for the next round.

This gives the impression that score will reset to zero and it will start anew.

However it is not the case. The score continues from round 1.

PS: I have intentionally marked this post as bug report. And please don't reply saying it is a "feature".

Here we are ladies and gentlemen, at the part 5 of comic explanations! It was hinted on my cake day post (yes it was day before yesterday) that comic explanations getting a change and it is that ITS GETTING MONTHLY now! Grab a popcorn and let's begin.

SEASON 4 (2021) - SPURNED & BURNED

Price, accompanied by Rosa, Charly and a group of soldiers together with Mace still in his bonds, arrives at the facility that Templar was sent to in Texas, USA [Reference to S6 - 2020, where Ghost was sent to the same place]. Price asks Mace if he has any insights to the place, to which Mace says that he has been out of the loop. Charly also voices her displeasure of having to go on this mission with him. Mace states that he hates Templar as much the group does, and that he'd be more than happy to kill anyone he's told to, but Price is more interested in his knowledge of the facility, and sends him in first.

As the team ventures further inside, the group's soldiers are killed by Templar, revealing it to be an ambush set up by him. Price orders the rest of his crew to take him out, but things are made worse when Dame, a female companion of Templar's, joins in the battle as well. She disarms Charly and Rosa of their weapons while Mace gets his hand stabbed by Templar. Rosa attempts to take both Dame and Templar herself with her knife, but is ultimately defeated like the rest of the group.

During this time, Hidora, on the boat, is being interrogated by Shepherd. Hidora refuses to divulge anything, though Shepherd notes that Raul Menendez did, to which he rebukes that he is not Raul and that he won't be sitting long. However, Alex and Soap both dismiss the idea, as they had made sure no one had followed them, and that no one was told of where they were. Shepherd then asks who the 5th Knight is, a question which Hidora refuses to answer. In response, Shepherd punches him, saying that the 5th Knight can't stay hidden forever and that he'll have to reveal himself eventually. Hidora instead tells them that they should b...

Following up on my previous post (link in the comments), here are my thoughts on attachments that really matter for BR Snipers and Marksmen

Muzzle:-

Either Light Suppressor or Compensator (every other option is pointless or even downright detrimental)

Stock:-

Steady/Ranger stock, any stock that stabilizes aim.. the others are pointless due to the benefits of aim stabilisation (assuming you don't try to quickscope.. if so, they make sense..but that's a very very strange choice for BR that only the 0.0000001% will truly utilize)

Rear Grip:-

Rubberised grip.. the other two are pointless

​

Barrel:-

Since snipers/dmr damage are not affected by range, you should only use barrels for their recoil control.. having said this, you should use the medium long barrels at most, the heaviest ones give too much disadvantage for inconsequential gain... Unless you are trying to use M21 or SKS, you can safely forego barrels (example for the Arctic, if you don't want suppressors, foregoing barrels and using Compensator and Rubberized grip combo instead is a much better choice)

  • Bolt Action snipers do not really need barrel attachments since recoil is not something you would normally want to lookout for and the crosshair recenters anyway.
  • As mentioned before, Semi Autos can benefit from barrels but you should use the medium barrel at most.

Ammunition:-

The only time you should consider using Extended magazines is when you intend to use Sleuth or Muffled mods in-game.. If not, it is better to use Extend mod in-game and use all slots for other attachments.. For special ammunition like Stopping Power Reload, given that they only alleviate the damage to chest (or just the torso for Kilo), i find them usually pointless given the rate-of-fire and recoil penalty they come with, it's usually better to just use a harder hitting, more consistent damage spread sniper like DLQ or Locus

  • For SPR, assuming the enemy is equipped with Lev3 and 150hp, the .338 ammo gives you 1 shot to head but 3 shot to chest while .300 will give you 2 shot to head but 2 shot to chest.. The shots-to-kill at chest being...

To make ds viable you need to be adsed in but the only hiccup is not being able to slide if enemy suddenly pops up, this will also give skulker some use.

Advice on content creation?

I have a YouTube channel, which features CoDM content exclusively as of now. I game, record, and edit on my android device.

The question i have is that how do i grow my channel? Of course i promote it on my social handles, but the gaming genre is a niche which attracts specific people, unlike music cover videos. Plus, most of my "friends" are narcissists, who just ignore my stories and posts.

P.S.- i don't do this full time. I have a job, and play in between breaks. I upload videos ob weekends, when all people are free, and thus can watch them.

All of my glitches were caused by stock ROM (Moto G5s Plus)

Hi. I've been playing CODM on my Moto G5s Plus for longer time now but for a year there were crash bugs. When I entered BR the game crashed in about half of the match almost every time I played. Either I got black screen with sound and I was able to control movement without picture or the graphics glitched out getting stretched and most screen being black.

The game was randomly choppy but at least in MP it wouldn't crash. Instead there were audio glitches and game would momentarily freeze. The sound output was just electrical buzz. Anyway, MPs were playable.

Recently I switched to PixelExperience 11+ (custom ROM) and now all things work fine and smoothly. No such glitches anymore.

I know this wasn't specific for my case. I've seen someone else report the same glitches with this same device. So, the problem was with stock ROM. Solved.

If you experienced the same with same device, it's most likely not a problem with CODM.

