Necessary nerfs and buffs needed for a new meta in S4

These are some of the things that need rebalanced in order to shake up the meta and not be knee deep in bs cheese metas.

  1. Nerfing the effective ranges of the 3 shots kill rifles to make them 4 shot and make the 3 shot kill only for distances less than 10m

  2. Already getting sniper nerf

  3. Nerfing the effective damage range of the qq9/mp5 because no other smg is as good as the qq9 in 10-20m distances. Everytime the qq9 owns in these close gunfights because of high ROF and the range buff.

  4. Nerfing the thermite spread and slow movement. Damage per second came stay the same.

  5. Nerfing dropshotting (we have seen a dropshot perk but idk when it might come around but it needs to be done in order to make the game more competitive and not pulling cheese strats/emergency button for a lost gunfight)

  6. Making the movement system more streamlined with fluid animations and proper hitboxes. Mantling on objects and windows should also be worked on.

  7. Make deagle akimbo 3 shot kill idc.

Final notes: if these changes can be implemented by the s4 rolls around the game will feel 10x better as to what we currently have and the team can also put more emphasis on checking out what new metas come out and what under-utilised weapons need buffs (example- Chicom, M16, AK-47 etc)

Opinion on Assault Rifle?

As returning player used to use ASM10, Bk57 and Type 25. Aks74 or now known as Rus.

Whats Currently the best Short Range and Long Range Assault Rifle?
I feelt Ak117 is pretty good. But heard HVK and ManOWar are pretty nutty.

A lot of people are asking for nerfs about certain weapons in the game and other people name-calling them,here is the take of both sides:Pros and Casuals. This contains all viewpoints and all *constructive* and factual conversation is welcome.

Snipers:Covered by Path and Cygnoux.

NA-45:Can be countered by Flack Jacket,which can then be countered by Demo Expert. Back to square one. However,nerfing it any further will make it useless. A balanced take is to reduce the spare mags from 30 to 5,and making it immune to Vulture(Launcher+ adds one mag),effectively treating it like a launcher than a sniper,which it is used as. This requires the user to be accurate with their shots and increases the skill gap to use it,as currently it is very noob friendly and spammable.

Akimbo Deagles:They have been banned in each and every casual and pro(where money is involved) scrims. They have much more utility than shotguns and every player in the comp scene,as well as people who have played other CODs ,has expressed that they have effectively reduced the skill gap and are actually accurate if you have even a little shed of crosshair placement,you can 1 burst them with almost no counters,uptill about 11m(meanwhile,shotguns hitmarker in 5m,they should increase damage per pellet till 5m to garauntee a kill in those ranges) . No,giving akimbo to other secondaries won,t make them balanced,they will further ruin the meta(Akimbo Diamattis in WZ for example). However,we need to distinguish the Deagle from the J358,so removing the perk is not the way. A possible nerf is to make it a 3 shot kill in Akimbo state(funny that even akimbo fennecs had damage reduction,but the deagle is 2 shot in any state).

Axe: It has a range of 3.4m,6m in FPP BR(FPP only btw).Path/KnivesiOS made a video about how to measure the range of melees,check it out.)Doesn't need your crosshair on the enemy for a kill. Nerf range to 1.5m and make it so that you MUST keep your crosshair on the enemy for a kill. No further nerfs needed on other melees,bat and hachi have apt ranges but have the crosshair anomaly,so that must be fixed.

Thermites: Have the role of Semtex,Molotov and Tripmine in one,slow you down,and have a horrendously loud screeching sound,which doesn't allow you to hear enemy's footsteps. A c...

Is there a point to playing any other SMG now that Ive unlocked the Bizon in the battlepass for free, and it blatently outpreforms any other SMG and Assault Rifle I have?

Regular Alert perk is better than High Alert. With Alert, you can know where people are camping before they even see you. You can also detect them from one floor above or below. High Alert could possibly be better if they make it function correctly.

Anyone else finding the control pads on ipad just stop in game play?

Until about two weeks ago everything was fine. Now when I'm running around using both the left and right control pads on my iPad, my player will just stop running. When I lift off and put my finger back on the iPad to keep moving it just won't move. It's just a bug I glitch or what should I do?

