Is this season a camper's/sniper's dream?

I say this as some that started the game as a sniper primarily. Never really felt like I could get my ideal build. But I just realized that with Tactician, it's now possible to run two Trophy Systems and use Shrapnel to run two Trip Mines.

Link unsuccessful when try to connect my google play account.

I can't seem to connect to my google account in cod mobile on a new phone. When I choose guest & select my account it asks me to create a new character even though I have linked my account with the same google account. Even after going through all those tutorials & then try to link my account it shows the message link unsuccessful. Is there anyway can I get my account back!!

After what I've seen in the lucky draw I really wish this could happen again where we all get a free first draw while increasing chances of low level items like parachutes or maybe great a way where we can do a certain amount of missions and get a free draw

Thank you so much for the best update ever.

Im 100% addicted Battle Royal player and i can say without a doubt in my mind, you have made one giant step in the right correction.

ALCATRAZ is the best thing that has happend to this game and it needs to stay and a matter of fact you need to add more maps like Alcatraz in upcomming updates.

I was addicted to the classic Battle Royale map but Alcatraz has the Battle Royale style and feels like Multiplayer - thrills and excitement for every penny.

One big vote for Alctraz to stay and add more maps like it in the future.

Shoot button doesn't work when you're on a loot and "auto-loot" is on in the setting.

This is very annoying, seems like looting has a higher priority than shooting.
This results in dying in some gunfights: you rotate to the side of enemy and want to open fire but accidentally there is loot underneath you and the shoot button doesn't work.

In Alcatraz this is very fatal, since there are loots everywhere. Not sure if that was the case for isolated in previous seasons.

Please fix this. Thanks.

Bugs encountered so far

  1. Shots not registering. Knifing stationary enemies not registering

  2. Enemy RUS sounds like Chopper

  3. Dead enemies sometimes stay standing creating a distraction

  4. Molotov fires are sometimes invisible

  5. Flickering enemies

  6. Lying down sometimes makes the enemy almost invulnerable

Stop asking for proof when someone post a cheater from battle royale

When u r in between fight and u find a hacker and he instantly kills u, and u cannot even spectate that guy and even if u spectate that moment game gets over how can u make a proof by screen recording. Guys just use ur brain atleast and stop asking for proof in battle royale matches it's not ur mp match. No one report a guys unnecessarily because he just knocked u. So please upvote and let the developers investigate the situation.

I'm a BR player who mostly plays solo vs squads. Yesterday I mistakenly chose the AK117 from my loadout when at the crate. I was shocked at how the hip fire have improved and the fire rate is great also. 4 seasons ago this was my go to gun. What do you all think?

Glitches Everywhere

Ever since this new Anniversary update the game has been glitched. Notable glitches I’ve encountered are getting stuck in walls, hearing a constant noise in the background that has nothing to do with what I’m doing (and I can mute the entire game and it will still be there) and the frame rate drop mid game is just abysmal.
I get that it’s a big update, and I am a huge fan of the game, but everything has been thrown sideways for me, and I know it’s not my WiFi as I have played the game with cellular data and other WiFi connections, it is all the same.
Any way to fix it? Is this happening to anyone else?

Unpopular opinion, pls try not to be angry at me. The rate at which we are getting player skins is way to high

Its like I am not yet done appreciating a new skin and another one arrives. Skins are collecting like garbage in my inventory and many of them look like it. I liked it more when i was a f2p and received skins slowly; I appreciated them a lotmore. After getting bp a few seasons ago i have stopped caring and equip whatever the latest comes to my inventory weather free or bp.

What we bp players really lack are good looking epic weapons skins not soldiers. My suggestion would be to have lesser player skins(2 or 3) and replace them with epic weapon blueprints that actually look epic. Quality verses quantity. Thx for coming to my tedd talk.

