Hey guys! Quick question (could not locate an FAQ)

I just started playing less than a week ago, currently at Master 1, I’m basically the only guy without a fancy skin, I had a question about what I believe are called “gravity spikes” I played a lot of Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 1, I am not very familiar with all this new stuff, what I wanted to ask is, are gravity spikes a kill/score streak or something? I’ve just been pretty dumbfounded, when some guy just walks up in the room and instantly kills me with that, wondering what the hell is up with that haha, don’t know if it’s a perk or secondary weapon or whatever, it seems pretty ridiculous, unless it’s a kill/score streak. I apologize if I wasted your time reading this, but I’d appreciate a non hostile/sarcastic response

Man, screw you if you're one of those guys who takes your squad to places like Farm, Launch Base, Downtown and the platform.

Do you WANT to die? Seriously, if you become jump leader and your first instinct is to go to any of the places I named, you don't deserve to play BR. Are you a caveman who thinks those just happen to be QUIET locations? What went wrong when your brain was forming that you think it's fine to ever go near those places?
How dare you in a million years so willingly go to such hell holes. I must've had a hundred matches where my squad fucking died in the first 5 minutes because they stupidly thought that MAYBE this match nobody good would be at the busiest locations in BR. Fuck you guys.

Anyone here play BR with Galaxy Tab S7 Plus?

Title.

Can you play it without any problems on may graphic settings? I mean with problems „black screens“ and „freezes“ or is it still happening?

I currently have the galaxy tab s6 (which I bought 3 months ago btw) but BR is unplayable with the problems mentioned above.

So I might upgrade my device again, if these problems are solved there.

I don't know why rank is so unfair to me.

I used to be at Master V but dropped down to Master IV due to unfair rank matchups, (i usually get paired up with master I's and II's and that's it, III and above are rare. Also the rank xp losses when you're near to win is pure bullshit, when you lose at 49-50, i lose 30 points, and not lower, I wish it was lower and like 10-15ish like that or lower. And this is where it truly gets worse, when I'm at 30+-50, I get lower, what the actual fuck is that. I get like, rank xp loss like 5-7+. I hope the rank xp losses in close scores are lowered, I can't handle this, especially from someone who wants to be like Ferg or Parker.

BR tips(With a few background knowledge)

It seems like most people don't know a few details and interactions classes have in BR, so I've decided to compile every bit of information i know, and placed it into one post. Hope this'll help you. (From some random ass Legendary who's the teacher of my friend group.)

PS: Some of these you know, some you don't. So if you know some of these, good job you're an expert and deserve a badge. If you know some, put them in the comments. Btw, this information will help you on your seasonal grinds when you play BR. Maybe you want that ranked operator or whatever.

(This was requested for me to make from a comment section)

-Trickster's decoys aren't detected by scouts dart, meaning if you see a Trickster, you can use the dart to find the real one.

-Poltergeists ability to go invisible lets the user hide from the ff:

*Mechanics drone, it only detects you after the invisibility. So use it as a way to deflect the drone into another enemy.

*Zombies

*Scouts dart, only shows your last position and not on the mini-map

-Defender can counter both Trickster and Poltergeist, as the flash shield instantly cancels Poltergeists invisibility, and reveals the real Trickster.

-Trap master instantly destroys Tricksters decoy's if they pass by, but it also reveals the wire.

-Defender can lock doors by using the side of his shield, and can also lock tower doors by placing it at the metal door. This prevents people from vaulting over it.

-Medic and defender can be combined to be used if your teammate is downed

-Mechanic can cancel abilities that are about to be used.

-Hacker cannot destroy Clown's ability but can prevent you from using it

-Smoke bomber doesn't detect anyone if they enter the smoke after it activates

-You can stack zombies with Clown if they find an enemy.

-Poltergeists invis lasts 15 seconds without a class upgrade, but lasts 20 with a class upgrade

-Airborne's cooldown only starts when the airborne is destroyed

-Ninja can grapple up trees and glide, think of it as a way to curve ...

Who else thinks it would be cool if they converted the Alcatraz map into a zombies map?

Maybe do a single 4 man team and then quad 4 man teams which all start out on adjacent corners of the map with the intention of meeting in the middle to board a chopper to freedom.