Why Garena is the sweatiest server

It has always been a fact that Garena is a very sweaty server and each server of CODM has its own version of sweats but what makes Garena such an intriguing server, their movement is the most aggressive, to put it simply, they would barely touch the ground and most gunfights you'll engage is basically you and the enemy jumping around trying to aim your shots, they also like to slide a lot like their body is coated in oil, a bunch of slippery fucks, and this is where the most complained thing in garena comes in, the shotguns, their aggressive movement is complimented with a pump action death stick which makes it frustrating and annoying, to the point that they would hate each other for using it, Garena also has the tendency to complain a lot basically being a bunch of Bobby Clones in an Asian server (except for those who don't complain) , Garena also has the tendency to get cocky asf, to the point that they choke more often than a person actually choking in real life. Now it's obvious that Garena's playstyle is what makes them competitive and lethal but that very lethality becomes their undoing, Garena is at the state of being literally unplayable especially in casual, they sweat so much , they have more salt than the Dead Sea, Garena is a very very very sweaty server, and it is advisable that you'd best be careful, Most of Garena's complaints due to to their aggressive playstyle and it really ruined the server a lot, it becomes more and more difficult to be in a casual match for the sake of fun...

Hey, I've just reached lvl 19, and I'm curious if I'm playing like I'm supposed to or not. Part of me wants to focus on older guns that have attachemednts unlocked, but I guess I should try to work on new guns too, no?

Anyone else having issues with controllers after Saturday morning sometime?

Was playing fine Friday night, Saturday came around went to play and my joystick movements and aiming wouldn't work at all. Neither would shooting or aiming.
I tried everything from unpairing my controller(elite series 2) to trying a different controller (ps4) both of which had the same problem. Then I tried restarting my phone, connecting my controller to my Xbox to make sure it works(it does) then trying again on my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling cod mobile, and messing with just about every setting I could find in the menus. The only thing I was able to fix was the shooting and ADS issue by switching to use bumpers for shooting and adsing instead of triggers.

Haven't been able to find anything anywhere saying there's a known issue at this time, so just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and any advice on how to fix it.
Kinda upset as I've only been playing a week or so since I found out I could use my controller to play as the game itself is good, but the mobile controls, for me atleast, I just can't do. So being able to use a controller to still play with friends was nice. Honestly, wont be playing again until I can use it tho. Not worth the feeling of being handicapped.

Game screen blacks out during BR

Posting on behalf of a friend -

I've been facing this issue since the past couple of days. My screen just blacks out in the middle of a BR game but I can still hear my teammates talking. It's not a problem with the phone because every other app runs fine and I don't face this issue while playing any other mode. Only happens when I play BR. Deleted the app then reinstalled but the problem just won't leave.
Is there any solution to this?

codm should treat garena like global

every time when codm global gets a good stuff like the championship garena doesn't even get a championship. even the global version gets many free crates and crates from ranked matches mean while in garena we only get from the ranked matches. in global version the first draw for a draw cost 10cp mean while in garena it's 30 cp that's a big difference. even in the global version the new battle pass is released and in garena it still take 1 day to release. basically just make garena and global version fair for the players.

i cant change my codm dp

Its linked to my garena acc, i have an anime dp in my garena acc but for some reason whenever i try to make it into my codm by pressing the "restore default" which is supposed to set it to your fb or garena avatar. it works when an acc is linked to fb but when its linked to garena it just shows a default codm dp. anyone know how to fix this?

I just updated to the new Season 5 on CODM. There was a message saying that new weapons and maps are available.

But when I go to Multiplayer (un-ranked), there are no new weapons or maps.

Worth buying iphone12 for CODM?

i havent played any shooters in years i just assumed id be bad now. But cod mobile is awesome my KD is 5.02 and ive got like 8k+ kills. So im friggen into it!

Im using xb1 controller. It runs at 60fps very smooth like im playing a legit pc game

Then i googled iphone 12 graphics benchmarks, and apparently its over 2x more powerful.

That has got to be CRAZY smooth. Any input from any iphone 12 owners here?

Little vent I wanted to do, I hope you guys don’t mind.

This game has been affecting me more then I thought, I’ve been playing it since it launched back in 2019. Around Late May to Early June I started to get paranoia, let me explain… I love this damn game, I’ve bought every battlepass since season 9 and been playing it everyday, but every month it gets an update and continues getting bigger and bigger, I used to play it on my IPhone SE but eventually it became too big for my IPhone SE and I had to delete it and downgrade to an IPhone 6 Plus just because it had more storage. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be playing the game. If anything Season 5 might be the last season I play for a while. The paranoia I mentioned early is from me being scared I won’t be able to play the game anymore so yeah.
Anyway, I appreciate you guys letting me vent here for a sec. I’ve rambled enough for this post.

“Season 5 came too early” debate

As you all know, the Season 5 update came a little faster then precisely expected. Now usually this would be a good thing. Getting new content early is usually a net positive. Unfortunately, Like so many others...I’m not happy with the outcome. Many people (myself included) usually wait until the last day or so to buy and/or finish up the pass. This was quickly and unexpectedly changed without any sort of notice. Now, this is what I propose we do to right the wrongs and give these players some leniency while also not interrupting the current season BP and the players they have I already purchased it. They should give players a ONE time option to buy the Season 4 BP and/or TRANSFER over any tiers you have gained in the Season 5 BP to the Season 4 BP without actually losing any tier progression you had in the new one. This ensures players like me obtain previously unobtainable items without having to do a rollback and mess with other players tier progression in the current pass.

Gung-Ho is the best perk in the game right now.

Honestly it’s definitely the best green perk and best perk in general. No delay while reloading and throwing nades is amazing. It also cancels the delay in melees while you swing so you can slide and swing your melee at the same whereas without the perk you would crouch. Pair it with fast mobility weapons like the QXR,QQ9, Bizon,RUS, and the AS VAL and you have easily got insane moment that helps you in so many situations. What are your thoughts on the perk and will you be using it?
