Tips and tricks for fighting Trap Masters

How do you guys fight trap masters?? I need some insight before I loose my mind lol. Either this is the most annoying class so far or I'm doing something wrong. I'm willing to bet on the later.

Take my last BR match for example: endgame, 2 players left, 1v1. A bunch of houses and no noise, zone is about to take over the entire map. I rush out of cover, use my trickster skill and bait the dude to peak at a second floor window of a house and shoot a hologram. I get plenty of shots in, but he hides inside before I can finish him. I immediately run to a blindspot of the house, no windows, just a door and wait to see if he comes out. No reaction, no noise. I take my shotgun out, open the door and try rushing him. The first step I take triggers the trap right behind the door, half of my health... gone. I then miserably try to run outside and heal, wich of course was useless because of the huge movement speed debuff of the trap. He casually walks outside like a retired dad picking up the newspapers on his porch, finds me a couple steps away from the trap with an adrenaline shot not even halfway into completion and 2 taps me with a QQ9.

Honestly, I can take an L, but there was no competition, it doesn't feel like he was even trying.

Think about it. What other class rewards camping?? What other class will leave you a few bullets away from death by itself?? None.

I've never had anything to play cod on growing up, my family didn't own an xbox or playstation, and so I never had the opportunity to play any real cod games. Mobile was my first experience on cod, and to be honest, when zombies dropped I thought it was super boring. So educate me, why is zombies on cod mobile such a big deal?

If the enemy team calls in two UAV's at the same time, they keep ending up one on top of the other. So when i use my SMRS to try and shoot the UAV down, it doesn't actually destroy it. Then i need to shoot at them like 10 times more, just to take out one. After that, the other behind it is taken out as normal within a few bullets or one SMRS rocket..

is using triggers on top of phone to play claw setup/no claw hybrid cheating? which triggers are best?

so i am no claw player but the non-claw setup isn't making me any better at the game. however i don't want to cheat and end up getting banned. the type of triggers i'm looking for are ones ha don connect to phone through wifi or wire. just ones i hook on top of phone and when i click the trigger a lever taps the phone.

Question for people who have updated to iOS 14

Do you still have 3D Touch controls as an option for your controls?

I tried the iOS 14 beta a while back and it took 3D Touch away as an option in game and I had to wipe my phone to get it back to normal.

I simply don’t wanna update my phone, not have access to 3D Touch, and not be able to fix it at all.

What is the point in limiting room size for Warfare mode?

The question, basically.

Wouldn't it be more fun if an entire clan can join into and play the warfare mode? It won't be like BR where the possibility of multiple teams co-operating can spoil the game.

I understand huge clan sizes can pose a problem. Why not increase the room size limit to, say, 10 people?

Similarly for MP 10v10 mode - room size ought to be increased so that bigger groups of friends can play simultaneously.

The gaming industry hides behind this defence when saying their lootboxes aren't gambling but it's a flimsy one. Yes, skins from lootboxes can't be turned back into real money so there's no "cashing out" that would classify them as gambling under current regulations but clearly they have a monetary value as evidenced by the fact that people are willing to buy lootboxes to get these skins in the first place. You're putting in money in the hopes of getting an item which has more value to you than the money you risked on a game of chance. This is gambling.

The free lucky draw with ads is not the same thing. You're playing a game of chance, yes, but at no stage have you put money in. The tokens that you get to play that draw are earned in-game so the potential prizes do not have monetary value. This is not gambling.

As to your other point, yes, it is conceivable that Activision could lose revenue if they were forced to abandon crates due to new gambling legislation. I would at this point remind you that Activision are a game developer and not a gambling company so should not be making their money from gambling in the first place but instead the development and sales of video game content.

This is why I support the bundles only movement. If Activision make game content that I like, I will buy it for a fixed price without gambling just like other free to play titles who have paid content like Warzone.