Melee sound glitch

I can't play codm properly anymore. Whenever I start the game the sound of a melee hitting a player always plays on the background, it applies on every gamemode and every loading screen. I don't know how to fix it, it's really annoying cause I can't hear footsteps or gunshots from anywhere.

my suggestion for future implementations. i dont think all of them can be done but atleast seeing some of it made it would be nice

Bot Behavior & Mechanics (Public/Ranked Match, if applied) ;

  • will not target Players/Bot outside the line of sight(LOS)
  • will only start to target the first visible & closest target
  • will only target Torso/Limbs when engaging enemies
  • will be affected by weapon recoil during engaging target(firing)
  • will have blind spot at the back and won't start to engage unless enemies engaged first
  • will substitute players that left the ongoing match to maintain 5v5
  • will only use weapon that has Fire Rate < 70 (AK47,M4, etc...)

Matchmaking Mechanics (Public Match)

  • Public Match
    • will start the match with 1 Players each team, fill the gap with BOT
    • will automatically create a new lobby after 20s of queuing
    • introduce classic COD queue list with the display and option of;
      • Queuing Player List
      • Current Map
      • Next Map
      • Vote Map

    • Queuing Lobby will have sort of continuity for next match(30s~45s idle before auto start the next match)

Score adjustment for each Game Mode ;

  • TDM & Similar Mode
    • Public : From 40 to 80

    • Vest is removed from looting system

Expensive battlepass

Im from india and my battle pass cost is 560CP while others get it at 240CP everything is expensive the lucky draws start from 30CP while for others it start from 10CP i have discussed this with my friends and found out that people who are playing cod from beta they have expensive battle pass. There are many people who are having this issue in my country. We also have complained multiple times about this thing but no response yet. Please fix this. And it's frustrating specially in lucky draws

Next on the list, Capped B, but don’t even fucking know how to hold B. Seriously, what the fuck? You cap B then you let the enemy cap that B? Huh?!? Wtf did I miss??

I don’t want to run around like a headless chicken, but seriously due to the stupidity of the teammates like some of you, I had to. All I want is B. Nothing else. And nobody helped me. That’s why I died.

What‘s so fun about camping at spawn and being AFK????? I seriously do not understand.

And lastly, I’m sorry, but we need Skill Based Matchmaking in ranked. Make ranked harder. Because that’s the place where all of us SWEATS.

Replace all loot boxes w/ tiered bundles like Modern Warfare

Loot boxes are widely debated subjected. End of the day it's still gambling low odds, 1% or less, for a chance at a skin. They should replace all loot boxes with different tiers of bundles. No more than $25-30 for a top tier and anywhere from $1-20 for others. Keep lucky draw but cap the price at $50 not $150.
Make it more inline with modern warfare which has has proven success with its bundle and store system.

Yep, I’m an asshole magnet....

Been grinding for Platinum sniper weapons and I’m down to the last one, Outlaw. Every map I go to I attract every shot head shot gunner, axe wielder, Fenec user and they just won’t go away. I keep killing them, but I’m here for distance and headshots. Finally, I just quit, it’s a waste of time. Seems like certain maps, KC Highrise and Rust being the main ones, are where grinders go for distance and headshots. It’s also where shitheads go to harass grinders.

I’ve said this before, For the effort involved, Gold and Platinum weapons ought to be super buffed. We are talking days if not weeks of work to get to Platinum. I’ve done it with AR’s, SMG’s, LMG’s and will be with Snipers later today. All that’s left is SG’s. I hate SG’s, Don’t use them, cant stand them, don’t have much respect for players who do use them. Too easy. But,I guess I’ll have to take a shot at Damascus using them.

Just started playing again and can't move

So I haven't played the game since season 1 or 2 and for whatever reason when I use a controller I can't move, look, shoot, ads, dpad, my abyx buttons work, along with lb and rb. So how do I get it to work correctly? It's not my controller seeing as it works fine on everything else. It's just the game.

Block feature?

