Settings help

So I've been playing Cod mobile for awhile now, and, not to brag, but I'm good at the game. I'm not sure of my k/d, but I usually place mvp no matter the map. I used default settings, and the controls felt super precise and fast. If I aimed at an enemy, I knew where to swipe to instantly snap the reticle on my target. If I needed to strafe out of fire, no problem, swipe to the left or right. I had been playing on a Motorola Moto Z3. Even at the time of it's release, it's considered an entry to mid level phone. The game ran smoothly on medium quality graphics and high framerate. I dominate. Until today. I just got my brand new galaxy s20 FE 5G in today. Yes FE is a tier below the standard s20, but still light years ahead of the moto z3. I couldn't wait to see the performance on this thing. I couldn't wait to dominate in high def. But this game now feels unplayable. What used to be precise, fast, instant snap quick controls, now feel floaty and all over the place. I literally feel like I'm floating as I'm running and strafing. I feel like I'm floating in slow mo as I'm aiming, and my aim is all over the place. It feels over sensitive, yet not sensitive enough at the same. It's like the game is reading my muscles twitch and is aiming accordingly. It feels like when I aim at a target, it floats instead of snaps, then floats in a circle, never staying on target, and I'm constantly correcting from left to right to stay on target. Does anyone on this forum have any idea of how I can tweak my settings to fix this? Or is it just the super responsiveness and sensitivity of this phone, and I can't do anything about it. Any help would be appreciated

Does reporting someone actually work?

Just now I was in a match Domination Nuketown and everything seems fine until both teams were close to winning than all of the sudden someone figure out when someone was spawning, the exact spot and killed him ultimately winning the game. The username is Wolf121 if anyone recognizes that username.

Performance boost for cod mobile

i have found a way to boost performance on cod mobile on my phone this wont just apply to cod mobile but other games too it decreases the resolution on your phone lowering the gpu load and possibly increasing battery life

You will need a computer for this but trust me this is simple its not rocket science

you will also need adb (android debug bridge) installed and proper usb debugging drivers for your phone and you also need usb debugging turned on

im not going to explain the basics and how to install adb you can easily google this but here are the adb commands once you got adb running in a terminal

lower resolution adb cmds

./adb shell wm size 360x480

./adb shell wm density 72

Back to normal adb cmds

./adb shell wm size 720x1280

./adb shell wm density reset

see its a simple copy and paste once adb is installed the lower resolution part of course lowers the resolution and the back to normal commands bring it back to normal

if your phones res is lower or higher than 1280x720 than change the resolution in the back to normal command from ./adb shell wm size 720x1280 to ./adb shell wm size reset or your phones resolution for example if your phones resolution is 1920x1080 change the command ./adb shell wm size 720x1280 to ./adb shell wm size 1920x1080 also the ./adb shell wm density 72 its to get the lower resolution to fit on screen as best as possible on my phone depending on your phone you will have to adjust it to fit better the best i was able to get it on my phone there were a couple black bars on the top and bottom when in vertical oriantation and on the sides when in horizontal orientation so its not ideal for everyday use so thats why i reccomend setting it back to normal after your cod mobile or pubg mobile or whatever your playing session

Game freezes

I've been having this issue, where basically the game just decides to freeze randomly and never recovers. I've had to restart the game and rejoin the match whenever this happens. Sometimes both Audio and graphics stop.

Happened several times since this unholy update. Happens in all modes.

I (Galaxy S10+) can't possible be running short of RAM.

Anyone?

Hi devs, do you mind explaining how the unranked MP matchmaking algorithm you use works. Just a brief explanation would be sufficient.

For the past few seasons my matchmaking experience for unranked MP hasn’t been the best and I would really appreciate it if you guys could give a little insight to how the algorithm works. Personally I really hope that you guys aren’t using SBMM.

Balanced gun

I beg🙏, activision do not change the fennec. Its perfect as it is. Finally got a gun that actually specializes in something well, the msmc and pharo are underwhelming, the fennec is the best close range smg.
Balanced well with its recoil, ammo size and damage range.
Perfect balance!
Need more guns that fit specific roles, these days most of the guns are starting to feel the same and if a gun is not the same, they usually just objectively worse.

Missing Credits Randomly

I had 70,790 credits from last night and a few mins back right after I purchased the Ghost Bundle, 1450 credits are missing. And I did not buy anything. Plus there isn't anything that amounts to 1450 in the credit store. Even though this is a tiny amount, this shouldn't be happening.

About CP situation

I've been playing since pre season beta. Everything costs me more than double than what players of my region who made account after global release pay. For example, for me ghost bundle is 2400cp while for my friend who's playing since launch, its 960cp. I had wait to for season 6 end sale to even buy a BP. HOW IS THIS FAIR ACTIVISION?! Errr... Sniping tips?