Lets discuss about the whole "Warzone Mobile"

Lately with the whole news from Charlie intel he clearly says "Suggests" not confirming anything so far and it upsets me that some youtubers and other clout chasers go on hyping the community over things that are uncertain and not confirmed what usually happens is with how dumb a percentage of the community gets stuff gets released but not as the way they thought they were and end up trashing the developers and shaming the community.

Charlie Intel is a very trustworthy source its not the usual random clickbait page. The way I see that job listing is Activision getting more involved into its mobile installment by starting to work more on it unlike before where they were just the publishers and Timi studios did most of the job and its pretty positive to think that Activision is involving more of their personnel from their studios to work on their mobile game because it means they can bring even more content with the unique detailing they can do being this case the Battle Royale which with how it looks they will fully adapt multiple Warzone mechanics into it and who knows? Maybe they getting more involved into cod mobile can end up fully replacing the crates for their profitable Bundle system

*they have no use on killing their most recent and best mobile installment they have done

*the thing has to reach a big playerbase which means that the theory of "it will only run on powerful devices" can be easily discarded

So the two main theories on how this whole "WZM" will go are two, a simple one and a more elaborated one

  1. The Simple one: They will be more in charge of the BR and add their features and detailing to the game overall so self revives, cash system and buy stations, scorestreaks and the whole "closing Gas" theme can easily be fitted to the br

  2. The more crazier one: turning the app into a launcher that lets you choose to log in into the MP or the BR separating the BR from the Multiplayer completely like they do on pc/console versions with modern warfare by that their studios can fully work on the...

need for a duplication option

alot of times i find myself fumbling around the functions,as a primary thumb player..its quite cumbersome to perform complex maneuvers . say i wanna prone whilst ads'ing,i have to let go off of my shoot button,hold prone and then shoot with the same right thumb finger and the later being used to move my character.

SUGGESTION:

what i would like to suggest is to have a function that duplicates the exsiting function such as prone,slide,jump and etc..that way i could use my thumbs effectively

i hope this suggestion could help towards making this a much more viable and user friendly platform for all walks of playing style. and it would be very awesome if this could be thought or be implemented in any time soon....

10 days ago i was playing 10 vs 10 shipment and suddenly the game said disconnected and it gave me 1 day ban. The next day same thing happened and i got a week ban. Yesterday my ban gor overed. Today i was playing free for all and i got 10 years ban. I don't use any bot or any illegitimate software. I play like a normal human because its a game and should be played for fun. Add your experience with an unmentioned bug in the comment section.

  1. Exiting the vehicle bug
  • Park your vehicle, press exit and sometimes you’ll get a flying animation that’s only seen on your screen, while you’re just standing and doing nothing on the screen of others. If you manage to land somewhere, you’ll just return to the same spot from where you exited your vehicle.

Workaround: None. Land fast if you don’t want to die.

  1. Smoke Bomber bug (3rd season of being an unreliable useless class because of the bug)
  • Your thermal vision sometimes bugs out and just gets disabled randomly while playing.

Workaround: None. Die, get revived and choose another class lmao.

  1. Shooting enemies makes your screen go from tpp to fpp
  • Bugs like 25% of the time when you go ads, then your tpp screen just goes fpp suddenly even if you didn’t press fpp/tpp switch. Most commonly experienced in sniper rifles.

Workaround: Spam ads until your screen goes back to top.

  1. Knocking down enemies cause your screen to rotate 180 degrees.
  • Dunno man, it just happens at the perfect time when you need it to not happen, especially in squad fights.

Workaround: None

  1. Microphone bug (since time immemorial)
  • Mic just bugs out like most of the time. It’s either you hear them and they don’t hear you, or vice versa.

Workaround: Switch your mic to team/friend when it happens.

Hello, hope you are doing good and you and your family is safe from the pandemic.

10 days ago I was playing 10 vs 10 shipment and I got 1 day banned for no reason. The next day I got 1 week ban again for no reason. Yesterday my ban got over. Today I was playing free for all and i got 10 years ban.