Can y'all please add a block feature? At least on the invites, but preferably on players too? I keep getting harassed by the same 4 players inviting me to Battle Royale because I mistakenly hit accept one time and now they won't leave me alone. Even when I ignore their invites for 5 minutes, they still spam me once that time limit is up. I even went into their lobby and clicked not ready and sat there for 5 minutes until they kicked me, thinking they'd get the point. I hate that y'all allowed "all" to invite. It's a nuisance feature. If I wanted to play with randos I'd go to global chat, which I avoid like the plague too.

My overall thoughts about the new HVK.

Alright, let’s visit the mag once again:

- The mag will increase base damage from 20 to 24.

- The body multiplier (including arms and belly) is 1.3x, increase the damage from 24 to 31, you can 4 tap with this thing. Note the 711 RPM fire rate, which is even faster than the HBR.

- Headshot multiplier increases from 1.3x to 2.0x, 1 tap to the head can make this gun 3 shot kill.

Ok, with all these upsides, I know you guys gonna ask me: is this thing overpowered? Well, I’m gonna say that it’s YES and NO.

- Yes, if compared to the OTM or Stopping Power mag.

- No, if compared to many other guns. The downside of the mag are: it does increase your recoil a little bit, add 1 more frame to your ADS time, and mag capacity goes down to 25. That’s not a good thing, but it‘s a good price.

I bought 10 of the kawaii cat crates and got...

A pistol. Which I'm not surprised by but I feel if I'm gonna drop 25 bucks on the game I should be getting something of value and not get shit on by the devs. They really need to just put shit in crates people will use, no one cares about sprays, callingcards, secondaries(besides melees), backpacks, and grenades. The only thing that should be in crates if they are going to be permanent in the game is primarys, cool melees, and operators. This game shouldn't be know for good gameplay but awful monetization, also a good addition is the little limits where you are garrenteid an EPIC but this is kinda useless when you are just getting shite like sprays and pistols.

Thus finishes my TED talk, now I am going to go cry myself to sleep

"Download and play the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta through the same Activision Account" How? Battlenet Questions for Cold War Beta (PC)

Okay, I'm trying to get this bloody Adler code. Following this guide here: https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2020/10/Adler-in-CODM-by-Playing-Black-Ops-Cold-War-Beta I've installed Battlenet on my laptop and I've got the Cold War beta dowloading in the background. Theoretically I'm at step 2, "Download and play the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta through the same Activision Account", but to get into Battlenet I had to make a Blizzard account. There was no option to just log into Battlenet with an Activision account when I was setting up Battlenet.

Have I already gone wrong here? Was I supposed to be able to log into Battlenet with an Activision Account? If so, how do I do so? Or am I supposed to be able to link my Call of Duty account somewhere within Battlenet?

Any PC players out there who've navigated their way through this maze of logins and ended up with the Adler code?

An Unbiased View On The Ghost Issue/The “OG” argument

This post will seem like it’s in favor of what people are calling “OGs,” but please don’t downvote me instantly, please hear me out and read the whole thing before making a conclusion about my opinion and suggestions.

All the drama and circlejerking happened when someone leaked a photo of the Season 1 Battle Pass Ghost in an anniversary bundle. I disagree with this for a multitude of reason.
•CoDM has stated that they will not re-release battle pass items.
•The Season 1 Battle Pass isn’t just OG; it’s also a nice sight to see since only around 10-30% of players have it, and many people usually don’t use him at all in the Global Servers, while in Garena, only a good 2-6% have the Season 1 Battle Pass.
•The Loose Ends Ghost has been released; there is no use to rerelease a character that’s already marked as a classic character.
However, I do believe CoDM should do something about everyone asking for Ghost, as he is a very high-demand character.
I think Ghost - Loose Ends is the best thing for them to release right now. Perhaps some sort of knockoff could be released, having Ghost - Loose Ends, a G-Series skin for a different primary, a G-Series skin for a different secondary, and so on.
Maybe just pushing through with re-releasing Ghost but also giving players who purchased the Season 1 Battle Pass the Jawbones Ghost from Modern Warfare through the in-game mail would be good too, I personally would like to use the Jawbones Ghost as the character design is pretty cool.
If the devs are reading this, good work on the great anniversary update and I hope you acknowledge this post! Lots of love from the community.