Right so everytime i play battle royale everything is normal until i run into actual players. Especially at closer range my game will stick, often leading to my death before i can fire a single shot. Like running up hill, come to the top, enemy appears, game sticks, unsticks as im down and then promptly finished off. This happens every single game.

The situation of the game right now

Im no og ive been playing this game since the season 5 and have loved it, despite the rages I had this game always helps me destress and forget about all the shit that is happening in the world. However this anniversary season 11 just turned this game from a stress reliever to making me more stressed because of all the desync random frame drops and overpriced crates, draws and bundles.
I know its the games 1st anniversary and I have seen enought posts about how the devs are not at fault but instead the multiple teams that make the game are at fault, but even though its their 1st year anniversary CODM wants to make money and thier marketing team came with a great idea to make the mythic draw literal shit, but CODM should give the players who joined them from the start of their game a good prize and all other players a nice reward for bringing CODM to what was one of the best fps mobile games but no CODM just wanted money so the marketing team once again put items in overpriced bundles and crates.
Also the bugs in the game are too much, there are way to many frame drops sometimes in the middle of the game and sometimes for the whole match. Some of my shots are not landing and sometimes because of the lag and stuff, on your screen you sre behind a wall but on the enemies screen you are out in the open. All these bugs are extremely irritating especially on their 1st anniversary. Another issue is the optimisation issue which is the sony xperia the official CODM phone which CODM optimised to play CODM at 120 fps leaving all other phones at 60 or 30 fps, what makes matters worse that sony mobile had little to no shares of the mobile phone sales in most countries so basically CODM optimised a their game for a phone that literally nobody has. I suggest that maybe CODM can either not optimise just one phone to make everybodys device play at 60 fps at least and fix desync. Now im not insane and ask CODM to fix the bugs instantly but maybe at least improve the quality of the game season by season until the game runs smoot...

I know I’m gonna yet downvoted for this, but eventually I had to speak out about the way I feel.

I remember when I used to this game as a way to relax. Now, I’m literally raging each time I get on.

First, let’s talk about desync. This has caused me to lose a lot or streaks and I bet my k/d ratio would be a tiny little bit better without desync. Desync in shotguns is literally uncontrollable. As a shotgun user, most of my shots just go through the enemies body, without causing damage. I ain’t blind either, I know that my shots were spot on.

Secondly, the FPS drops. If anything causes rage in me, it would be this. Literally man, what the fuck? Why does my game seem to be one of those shitty games on mobile that were not made with no effort? Every match, mid game it seems like the whole fucking game seems to drop to at least 15 FPS or worse than that.

Third, over heating. Each time I hop on codm, I could literally cook an egg on top of my phone.

And lastly, the fennec. Do I need to say anything else about this weapon? Akimbo or not, this is pretty overpowered. And I know there is gonna be people in the comment section saying “oh, an smg is made for close range encounters”. I know ok? But with any other smg apart from the fennec, there is still a chance to survive a close range encounter. The fennec literally shreds someone close range, and medium range.

Overall, the game is pretty unbalanced and buggy right now. I know I should have waited till the new season to see how things turn out, but I just wanted to speak out since I’m frustrated at how the game has been lately.

1.don't camp(especially with snipers or chopper)
2.dont use persistence and vtol for every match(literally every match). Don't continue this still.
3.don't run around with akimbo fennec(use just the fennec cause akimbo doesn't need skill) thinking u r god of cod.please...
4.If it is a domination, cap beacons...if u are playing for kills just play tdm.

Would this make the game better or worse?

I think it would be incredibly useful to have “load outs” for perks and scorestreaks that are SEPARATE from our gun load outs. I like playing ranked/MP on random, and when it comes to legendary ranked, sometimes I HAVE to. I believe it improve my game to be able to set up my perks and scorestreaks for individual game types.

I know, I know - I could have different load outs for the game types or play specific game types one at a time. BUT that doesn’t help when your playing solo queue and you don’t have a sniper load out with the right perks, or if you have a favorite gun that you almost always use but you don’t want four different load outs with it just to change the perks.

This could be something automatically selected when you enter a game, but it would be more useful to just select a gun/weapon load out and select a perk/scorestreak load out too.

Would this be useful? How fast would this get “nerfed”? Would it make the game better or worse in general?

