Ranked games make me feel depressed but I can't stop playing them

At the moment, I don't really enjoy playing Call of Duty Mobile, but for some reason I'm still obsessed with it because I have the goal to become legendary for the third time.
I started playing Cod Mobile 2 seasons ago and I managed to become legendary in both seasons even though I always played with random opponents.
At the moment, I'm stuck at Master 3.
Ranked games make me feel upset and depressed at the same time, because I mostly lose.
After getting about 97EP for winning a S&D game as Mvp, I lose about 5 matches in a row and in the end I don't make any fucking progress.
I spend so much time playing ranked but I just can't fucking manage to become Master 4.
Of course, my movement and aim has improved a lot in the past few weeks. For example, I finally know how to dropshot now and it helps me a lot to win gunfights. One of the reasons why I'd like to continue playing Cod. But it's still depressing as fuck if you're stuck at the same fucking rank for about 2 weeks...
My room mate is really annoyed by me, because I can't stop raging while playing ranked games.. I really try to keep calm but it doesn't work...
That's why I'm currently thinking about deleting Cod Mobile, even though I'd really miss it.
Anyone here who's going trough the same struggle?

Feedback/Bug reports

Stop saying “downvote me if you want”, “please don’t downvote” when posting a bug report or are criticising the game. When you post a meme you don’t say it, so why say it when it’s actually something beneficial to the game? Chances are people will upvote regardless if you say it or not. We can all agree in terms of content, this season has been one of the best if not the best. However, at the same time it’s been filled with bugs, hackers are making a rise again and we’re also experiencing random frame drops. Another thing I would like to say is, if you see that someone has posted a bug report that shows the same issue you are facing, then don’t go and post complaining about it too. It’s common sense. Let’s do this properly and make it easier for the devs to see.

Stop with the bug reports.

As majority if not all of us know cod mobile has been having issues regarding Frame drops, battery depletion, lag, etc. and it’s clearly affecting everyone who plays the game so therefore there is no need for people to constantly post about it.

This community has had been flooded with nothing but constant reports on how the game is breaking and obviously it’s the same issues as mentioned by previous people so there is no reason to keep posting about the issues since so many people have done so already.

I’m positive the Devs have seen the posts and are actively working to try and fix it!

Are the Purifier and the War Machine to strong in br?

I’ve been playing a lot of Alcatraz to get into the top 5% recently and I think that the operator skills in loot drops and especially the purifier and war machine are to strong. The purifier kills you in what feels like a second and the war machine takes 3 hits that don’t have to be direct hits to kill you. All this while you have a level 3 vest and a adrenaline on.

Anniversary event rewards

According to the details of the event, you were supposed to receive all lower tiered rewards once you were able to rank up in the leaderboard.
I wanted that badass skin, instead I was just rewarded an ugly charm and the box, not the skin.
Why??????? That makes no sense. I grinded and grinded to be in the top 1% but I don't get all the rewards? Not even the one skin that I wanted?
I should've just stopped cashing the points in once I was at 5%, this makes no sense.

My (personal) problem with overheating and desync and a question that comes by all of that.

So, even when I downloaded the game (I can't remember well, one or two months after it's release) I had always have problems with desyncing and extreme overheating; note that overheat comes by extreme heat but that overheating was extreme itself, that was all because my phone is a really average device, It was a miracle that It even was able to run the game but at some point It was playable.

For a lot of you It seems like It started with the release of the new Season or even with the last Season, but for me this problems started when Season 6 was released, it started with those desyncs and the overheating started just by starting the game but I always tought It was my phone since this was the only game I had in It, that because I know my phone doesn't have enough good software to run a game smoothly enough. But since that Season It was harder and harder to play... that was the first Season when I didn't get all the rewards, even from challenges (events, and BP) also couldn't be able to get to the Max level of the BP because of extreme lagging just when I changed my internet service from 3 MB to 50 MB so I know it wasn't my network. Since that Season I can't be able to complete almost any BP or do all my challenges to get free skins, weapons or operator abilities. I bought my first premium BP in Season 9 because I wanted Richtofen so bad, then, my mistake was to pay It when the Season started so I couldn't try first the game; the game ran at 6-10 FPS in the main menu, so you can imagine now how It ran during matches. I wasted my money and only reached level 40 of the BP that Season, because It was unplayable; couldn't get Nikolai because of the same reason and he was also a character I wanted so bad, the next Season couldn't get the feral M4 from the challenges and a lot of rewards from other events, because of the same stupid reason and almost couldn't make It to level 50 of the BP (I had to pay again because of the last Season couldn't get enough CP to Buy the new BP without paying again), but I always tough...

