Gunsmith Breakdown

I’ve consistently noticed even to this day that people still don’t understand gunsmith, so I’ll pitch in to help.

Base Gun stats and attachments changing those stats: when it comes to look at the stats of guns with or without attachments, they all have different numbers in different areas, for example, you might have a QQ9 build that loses a lot of good stats in favor for more “mobility”, problem with this is people seem to think mobility “helps you run faster”. This is absolutely false and this goes for all stats, mobility, accuracy, control, as well as other stats modifiers are a “over all stats combined estimate”, going to the qq9 you may have high mobility, but you will not run faster because its high, mobility takes into account a variety of stats like ADS SPEED, SPRINT TO FIRE, MOVEMENT SPEED, ADS MOVE SPEED, FAST RELOAD, and a few different perks, same goes in reverse, stats that negatively affect mobility means they are attachments on your gun that are affecting the different stats considered for mobility, for example if you decide to slap a recon barrel for your high mobility QQ9, you will notice mobility goes down a significant amount, again all stats like mobility consider different stats relevant to it area to provide an estimate. Just because your locus sniper rifle says it does “104 damage” with stopping power, does not mean you can shoot someone in the pinky and all of sudden they die, limb modifiers still exist even after gunsmith was introduced which brings on the next breakdown.

STOPPING POWER SIMPLIFIED: stopping power as far as I’ve tested and seen basically either increases damage overall or increases the damage done to certain limbs, for example the Arctic.50 without stopping power can only one shot to the chest and nowhere else, but with stopping power it allows more flexibility in where you get a guaranteed one shot kill to more than just the chest. This is contradicted in the case of the type 25, what happens with this gun is stopping power doesn’t quote on quote “increase damage ra...

Gameloop or Others

Hi All,

Was just wondering if we allowed to play on any other emulator yet other than Gameloop? Gameloop crashes like no one's business at crucial times. It's becoming a joke now.

Let's not get into the discussion about this being a mobile game and I should be playing on my phone etc etc etc.

Or if anyone can share some of their settings in Gameloop if their game doesn't crash as often as about once every BR? I have a good enough PC to handle a mobile game, that I can promise you.

Zombies will not come back and it breaks my heart

Firstly zombie will absolutely not be coming this update. If we are lucky we may see it back after 5-6 more seasons but I feel they are never gonna bring it back. There is no hint of it anywhere. Before the leaks I was still hopeful but now I am convinced it is not coming. I hope the Dev's prove me wrong.

Ranked/Competitive frustrations

I stopped playing back in Season 5 of the Battle Pass, and recently I’ve gotten back into the ranked grind. I got into the competitive scene in Modern Warfare and was just wondering why there isn’t any ounce of rules in ranked.

Trip mines are still allowed, suppressors are overpowered but no one is addressing it, gun such as shotguns and LMGs are being used. Don’t get me wrong, while there still isn’t any ban on these kinds of things I will still continue to use them.

There have been some good moves such as parties of the same number have to face each other, but other things like TDM still being a ranked game mode.

Things like that lead to people that get to Legendary not actually being on that level of skill but rather they were the ones that just spammed TDM over and over to get easy points.

Although yes when one actually reaches Legendary you start playing other modes (I played my first Search game when I hit Master V after grinding from Veteran III) this leads to an imbalance of teams and a clear divide on who actually belongs in Legendary and who doesn’t.

The grind to get Legendary on this game used to be a frustrating yet fun one where plateaus happen, not a smooth ride with 60+ points for a TDM blowout with things like rank protection and rank shields being there to hold you up.

What happened to ranked being fun?

Devs should focus more on security than adding more cosmetics...

Here's the thing: today I got my activision account hacked, idk how this was done, and the hacker managed to change my activision email adress, and I got a mail from activision telling that your email adress has been changed (yes it's 2020 and activision still doesn't have a 2 step verification process). Now I found out that the guy is loging in to cod mobile and I can't unlink my stolen activision account. Can anyone help me I don't know what to do

Prone scooping out question

Can anyone explain to me how the fuck it works or is it totally random? Sometimes when I prone shoot it doesn't scope out and sometimes it fucking does, it pisses me off so much because the more I play the less I fucking know when this will happen, and since I scope and shoot with different fingers which means that when it scopes out it totally fucks me over, and sometimes since I'm expecting it to scope out suddenly it doesn't do it so I'm the one scoping out and losing the gunfight. Is there a rule when that happens? Been playing this game for almost a year and this shit is this only mechanic that I can't understand ever since they nerfed it. There's gotta be some sort of pattern.