I have no idea why I am getting banned. I play on phone. No VPN nothing. My account is linked to my facebook. I keep my chat to friends only and I am in no way cheating. I have genuine apk downloaded from playstore.

lucky draws prices (BE ADVISED not for kids who downvote everything)

we all know that lucky draw has been a thing for quite a while now first one being the halloween draw which was a SCAM since then they have kinda improved it but if you look at the prices now its still shit YES it may not be a SCAM but the prices are still too high

1 lucky draw costs about 125 to 135 USD which is crazy it's literally absurd i mean if i were to buy season 10 all lucky draws which is estimated to be 4 according to the leaks (3 new ones and one redux) it would cost me about 500 USD now if we compare this price yesterday night they opened the playstation 5 pre-order which was from 350 to 500 USD depending on the edition and if i put more 80 USD i can pre-order the new call of duty black ops cold war cross gen bundle which is compatible with both playstation 4 and 5

you can clearly see the comparison between these things anyone with a brain would buy a playstation 5 instead of 4 lucky draw which according to devs is a bundle which only has epics and legendaries i mean how can you even categorise sprays in epic or uncommon they look the same no animation nothing its just is an epic for namesake and they don't even give a guarantee of it being returned in another redux

according to my the maximum price that a lucky draw can be is 50 USD(or even lower) its just stupid how high they are keeping the price of some cosmetics(50% of them in the draw are shit)

i understand that it's a free to play cod but this is still very bad practise by the studios

If We Can Have 100 Player Custom BR Lobbies, Why Are There So Many Bots in BR?

This bothers me, a lot. Now I'm fully understanding with oh put bots at lower ranks to get people to ease into it, fine. But even at Pro and Elite, half of the lobby, if not more, are bots. Why?

Not to mention the bots in BR just give away your position. They teleport near you, and just walk around until they find you, knowing exactly where you are. I can't stress how many times I'm just trying to hide, then a bot teleports out behind me and starts shooting me. They hunt you, and it's incredibly annoying.

It's also just not as fun, I've been watching some youtubers playing in 100 player custom lobbies and it's so much more tense, but when it's like 20 players and 80 bots... not as exciting.

I guess the same can also be said about 10v10 which is just 5v5 with extra bots. I don't understand it.

I have seen so many posts complaining the epic skins dont look cool, Devs have to up the game. Well IMO after the gunsmith update the rarity is something diff.

Legendary: The best looking guns with kill effects and have 5 attachment

Epic: Somewhat diff looking skins with 4 attachments unlocked

rare, Uncommon: They are just skins. No attachments unlocked.

So the good looking skins that will be coming after S9 would be legendaries

While I think F2P will have a lower quality epic skin while P2P epic will also be higher quality than their F2P counterparts.

How does the mission for the first horseman frame work? First time I played BR today and it showed me the little voice note and said something about a location marked on my map. But there was no marked location? Second time I played BR, no message, still no marker.

Melee weapons

Why has there been such little attention given to melee weapons? Since the start of the game, the only weapon you could get for free/grind for is the lava axe. That leaves karambits, bats, ice axes, and hachis which so far have only been available through those money holes called crates. On the topic of axes, you cant even run after swinging, you are stuck in a non running state for a good half second. Also on the topic of not giving any attention to melee weapons, the damn gunsmith has been out for a while now, even a new bp season has rolled in, while you still cant even equip camos to the base axe. Melees are part of this game that feels so unpolished and has received so little attention. Release the damn base melee weapons already!

Worst perk in MP

In my opinion it’s high alert. The first part is really useless as you always have a idea where enemy’s are and if your camping your dead as TTK is so fast. The second part were it marks enemies is also completely useless as it doesn’t mark them when they go behind a wall.

I hate the Makarov event!

