Google Play Sign-In not working

ANYONE WHO KNOWS A FIX OR CAN HELP ME. PLEASE COMMENT. Thank You

Hello people! I really want your help to recover my lost COD Mobile account. So let me tell you what has happened and what issue I am facing. So I started playing COD Mobile in the early 2020. Really enjoyed playing it, and was actually good at it. But because of not having much free time I decided to uninstall the game. And thought that I will return someday. And that day arrived, today I installed it and it installed without a problem. After a little update the game l started loading and asked me to log in. And that moment I was a bit shocked, because GUEST, CALL OF DUTY and FACEBOOK option was there to sign in but the Google Play Sign in wasn't. Then I thought it might be some glitch or something. So I started a temporary guest account, in order to get access to the Google Option in the Settings. So my plan was kind of working I completed the tutorials and everything and finally I could access the Link settings and was happy to see Google play Sign in option along with the rest. But when I clicked it, an error popped up saying 'Link unsuccessful. Please try again later.' I just couldn't get access to my old account. So, now you know what has happened. I would be very glad if anyone can help me. Because my old account contains some really nice gun skins and it would be sad if I were to lose it.
Questions that might be in your mind

  1. Did you link your account when you first started playing? Do you still have that account?
    - Yes, I did linked my progress with Google Play Account. And played in two devices just to make sure my progress was saved properly. And yes I still have that Google account.

Complete Sniper Rifle Review and Gunsmith Guide Part One - Semi Autos

Intro

To sum up my previous intro, I'm a legendary MP and BR player and I'm writing these guides up to share what I've learned after earning Platinum in a weapons category. I'll also be recommending four loadouts for each weapon.

This is part two of my Gunsmith guides. You can view the complete list of my guides here.

I'll be splitting snipers into two posts to keep things from getting too long. This one will be about the semi autos, bolt actions will be out Monday.

Disclaimer: everything here is my opinion. You may disagree with some things, and that's ok. Disagreement is welcome so long as you're willing to discuss why. Hopefully we can all learn something.

Important note: for snipers the damage does decrease at very long ranges but not usually within 40 meters. Hard to test in Firing Range. These ranges generally only matter on Crossfire or similar distances, or in Battle Royale. Range boosting attachments are still situationally good, for this reason.

Arctic .50

Base Stats

Rate of Fire: 150 RPM

Damage: 90 leg/stomach, 126 chest/arm,144 head

Stopping Power Ammo: 126 chest/arm, 144 leg/stomach/head. One hit kill anywhere. Despite this, I would not consider this mandatory, since good aim makes this irrelevant. Matters more at long range.

Recoil: 30 degrees right of vertical, very heavy but nearly resets before next round can fire.

Magazine: 7 rounds, 2.6 second reload

Review

Highest damage of the semi autos, and only outclassed by the Locus of the bolt actions. Poor mobility, both movement and ADS. Overall, strong argument for best overall sniper rifle, since mobility matters less at the ranges you should be using snipers.

Can’t get my mic working

My settings on my iPhone allow cod mobile to access the microphone, but I can only switch it on for friends. If I try turning it to all, I get a message that says “please adjust your microphone settings” but I’ve already turned it on. Not sure how to fix it!

None of the scopes work even though they're unlocked

When I say "not working", I mean I can look through them but I can move my aim. It's like I'm standing there frozen, like a statue when I'm aiming. Once the scope/aim is down I can move again.

The ones that work - All default scopes. Red dot scopes (whichever guns have them).

The ones that DON'T work - Everything other than red dot.

If it helps, I'm running iOS 13.6

How to change account?

So I have two fb acc and I've been using one of them to play codm for a long time. For some reasons I can't auto log in to my usual fb acc and I accidentally created a new acc with the other fb acc and now I've been stuck with this new acc and I can't go back to my previous acc. I even deleted that fb acc but still doesn't work. How? Please help.

Shoutout to the Devs on 10v10 Shipment

I’ve been playing CoD since it first came out - crazy Kar98 battles in the graveyard at Dawnville, the epic British campaign on CoD2 - and although CoD Mobile has been one of my favourite games in the series by far, the 10v10 mode on Shipment suddenly brought me back to that kind of excitement that originally got me into the game. I genuinely feel like a 10 year old when I get spare time to dive into one of these matches.

Multiplayer solo ranked is ruined

In the previous season ranked was fun, however towards the end ranked games sucked because a lot of noobs got to legendary and occasionally you loose because of them. However this season it has gotten worse and ranked is no more fun, playing ranked as a solo legendary player gives me noobs who should not be anymore than elite 5 rank. I also often get put with groups who are playing with master 4 master 3 players who are absolute trash. The players who got to legendary in the previous seasons knew how to play as a team and supported well however now its dumbasses running somewhere else with no game sense. I have lost snd matches with 19 kills and being the mvp simply because I get no support and get shot by someone who runs in front of my team mate and kills me from behind then kills him too. I cannot carry my team every round, if I could I would'nt play a 5v5 snd. Loosing a game is fine when the opponents played well however loosing to noob teams simply because your team is trash is not fine. Please fix the current matchmaking/rank system and make it more playable for solo players.