Trap master and Defender class are too overpowered. Please nerf them!

Trap master slows you down, reveals your position and then it gives you so much damage that you have no option rather than to heal. If you try to take fight then the damage of the trap will kill you and if you will try to heal them opponent will shoot you. When your location is revealed and you cannot even move properly, you will easily get killed.
Defender class not only gives the enemy a cover, but it also fully blinds you. You have no option but to jump and slide while the opponent can easily shoot you down. A fully blind enemy is too easy to kill and with additional cover from the shield, it always wins in close quater combats.
Both of these classes are too overpowered and doesn't needs much skill to use. No matter how skilled you are, you will not survive these 90% of the time. The community is asking to nerf these from months. I request the developers to kindly nerf both of these classes.

I just broke my phone over double fennec :-(

I use this game as an escape from my mental issues, you know I'm decent at it and I usually have fun. Lag and desync are bad but I still lived with it because I was still having fun with the game.

But nothing annoyed me more than akimbo fennec. No matter how good you are theres always someone in a lobby with a akimbo fennec to shit on you.

I lost a whole lot of ranked matches because of the enemy team using that. I mainly play ranked snd and in legendary there's guaranteed to be someone using fennec.

I played in a lobby where 4/5 of the team were using it in a Tunisia snd.

Couple this with desync and I just got fed up of dying and threw my phone on my bed and it bounced off causing it to break. It's entirely my fault but my god I've never gotten this worked up over a game in a long time.

What's the point in playing if you just keep dying over and over to one weapon? Shotgun users are fine because you can usually drop or slide under them, but with the fennec they can keep shooting.

This gun is broken codm.

I'm trash

I officially accept that I'm grade A trash. In light of my last post about people who kill from behind, there's no getting away from it. Now I declare that I suck at this game in more recent times. I used to be good when I played once a week upon this games official release but that was a different time
Now I'm just matched up in the following scenarios:

  1. full bot game where my teammates and opponents are nothing but bots
  2. my team is full of bots while the opposing team is full of God tier players.
  3. my team and opposing team are God tier players and I just get carried around like dead weight.

And during any of those 3 scenarios, 60% of the matches I join have already been going on and are about halfway or more over, with me joining the losing team.

I've now chalked this up just being good enough to play with bots, but not real people anymore, which basically means I'm trash shit at this game.

So go ahead and add your insults or do whatever you want to try and cheer me up. None of it will change how trashy I am at this game now. I will forever be trash since I have played this game for a whole year and have made no improvements since. I should take this as my cue to quit this game or at least slow down the gameplay back to what I used to do.

Thanks to all of you God tier players for helping me realize how trash I am at this game. Y'all enjoy yourselves

On a average . A whale is spending around 14k INR in india if he/she only buys bp and luckydraws ( not including duplicate/redux)

This season 11 the codm did pushed a LOT of content. Which includes 5 lucky draw and soo many character skins in crates and bundles.

Kindly note that india region has cp cheaper than its US/Europe counterpart. So even if that is considered if one whale buys all draws it will be 22k INR ....in a MONTH !

Now it's just one whale I am talking about. Imagine how much the heavy spender is giving to the company who buys all stuff. The game is literally milking cash cows to all its extent.

So forget about removing crates or make cheaper draws these bunch of whales (including me) can run the whole game on its own . Even if all f2ps get together still nothing can be done to stop these practices.

Am i the only one who thinks skilled match making should be in ranked? or is it i’m not sure because i’m tired of queing up for solo matches and having all my teammates being boosted legendaries that can’t get over 2 kills then leave the match, like how can the system improve or fix this, that you don’t match up with boosted legendaries on your team. just a little rant it’s been happening since s3, love the content codm and will keep playing, but is any thoughts or same experiences for you guys? The quality of ranked has gone down so bad that it's pathetic I have deranked from master 5 3 times 3 fucking times the quality of teammates is so bad in TDM I'm the only one having 15+ kills it's actually impossible to reach legendary this season the quality of teammates has reached to a shitty level these are so called legendary players who got carried and now I have to play with these wankers the desync has almost made me quit the game and camping is on an all time high people sit with their fucking choppers on the top of crash or sit in buildings on Crossfire sniping thinking that they are such good players by camping in the back of the map and killing some rando on mid long like these players don't even deserve to be in master league these players are the absolute meaning of noob and the ranked system never gives you points even if you have more than 70% of the team's kills on domination they don't hop on flags thinking they are slayers but at the end of the match guess whose 2-20 it's sad I'm almost about to quit ranked entirely because of this bullshit, also why the actual fuck is there lag when someone deploys a transform shield my frame rate goes from 60 frames to 5 in no rime, the transform shield is actually cancer it's broken the descision to change the transform shield was fucking terrible it's just encouraging camping, and also nerf the akimbo fennec it's so dumb like seriously how the fuck do Dev's not see it as a problem that was a big mistake the thing is broken .