I literally cannot play the game.

It keeps crashing, and before you say it’s my internet or tablet, my ping is at a constant 20-40, and my tablet is a iPad 2019, the game frames keep dropping, and it keeps crashing, I can’t even play a MP round anymore, are the servers just bad today?

What do you guys think about the new BP and Season?

I think it’s pretty nice. Love the colors and sleek designs. COD Mobile is trying a new look and their going in the right direction. I think no one should complain about it. But I hope that their new theme makes actual sense and doesn’t become the new norm. Call of Duty is a warfare game, not some futuristic Power Rangers game. Some games crumbled because of their ignorance or a decline in players are apparent. I see some posts complaining about it so if you wanna tell me what you think, comment below.

A day in the life of a sweat player

Ik the majority of us here are casual and chill players play cod on a regular bases playing with friends enjoying some dubs and grinding gold guns alone cz you know more chances for bots xd but when you encounter a sweaty clan player that ruins you're day or atleast gives you a skill lesson but mostly piss you with either shotgun or sniper that can either take you weeks months or idk how to master what is you're opinion them?

Rewards Beyond Tier 50

I’m new to Reddit and certain others have posted about this but they MUST modify rewards after Tier 50. Just got my 170th reward of 50 more CP. It’s just awful. Maybe a skin or something every 50 tiers? Anything would be better.

Like the title said did they remove the lucky board already to get ready for the new stuff? I saw it last night and did a few ads but since I was in the car going out of town there were a few spots that had no signal so couldn't do the rest. I forgot to do the rest when we reached our destination. So a few mins ago I went on to do my lucky board but I don't see it anymore. I was so closed to using my credits to get the epic gun. Just a few more spins. I am in the USA using Samsung s20 as my phone. I wish they tell you when they are going to remove it.

The devs hyped this season and update so much but I don't see why. All of the leaks I've seen haven't been fantastic. I saw one leak about the riot shield, which would be amazing. But overall I'm hoping the devs will whip out some like heavy duty leaks. Any thoughts?

Dropshot and scoping out? When and why?

Ever since the nerf I can't understand the pattern and I end up dying in such an easy gunfights... How does the proning works with the aim currently? When I'm scoped in and trying to dropshot sometimes it scopes me out and sometimes it doesn't, I can't understand the rule when and why it does it... Gives me a feeling like it's totally random for some weird reason...

Hacks - has anyone encountered players using invisible hacks?

Just had a rank game and lost due to a number of factors. First telling my team mates not to rush, had a bottom frager with 2/10kd

But the biggest issue was the MVP of the winning team was invisible all game. Only notice him was when he had the red should buttons flash by.

Is this a glitch or blatant hack? Half the time it was impossible to see him

To the people who refuse to play objective and continually rush into the enemy and die instantly:

Stay out of ranked for now, please.

I am not saying this to be a dick, either. I understand what you’re trying to do. You’re trying to play slayer, but if you’re dying instantly every time you encounter the enemy, then you need more practice. Until you have that practice, please just play the objective.

How can I get that practice, you ask?

Get some friends together for a full lobby and practice objective games in pubs. S&D, Domination, Hardpoint. You’ll get better, and with time you’ll be ready to run slayer in ranked, but remember that practice makes perfect.

Remember that It’s okay to stay back and hold the objective sometimes, and remember that 4 people don’t need to run slayer. Work with your team. Figure out what works and what doesn’t, then go from there.

Sorry for complaining, but pls buff SMGs

Look, I understand that smgs are supposed to be lower damage than pretty much everything else in game (besides maybe pistols), but I don't understand how 5 shots from a PDW don't kill someone, but 2 from an AK will. Like that's just ridiculous! I love the new attachments set up, but there has got to be a way to get the old damage for smgs back. They weren't broken and now they are nerfed so low they're unusable.

What is wrong with this community?

A good 50%-75% of games that I play (Pubs & Ranked) I either have a player who leaves my team mid-match, or its someone else on the enemy team that decides to leave mid-match again because they are down a few points.

Of all the other Call of Duty’s I have played; this never seemed to be a large issue. With this game I would be lucky to finish a game with 10 people (5v5).

Why do so many players quit games mid match? It makes zero sense.