Banning time in CODM is so wrong and long.

I know that giving out bans times from leaving a match ensures that players don’t intensionally leave matches, but I got disconnected because of internet issues and got banned for 18 or 20 minutes the first time and then an hour the second time. This is absurd. If the developers could please find a way to make the wait times a little shorter or if it results in penalties of rank points, that would be much appreciated. I’m not sure if other people have the same concern as me, but I feel like this is my issue as of the moment.

okay So i just accidentally deleted cod mobile and i did download again i am wondering why the game is so big with the size like what are those 1,9 Gb stand for? because when i downloaded it i have to download a 195 mb update and than

Character modules take 350 mb download
and gun skins almost 165
There are map downloads that cross 100mb size
so what are those fucking 1,9 Gb are if almost everything in the game is downloaded later?

I'm getting really mad with a game I just finished on shipment 10v10. How are you guys dealing with it?

There needs to be a disabling of certain killstreaks like cluster strikes vtols and other specialists as well. At a certain point my phone's frame rate dropped and it nearly became unplayable as the map was littered with scorestreaks and explosions. It wasn't fun whether or not I was winning. Do you guys agree?

So what is the chances of getting bp sale next season?

Like earlier bp season pass history shows it first came in s6 then one season 8 then again on s9.

I'm teenager and spend my last bit of cp on lucky draws and now I hate myself for doing that. Tbh, earlier I hated bp sale bcs it's unfair for the one who bought earlier but now I really want them.

TDM every single time, and if you deselect it’s 10 min queue times for any of the other modes. At least the objective modes require the camps to come off their perch or lose to the objective. It’s just dumb playing rank now, zero enjoyment anymore. Back to BR I guess.

Early game TTK for BR

----Obviously, you drop down with no armor and No meds. Then a player with an AK117 hits you 5 times in two thirds of a second and it's game over, because you always get paired up with a hot for a teammate who can't play, and you just exit the match so they don't die trying to get your tags.
------ I'm legendary at 12,775 and I've just been on continuous losing streaks of games that lasted 12 seconds on average. To top it all off, people camp the loadouts so you rarely get a chance to make it past the 50/100. (Resulting in loss of 20-50 pips)
-----What do players do to keep climbing? I take headshots when I can, but the only people who give me the chance to get a headshot are bots, the rest just use their incredibly bad wifi to dodge 20% of the shots they take like it's an in game mechanic.

Where can I find a solid color wall/background in CODM?

I'm trying to take a screenshot and delete the background so I'm only left with the gun. The mobile app I'm using keeps messing up the edges, and I don't have a PC to edit professionally.

FHJ and XS1 interaction

Hi, I've been trying to get the golden FHJ but trying to complete it I found a bug.

The interaction between the FHJ and the XS1 is broken, you take your sweet time locking in and shooting at the XS1 but it doesn't do damage, you can be in front of it and still won't do damage. At first I got really really mad, because it's difficult enough for your enemies to play the XS1 and the you shoot at it and it doesn't do anything it just breaks your heart.

Hopefully the devs are able to fix it or at least change the quest to destroy helicopters, that would be better

In Battle Royale, are you still penalized for leaving the match after dying and the timer for picking up your dog tag expires?

After dying in a battle royal match I try to exit from the match but a in game message warning of a penalty appears. This message does not change even after the timer for my dog tag pick up from teammates expires.
Therefore, I’m confused once the dog tag timer pick up expires there’s no more chance of a revival for you right?

If there isn’t am I supposed to wait until the rest of my teammates die to leave without a penalty?

Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community! This week we have a light community update for you all since we are all hard at work on preparing the next seasonal release. Speaking of which, unless there are unexpected issues, the next time we put out a community update it should be announcing and revealing everything about Season 10!

Speaking of which, there are no more teasers on the way for Season 10. Instead, from today on, we will be revealing new content every single day until release! We are starting that off right now by officially announcing that the well-known and beloved Multiplayer map Terminal will released with Season 10. You all have been asking for this one basically since COD: Mobile released back in October of 2019 and we are thrilled to be able to bring it now to mobile.

More melee and Modified Knives and rare weapon skin fixes

1.More Melee: Axes, Swords, Hatchets, Spears , and even Bats should be in the game and unlocked at high level or through missions such as featured.

Modified Knives: Knives should be able to have Hilts, Blades, and Handle modifications and will be able to have blades for better damage, hilts for control, and handle for range and fire rate.

Rare weapon skin fixes mainly become when you modify the gun it doesn't have the skins such as blood in the water or persistent, when you add a stock or barrel it would just be nice to have a way to show off rare skins without having all the grey spots.

Has anyone made a spreadsheet comparing gunsmith customisations between different weapons of the same class, at max upgrade? (See the comment for more info)

Eg. I want grind away to upgrade/customise the best possible sniper rifle in the game, but I don't want to wasted my time and XP upgrading a gun just to find that it is interior to others within it's class.

I want to know what the weapon stats are like in their fully-upgraded state. I want to know what impact each of the attachments have on the stats of each of the weapons.

Eg, I want to grind away to upgrade/customise the best possible SNIPER RIFLE in the game.