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the game but it still happens. Let the tablet around and even tried putting the finger controls for movements in different areas but it still happens.

Hardcore Mode get people teamkilling for no reason

People run in front of my bullets and die and then kill me for no reason, if they play the Hardcore Mode, they shouldnt get their panties in a twist if they get killed, if they didnt realize for some reason, people arent toxic unless they are

this is more of a rant but i couldnt find a flare for that, its just im trying to get gold skin for the HS0405 and i kill teammates running in my shotguns range only to kill me the moments i couldve gotten a couple easy kills, sad part is they use trash guns to kill me (imo the weapons they use are trash, i wont say) but i just wanted to say it for those that dont realize how stupid it is to teamkill a person that accidentally tked you, i dont care if this gets taken down as long as some people see it and spread it hopefully so we dont have to suffer with toxic tkers in Hardcore :)

Dear codm, fix your shitty SBMM. I lost 17 matches out of 23 today. I got teammates who can hardly kill 3-5 enemies. They leave their respawn point and come here again within a second. My whole rank got minus. I reversed to master 1 from master 2 just today. And the game has legendary DESYNC AND FRAMEDROP. I have a question about the Event: Radioactive Agent Redemption.

I don't have a PC, or a laptop that supports War Zone. Probably I will have to ask my friend to use my account and play few games. So I want to know, what's the exact objective? Like is entering the game and leaving it in few minutes will do the job?

What if he kills himself in each match purposefully? Will that work too?

I keep getting booted from the app

For the last few days now when I get on CoD Mobile, I can only play about 1-3 multiplayer matches, before I get booted of the app with no warning. Straight to home. Also, if I am screen recording at the time of the kick, it automatically stops the recording, but never files my recording with the rest of my photos and videos. Why you should be unbanned:
After researching for reasons why i got banned i stumbled on 3rd party apps bans. Im using a Huawei Y7a phone which doesn't support any google applications. The guy that sold me the phone said that we can use third party apps to download applications that is not in the AppGalery, at first i didnt know that i can get ban from using it. I was playing for a few weeks with it and it was going fine and then i got banned for 3 days. After that i thought i only got banned for toxicity but after the bun lifted after a few games i got banned for a week and i still dont know how im getting banned it was ok for me to wait for a week but after that i got banned for 10yrs and I can assure that Gspace (3rd party app to download apps that is not supported in huawei) is not a hacking application . If this appeal got accepted i wont be using any 3rd party apps to play codm.

Ranked Queue Times for Controller Players

The queue times in ranked when playing with a controller are insane, especially when playing with a team. It’s pretty much impossible to find a match once you get to master. In the past, you were able to disconnect your controller and reconnect it once the game started, but that no longer works. Devs need to make it so controller players can be matched against touch screen players, so controllers can get to legendary, too.

In the mean time, does anyone have any tips on how to get into ranked with a controller in the current state of the game?

I play touch screen, but all my friends play with controller and I’m sick of having to either solo queue ranked or play pubs with friends where we make the enemy team rage quit every single match.

i just got a 62 mb update, when i opened the game i found: ADVANCED battle pass, library instead of shop, the battle pass phrase was glitched, the "news" section became "new mode blitz", the equipment become "change emote", all the guns now have legendary or epic names (ad es: dr-h aurore), the yes button when u want to exit the game became library too. All in italian obv, pls fix the bad translations and explain what is the advanced battle pass. UPVOTE TO MAKE DEVS READ PLS!!!

Why do I get penalized for leaving a solo br match?

I would understand if it was for a duo or squad match but why would I get penalized for leaving a solo one? I'm currently on a bad internet connection and I sometimes have no choice but leave the game because it becomes unplayable and it really annoys me that not just that I lose progress but I also get penalized by the game

3x scope underrated pls fix it

Whenever I use a 3x scope at rank they think im a noob (current rank status:legendary).
I use 3x scope for better aiming at mid or long ranges thats why I always use them at my long range assault rifles and lmg's.The problem its iron sight (some silencer) are shown when you ads with the 3x scope honestly I cant blame them because sometimes I got distracted or annoyed by it
but still very usefull.I just wanna say that I hope they fix the iron sight problem in 3x scope

Game is too big for low end devices now so heres a suggestion

We need the ability to turn off stuff like weapon animations kill effects and animated characters or character skins in general, this might help with the lag a lot.

