What's wrong with ranked?

Hi guys, am i doing something wrong? Or is the matchmaking fucked this season.

I keep losing almost every ranked match i play.
I know i aint the best player in the world but i can hold my own. However this season i keep losing alsmost al the time today for example ik played 12 matches but won only 3 of them!!!!

Is it just me or are other players facing this problem ?

Devs, do something with low-end devices...

Since recent S:11, the gaming on my iPhone became literary impossible. I wasn’t playing in S:10, but downloaded it few days before the launch of S:11. I haven’t experienced bad performance at all. No lags, freezes, device overheating etc.

However, since S:11 like I said before the gaming on my IPhone became impossible. I have an IPhone 7 ( yes, not the best for COD:M) yet could have run the game on Low preset with High frame rate which was enough.

Since this season I cannot even play with Low preset and Low frame rate without my phone starts overheating... it happens at absolutely times. All apps closed, but COD:M.

I should be at least able to play on Low preset and Medium frame rate to have a more or less ok experience. I’m not asking you to give me max settings, just bring back what we had past seasons.

I also have heard that the graphics became better this season, well, I don’t care about graphics. Give me an opportunity to have everything at 360p with good frame rate and I would be happy with it.

So optimize it. I was satisfied with what I had before. Now I can’t even normally play a game without my phone starts overheating. And no, it’s not a phone problem, it happens only when call of duty open.

Hope one of the devs actually sees it.

What is going to happen to Alcatraz after the 22 days is up?

Personally, Alcatraz is so damn refreshing. I'm a big fan of BR and having the option between Isolated and Alcatraz is a pretty cool thing to have. But I see it has a countdown timer. What will happen to Alcatraz after this is up? Will it be reverted to a normal BR mode without the redeployment/4 lives system or will it be removed and added in like Warfare?

Ummm Great Time

Been a great time in this server!! Unfortunately it's come to an end as I have been handed an unjust ban which is irreversible....... Would have been longer if auto-cheat was fixed but I am sad it has come in this way.

Either way we had good Devs. But no good way of detecting actual cheaters. Legit cheaters are still in the game and innocents are being removed. Either way it was a good time till it lasted. Hope y'all have a great time ahead GG

Can I still get banned for using a vpn that is in the same country I am in?

Ok I don’t want to test it out, but for certain school WiFi, I use a free vpn that changes my ip to something local, such as San Jose or Los Angeles. It works for Minecraft, and some other apps but I was wondering if it was a bad idea to use it for cod mobile. As I am returning to school soon, and WiFi is bad there, would I still get banned for using a vpn even if the vpn doesn’t switch my ip to some other country?

recently was playing S&D when apparently no one could see my smoke and I was getting shot through it. I would be behind smoke and get killed, but in the killcam there would be no smoke. this is irritating and evs, please fix this.

  • Reason of ban: I wasn’t given a reason, however, my mobile carrier uses a DNS that blocks reddit (and other websites), hence I had to download the 1.1.1.1 app from AppStore (I use iOS) to change the DNS, but apparently it was a VPN and probably got banned when I tried to play COD Mobile using the “DNS changer” 1.1.1.1 app.
  • Why I should be unbanned: The use of the 1.1.1.1 app was a rookie mistake since I thought it only changed the DNS, I didn’t know it was actually a VPN :)

How to tell if someones cheating

Iv seen some strange stuff lately, thats got me puzzled. In br mode . A enemy literaly ran through a wall to get at me, where i was there was no window or doorway and yet i saw this guy come through the wall and smoke me. Have also been shot through walls. Is this possible or a glitch or cheating?

Someone help me lol

It seems like every time I get on Cod Mobile to play I’m always forced to quit and have even deleted the app out of frustration multiple times only to download it again in a repetitive cycle. I play Battle Royals a lot but recently I haven’t been able to because of constant lagging, glitching, and the game stopping out of nowhere. It’s extremely frustrating because I just want to be able to play regularly. Can someone help me is there anything I can do to make the game playable?