As far as i can tell, The Outlaw's arm multiplier is the same until like 30 something meters (great buff honestly), Has a great ADSBSA (Ads bullet spread accuracy) even with ads speed builds(I can post my build in r/COD_Mobile_Loadouts if u guys want), and fastest reload of the snipers so for me its the best. Im new into snipers so any tips?

Ghost - Loose Ends Price $

I see people complaining about the price for Ghost loose ends I just wanna say we fought for this goddamn skin to be in a bundle this is the most iconic ghost skin this is a skin some of us waited for since S1 and you guys are complaining ? I think I have to leave the game for a while because of the current weapon balance of the game.

I....seriously, yeah you know it, I have no idea about the weapon balance of the current game. All I care is weapon balance, maps can be bad but I can get used to them over time.

The SMG balancing in this game is getting out of hand.

The HG40 is just blatantly overpowered. It can kick ass almost ALL assault rifles at range and leave no mercy to them in CQB as well. I'm sorry Activision, but you guys need to stop to add more content right now and consider balancing all weapons in the game, also, fix the bugs.

Next on the list, the QQ9. Do you guys know why I always mention this piece of crap in every single discussion? Because it's the best gun for CQB. Ever wonder why the Pharo and the MSMC cannot come back? Because they're not versatile. Not at all. Past like 10 or 15m, they are literally useless. Also, I have no clue, how do a MP5 aim down sight FASTER than an Uzi-style weapon??? Like, seriously, don't you guys see it? The QQ9 / MP5 is the best gun in terms of agility, not that stupid in lethality but that's enough, it has enough lethality. It also has good range, the recoil can be reduced without having to sacrifice too much mobility, the MSMC and Pharo cannot do that!!

Lastly, the RUS. Devs, if you really want to go the MW or BO Cold War style, please consider. The RUS / AKS is NOT a SMG, it's an ASSAULT RIFLE. If you guys really want to leave it as a SMG, it should have the least mobility among all SMGs and also the slowest switch time. Now the GKS has that but it'a literally a SMG, not an AR. Slower ADS speed, less consistent recoil, slower switch time, it has almost all the downsides that RUS have. I...I don't know what to say anymore. All of these...they hurt not only my but also many others' mental health.

Can't tolerate this thing: Gunsmith. It needs a rework. Hey this sub, YES, you, you, but not all of you, begged the devs to release Gunsmith as soon as possible, and now all I see is an absolute mess! Every gun can have no recoil, so who needs slayers anymore? Isn't camping in a specific a...

Guys help me ... a guy from Colombia hacked my account that I have since season 1 ... a literal relic ... I wouldn't mind if it was a simple account, but I invested money and also use that account to go to tournaments or to the championship that unfortunately reaches phase 3 ... the thing does not end there ... also the guy repeatedly tries to hack my facebook, gmail and twitter accounts ... Is this addiction and should I stop playing this game?

First of all codm has helped me immensely from going into depression being a new grad thrown into a massive recession going on. My job offer wasn't rescinded and I started working 2 months ago. But the 1-2 month after graduation and waiting for joining date was nerve wracking and codm helped immensely to take my mind of it. Big thanks to codm Devs for making this awesome game.
But the game grew on me and I continued playing this day and night and whenever I get break from work. It's wfh so it's not that hard to get break since noone is monitoring. I won't say work is affected in anyways since I don't procrastinate work to play games. I make sure I finish everything before I login for a match. But nowadays my mood is fluctuates and depends on how I play this game. I get angry and irritated when I lose. I'm a thumbs player so I'm not even that good either. I'm a one trick pony who drops shot and slides around without any control which makes me any easy target for those who play this on an above-average level. Yesterday I was grinding my way back to legendary but got my ass clapped in pro 4 continuously with making my kd in negative. I was frustrated and couldn't sleep. Fact that I kept pushing for another game till 3 am didn't help either. I was plotting ways to get better and beat the levels in my sleep also. Is this indication of addiction or is it natural. I don't want the hobby that I started for distraction become the biggest distraction of my life. Should I stop gaming before it's gets out of control?

Suggestions 1) nerf the melees range, you are 5 meter away, you stuff enemy with bullets yet they teleport near you and kill you like nothing 2) stop showing fake ping or fix the desync I'm not sure

Game shows I am playing at ~50 Ms ping but when using guns I feel like I'm at 100+ ping.

This club thing was unnecessary, prolly took lots of time to create while resulted in nothing substantial that actually matters in game.