So apparently ranked in this came is a complete joke. I started the week in pro 1 and ended it in legendary. Losses either give you points most of the time or deduct only 10 and that’s even if you loose since it’s just filled with literal bots(I guess to make it even easier). I play this game mostly casually and I only wanted to play ranked so I can get the skin for the qq9. The fact that I was able to reach the highest rank in the game while barely doing anything is a joke. Not to mention the fact that in supposedly “high ranks” you still get people who are worse that the bots you’d find in pubg matches.

On the 22nd Sep I watched over 10 ads and didn't receive any tokens for the lucky draw. Please can you reward me for the missing tokens. Also today 11th Oct I'm missing ad shop and desperate for last legendary skin and character skin.

Also, i didn't receive theTin Stictched HVK skin that I earned on the 10 men regiment event. I also didn't receive the 10xp cards in the survival skills event.

Finally, I used the activision forums help in season 1 to discuss the battle pass and was wrongly advised to wait to season 2 as was late on to buy the pass, but I would have received the whole seasons rewards with the xp I had accumulated. I've still been frustrated by this bad advice as there were some great skins. I've paid for the battle pass since and numerous other lucky draws, so please help me out.

Best gun on CODM

So I have a Ford trigger Controller to go around my phone. And all I’ve ever used is the AK 47. I feel like since I’ve used it from the beginning and haven’t found anything else there Must be another gun that would be good for me. I do a lot of medium to long range shooting. Also about 50/50 I’m running all over the map and finding a spot and killing.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on a good gun for me!

Clan feature : Suggestion

I think a good feature that COD:M might add is a "CLAN TAG" feature where you as the CLAN MASTER decides what TAG will be (before the name) of your members.

It's a feature already existed at Mobile Legends, which will be a good feature in CODM.

Why shod this be added?

1st
A most of Scrims and Tournaments(with a big cash prize) requires the participants a clantag for each clan who joined.
which means if you don't have the same clantag you might be kicked or your team might get (disqualified) in most of the rules.

2nd
A lot of (toxic) people mimmick or copy the name of a WELL-KNOWN clan and try to destroy their clan's reputation.

Benifits for all who has a clan?

Same clan tags
No ign space reduction (because some tags reauire a lot of space in the name)
Clan recognition/identification (you as a member of a clan will be known that you are a part of that clan)

Hope to reach the DEVS

My first year of CoD: what CoDM did RIGHT

Altight, Imma be honest: I only played Infinite Warfare for few hours because it wasn't mine, so CoDM is truly my first ever CoD.

What CoDM did right this year is first of all: we have a ranked mode. I know, I know, it's an absolute mess in there but at least we have one, even tho right now I have to use LK and QQ9 every single game and that's just so boring.

Another thing that it did right is: free DLC maps and weapons. Also thanks to this community. You guys were awesome. Not every DLC gun has to be meta but at least we have all of them for now.

Moving on, we have the huge improvement in BR. Say anything about Black Ops 4, but if that game didn't exist, we wouldn't even have CoDM BR. I know Warzone is fun but I like Blackout elements too. They did a really good job about combining them into one. Even though Trap Master I agree, has to be nerfed.

Next on the list, we have the Gunsmith. I know there are many attachments in the Gunsmith that are being copy-pasted from one gun to another, but anyway, it's still good. One major thing that you guys need to improve is to balance all attachments properly. Many attatchments like the short barrel on some guns are weaker than the MW counterpart(for example the 11 inch barrel of the M4A1, it improves your ADS speed by 2 frames, in CoDM, it's only 1). The Stippled Grip Tape only improve the ADS speed by 1 frame in CoDM, however in MW, it's 2 frames. The Flash Guard should reduce Damage range(like on LMGs and Shotguns) instead of ADS speed. Decrease by like 5% or so, because in CoDM we don't have bullet velocity. Also, looking at a real-life perspective, a flash guard is obviously lighter than a muzzle brake or a compensator. Moving on, the Combat Stock. It should not increase vertical recoil. Lastly, reduce ADS bullet spread accuracy on all guns. Right now it's just insane.

Then, who doesn't like FREE STUFF? That's right. Thanks for giving us free skins like water every season. I really appreciate that.

I saw a comment on a post saying something about the skins being cringy because they're like Fortnite/PUBG, and I was wondering if you guys feel the same way. Is it cringy or bad only because it's like those skins? Like I dislike skins that have a lack of detail, or just look poorly made, messed up features.