Disconnect issue + desync still happening

Ever Simce Augest there Will be a period where the Game IS literally unplayable i go un a Game and shots don't register my ping IS 50-60ms but its as if i had 200ms. But It Will get back to normal and I don't have that problem agian but after like 4 days of good Gameplay the Game starts with that issue agian i reportes It like 3 times now and its still happening

Codm & wifi usage thru the roof

I've upgraded my internet to 1Gig speeds due to the kids attending school online this year. I've recieved a wifi usage warning last month and so far this month I'm at 90% usage and my billing cycle isn't even closed. I think CODM is using up my wifi at an alarming rate! Yes, switching over to data usage would eliminate this issue but my data here sucks ass at times. Its good at home for everyday usage but on CODM it's glitchy af most of the game, annoying when you're getting shot at during BR 😂😂😂🙄

Is anyone else having this issue? Any othwr fix(es)?

My next step is to call Xfinity/Comcast and see what they say. Thanks for the help!!

Battle royale performance

I play with an iPad 6th gen, and my battle royale fps is almost unplayable. Even on low graphics with high framerate, it feels below 30. However in multiplayer i can easily run high graphics with high framerate and its super smooth. My question is why arent the framerate options the same for mp and br, even if my graphics are set to low in br? Also for context, i used to run pubg on low graphics and very high framerate, and ran just as smooth as codm mp, so i definitely think my ipad is capable of handling more codm br frames

Dear devs

Magically none here u/COD_Mobile_Official complained or talked about it. but it's seriously bug which make game more broken. Molotov is 1 shot kill with a trick, specially using a shotgun with slug Mag. Or even icr which only few know that trick and giving them bad advantage in the game.hope you look into this. but for me there is 4 things need a balance ( ICR, HG40, Molotov, trophy system), if you don't believe me, send one of your team to play game and check him self to verify what I'm talking about, even hawknest posted about that in his video

Ranked SnD players opinion on the melee weapon plague.

I play Ranked Search and destroy exclusively and solo q. But I am also a smg player, qq9 and fennec. My question is on small maps how do I deal with people running around like their TKO and just knifing me. My aim is the iffy and I could laser people one game then miss all my shots the next game. Obviously I can’t just keep a distance because they have guns too, I use smgs, and i like staying in tight spaces so I won’t get killed from behind/not to get caught off guard in a open area. How do y’all deal with this, it’s insanely annoying and the range of the axe/bat is way farther than it looks.

Why can't Alcatraz be solos?

I like the mode and it's fun, but as a lonely guy it's hard because randoms are so unpredictable. I let them know there is a guy here with us but they ditch me and I always have to deal with the guys following them, not to mention I have to do that in fear I got from the dollar store. Why does Desync kick in, around a week after New seasons start?

so, long story short, I noticed that desync does not happen at the beginning of new ranked seasons from my observations of ranked season 6 and now 7.

A couple of days in and as soon as I get to legendary or maybe even around Master V, half of my shots stop registering, or register too late that it makes me wonder how I got the kill or why I didn't get the kill yet after I emptied my mag on someone and moved on, only to get the kill 2 seconds later as if it was a power rangers enemy kill show.
I also get killed with 1 or 2 shots from 4 or 5 shot-kill guns (probably because the enemy already hit me before I even saw them pop on my screen and the killcams are based on my view?)
Problem is, the desync does not only happen in ranked but also in pubs in full bot lobbies which is so weird, I would assume a bot lobby would be the closest thing to a single player where it would depend on your view completely.

I genuinely do not understand it tho, the game works smoothly for the first week of the season then for the rest of the 2 months, it's absolutely horrible.

I am playing on ipad pro 2018 6 gb ram and with stable connection of 60mb/15mb ping is always 35 to 40.. never less and never more. I am 100% sure it has nothing to do with my device nor with my connection.

Any idea what's up with that? this questions is mainly for the developers, but would be also great if anyone else has a solution.

Yo devs you got any intentions for adding servers for Africa

Hey u/Cod_Mobile_Official African players are at a huge disadvantage,we have to play on the eu servers which means our ping is always above 80 while people in EU have Lower pings.Not only is this annoying but it makes tournaments,scrims etc way harder than it would've been with a lower ping.All I ask is for a response as to whether you have intentions on doing it or not because I find it wrong that most other continents have servers while Africa has none.Activision is a multi billion dollar company surely some server improvements and adding servers won't be a problem

Do you think skins should be recolored ?