My BR history in one post as i had never played any BR before CodM

S2 got killed by zombie as i didn't understand why there were zombies but managed to win a full bot lobby. S3 camped like hell and died as soon as there was a real player gunfight. S4 discovered ninja and won some battles by grappling to weird places got 11 wins in solos. S5 discovered chip terminal made me a silent ninja and became very tactical and improved to 35 solo wins. S6 every fucker got annoyed with ranked and started playing BR and they were kicking my ass. S7 Every fucker is playing alcatraz but I'm still on isolated and have my best season so far with 20 solo wins in first 2 weeks. S8?????????

WTF is it with random MP?

Been trying to play S&D and TDM in pubs and every game is one of the shitty small maps, Shipment, Cage, Killhouse and my favorite, that shithole Nuketown. I’m sick of being shoved into these crap maps. I guess you have to pick a specific map to avoid being shoehorned into one of these. I hate the small maps, especially for TDM, they are stupid.

Guys I have a problem.

Guys I have a problem. What happens is that at 6:54 p.m. (Mexico time) I had more than 19000 points to unlock the mercenary but at the time I write this 7:11 p.m. (Mexico time), they only gave me the business card and batch 2, this bothers me because I spent several hours in Alcatraz just for the skin but not receiving it is something quite frustrating and I don't know what to do.

Bonk challenge?

You guys should try a challenge i made up, bonk challenge. If any of you has the bat/axe(any melee weapon is okay but bat/axe is preferred), just go on a rampage without using your gun unless very necessary. Just use your melee and go on a full rampage.

Duplication Problem

Is there a petition or anything to remove duplicates from COD mobile? Because I have gotten the same two duplicate items from the going dark crate like 10 times in a row. Every time I open the chest, no matter how many chests I stack it’s the same wavelength wing suit and umbrella every time. I’m sure I’ve made up to 200 credits just from these duplicates alone. I need your help and your prayers 🙏. From what I’ve seen they generally listen to the community so guys please help.

Before we get into this, let me say this first. This is not every single bug I have faced. I cannot possibly even remember all of them. Also, I play on an iPad pro 2020, more than capable of running all my other games. It even ran cod mobile extremely well, up until s9 or so.

Desync
Invisible enemies at any distance
Joystick not responding
Frame drops
Freezing
Getting teleported around the map even though my ping is around 20 ms
Abnormally high ping, even though I have strong, fast internet
Orientation problems (screen will orientate upside down randomly, and will do the opposite of what you are doing. Never happens on any other game)
Hits not registering
Gun models just disappearing
Game straight up crashing
Challenges not showing up
Buttons not responding (rare bug)
Transform shield not deploying
Needing to press a button 2-3 times for it to do anything (in main screen, gunsmith menu, etc.)
Falling through map
Vehicles in standoff levitating
Noclipping through walls (only happened once so far)
Not being able to deploy a nuke in AoTU
Pressing the death machine button and having to wait an Abnormal amount of time for the damn thing to appear in AoTU

I'm sure there's more bugs that I missed, but here is all of the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

My issues in BR as of right now - Noob's Thoughts

Hey guys, Noob here!

You may have seen me post about the most game-breaking bug I suffered in a Ranked/live Battle Royale (BR) match. I've also noticed that I've been killed in what appears to be in less than 100ms especially against real players.

TL; DR: BR needs to be take player experiences into account when creating patches for the game in later public releases.

So here's some thoughts:

Increase the base TTK in BR.

On both lower-end devices and emulators, this issue is what turns people off when playing any kind of ranked mode. You see a player making a turn around a corner. Within 100ms, you're already at 16% health, and your Level 2 armour is already in the red. Do you run away and then heal? Do you keep the pressure on?

Players are getting themselves quitting out of frustration (like me) as they are quickly killed by a camper. What's the point of wearing armour plates then? Is it not supposed to resist bullets? Allow players to take a chance to counter attack.

Healing takes way too long.