Considering this is Call of Duty and not those games, and remembering the context + environment that we play in, I'd much rather have Destiny-type content rather than Fortnite or PUBG, but that might just be me. Destiny was and still is my favorite game of all time (and I've played a helluva lot of fucking games), but I've moved on since I didn't invest in a console and fell behind on most of the content, never played Destiny 2. I'd get sucked into it and end up living my life there instead because of all the content.

In all honesty I really dig the Spectre and Zero, the other two look okay. But this is our 1 year anniversary BP, we should’ve gotten something more inline with what we wanted. Everyone wanted that Ghost skin, and those MW2019 TF141 skins, Alex, Kyle, Price. Just more iconic characters.

I think that for our first year of this game we should’ve gotten more.. loved and recognized characters.

The current theme (which defiantly isn’t CyberPunk btw) is nice, It’s sure as hell more of a halloween theme. Reaper and Spectre look great, Zero was an interestingly choice but she was really cool in BO4, and I have no idea why they thought Sycilla would’ve been a good addition. As far as I’m aware not many people cared much for her first skin.

She’s a character with no background, no story, not iconic at all. I just don’t think these skins are 1st Anniversary BP worthy, compared to the likes of characters like Woods, Soap, Ghost, Price, Alex (MW2019, Echo 3-1), Kyle Garrick.

People love these characters because they have a story, you played as them throughout their games and you grew to really love them. Captain Price, Soap and Ghost are literally iconic to the CoD franchise, same with Alex Mason and Frank Woods.

We’ve loved these guys, for years. Spectre, Zero, Reaper and Sycilla look cool and all but they don’t compare to these guys. They’ve been around probably since we were all kids.

I don’t hate colorful skins, I’ve had and used Spectre Ultra9 since season 2. But I don’t think these skins are very fitting for the 1 year anniversary BP.

That in mind, this is just the BP, I’m sure S11 will be great regardless of a couple skins. But people have the right to voice their opinion on these skin, and BP.

The KRM looks great, and so do the QQ9 and AK117, but we’ve had so many epic QQ9s and AK117s in BPs, it’d be nice to get some community favorites like the DLQ or AK47. The KRM is great tho imo, I’m glad there’s a BP epic variant

Regarding the teaser about the Vector and a new type of rarity.

I personally think they will not be adding anything higher than legendary because it does not make sense. At the price legendary guns are at, it seems unreasonable to release a much more expensive variant of a cosmetic skin.

I think the COD Mobile Team are referring to the Final Tier camo or as we call Completionist camo which is supposedly coming out this coming Season.

Reposting because the poll somehow fucked itself up

I saw a comment on a post saying something about the skins being cringy because they're like Fortnite/PUBG, and I was wondering if you guys feel the same way. Is it cringy or bad only because it's like those skins? Like I dislike skins that have a lack of detail, or just look poorly made, messed up features.

Considering this is Call of Duty and not those games, and remembering the context + environment that we play in, I'd much rather have Destiny-type content rather than Fortnite or PUBG, but that might just be me. Destiny was and still is my favorite game of all time (and I've played a helluva lot of fucking games), but I've moved on since I didn't invest in a console and fell behind on most of the content, never played Destiny 2. I'd get sucked into it and end up living my life there instead because of all the content.

Seeing these leaks is disappointing in my eyes. I mean we only get Halloween once a year. So I was expecting a scarecrow looking character, scary, horror, A emote turning into a Pumpkin or something. Pitchfork Axe, etc etc. Save the futuristic stuff for Mid November BP

Petition to add an option in the customization menu (or the barrel/stock selection menu) with which you can choose whether you want your barrel to be visible or not

Hello there. So this is a thing I've wanted to mention , and I think it's a good idea. So a lot of people I know hate the way extended barrels look on certain guns. Me personally, I hate the extended barrels on the cordite. Also, one of my friends told me that with their primary loadout their main problem wasn't the barrel, but it was the stock which really bugged them, so I also wanted to mention stocks. I believe there should be a customization menu where you can choose how your extended barrel/stick looks (you unlock different forms based on gun levels) and there should be an option where it is invisible. Thank you for reading, I would also like to hear your opinion.

Removing/Uninstalling maps

So, when i first redownloaded the game I installed all the maps.

Now,I'm trying to figure out how to remove a couple of them that i dont want to be a part of 'random map' while matchmaking.

Does anyone know which folders the map files are located in so I can remove a couple of them?
Or is uninstalling the whole game and restarting the only option?

Can we expect to have 2 or more HUD layout in the game for multiplayer and BR anytime sooner in the upcoming updates?

