Matchmaking and Rank Question

I just started playing codm after ditching pubgm. I reach master I in matter of few days in BR.

How hard is get to legendary and how does it work. In pubgm the top tier increases day by day as season goes. Is it same here too?

Also how matchmaking is done. I play only randoms and never get a good squad except 1 guy in the team. I feel the same tier rule doesn't apply here or how is it?

Crossplay between Touch & controllers needs to be reworked

The fact that I've tried for 3 days straight to find yet not 1 ranked lendary game using a controller is incredibly frustrating.

I don't know one person who plays touch who would even care if controllers came into play it, would open up the community and make it bigger than ever.

Playing with friends?

So my friends started playing codm and they are rookie. I have been playing this for long so I have reached legendary rank. So we are not able to play together ranked matches since they need to be able to rank up to master 3 or more. We played public and BR but they are full of bots which are way too easy for them as well. They have been playing pubg for long so they are kinda pro at shooting games. Is there anyway to play together and face other real players other than me creating a new account just to play with them.

Bot meta change?

Lvl 150. I've been grinding camos on some of my favorite MP maps that are frequently bot populated. Over the last week I've noticed that the bot behaviors have changed.
Much more accurate and quicker on the trigger. Suddenly jump sliding is a regular for at least one bot every match.
I'm still destroying, but there are some definite bot by changes.

S11 early issue

  1. Footsteps: so footsteps sounds was change and it was bad its too loud you can literaly hear it from 10 meters away(tested in BR) its really feels like the footsteps on MW and WZ so dead silence or upgraded ninja class i a must right now

  2. BR Graphics change, so in BR the graphics was downgraded HARD its feels like LIVIK from Pubgm now, everything is blurry, the grass is weird, lighting feels washed out and red becomes pink(im not colourblind btw) we do request for a optimization but not like this, but i think this kind of graphics should be a new settings called super low than permanently be like this

Sound issues for weeks now

Not sure what changed but for a few weeks now sound in game just doesn’t work. In the menus I can hear fine but once in game it just cuts out and then will intermittently be heard for a couple of seconds before cutting out again. Cant hear any sound effects, announcer, anything. Makes the game unplayable... is this a known issue right now?

We, the community members of
r/CallOfDutyMobile are deeply sorry for how we acted in the manner that we did. It was unprofessional nor representative of how we should act in this community. We understand that you work your asses off day and night to help bring the call of duty experience to those who could never experience it. While we do believe that some of the practices you have practiced are morally wrong and unjust, we also believe that you guys are willing to accept constructive criticism towards those business practices to help better your game and to make it fair for your consumers. While at times we may get emotional towards something that we believe is unfair. I, the writer, do believe that you may have severed your relationship with your players to a certain extent. Now I say to some extent because I do believe that there is hope for crates to be removed in the future and be replaced with bundles. Luck draws on the other hand are always set in at a fixed price because you only need to spend somewhere around $2USD-$150USD. Now this poses a question: How can we better our relationship with you guys to avoid altercations like the one we just experienced? Well I have three solutions, First, I believe that leaks should be banned from being posted on this subreddit, and Content creators should only post information provided by the official call of duty mobile socials aka. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc... on their Youtube account and then, that’s when people either post the content creator information or information from the developers socials. And dataminers info should be taken with a grain of salt, just so that information(which is subject to change) doesn’t stir up controversy. Second I believe that moderators/auto moderators should moderate the content people post to avoid spam(let’s be honest I see way to much unnecessary reposted memes, and a lot of posts regarding a particular topic). And Finally I believe that the developers should post more often on their socials what kind ...

Cook the nade in fast throw by holding the button.

Cooking the nade, aiming lethals and non lethals while holding the fast throw button needs to be there. It will be so much refined and many non lethals like flash and stun will be useful at last as you don't need to bring them out first and then aim and then trow, you could juts press and hold the fast throw button and your character will directly aim instead of throwing or (without fast throw) taking the equipment in hand.

Rank games - know when to quit for the day. New approach of playing has made a huge difference in the approach

Just played my 12 game today and won 10 and earned 400+ points

I think it's good time to stop and not over play it.

The new approach to play rank relaxed and not care about points or win is making rank so much fun and actually enjoying it. It's amazing. In 1.5 days of playing I've actually earned 1.5k points in legendary rank

Suggestion for epic weapons

So there are two types of epics, ones that are skins, and ones that change the guns appearance. I think skins like living rust and barricade should change with attachments because it’s just a pattern on a weapon, where as guns like m4 backscratcher and ak117 kitbag don’t change. What do you think?

Have you already seen those skins in the latest video of Bobby? They are so awful and there is obviously no effort at all in the process. Dear devs... p.s. forget the crybabies.

I have only been playing since the end of season 8 I believe until now. Y’all have done an amazing job taking a game that 5 years ago I would have thought impossible and moved it to my cell phone. Multiplayer maps like terminal, highrise, rust, along with other maps look amazing on my phone. And play like they did on my console or pc. Bugs yea we got em, but what game don’t? I was playing warzone on my pc last week and died to the storm because I was stuck in a hole and a overturned train car?