An adrenaline shot should not take as long as 7.5 seconds to pull out and use. Have the health meter show a progressive climb (like how the Hemostatic shows a steady climb of health when deployed). This allows you to cancel the full heal, but allow you to gain a fraction of the normal 150 health.

Current model: I receive 70 points of damage from a bot. I shoot the bot in the head. After moving to cover, I deploy an Adrenaline Shot as I am now at 30 Health. However, yet another bot has 'heard' my shots and enters the room. I cancel the Adrenaline shot (still at 30) and am killed. I yeet my phone into the bin.

New model: When the second bot has entered the room and noticed me, I have used approximately 60% of the 150 health (based off the healing circle thing). This means that I will receive 90 points of health, putting me at 120 health. I can still survive a few hits from the second b...

What do you guys think on Fergs new video?

I know this is a bit of a controversial topic but what do yall think on IFergs sniper video. The video seemed like a very average one that has been overhyped. He talked about being in a flow state to snipe. Like thats how you play with any gun. He also said how to become the No.1 sniper in 24 hours. Firstly, every comp sniper can easily clap his cheeks soooo easily. Secondly the montage lacked the usual energy and IFerg vibe all of his videos really send. Do yall also think he tried to overdo this montage and failed bit? Lemme know in the comments.

PS.- This is not intended as hate towards Ferg. I really usually love his videos and have been with him since the ROS days. I just felt like that video was lacking something.

Transform shield is OP beyond understanding.

I just played 5 games of domination and everytime got rekt by people using transform shield.
It's so OP I can't even understand why it exists.
It's indestructible, deals dmg and slows you... WTF?
Shield + trophy combo can't be countered.
You shoot at people? They just go prone.
You throw a molotov? Bad luck, they put a trophy down.
You rush them? Die from microwave dmg.

First team to rush B literally wins the game and there is nothing you can do about it.

Cmon fix this update - FPS is so choppy.

The FPS of the game literally isn’t even playable anymore. I play on a older device the iPhone 8 which I enjoy doing in the last update since the new update and patches, It freezes and chops every F****g time especially when I’m right in from of an enemy trying to shoot. It sucks. Can’t even play and record anymore cause of this. Cmon CoD. You where doing great don’t mess it all up 1 year after. And yes I’ve been playing since the first season, I have literally watch this lil franchise turn into a beast.

It's Just Not Fair😭😭😭😭

In a world where there is nothing fair, toxic players say that using the Tower in High Rise or using the glitch in Summit is not fair. Grow up. Improve your gameplay. Ever since the new season, I have been experiencing frame drops, lagging, ping spikes, empty screens and disconnections. Why?

I have never experienced this before and I’ve been playing since Season 2. It’s not my phone (XS Max) and it’s not my internet (normal ping is 40). I have over 100 GB of free space. Is COD Mobile experiencing issues with their servers? If so, it has been going on since the beginning of the season - why hasn’t it been fixed?

The 1 Year Anniversary is completely trash 🗑. The Anniversary events are trash. Seasonal events are trash and I really hate it. No free legendary weapons they didn’t give us. New graphics feels like you’re playing PUBG and I hate it. They said multiple weapons coming to Season 11 but they lied. They add 2 new weapons in the game. This game is trash and scam.

A few things I'd really like to see in cod mobile:

Just like the previous Call of duty games, I really want every map in the game to be available for all gamemodes at all times. I believe this would make the game more fun, and definitely add on to the replayability because you have more choices, and not all matches you join wont feel the same after a while. I hate playing the same old maps on certain gamemodes because I cant play any other map currently in the game because it isnt available on that gamemode. For example, playing attack of the undead on firing range sounds like a lot of fun but I cant play that map on that gamemode because it isnt available for it. Please please make every single map you add, and every single map currently in the game available for every gamemode, I dont see why not.
The second thing I'd like to see in the game is the removal of bots. I hate having an all bots team then end up losing because the enemy team was filled with actual people. Please please remove the bots, bots make the game boring. Knowing that I could be fully playing against real people would be awesome, and would make the game a lot more fun.
The third thing I'd like to see in the game is that all gamemodes are available at all times. Having to wait for a gamemode you like to come out again is such a pain. I dont think limited time gamemodes add replayability. If that limited time gamemode is a holiday special or something then I'd understand. If I log on then I dont see the gamemode I want to play then I wouldnt feel like playing anymore. I just really want more things to be available instead of just removing it.