I have been trying to shift from 4 finger to 6 finger controls lately. It's annoying logging out and logging in my guest account whenever I need to practice 6 finger claw. Right now, I practice 6 finger on simple mode on my main account. And simple mode is too annoying, cause I m trying to learn 6 finger for faster reflex and to connect my shots better. Please add an extra HUD layout, it would be of great help. Thank you

What are my chance of completing bp?

I have a very busy schedule. Two exam on tuesday so I basically have no time for cod. I can spare like 4 hours each on monday and sunday, can I do it just grinding br? Trying to go from tier 13 to 50. I kind of lost motivation this season but still want to continue the bp. Are they doing any extra exp event?

Downvote me all you want, but here is my current rant of the game.

Ok, freedom of speech people. This game is giving me mixed feelings.
Pubs are great and all, but the bots are absolutely overpowered. "Oh they arent overpowered ur just a noob" then listen, they can shoot through vechicles, they have literal aimbot and im not saying weak or soft aimbot, no no no its actually worse. Plus, it has an automated headshot aiming ability, which means that pubs are abolished.

Ranked should be called hell. Shotguns all around. Legendary rank. I soloed this journey. Im not carried. KRM-262, BY15, Echo = rank. No snipers or ars. No smgs or lmgs. No. Just shotguns.

Look, school just started and I am already having a hard time with it. My mind goes, "oh! i should play some cod mobile so i can relax a little!". Stupid me, I shouldve realized how bad it could be if I did that.

Desync. Ahh, the good ol desync. My enemy since season 6. Swapping phones was a good idea. No it wasnt. I shouldve quit back then at season 4.

Go, come on. Downvote me. I have already had it hard for the past few months. My voice shall never be heard. My opinions that actually might change the game shall never be heard.

At this point I play for fun, but I cant play for fun because all the lobbies I get into are either overpowered bots or tryhards that want to ruin your experience. Lifes hard. It really is.

How can a progress bar go down?

This is the first time in my life I've ever seen a progress bar go backwards. Where did that data go? From an engineering perspective, if that progress bar reaches 100%, how is it even possible that the number becomes 0%? Why would it go from, say, 90% to 74%? What are these numbers actually representing?

Unfair and Stupid Matchmaking and AFK problems

COD mobile is introducing new elements to the game. It's ok and fascinating. But why aren't they working against this stupid matchmaking especially in Ranked games. When you start losing, you get matched with teammates that are losing as well and your opponents look like they are overpowered. And if the opponents are cheating, then it's game over already.

Also, you find AFK teammates. How much you try to win the game, once a player goes AFK, COD mobile removes him from the game. If you are removing him, then make sure you let a player get added or when the other players who were playing with a 4 v 5, gets a nominal negative penalty and doesn't get included into the losing streak matchmaking list. So he gets a fair matchmaking, in the next match.

What if devs puts 2 military skins and 2 fancy skins to balanced the battlepass rewards so everyone can really enjoy the character skins with their choices. I dont really like community whining for the characters they want.

BR/MP like tow deferents games

I fell like im in new game when i swetch from BR to MP (fpp) the sensitivity its not the same the same numbers not same effects also in HUD 100 in analog mp bigger than 100 in BR and can't copy past the same HUD with same sizes from the two mods i know i can copy from MP to BR only but also not accurate and just small things ////also we need adjustment in training mode add loadout BR/MP /add TPP/FPP switch /add new visual in loadout MP /add a option to can modified loadout guns and attachments in training mode

A note for devs on the FHJ-18 buff (and the War Machine in BR)

To begin with I love your idea of letting it be able to shoot people without having to lock on to them. However please do not remove the ability to lock on scorestreaks and vehicles (BR), especially in BR. Many of us, me included, finds it pretty hard to hit moving targets in BR with the SMRS, so we rely on the FHJ-18 to lock onto those moving vehicles for more efficient shots. Please don't remove this already balanced feature.

Moreover, since you're adding a new kind of ammunition (Ballista Expert or sth) for War Machine, Annihilator, Tempest and Purifier, will you consider adding reload animations to War Machine? Also to the Purifier and Tempest as well.

Based on what I have read, there isn't anything too drastic with this update.

Yes there will be some theme for the holiday and anniversary but fundamental of the game won't change and nothing really new is coming that we haven't seen in the past.

For example a new dual map, new perks, slight weapon updates, these are all great but not jump out your seat joy like say the gunsmith which was a true game changer.