The character skin turned off would work like you can always see only the base version of character so you dont have to download or your phone doesnt have to render all colorful or animated operators in case it cannot handle it. I love playing cod and fixing this issue would help me and many others who are on the verge of quitting

SKS is overloaded meta?

MoW: Damage 49, Fire Rate 50, for our comparison.

SkS: Damage 72, Fire Rate 43.

The common (MoW) meta is a 3 shot kill close range or 4/5 shot kill at long range without using ADS delaying attachments.

The uncommon meta (SKS) is a 2 shot kill with superior ADS speed, distance and damage, you'll shoot 2 shots before the MoW shoots 3 shots, it should be treated like a single fire AR.

Personally I get most of my wins in legendary S&D with SKS spamming, I can't understand why more people don't use it?

Let's talk about shotguns

Shotguns have always been and will always be the most inconsistent weapon in the game and possibly ones that are the most despised but keep this in mind, when using a shotgun, you are sacrificing versatility and the only way to properly use it is get in the specified range and be in a position where you won't get shot in the face when the enemy doesn't die on the first shot, seeing iferg's shotgun challenge video, goes to show that shotguns are fine the way they are, the constant spamming in garena happened because how it was often used in the playoffs and in the championship, it's basically just a bandwagon, if no one used shotguns during those games, no one would use them in the first place, all codm youtubers are mostly from global and they barely used shotguns and they prefer sniping which explains why global players tend to ignore the shotguns

Can someone post a step by step of how to get the new skins with warzone login...

So as you guys know codm is offering its players one of three skins which IMO look awesome, but is just kinda difficult for some players to do what the event requires, and so I came on this subreddit to see if anyone that has gotten the skin can post a step by step of how to log out of the current account on warzone and log into the codm account on warzone.

What you need to know about Lucky Draws in COD Mobile

TL;DR : Never start a draw unless you have the CP to open the entire draw (4550 CP for the legendary weapons draw)

How hopeful can we be about winning a legendary weapon in the draw before the 9th turn ?

Unfortunately, the odds are not so great. There is only a ~1.76% chance to win the legendary weapon before the expensive rounds, 9 and 10.

For the recently held draw Primeveal Redux, the odds were given as

Since >97% of the draws award the legendary weapon only in the last round, it is highly recommended to start opening the draw only when you are reasonably sure that you can afford to complete it.

Interesting observations

  1. The legendary weapon becomes costly not just because of its low odds but also because of its low odds when compared to the second rarest item. (We are 16x more likely to receive the second rarest item in the 9th round than the legendary weapon). Paradoxically, having another elusive item would make the draw cheaper, if one drops out after receiving the legendary weapon.
  2. On an average, the COD:Mobile gamers spend 4400 CP for receiving a legendary weapon from the lucky draw.

How to NOT to play with bots ?

So I play on gameloop (I love playing COD on PC but am too broke and I don't have a good phone). So I'm interested in playing cod mobile. I've been playing for 1 year and all of the sudden... bad news. The bugs hasn't even fixed, the frame drops like crazy, the connection is bugged, even my internet is fine and my teammates are bad and bots. Whatever! So I was playing warfare br and there is alot of bots, real players and all of the sudden... it froze and lag like what the heck Cod Mobile. Like it's stupid, I dont want any bad lags happen to me. It's been like this for 9 months and you need to fix this please. The only problem I'm having is losing the game it sucks, and my movement is clunky like it's stupid, all other opponents movements are crazy but I don't know what's going on with this game Cod Mobile. Why you should be unbanned:

I have spent my own salary on buying game assets, legendary weapons, etc. So, I'm not even close interested in doing wrong stuff. I do have a jailbroken iPhone, I do use VPN (but not for gaming, since it increases the game ping). On behalf of using a jailbroken iPhone, I was aware that this could be dangerous somehow by using tweaks or third party stuff, but I was playing, since day 0 just fine, and no modifications were done on the longterm I have been playing.

So, I am not exactly sure why my account was banned, therefore I am respectfully requesting an appeal. I believe my account ban could be fair (since I have a device that doesn't fill the entire recommendations), but I would like to ask for a ban lift anyway.