That is all for what I really want to see in the game. I'd freaking love this cod game if it had this stuff in it. I dont speak for anybody else, and anyone is free to disagree with me but this would really be one of my fav COD games if it was like this. The previous cod games were like this, so why isn't this one? I dont dislike this cod, I've had some fun times playing it, but I just couldn't enjoy playing the game recently knowing that these simple ...

Phone heats up way too much.

What the hell is wrong with this subreddit?

I have noticed that helpful posts like Bug reports and feedback gets less upvotes, while random posts like "Hey!Can we get this skins?" :OMG! I got it on my first draw" gets over 1K upvotes. No only that helpful posts gets more downvotes then random posts.Why?Just Why?What do these people want? Skins and stuffs more then optimization? I don’t get why Garena version of CODM doesn’t get all the features global players get. The Easter eggs for the Anniversary event at the Club all do not work and we cannot redeem any of the free stuff that CODM gives to global players, why is that so? And when I first entered the Club in CODM, they mentioned the Easter eggs at the welcome screen so why are we excluded? I tried doing all Easter eggs and they interacted as they should, the poster caught on fire, the bottles were knocked over by the ball and the darts worked fine but I don’t get any code, I also tried using the code that I found from YouTube to redeem the BiSH emote but they said player details invalid when I keyed in my UID, same goes to when there was the Sakura skin...

Lots of people are crying over the Outrider skins being released again. Most people are angry cause they re-released an OG skin instead of being mad cause it released for much lower price. Some people started using other OG skins so they can flex on people by calling themselves an OG cause they cant flex anymore with the outrider skin.Yes, some people are angry cause it is now released for lower price and that's an understanble thing but most people here are angry cause they cant flex on people with that skin anymore. Why is CODM so laggy this season?

I have an iPhone 11 and I recently bought it, it has over 90gb free of space and on a charger while I play CODM. My device wasn’t hot at all but why is this season so laggy. I used to be able to play at very high settings max frame rate, not anymore. CODM devs please remove whatever you added That’s making the gameplay suck. Even after lowering graphics I still lag, everything is so chunky.

Tinfoil Theory - Sometimes COD AI Is "rigging" battle royale games.

So, I think sometimes COD AI is playing against me in battle royale. for example if I have too much wins in a row and there are 2 teams left in the final cicrle my screen rotates automatically (Screen rotation is turned off on my phone but still) and I lose game. Sometimes, when 2 teams are left I can't heal. nothing happens when pressing buttons, only voice that u pressed buttons... and you lose. And sometimes my Aim "fixes" on different directions and you cant aim fast enough and you lose.

I think devs should stop porting stuffs from MW

You guys already know that Ghost loose ends, vector,Echo,etc are ported form MW,right? Stuffs in MW are heavily detailed because infinity ward went for realism for MW. And this is also one of the reason why the game is lagging nowadays, its because of the details. I know details makes the game look much better but it heavily impacts the gameplay and optimization. Details on the stuffs we get nowadays is pretty border crossing for a mobile game cause not all mobile devices are that strong enough to handle those details. So it would be better if you make the stuffs less detailed so we can play the game peacefully with more FPS. FPS and gameplay>Details

I swear i had enough of people who lay the fuck down when i’m about to kill them and survive with 1 hp. If you did something like this in real life you would be more than dead. It’s unrealistic and inconvenient. Devs should increase the time proning and you shouldn’t be able to aim high when proned.

Trap Master: Visible Lasers,30 damage if the player doesn't stays in the trap, slow health draining(So people will have more chance to escape it)

Clown: More zombies,Faster zombies, more health for zombies,more damage

Trickster:More decoys,no visible shoulder lights, more intelligent AI for the decoys( Because the decoys movement is so dumb that people can easily understand that it is a decoy)

Poltragetist: Faster cooldown, invisible while flying

Mechanic:Faster cooldown, much harder to escape the drone

Devs - We literally cannot play the game until the overheating issue is fixed : iPhone XR

I started a Ranked Match with 44% battery on my iPhone XR. By the time the match started my phone was already getting hot. After the match my battery was at 34%

Earlier I could play 6-7 matches until the phone got 'warm' and battery would only go down by 10%

To save the health of my battery which I already assume has degraded since the last few days, I will no longer be launching the game. Please fix or atleast announce that you acknowledge the issue.

Does The M4 Needs A Buff?