I’ve seen a recolor of Urban Tracker for the Chinese version of the game the ppl that didn’t get the original are hyped for it ! but in my opinion it’s a really lazy recolor of the original model I feel like if they bring it to global then it’s just to please the ppl that’s been begging for it.. if they recycle certain characters especially BP characters they should at least RESKIN the character instead of doing a lazy recolor for example ! Tank Dempsey - wrecker looks way different from the original Tank Dempsey it pleased the ppl that couldn’t get the original and it also didn’t take away any type of value from the first Dempsey that ppl grinded for..now recolors for basic characters like the merc or the special force characters are fine but characters like Ghost , Price or Mace should always get a different variant just my opinion.

New AK-47 ammo bugged?

I did side by side testing and it seems as if the new ammo conversion doesn't increase rate of fire. And because of the loss of damage you get, the new ammo is essentially useless.

What if double tapping the grenade button quick throwed the selected item (grenade, smoke, trophy system, etc.)

Basically the title. It wouldn’t show the red throwing guideline, and maybe the range would be more limited, as it would be more of a toss. Ithink it would add more diversity to gameplay and make situations more versatile in your options, as well as make trophy systems easier to put down. There would be drawbacks, like you would need to have the item you wanted to throw already selected. Thoughts?

a bug on camos

so when update dropped i went to play some alcatraz maps and decided to try out the new fennec smg , i played with it for a whille managed to raise it to lvl 19 before i aquired it on battlepass but , because of that , camos i unlocked before aquiring the gun just didnt unlock even with conditions meet , here is some pics of what happened

The hype for Overkill and Restock

Um....yeah I do agree that Overkill and Restock are good, but can we all agree the fact that they are blatantly overpowered and the game needs to be fixed and balanced before they are officially released.

Ok let me explain: imagine this loadout: HG-40(with no stock of course, for all pros and sweats out there) and Locus(Stopping Power + full ADS speed), a Molly / Trip Mine and a Trophy System , perks are Overkill, Ghost and Sharpnel, that can be the most annoying shit you will ever have to encounter.

The second one you have to encounter is an aggerssive loadout, you can imagine it yourself.

Restock.....you know it and I know it. Molly spam will be 100 times worse.

Bug with the kill cam

I was just playing ranked multiplayer and I got the final two kills using the equalizer but on the final kill cam it showed me spraying the equalizer like I had infinite ammo or something this can mislead players into thinking that you’re hacking it’s bad enough ppl are still getting false banned please look into this !

Maybe I'm in the minority. Sometimes I wished I could play a mode without operator skills and scorestreaks. Same everything else about MP bit removed Skills and Scorestreaks. I'm not sure if this existed before in COD. I've been patiently waiting for an MP mode like this.

Y’all feel like some actual players do a little to much damage

Now call me crazy but I just had a game in BR we are a player with his HBR dropted on me and killed me the killed me in twice time of a regular HBR it was very quickly and there was no lag spike or nothing, nothing to do with Internet and I’ve actually been seeing this since like season three and this has always come To my attention call ever had an experience like that.

Is it me or did they buff trapmaster this season?

Last season it was anoying but nothing too extreme, I usually play solo BR and 1v1 with trapmaster mains wasn't an issue, if I ever got hit by it an adrenaline would do. This season I've seen the trap halve my health unpon the first hit and kill me in a matter of seconds, all this while I'm healing myself and not being hit by anyone else. There's been at least two occasions in which I got hit by a trap, killed the camper without taking any damage from him and yet died because I couldn't heal myself on time from the trap, it's gotten kind of annoying and it's becoming a deal breaker for me in BR at least.

Its hard to play CODM

Especially when you're a two thumb player and your against people who uses tablets and 4 or 3 fingers to play. I'm not ranting or anything but you know I think I'm gonna retire and delete this game its kinda hard to play using 4 or 3 fingers so to anybondy who knows how to play 4 or 3 fingers you're talented bye bye CODM I'll just stick to Warzone.