Change the XP system!!!!!!
It is pretty much impossible to gain XP after master 3 even if you have 70% kills it is actually AIDS forget the new season focus on fixing the cancer people call ranked mode

And before tell me I'm a noob I have been legendary since season 3 it's the game that is fucking up constantly

A Helpful Tip to New Players (Or Any Players) to Quickly Level Up Weapons

A QUICK TIP FROM A VETERAN PLAYER:
I use this trick every time I play Battle Royale. It sounds like a hassle, but it will become a habit after 1 or 2 games. Every time you go into a Battle Royale game, just pick up every weapon you see. If you already have a weapon you want to use, just pick up it back up. Now that optics and mods transfer automatically, this is a piece of cake. Just picking up a weapon once can get you tons of XP points. I've gotten around 8 or 9 Weapons leveled up after one game before. Its a really simple trick that has really helped me out, and I help it helps some of you out too.

Need some regarding a bug.

Okay so I have this issue since the beginning of the gunsmith update which is still happening. I tried to get in touch with the developers through multiple posts on twitter and reddit but no one saw them. Can anyone please help me with this, my ads and shoot buttons have a very very noticeable delay between when i tap them and when the action occurs. This is most noticeable in snipers and shotguns which makes me lose almost every gunfight in the game. This is something specific to my account since it happened on other devices as well but not with anyone else whom I have asked. I request if anyone is seeing this who can get this to the developers to please do so as it's been too long. Thank you.

Finger input bug gotten worse?

Is anyone else still experiencing the input bug? I had previously mentioned about the finger input lag bug, but recently its gotten a whole lot worse. It usuallt used to happen only in BR but now its prevalent even in MP. While there was lag before, now there seems to be completely no identification of touch at all, and at times utter randomness. You tap the ADS button, and it starts hip firing. You try to aim, it starts firing via ADS. Try to move the crosshair while ADS'd and it just stays frozen in place. Controlling recoil and aiming is practically impossible because the goddamn thing wont register your inputs. Even movement is all over the place. It feels so incredibly random and out of sync, its BEYOND unplayable at this point. Its like helplessly watching your operator do fuck all while youre desperately trying to gain even the slightest amount of control over their actions. u/COD_Mobile_Official please please fix this! The game is absolute nightmare if this bug lingers on!

[HELP] Recover Guest account via guest file

Hello guys, hope you can help me.

I played long time ago on Call of Duty Mobile using a Guest account because I haven't got Facebook. Then I bought a new phone and by browsing randomly to my internal storage files I found a folder named "com.activision.callofduty.shooter" with inside a file called simply "guest"; I decided to backup the folder to my SD Card.

When I installed CoDM on my new phone, I simply put the folder on my internal storage, and voilà! The game recognized my guest account with all the progress. I've no longer played since they removed Zombie Mode and now I wanted to play some matches again. That's the problem: I installed again the game, put the folder in the internal storage, but this time the game doesn't detect my account.. when I tap Guest it asks to create a new account. Do you know a solution for this? My account was named "Topocipolla" but I don't think it can be useful. Any help is appreciated

Operator skills need to stop being nerfed! Devs, do you even play your own game?!

I just read that the Shadow Blade is receiving ANOTHER nerf. It's already so bad it doesn't deserve a place on any loadout imo. Why can't the developers just leave the operator skills alone? They're already so trash their functions can be replaced by regular weapons and equipment.

Operators are meant to be powerful, instead most of them suck. Should the developers buff all operators then leave them alone once and for all?

Does anybody else experience this ?