Just because youtubers show your game is flawless, doesn't mean it is in reality. Most issues, bug reports gets ignored if they don't get enough upvotes.

i cant deal damage to opps

sup gamers, i’ve been playing codm for about 2 years now. i never really experienced a lag or glitch that i’m currently facing.

whenever i meet an opponent and start firing at them, the gun doesn’t deal any damage at all while the opponents are able to kill me as per normal. it’s almost as if the opponents are “invincible”. i tried using different guns such as snipers and assault rifles but the situation won’t be fixed. i also have strong wifi connections so i don’t think it’s a lag. does anyone have this problem as well? i play ranked and before this problem i used to have a 20:6 kill-death ratio. now i’m left with like a 1:9 kill-death ratio. i tried logging off, redownloading the game and restarting my phone but nothing worked. i want to continue playing but this issue is bothering me too much :/

Is This Sub Even Moderated?

Just joined this sub a couple days ago and this sub is pretty bad. Half a dozen posts every hour about the same things. Frequency Guidelines, Relevancy Guidelines?

Camo bug this, sniper scope bugged that. People spam begging for Adler codes. People spamming that they're selling Adler codes (who are most likely scammers). Dozens of posts about the Loose Ends bundle being out or talking about its price. "What did you get in your free draw?" "I got X from the free draw!" "I finally got my frame for being OG" "Look at this new PawnTakesPawn thing that has nothing to do with CoD Mobile and is actually over a month old." "Lol this emote makes you wave your gun in the lobby!"

It wouldn't be an issue if the duplicate posts were more spread out, but sometimes there's 3+ posts of the same exact things all in a row. People don't take 2 seconds to check if there's already a post that's the same thing they're posting and the mods do nothing about it. Heck, even one of the moderators doesn't follow the rules. They made a post about selling an account.

An interesting bug report

Everyone including me are loving this season and Alcatraz a lot but we can't ignore that some mf bugs are very annoying 😡

  1. Sometimes guns from the floor go missing when you first land

  2. You get glitched out/under of the map when you jump from the rooftop of cellhouse

  3. When you want a squad it matches you as solo v squad and when you do want to play as solo v squad
    ; It matches you with a squad ; really was the dev making this matchmaking system high when he was working on it🤣

  4. When using defender class in Alcatraz all the movement option go missing and I want to tell you how much it is a pain in the ass when you are in a gunfight

These much bugs have annoyed me sometimes past the 73 games I have played so far😔

So ive been playing zork for days now and have made it almost to the end. Using a guide on this game. But i did a mistake. I killed the thief. I was supposed to give him the gold egg and THEN kill him some time after so he opens the egg. But now the thief is dead and there's nothing i can do except for restarting.

I was wondering. Once i complete zork, what will happen? Do i get a new task? Are there any other things you can do except zork?

What are your in-game pet peeves?

Just a thought I had pop in my mind, and was curious about hearing other people's opinions as well. I'm not referring to anything game-breaking or serious (like hackers and unplayable bugs), but more along the lines of small stuff that just rubs you the wrong way. By all means though, go ahead and write what's on your mind, I'm genuinely curious. Maybe some suggestions for this devs can come out of this.

For me, it's people with an open mic who are either just breathing loudly into it or whose game is so loud you essentially have an audio echo until you mute them. Which sucks for rank if you actually want to make sure you hear anything that's helpful for the match, or even worse if voice chat gets bugged and you can't see who's spamming the mic - forcing you to either mute everyone, mute one by one till you get the guilty player, or just straight up deal with it.

Opinion concerning the loose ends bundle

Now first and foremost, I am very happy that the ghost loose ends skin is in a bundle and that people won't have to gamble for it, my only issue with it is obviously the price, I'm playing in the garena server and the price was 2000 cp which is very unusual, now the thing is, the price of the bundle will not get them a lot of money because the price of the bundle isn't even worth the content inside except for the ghost skin, the rest are....not as... pretty, it doesn't even look like it's worth 2000 cp, it would have been nice if the price was around 600 or 800, that would have been more understandable because of the iconic skin, but putting an iconic skin for a price that's almost equivalent of two battle passes here in the garena server, you best bet your ass that people would rather buy the battlepass than the bundle.

The Worst Update Yet! Such a bad experience.

DEVICE: Motorola One Fusion Plus (Snapdragon 730G)
OS: Android 10 (Stock Android)
App version: Latest

Ever since I updated the app for Season 11 these are the following issues I'm facing from day one:

  1. Frequent frame drops at low graphics, max frame rates (same with any other config).
  2. System UI stops working in between the game and the phone goes to lock screen.
  3. Graphics capped at High Graphics and Max fps where earlier it was Max Graphics and Max fps.
  4. Device gets warm.
  5. Ping fluctuation.