Bored science explanation to my previous post about super glue.

Gorilla glass and similar glass on smart phones are around a Vickers Hardness of 600-700.

A Vickers Hardness of ~650 is about a 78 on the Shore Hardness scale.

The glue is Ethyl Cyanoacrylate based that has a Shore Hardness of around 85.

A Shore Hardness of 85 is roughly 746 on the Vickers Scale, about a 13% difference.

However, that's a ~13% difference in a Vickers Method that plunges a pyramidal diamond into the material, and about a ~8.2% differences in a Shore Hardness.

Materials have an elastic and plastic zone. Elastic means it can take a bunch of load and not permanently change shape. Once the load becomes too much materials plastically, permanently, deform.

Since we are talking about mobile gaming, we want to compare the differences of the materials in a more realistic scenario. So our best option is to use the Rockwell Superficial method that plunges into the materials at 15kg, or about 30lbs of force.

On this scales our Vickers and Shore Hardness convert to ~91.1 for the glue, and ~89.3 for the glass. Giving us a ~1.97% difference.

When the force in our testing method is doubled to 30kg, or about 66lbs, the readings convert to 75.7 for the glass, and 79.3 for the glue. This is now a ~4.54 difference.

When the load once again doubles to 60kg, or about 132lbs, giving us a reading of 68.8 for the glue and 64.3 for the glass, or a percent difference of ~6.54%.

As we double the load the percent difference increases nearly linearly since we are taking measurements just outside of the elastic region. The elastic region has a perfectly linear relationship.

So, since we've seen that doubling the load gives us a ~2.29% increase. We can assume if we halve the load from 15kg to 7.5kg, or ~16.5lbs we would see 0% change in the amount of deformation.

Now, in a heated moment your finger might be tapping and swiping with 16.5lbs of downward force for a split second, but on average I don't know anyone who is tapping and swiping with that ...

Idea on how to make the akimbo .50 GS/Deagle more balanced

The akimbo .50 GS is insanely broken and is a pain to go against. However, I have some balance changes that, if implemented, would make them less broken but still very good in the right hands.

  1. Reducing the damage so it can only double tap if you hit both shots to the head. It would be a three shot everywhere else on the body.

  2. Reduce the damage range by 30%.

  3. Slow down the fire rate only when using akimbo. The new fire rate would be the current heavy trigger fire rate.

  4. Increase the hip fire spread by 25%.

I think that these changes would make the akimbo .50 GS much less overpowered but still good. If I am wrong, please let me know in the comments.

Idea for a better nerf, since I feel like stf for snipers is a bad idea.

Reticle deviation. When you strafe while ads, your reticle will deviate from the actual middle of the screen where you fire, depending on how much ads deviation you have. This prevents max ads builds from becoming insanely versatile and will allow accuracy attachments to be viable.

Ok so today i’m doing this post to get a real answer. To start, i never receive my warzone coin. it’s only a coin. but now i’m going to talk about a thing. Controller player didn’t have the same gameplay experience like mobile players. And the problem is in ranked match , when you are pro V , the search time is going to 360 seconds, and sometimes the search is during 30 minut’s. it’s not normal because controller player are not better than mobile player for one reasons. we got a delay to go on the floor.

so have you an proposition to fix this time to find a game with a controller ?

time for search a party with mobile on ranked : 2 seconds

with controller : more 30 minut’s sometimes ...

i would like to spend time to play in ranked and not for search :(

CodM next year !

I know its CodM sub but just thought to share this that i seen next year Battlefield is making mobile game, and what are your thoughts about that, are they the threat for CodM !
They made a test gameplay and is insane 😱
I seen some Warzone pro players trying that test and they gave very impresive thought about gameplay and graphic.
So about CodM i found just an idea to bring like type of Warzone in CodM but just an idea nothing confirmed from them and i dont want to say something like fake around here, randomly i seen this idea somewhere and i think next year gonna be Big Big surprise, first Battlefield Mobile and second: lets hope for any surprise from Activision for Mobile !

Starting a Semi-Pro CODM league

I have an idea to start a Semi Pro CODM league. This would be a league with small, but better known CODM comp teams.