I have been playing this game regularly since the wild west season. I also played for like two weeks in season 1 . The point is I actually don't care about anything in the game anymore. When I started this year I was excited , there was lot of free stuff to collect kinda kept me busy and happy, lol .

I don't do seasonal challenges because most of them have nothing worthwhile except those challenges which give you guns or perks like NA-45 , Tactician perk and then the axe . I only play Snd ranked (solo) , for two reasons -

  1. no bots

  2. very less chaotic and much more tactical . (compared to other modes in ranked)

I don't play for rank , I play for fun and rank is the last thing I am concerned about. There is no fun in playing against bots or playing with people constantly spamming score streaks (10v10 rust) or molly and defense shields (ranked hardpoint and domination) .

Only time I get excited is when some new gun is released or some new attachment (akimbo fennec) man , it's fun and I actually enjoyed playing with it. I have the BP, cause it was one time investment .

So, yeah I only play one game mode , doesn't care about free skins and is completely indifferent to new season . Does anybody else relate to this ?

P.S. : I am not badmouthing the game or anyone , I am just stating my state and trying to have a discussion if anyone else feels the same way.

Sniper ADS bullet spread accuracy

Even with the patch of the sniper ads bullet spread accuracy was increased i still feel like that its not realistic enough that at close range bullets are spreading right left up and down even if the crosshair is pointed at the enemy. Devs still gotta fix the close up ads bullet spread accuracy

Allow us to host customizable servers on our own devices.

The main reason i thought of this is because you could us it to play via lan or w-lan. (This means having the server locally and not needing an internet connection to play)
This feature would really help the esports scene as playing tournaments with 0-3 ping on a 120 tick server is way better than playing with 15-70 ping on a 12 tick server.
You don’t necessarily have to play locally tho. You could connect the device to the internet and have the server show up in an explore tab similar to csgo.
They could lock this feature behind a paywall to profit of it. This could also allow for custom game modes programmed by the users. There are a lot of possibilities for this.
I hope this is somewhat understandable.
Please point out any mistakes in both language and technical details. I hope to have some good discussion

Two thumbs player looking for a Good HUD to push ranked

Hey guys,
I've been a two thumbs player all along. I was always told that if want to progress i need to switch to 3 or 4 finger layout. I tried it and that just doesn't work for me.

Now i see a lot of posts regarding these 2 thumbs players in legendary around 10k, so that means i can reach legendary in 2 thumbs as well.

I've managed to reach uptil Master 3 and a good HUD might help me forward as well.

Fix Servers

Please fix server problems. I have been getting matched up with Japanese people for 5 days now. I am from Sri Lanka (near India). When I get matched up in their servers my ping is very high (90-120) and can't play like that because when I see them, have already killed me. This has happened so many times before (Mostly in the begging of rank series) but it only lasts about a day or two. This time it has been five days. Please fix this . Theory - DR-H Lucky Draw

So I think that in S12 We're gonna get a DR-H Lucky Draw because with all of the previously locked attachment (High Caliber Ammo, 5.56 Ammo, Akimbo, etc) have all come in a lucky draw.

Because of this, I think that we're going to get a legendary DR-H lucky draw next season since CODM said that this coming season will be militaristic themed.

In the Garena Patch Notes, it also says "DR-H's "Hollow Ammunition Accessories" increases magazine capacity and reduces mobility."

So yeah, tell me what you think.

Request for November 11

So as we all know, Call of Duty Mobile gets the Season 12 update on November 11, which is also Remembrance Day. I think as a tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in World War 1, after everyone downloads the game, when they enter, there is a 1 minute timer that says "Moment of Silence" and "Lest We Forget". After this timer it will have a link to the Call of Duty Endowment site, and then you can go back to the game. Just a small request that I would like Activision to implement into Season 12.