The Way Activision Handle The m4 in codm is very different like the mw, ik this game is a mix of bo3,mw, or maybe other cod games, since the hg40 is secretly nerfed, they secretly buffed the m4 fire rate, from 680 to 700rpm, that fire rate is kinda viable,the attachment on the m4 is also very versatile,the barrel tho, but it can't compete with other gun with faster time to kill, 362 ttk is slow for a 700rpm

Next season plans

Okay the game needs maintenance this season has been the best season so far in my opinion just because the amount of content that they gave us but seriously the game is absolutely littered with bugs and glitches frame rate drops and desync it’s getting ridiculous I love the game and it want it to have a long life span but that won’t happen if the game isn’t optimized so PLEASE devs focus on the maintenance next season I know they roll out patches and bug fixes but there’s still a lot of problems we don’t need a brand new shiny lucky draw every 2 weeks we need a polished game I’m not saying completely neglect the content but the game needs a lot of works

Gameloop emulator not rendering in 1080p

Before I get downvoted for playing a mobile game on emulator this is just temporary I have an annoying bug on my phone because of which I can't play on mobile and hopefully it gets solved in the next update.

The problem with gameloop is that even when I have selected 1080p in both the settings it still launches the window at 720p. I always knew the graphics didn't look good like the ones on YouTube but Today when I was recording with shadow play I found out that the video was 720p which was set to be the same as source.

Is there a way to play the game on 1080p.

Question : Is to possible to have different control layouts on different devices?

I play mostly on my 16:9, 10.5 inch tablet when I'm home. So made my custom layout based on that screen. However, when I'm outside i use my mobile which is like 20:9 aspect ratio, 6.7 inch screen.

Due to that, screen buttons layout are very weird on my mobile. If I change on my mobile, then it changes on my tab as well.

Is there any option to keep layout different for my mobile and my tablet?

well, I found a few new locations. as of this moment I haven't visited canyon view. I have visited a few locations and unlocked one achievement so far WALKABOUT. There are 5 others achievements that I know of, one of which I believe it will be unlocked for getting the other 4 I'm still missing. the Mandala is accesible throug the atlantis room, the stone ring shack is accesible through the chasm, and the dam base leads you across a bridge to the Gru. I've kicked over the barrel in the room with the gru, and after getting the walkabout title, you can find the catapult from the Reservoir South room. If anyone has any info on helping me complete it past this point, it would be greatly appreciated...also, I've aquired the 'key with a mandala-shaped handle'. I haven't figured out the use for it yet... ill update as I figure more stuff out, just looking to put together more info as things progress..

Save build doesn't work

Copy a blueprint, select the newly saved blueprint, Make changes save it again in the same slot. Now use this newly saved blueprint in another loadout, the changes are gone and the default blueprint attachments are applied. Fix it please.

FPS drops? Desync?

This is the seventh time I'm posting this due to mods deleting it everytime but we need to raise awareness about the insane fps drops on low-medium end devices and high end devices overheating. Amount of FPS drops before season 11 = 0
Amount of FPS drops after season 11 = Didn't count but assure you that it's more than 50
Basically what I'm trying to say is that there is a major optimization issue and you need to fix it before you start losing 70-80% of your community which plays on low end devices. The desync also needs to be mentioned. It's more than ever now. They said they fixed it but I don't see any improvement, I only see it being more worse.

Guys just wanna say something. Even if I’m I’m in garena frame drops and lag is like real frequent here. Also the loading screen when you open codm is r e a l slow. I’m using an iPhone 8 and before, game worked like clockwork.Now, don’t even try and talk about it. Tips:
If your phone constantly overheats, put a small pack of ice under the phone. If frame drop ALWAYS happens, dump the graphics to real low and other stuff to the lowest thing possible. I hope it works. Bye for now.

I cannot shoot some players

Anyone else running into the glitch where you can't shoot players and they don't have red outline.
Recently one game ranked arena at master 1 have of the enemy team was unshootable by me and they didn't have red outline so all I could do was run, throw a Molotov and hope for my teammate to get the kill as throwables are the only thing that deal damage and them dying is the only mid game fix for this, oh and this happens in every game mode including king but excluding solo isolated.
Codm please fix this

Missing inventories.

Returned to codm after a while (around 5 months), lots if new really great stuffs but my stuffs that I purchased or grinded are now gone.