I haven’t bitched or complained one bit about this game. It started off as a random download just something to play while I was on a break at work or waiting for a flight/layover. I didn’t expect much but the amount of FREE content is amazing.

Everyone bitching and moaning, crying and complaining is sad. People are legit pissed off and ready to say F U codm over some cosmetics that don’t make you a better player, or give any type of advantage in the game what so ever it’s f’n sad and ridiculous. Even worse they don’t understand that when everyone has that “rare skin” or “cool camo”. That’s what makes it the opposite of why they wanted it. I’ll stick to my amazonas outrider, my grinder reaper, or my all time favorite reaper Krueger skins.

I have been buying the battle pass since I started playing. It’s what less then $10 you get skins, guns, and camo. When I got a cpl extra bucks I’ll buy a crate or I’ll luckydraw. While some of the unlockables are not what I’d what to spend my money on that’s my choice and I’m cool with it knowing I could have a fire ax, or a badass skin.

Could you imagine if u had a gun in a crate that did 9000 dmg and shot 1000000 bps? Then ppl can bitch. Until then the ppl that are crying and upset can go play some other mobile game. Don’t listen to the handful of titbags reddit.

I have liked keep wranglers since the day they came out, but I don’t have one. I damn sure don’t wake up everyday looking in my driveway for one either.

Headshot area is so small it's annoying

Hey devs, first of all I want to start with saying that the game is awesome, but there are quite a few bugs. Now, I dont want to sound toxic, but I am really irritated at the headshot area. I empty a whole clip into the face of an enemy and it still doesnt count as a headshot, which is SO annoying. From testing this over a few days I found that the headshot area is literally on the top of the head, as opposed to everything from the neck up (like in MW). Having such a small area for it to be counted a headshot makes it super irritating especially if we are grinding for skins, because if I may make an assumption, a lot of players get irritated because they shoot the bullets right at the eyes of the enemy, only to not get the headshot. I dont care if this gets downvoted or upvoted, at least I have put my opinion to try and help the codm community.

CODM Pro+ Rank solo. Does it make sense?

I recently hit Pro rank in Codm, up until this point I was MVPing 95% of my ranked games and getting up to Pro was very easy for the most part. Now starting to play ranked pro there is a notable difference, I still end up most of my games in the top 3 but it is obvious that the player calibre is much higher. I always played solo but it seems to me that most of the teams playing Pro and above are paired teams and not random. Does it make sense playing higher ranks solo or should I start teaming up?? Vietnam sound updates

Idk if you guys noticed but a lot of the sounds were just switched around. The RUS has an AK47 it another familiar weapon's sound. The Molotov breaking was swapped with the windows breaking sound. The j358's was just... Idk I didn't hear it but I read that it sounds like a toy now.

Last player standing

Hi I've been playing a lot of solos v squads recently and developed new tactics how to take on full squads and it's hectic ups and downs slip and slides even get a win every now and then. The matchmaking seems to work pretty good these days and I feel like it's time to limit the revives at some level. I just feel like it's super childish how squads come back and back and back like I'm stuck in training mode. Doesn't this defeat the whole concept of battle Royale ? Not saying there shouldn't be revives it's a fun game and every player is in it to win it. but at some point there has to be defeat when a player beats a another... How about a br hardcore mode or maybe master upwards revive limit. Any thoughts?

Pretty new player

Ok, so I started playing this game about 2 weeks ago and am level 33, 25 in the battle pass cus I saw a video saying the echo was good so I did some grinding for that, not disappointed btw, (besides the point) does anyone have any tips? I think i’m starting to catch on to some things but could use a little push, I’m still not sure what guns are the best, how to farm the free currency, level up efficiently, get good gun skins and stuff without paying (if that’s a thing) and just how to be a good player in general and stuff like that, if I could get some help, that’d be amazing, any kind of tips and tricks are welcome. How to change controller layout to "Tactical"

Anyone know how to change the Xbox controller layout to tactical (i.e. the B button is for melee and right stick click is for crouch)? I've been playing Call of Duty like this on console for over a decade and it seems like there's not a way to change it in Call of Duty Mobile. Super annoying. Any help would be much appreciated. Why not have COD Mobile Zombies be to COD Mobile what R6 Qaurantine will be to Siege?

So while I would love for Zombies to come back I won't lie that I understand why they removed it. It was a shell of it's former self. Without pack the zombies got stupidly bullet spongy even with there weird upgrade system. And it just felt a little lackluster. And that's coming from someone whose first COD memories was COD WAW Zombies on my iPod touch (man I feel old saying that I used one).

So I kinda whish they'd make Zombies it's own app. Share the skins for characters and guns. But have zombies made with another team that just focuses on Zombies.

Like what Ubi is doing with Qaurantine. Maybe I'm the only one that sees it this way but I would prefer it to be it's own full thing. It would be awesome to have the full proper zombies experience on mobile. Like we did with Black Ops and WAW back in the day.

Unpopular Opinion: Our actions against CoDM for their anti-consumer practices in Ghost-Loose ends made them backtrack the crates.

"Where did these info came from? Dataminers? Leakers" said CoDM. Uh no, you clearly released it in Garena as well.

