I’ve been playing CoDM for a long time now, especially in lockdown, almost like 5-6 hours a day. This game really helped keep me sane in this time, kept me close to the friends I couldn’t meet.
But now this game is just getting hugely disappointing and frustrating.
It’s not even just the rank grinding with randoms who don’t know how to play, I know not everyone plays good and that’s fine. My problem is with these new concepts that have been coming up recently, how the game is favouring unskilled gameplay.
The echo, for eg, that gun has such a huge mag, the fire rate is cranked the damage is so high, players really just run with it not knowing where the player is because you know keep moving like hell and boom boom boom.
The fennec, no one used it when akimbo wasn’t released cause you know the recoil wasn’t so easy to control on that thing and the mag ran out too quick, but know you have double the damage the range is insane and the hip fire accuracy is just unreal for a gun with that fire rate.
Dropshotting, the mechanics are so unreal, How does one just fall to the ground keep shooting and the fall break is so smooth doesn’t affect aim whatsoever, so easy to get back up run 2 meters and slide, ykwim?
These things are just easy to do and use, and people are using just these. Over and over, plus the thrash talking and not to mention the bugs and de sync.
I love this game but it’s fading, and I’m pretty sure it’s not just me, this is irritating to a lot of people and it’s heartbreaking to see such a great game going down like that.
I know the developers and team are doing a hard job, I appreciate it, we like the new stuff, but this new stuff is just killing the whole purpose of the game.
I don’t know how long can I keep playing if things like this keep going on, after all we play for fun and to relax and not to rage and lose our peace of mind.