I love the idea but I don’t like needing to try hard when 50 people are all dropping their and they’re all legendary. I like battle royal but we need a non-ranked version. Ranked is supposed to be a challenge thing for tryhards. I just want a casual br mode against people of all ranks and skill levels. Br was my favorite mode but I then I decided to get to legendary and now I have to try hard or I’m doomed to lose xp. I already have an anxiety disorder and worrying about my rank whenever I just want to play for fun gives me more anxiety than normal. I’ve lost sooooo much xp from this event and I can’t handle being in rank protection. I just can’t focus on anything else when I know any round I play may be my last as legendary. I feel like losing 20 rounds in a row just so I’m in pro and it’s easier and actually fun and casual. I do like the map thing like they did for the Nikolai event but the br part is very annoying.

Yo wtf, I had games in 10v10 where I get 1 kill and then 3 of my teammates die.

One in headquarters where my team is literally everywhere on the map except the headquarters, like Bruh it's highlighted in the radar and the map at the same time.

It's not like they're bots either, I got players that have different languages, High levels but they just, for some reason suck at the game.

And heck nah I ain't playing rank, that's a different level of mental stress

Since season 10 update, my lag has become insane and the game is essentially unplayable.

Has this happened to anyone else? My internet is unchanged and I live in South Africa so I already suffer from bad ping which is usually around 85ms (which is usually quite manageable, and no lag). But this season it jumps around 92-98ms and frequently spikes to 110-120ms. It literally makes the game unplayable, especially in ranked.

I just want to know of anyone else has experienced an increase in ping during this season? If so, I hope this feedback reaches the devs, so something can be done about this.

Ok, so I've been noticing that people on my kill cam look like they have just shitloads of aim assist, I couldn't even tell if I had any or not, so I turned aim assist off to compare, but it was the exact same, I just can't have aim assist. In my opinion as a BR player I think we need a stadium a huge one Same as the one in Warzone I’m not saying we have to have everything in Warzone but believe me the stadium going to be an iconic place to land on! Just like the concept of tilted towers in Fortnite were every player love to land on to get A LOT of kills. TBH I was playing Fortnite just to land on tilted towers to have fun lol.

bottom feeders less penalty

the game rank is almost nothing now,
So many noob are becoming Legendary
Im already at 20k points and I still get some noob teammate that plays like under PRO-MASTER.
Bottom feeders should get -100 points each time they lose and MVP should get like -10 only or no penalty if score is decent.

Rank is like a roulette now, you'll lucky if you dont get a noob fake legendary teammate.

Besides giving that frame as reward, why not give the Makarov´s soldier as a last reward after finishing the entire event, like Nikolai last season? The soldier is already in the game and probably this is the last time we will see it, devs could add a mini update to make it a reward after the event conclusion and the event would be perfect. If you agree, pls help me to send this feedback to devs.

Unable to spectate after death in BR

Do bots use epic skins or is there an in-game option that doesn't allow people to spectate you in BR??

Just had an encounter with a "player" with a really good gaming chair. He was having a firefight with both a player and a bot. He managed to kill the bot, I finished the player and mag dumped him with a legendary AK, didn't want to give him time to heal. He shredded me with 150 HP and level 3 armor like it was nothing. And what bothered me the most is that I couldn't spectate him.

Not the first sus player that kills me almost instantly and I'm unable to spectate. Kinda stupid since every BR match is ranked and spectating the only option we have to see if whoever killed us is legit.

Hunt for Makarov

Finished the event in one round. Even went to the computer and it said 6/6 pieces found. I completed the round and I think my team even won.

On the event page it still says I only have 2/6 which is what I had before the round.

Is anybody else dealing with this issue?

Can we talk about the Pharo glitch?

It’s a glitch where it happens suddenly, you aren’t allowed to ads, click 3 times to reload and it only fires 1 bullet.

Well, it’s rare but also deadly. It happens to me 1 out of 5 matches. The bug has been there since s6 or the release date of the pharo and it’s still not fixed.