Our backlash, and it might've been too much, forced them to change stances. Dont go too forgiving that "we were too rude, or we hyped ourselves up." If the backlash didnt happen, i bet 80% that they wont backtrack the crates. The community is just circlejerking the devs. I agree that we got a lil bit too far there, but its still under constructive criticism.

They clearly replied because THEY GOT CAUGHT, NOT THAT THEY WERE COMING CLEAN.

A little something about the new update

I have no doubt that this season will be great, but some things just frustrate me and the community, like the merc 5 and ghost bundle and crate, this season will not be bad, and I don’t think anyone thinks it will, there’s just things that tick people off. The f2p community was crazy hyped for the ghost skin and somewhat a new completionist camo just to loose the ghost and finding the Damascus camo to be lame (if that’s actually what’s coming) so all in all, COD mobile has done a fantastic job and I have no doubt that the future will be amazing, but probably everyone has things that annoy them about this next season, instead of openly complaining and bashing cod mobile, let’s just get hyped and be excited for what’s to come.

I legit saw Woods icon and I think it's not only a bug, but he us coming to CODM! My games was just loading for a very long time then I was shocked that I saw Woods I am not tripping I swear! BR Graphics discussion

I’ve heard that they lowered the graphics to accommodate low-end mobile users. Many people with low-end phones now have access to higher framerates. While this is the case, it’s ironic that high-end mobile users like me can no longer use Very High graphics with Max framerate. I don’t know what happened but this is the case for me and for others who have been using Very High graphics and Max fps. There’s something wroth with the optimization here. They “optimized” it for low-end devices at the cost of reducing the performance of high-end devices?

Another observation from me is that the textures in BR suck so hard right now. The trees and grasses have become more of a “plastic-like” or inauthentic texture. In addition, random mountain/cliff textures have become so smooth to the point that it’s pixelated af, it’s like I’m climbing smooth clay. What’s more is that everything seems so bright, smooth, and “plastic-textured” compared to the last season in which the graphics were more realistic (kinda exaggerated but you get the point). Try going airborne then view the landscape from above, you’ll see what I mean.

Sigh. Not every change is good. Sometimes, the old is better and it just needs to be improved. Optimizations are questionnable at the very least. It’s like they reduced the graphics of the entire BR experience just to say it’s been optimized—which fucked up some high-end devices, instead of really optimizing the whole game to cater to low-end device users.

The app sometimes won't show an update available until you actually press on the CODM app. So let's say you choose My Apps to see if it's available, it won't show anything. Type in call of duty and actually click on the app. Than you will see the update button

Garena version all guns locked + greyed out, can’t play any MP matches (error code 66035)

Like the title says:
-every single gun is greyed out and locked, levels shown is lvl 1 for everything
-can’t play any MP matches regardless of mode, after about 10-15 seconds of queue time an error message will popup (66035)
-tried this on an iPad Pro 11” (2020) and iPhone 11. Also had a friend try it on Android with the same result

Call of Duty: Mobile - October 12th Update

It is finally time for a brand-new update. You can find a large majority of the information about everything out today, but also a great many things are coming later in October or early November. We’ll be detailing that all a lot more on Tuesday October 14th at 5 pm (PT) once Season 11 Anniversary releases, but before we jump into the patch notes we just had two topics to bring up in advance.

End Tier Camos
A while ago we had some discussion around the Damascus camo, since it was in a public test build, and we had said that we didn’t plan to release that camo as the final tier camo. However, it has been quite some time since then and we have decided to release Damascus today in this update! Here is a sample of that camo on the KN-44:

XP Card Changes
Just a quick note, but we've adjusted XP card prices in the wake of Gunsmith and how weapon progression has changed due to that feature. The prices have been significantly lowered. We have also completely removed the lowest tier XP card, so now there are only blue and purple XP cards. You can find all of those adjustments in the store now.

How to give feedback to developers? Pls help

I've been playing since beta now. I got a new device recently. It runs any game in 60fps and can go higher. But in codm the frame rate has been locked in 30 frames. They even degraded the graphics after the newest global update but still there is no 60fps in my game. Also after updating the game I have to download all the resources from zero again. I have very slow internet speed so it is taking too long to download the resources. Why codm doing this?

Overkill is no longer in the game under the perk categories. This makes me wonder if that confirms the Perk/Gunsmith Hybrid will appear as one of the greeds is overkill and now its no longer in the perks.

Anybody here that’s experiencing their phone getting hot in the new update of codm. Before I updated mine its not getting hot but after I updated it just heats up and takes so much battery on my phone.

If your phone doesn't have higher options it means it can handle it correctly some phones have great specs but are not optimized to run then all the time.

Playing on Iphone X with Graphics on High and maaan are the Br graphics looking good now! Very smooth, better colors and nature is looking amazing. Thanks for that CODM

Bug - Colorless Reticles

After the update for Season 11 I lost all green colored reticles. Everything is white or a slight yellow now. Pre update I could see some green reticles but even the red or orange ones were showing white.

All colors show fine on the 3X - 8X scopes. Just Red Dots and Halos