So Activision i saw many youtube videos which are 9-11 months old videos but still this issue isnt solved.The issue is the screen suddenly turns black only in battle royale mode not in multiplayer.Ig it is only a problem in android 10.Can you optimize the br mode for android 10 more? Different layouts for controller players

I know, we all know, that call of Duty mobile wasn't intended for those who wanted to use controllers.
But as time went on, things have changed and now people can play with controllers. But their is one more thing that we, the call of Duty mobile players using controllers need. Rank match system of multiplayer is broke

Does anyone feel that the rank match system in multiplayer is broke, in master 5 if i lose a tdm to like 5to 10 points with decent amount of kills it deducts 30 to 40 points and when i win it only increases 20 points like wtf is this, ik im not so good at the game but still many players r not liking this. Winning a match in hardpoint only increases 20 to 25 points and idk why but im getting matched with full squads of friends playing together and im solo, when i play a match with my squad i always get matched with another squad of friends but when i play in solo i get matched with full squads

Codm has serious lagging problems even with good gaming phones. My topic.

I know that you've seen similar posts on this subreddit. I just wanted to share my codm experience for these past few seasons because I literally possess a good gaming phone and I play every play store game I want on maximum graphics except for CODM.
There are people who have literally spent a lot of money to purchase a good phone and just because the game is laggy they think their device is not well optimized and they feel disappointed for buying it and they're sad..
Like me. But in fact, it's on the game itself.

So, my phone is the ~ Xiaomi Mi 9 ~
For those who don't know.:

Based on Google:
• 440.736 (Antutu v8) which is better than 93% of smartphones.

-6GB RAM
-SD 855
-CPU: Octacore (1x2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.78 GHz Kryo 485)
-GPU: Adreno 640

For those who don't understand these stats:

•I can play PUBG (a literally heavy game for android devices) on maximum graphics and ultra fps without any problems.
•I can play Fortnite (don't even need to mention if it's heavy or not) on Epic settings and 60fps (not every phone can do that).
•I can play NBA2k20 on maximum graphics.
•I can play GTASA on maximum graphics too.

•• I can literally play any game I want on whatever graphic & fps settings I want, without any lagging issue apart from this game.

I had a bad gaming phone and I wasn't planning to spend for any device especially just for one game like codm but the fact that we've seen such a huge development from this company, the fact that more and more players have started to playing it, the fact that its graphics have reached another level now and the new modes and the great skins and bundles that it has now (Outrider Skeleton for example which I'd never thought I could have), the fact that I had raised some mo...

Im a Call Of Duty Mobile player who arrived in season 6. In fact, 5 seasons later, (or 6 seasons later if going dark is released) I never got a chance to get COD points. It costs like $14.99 for COD points to purchase a battle pass. If you tell me to earn some money, NO. i dont want that answer. I want an answer that says yes and add it to the next season. i wish it was added in the mid-season 12. You know some people who gets skins or gun skins get them without wasting money. why can't you help the players out? if you add this converter, Players without COD Points will convert their credits to cod points. you know how they feel? SATISFIED. and they can buy seasonal character skins in the store that costs a COD Credit or COD points. If you add this, your game could have a Positive Impact and some people that have COD points but the crates are making their wallets go to spending, they'd be happy. Battle Royale unplayable on phones with 4GB Ram. #MakeCODMobileGreatAgain

I really hope S12 will bring good performance updates because S11 has been terrible with BR gameplay.

Everytime I load into a match, the game crashes every minute without fail. This makes the whole experience super annoying. I own a Vivo V9 which is a very capable phone with any other game. To be completely honest, at the beginning of S11 the gameplay was playable as in it would not crash every minute, but now, it lags and crashes more than setting 1,000,000 TNT off at the same time in Minecraft.

I play on the lowest graphics with the lowest fps so there is nothing I can do to change it, I just hope the next update will be like a shining light on to the game. I absolutely love the game and the things the developers do to make it greater, but if they could optimise it just a little bit so that we don't have to buy high performance phones in order to play it without lag, that would help everyone I am sure :))

Why tf would you nerf the KRM-262 and the BY-15 next season? (RANT)

Why do you do this, why do you hate shotguns so much CODM? The the two shotguns are fairly balanced but why do nerf it though. Is it because of those little brats on this sub complaining about people with accuracy and skill? The shotguns currently aren't even consistent. Did someone at CODM HQ got butthurt or something, did he got a a little boo boo or do I need to sing a fucking lullaby to him/her. The shotgun's range isn't even that good but you nerfed them anyway, fuck off. Don't tell me in the comments be like "oH tHoSE gUns cAN oNe sHUt pEOple, i Am scaRD wHeR is my mOmmY".