Are footsteps much quieter now in the new update?

I was playing ranked last night, always using headphones to listen to my surroundings better and noticed that everyone's footsteps are much much quieter now, had people running up to me from behind, not too close to me but still near , I could only hear the gunshots and they DID NOT have Dead Silence, anybody else? Did my audio get bugged out or the devs actually lowered footstep volume?

People on the leaderboards of the Anniversary event

I know everyone sees people on the leaderboards and thinks they have no life and grind for 18 hours straight or something but the truth is most of them (I can’t speak for all of them) use autoclickers so when they go to bed they can just turn on their phones and enable their autoclickers which basically automatically over and over again puts them in for example a Alcatraz BR game and makes them run at a wall so the game doesn’t think they are AFK and they essentially gain points passively. I know 1 person who is on the leaderboards who ddI it legit and worked pretty hard for his place but I also know another person who just does it passively and doesn’t put the work in and is in the top 25 and climbing as this is posted. I figured I would just shine a light on this for the community. (To my knowledge this only works on android and on iOS maybe detected by whatever system they use as anti cheat or whatever)

Persistence spammers in bot lobbies.

I would like to know a few reasons why I always notice people spamming sentry, chopper, and vtol with persistence in bot lobbies? I try to invite them to ask them but they never join. They usually always have stats disabled also. Just curious how that's fun to some people.

How to actually get good?

I play 4 finger claw on my phone. I've been trying ranked lately after a 6 months-long break from the whole game and it's not been very pleasant. My aim is shit, I always lose my engagements and i get dropshotted, sniped by campers and lose to enemies with better ping or whatever.

I said that last bit bc even though I try to play smart and often get the first shot, I still get killed constantly. Almost all my shots hit though, I might aim like shit but I can still shoot someone close range. But still, I always die in a second when I've been shooting - and seemingly hitting - my opponent for ages. Is that normal? Is It just an impression?

Regardless of that, how do I actually get good and make up for those issues? It's getting really annoying, I don't play ranked anymore although I'd like to. And I'm stuck in pro too, it's not even like the ppl there are crazy good from what I heard.

I use the ICR, QQ9, LK24 and man o' war.

Auto Loot in BR

Auto loot currently supersedes shooting in BR. So if you’re on top of a lot box with lots of goodies, you can’t shoot until everything is looted. This has led to me being killed three times in Alcatraz today, one time I even closed the box pop-up but continued to pick up ground loot. This was slightly tilting, clicking the shoot button should cancel the auto loot so you can respond to the gunfight.

Hey guys new here. Came specifically to see if yall can help me with my problem. I can play cod on my note 10 like normal when I'm on wifi. On mobile data tho it works for the most part except for the actual playing part. As soon as I connect I see 40 ping like normal. But within a second I see everyone in the pregame stop moving and my ping steadily climbs. Can yall help? I'm on tmobile if it helps

Glowstick and knife customizations (idea)

Would it be cool to customize knives and glowsticks?. My idea is that you go to your glowstick and click on customization and you can choose what color it can glow like if I want it to stay blue or to stay purple. Or have it where it is kill streak reactive like it changes after a certain amount of kills. Or have it at default and it stays as it is now. And for the knifes my idea is you can equip sprays and stickers on the knife or have charms on the handle. Sorry if my wording is bothering you hopefully you know what I mean. Theater mode

I just had this interesting BR game. I was was pinned down outside the safe zone and I used my smoke specialist and got out and managed to down the player but he shot a trap master at me while I downed him and killed him but when he died I died from the trap master and I was wondering would that count towards his kills. But I would share it but I wasn't recording. So it would be nice to have theater mode but the dev's are already working hard on other things