What I would change for BR

BR is kind of unbalanced so I decided to create a list of my own balance changes. I will recommend some for CODM and others I won´t be sure about.

- Remove adrenalines (recommended)

-Nerf level 3 vest´s damage reduction to 40% (recommended)

-Increase damage, range, and accuracy of all weapons specifically for BR (recommended)

Weapons will have almost double the accuracy, damage will be increased to nullify armor slightly, and range will be increased significantly for all weapons.

-Nerf trap master to deal 40 damage over 10 seconds (recommended)

-Optimize ninja, allow it to grapple to ledges so you can climb up, and increase range by 20-40 percent

-Increase movement, decrease first shot accuracy of bots, allow bots to control for recoil (recommended)

Note: The next change will not only be for br but also will cross over to mp, but it will only be the below change that crosses over

-Add movement speed penalty to Echo´s 25 round drum

- Increase speed of zombies from clown class so they can catch up to you fast if you are walking

-Make hacker say Hollywood style ¨I´m in¨ when he is done. Idk man

Bonus: Potentially controversial changes

-Remove adrenaline entirely and introduce armor plate system. This was also recommended by path.exe himself, check out u/P4THF1ND3R67

-Nerf the auto shotguns. It´s fine to be two tapped by a KRM but by an Echo? No way.

-Introduce the UAV from PUBGM. They copy us, we copy them.

-Instead of dog tags, perhaps a comms tower to call reinforcements

-Change downed crawl from original BR to crawling either in a shaking ¨army crawl¨ position or the warzone crawl position

-Add the wolves back. Yknow, the Cerberus boss?

-Introduce a ¨Blitz¨ mode for regular BR map. Instant circle, smaller map, no redeployments, 5 minute games

I seem to have lost the motivation to play lately.

Does anyone else is going through that burnout phase? The last time I was hyped up and and playing cod was in the Radioactive Agent Season, and I have taken a long ass break after that.

I just cant get myself to play at all. The only reason I log in daily and play a few matches is to get daily rewards and complete tier 50. I want to be motivated again but just don't know how.

I have to be doing something wrong here because for the life of me I can’t get good value out of the Fennec

I simply can’t find value in it over literally any other SMG. It has a fast TTK, but you have to reload after pretty much every kill. Theoretically each mag houses enough for multiple kills, but often by the time hit reg catches up with the fire rate of the weapon and kills the target, you’ve burned through more than half your mag. I am a decent shot, I can aim most weapons fairly well. What is the trick I’m missing?

In regards to the code we get from "Burning Posters", has anyone got any news in regards to redeeming that code on the site? All I have to go on is playing zork on the terminal, which I eventually got killed and dunno how to restart the game and get the garlic back...anyway...no official way to redeem my code...

Pulled item i already had from draw

So.. I thought we weren't supposed to draw items we already had. I was around since day 2, I had the grenade from the first Halloween draw, and I just pulled it again, thought if we had it we weren't going to pull it again? Or am I wrong?

Devs if you're seeing this, please lower the volume of T.E.D.D's voice commands or add the option to adjust the volume level of your character's commands.

The title. It's so loud, my ears hurt after some time and it covers all the other gun/footstep sounds. Sometimes I get terribly scared even when no enemy is around because T.E.D.D suddenly starts shouting inside my ear. I was so excited to finally play with this character but it's literally unplayable. There's no option to adjust the character's volume separately as well.

Ruined Experience

I recently dove back into COD Mobile after getting the itch to play games again and holy fuck is this game ruined with people using emulators.

Not even emulators, applications to stream their device to their computer and have inputs overlayed onto the screen so it's literally impossible for Tencent to do anything as of they cared in the first place.

Every single game I get at least a person who clearly is using a different input method.

Changing the function of the class "hacker" in battle royale

Hi cod.I think that the hacker class in br is useless as it only blur the enemy minimap as we took so long to hack the enemies while the hacker tablet block off whole screen.I would like if u would change the function to messing up the enemies minimap like taking gun shooting and faking footsteps.Please take it to consideration.Thanks!