NOTE: None of this happened earlier. If it was possible, I would happily downgrade my app. I reinstalled my app multiple times but the issue is still there.
My only request to the devs is to fix these issues, cause it's making the game unplayable for me.

Is there a faster way to get anniversary points other than winning Alcatraz games?

I play Alcatraz only, and get 35-50 points per game usually winning, or being second getting more than 10kills on average. Now I don’t play all day, but it still seems odd that other people are already at 40,000 points when I’m at 8,000.
I want to get the anniversary Charm, and the way it’s looking like right now that might just not happen because I can’t play this game ALL DAY.

Ok ok.. Look do NOT complain about the price it was in a crate couldve been more expensive than a 2400 bundle i agree that its not worth it but.. The skin is supposed to have a value in this game well now it has. Anyone else?

My CodM account is linked to an Activision account but when I get logged out from not playing in a while when I log in via Activision account it says "Return" and when I go back nothing happens so I have to sign in via guest and I am very concerned of loosing my progress because I worked so hard on this account :(

Call me a whiny broke bitch if you want but GOD DAMN the price for Ghost Loose Ends Bundle is high. I mean yeah, sure, some of you guys bought it instantly cause in your country it’s relatively cheap, but where I live(Russia, if you’re curious, so I expect being downvoted just for that) ITS FUCKING THROUGH THE ROOF. And I’m sure, I’m sooo fucking sure that other countries experience the same issue. I mean, I have money, but not THAT much money. Can you, NOT THE DEVS BTW, marketing team, tone it down just a bit? ADS broken again (BR)

Previously I had an issue where ADS made a shot if i let ADS go. I started all over, and a new bug appeared. Suddenly. Played a lot yesterday, and suddenly today, my ADS isn’t working anymore. Only in BR. Regular MP still works, but in BR it makes the sound of ADS but it directly cancels it. With any weapon, also iron sights. So I had to play Alcatraz with hip fire only.

Controller needs a fix

I know it’s controversial to ask this because it’s a mobile game and this game is meant to be for touch controls but as a controller user I can’t help but feel at a disadvantage almost completely when playing ranked and here’s why

  1. Drop shotting is impossible with a controller because you hold down B, it take about 5 seconds to go completely prone whereas touch control players can do it instantly.

  2. You are not able to button map at all so there’s no stick and move options so you can jump while aiming and shooting.

The only good thing we have going for us is just the accuracy and it is not much. I know controllers might be controversial but trust me it’s more of a disadvantage than anything.

Some Bugs
  1. Windows- keep getting stuck in windows on numerous maps- Summit, Firing Range, Crossfire. Idk but it seems to happen often at rank matches? 2. BR transform Shield- happened to me twice at Alcatraz Matches. When i used it against an enemy, my fire button disappeared. All i could do was use healing pots. I was a sitting duck haha. Hope these get fixed, cheers!

The Ghost bundle costs 960 cp in India.

So the Ghost bundle costs 960 cp in India ,I really like the skin and the game(playing since S1).
But it's cost is equal to a day of work for a average working Indian,(Rs.1200 Rs per day).
And just some more trivia:Horizon zero dawn , complete edition with dlc on a blueray disk with shipping costs 760 in India, a meal costs on an average Rs.50 so that's like 200 meals Ghost bundle?
Dear devlopers,
It's not like I don't want to support your game but it's too pricey considering the other things I can do with for the same amount. I would rather feed 200 people lunch and all be happy than buy this and feel good alone.

that whole auto/single button gotta go

i was just playing a br match and lost to the final player because my gun switched to single fire. as of right now, the entire weapon selection button is connected to the auto/single. you should either be able to move each separately, or a setting to turn it off all together. (i personally just tap fire and never change between the modes). anyone else’s thoughts on this?

About ghost bundle

I mean, if they lower the price of ghost bundle, many other people are going to buy it, so doing it would still make money and would make the community happier.
Ik its an og character but come on, there are 6 epics and everybody only cares about ghost, everything else is trash stuff thrown there only to make it pricy. (Please don't say rude stuff in the comment section.)

Hello, i just logged in my account with fb and my account is banned. I wanted to start playing again and i redownloaded game.
Is there any admin connected with developers? My account was lv.150 with 2 paid guns. I also have google play recipe. Sadly this happens since i never used any hacks.

How can I fix this lag issues?

Hi, I have been playing this game for some time now and since like a 2 or 3 weeks ago I had no issues, but suddenly my game started to lag HARD, like am playing normally and out of nowhere everything stops moving and I die or it just kicks me out and its really annoying.

I have tried deleting and redownloading the game but it didnt help so just wondering if it has happened to anyone else and how they fixed it. I dont think its my phone btw since it is a good phone.