Okay I was being a little dramatic, but there is slight movement speed nerf and a pretty significant ADS nerf on the ICR-1....RIP ICR you were beautiful this past month. I would say its still usable but no way is it the meta anymore.

  1. Before Gunsmith came along, the Royal Crimson M21 EBR had the Stealth Kill ability. Does anyone know if that's still the case?

I'm reviving an old bug report post

As what u/Zorrom4 said four months ago about codm turning upside down without any reason: "Its not a problem with my phone because all the other games screen rotation works fine, but COD game screen sometimes automatically rotates to the other side. Not sure if this is a bug. My phone has auto rotate off and this is annoying and I have to rotate my phone to play the game."

Again, this is not mine this is from u/Zorrom4. And to add more to his old bug report whenever I turn around my phone, the phone then turns upside again, continuing at some point like this until it stops randomly which is beyond frustrating

Probably will get downvoted because it's another bug. I have post this numerous times and it got downvoted with negative karma. I just wanted to fix this.

I have an issue going on for almost 3 seasons now. Appears that some skins have a yellowish tone that ruins the overall look.
My device is S20+, and my graphical settings are configured to VERY HIGH. If i toned down the graphical settings to LOW, the yellowish tone disappears, but for the sake of graphical quality? Would appreciate if you can take a look at this. Thank you so much.
Also, i tried to flash my phone, reinstalled the game countless times, cleared cache and app data but still no luck, so i thought that this is an issue to the game itself. It started when season 6 was released. (wild west theme)

Gun Fov improve?

Died laughing...literally!

Was just casually grinding a gun while completing missions, this one dude, using the fire fighter chick skin (naturally) was trying soooo hard. Jumping around and dropping down. They popped out around a corner bouncing around and firing wildly at me, I just started cracking up thinking about the kid playing so hard. After a few encounters, I was in tears laughing and just got killed by him and pretty much everyone else. Man, I don't even try that hard in ranked match. He must've been on a monster energy binge or something.

ipad login error / authorization error 2, -1 (Continues to be ignored by devs/activision)

It has been months now, honestly devs this is ridiculous... what is worse is that no one from the r/CallOfDutyMobile team will bother to touch the issue...

This is an error that is going on for months that is only affecting ipads... honestly it seems like the devs don't care... just do a search for ipad login error or authorization error 2, 1. The work around doesn't work for eveyone and not eveyone has an iphone.

The problem is with activision account log in (ipad only issue)... there are plenty of ipad users frustrated and unfortunately activision is ignoring the issue for months.

I have an iPhone X and I do have the free ad roulette. However after watching one or two ads, I can’t load any new ones as it says I already reached limit for the day and come back later.

Petition for more floating iron sites or painted sites

The Orbit sites are beautiful.

The new HBR Swarm is amazing but not my favorite color in a site.

Using the Going Dark Cordite. The front sites being orange to me are the easiest irons sites to see. Not my favorite to look at but a perfect example of why people in real life like aftermarket sites/nite sites, etc. Black sites don't have contrast like Green, Yellow and Orange do. I say even add something in gunsmith to change the site colors cosmetically to various colors

Should cage be reworked into a bigger map?

I am a am a fan of codm original maps. I love to see a rework so it can be put into ranked(but also original map for 1v1) cage I think could be reworked by making it longer and a bit more wider then on the sides it’s two tunnels but on top you can go over the new tunnels as the side houses would be expanded out and given more details. The center of the map would be spilt into two so a flag rest there nice and then at the ends of the map they make it a bit long so the flags are behind the spawn points. Also I think hardpoint could be possible depending on if they add a tunnel system connecting both sides and that opens up bit like hijacked.

It's my birthday on Oct,1 and All I kinda hope to happen for right now is that the community will be less toxic and more of a happier more wholesome one like r/amongus ,I also kinda hope the next season won't be infested with bugs ( sorry if it's too much to ask) + Codm kinda needs to replace the crates with bundles.