I want to rank/sort all guns in the 'sniper rifle' class, by the following 6 gun specs (1= highest priority).

  1. range
  2. accuracy
  3. damage
  4. fire rate
  5. control
  6. mobility

In order to achieve this, I think I need:
a) A table with the 6 gun specs with NO ATTACHMENTS

b) A table of the impact EACH of the ATTACHMENTS have to the 6 specs of EACH of the GUNS

There are so many sophisticated players on this subreddit - surely someone has collected this data already.

Input lag nightmare.

After playing the game normally for a while, I decided I'd try my 8bitdo bluetooth controller. I use this controller for another game, F1 Mobile, and it works flawlessly. However, when I tried to play COD with it, I was shocked by the amount of input lag I was getting. I mean really hard prominent input lag, not some minor inconvenience. I could literally count the seconds it took for the game to recognize input. About 1-2.5.

I use an iPhone 11. I've tried messing with in-game settings to the maximum. No apps running in the background. My question is, do people actually successfully play with a controller? Is input lag a very common or uncommon happening for bluetooth controllers?

Idk man. I just want to play with my controller every now and then.

I’m new to COD

[MOBILE] I’m new to COD

I just got Call of duty mobile, I do have a little bit of experience playing on the PS3 or PS2, but I don’t remember to much of it. I think I’m doing good, level 19 been MVP a few times, but I feel like a newbie still. I have a understanding of attachments and you have to play games to make your gun better. But I want to understand the guns more and strategy, because all I do is go straight to the enemy team and start killing. So if anyone can give me advice on how to get better that would helpful thank you!

Been grinding gold camos....

...for all my assault weapons. I never hip fire. A real draG playing Shipment HP with all the campers and other jackasses playing this and me trying to hip fire an M4. My K/D ration is toast. The other tasks, no problem, made the LK24 and M16 today. Hip fire with the M4 is shit.

Quick question about platinum skins

For platinum pistols, it says reach gold skin of all weapon types. Do I need every backup weapon to be gold, or just the 2 current pistols? Because there are only 2 weapons in the pistol category, and I really want that skin just because it's dumb.

An epic gun skin is 10 000 credits
A rare gun skin is 5000 credits
An uncommon gun skin is 1000 credits
Something like that.

Indepth Look At BR Classes: Part 4: Scout

Since the undead are back we’re hiding here. Might as well talk about The “Scout”

Part 1: Tracker Dart. The tracker dart is the active ability of the “Scout” and when fired a tracker dart will be shot out. If within a 75 meter radius (about 80 when upgraded) all enemies will be marked with a red dot on the scout’s screen but only in the mini map not the full sized map. The dart will only last 30 seconds (Reg) or 40 seconds (Upg). For a brief 2 seconds you can see all enemies with a red silhouette within your tracker range. Part 2: Tracker. Just like the tracker perk in MP the tracker secondary ability allows the scout to see the footprints of the enemies, although the footprints will disappear after 5 seconds. Footprints are usually spread about but not by much.

Part 3: Tips And Tricks for Scouts. Scout’s are, what the name implies, scouting units for their team. If you aren’t able to communicate with your team use the “enemy near” or “Enemies have been here” ping to alert your teammates that someone is nearby. Tracker is a good item to find people who are going to camp or are trying to hide from a gunfight, I’ll just have to warn you to be wary of Trap masters. When you place the tracker dart a red pulse will fly through the air which both friendlies and enemies can see, which means if the enemy knows that you, the scout, are nearby. The tracker dart can also help find enemies that hid in a smoke screen, went inside a village, or any other way you can lose them.

Part 4: How To Treat Your Scout. Since scout is the only one who can see the UAV circle it’s best to stick with them if they make a drastic turn. Scout is another class that can’t defend himself with an ability so try not to let him go into a place where it’s easy to stay hidden when camping alone. If your scout helps lead you to hiding people that your able to kill, or if they help Scout the area use the “Thanks” voice command.

Bugs in featured events

First the Nikolai event had a typo(34 Instead of 36) and now there are two events where the rewards are not reflecting after completion.
While we love the load of content in the game, I think these little flaws can avoided by a quick testing befoe launching in the final servers

I didn't receive Nikolai Belinski

Recently I completed the task to get Nikolai Belinski which is to occupy 34 territories, I occupied 35 but I did not receive the skin, does anyone know if this is from the game itself or is it a bug?

BK-57 7.62 40rnd Magazine

This mag used to mention that it increased parts damage but was changed to say limbs specifically. That said, does it increase headshot damage? I'm looking for any shortcuts to grind headshots as the BK-57 is pretty painful as the recoil even with max recoil reduction is pretty bad.

bugs

why is it that the events don't give you the rewards? this used to happen to some people every now and again, now EVERYONE is experiencing the bugs. please, please. PLEASE fix these bugs! the rewards are cool and i want to be able to use them. not to mention the countless other bugs that are ruining the game. missing textures, character glitches, desync, etc. please stop focusing on draws and crates and fix these problems that are hurting this game. and i know that people are gonna downvote this post into oblivion, but i dont care. those people are hivemind bootlickers who believe the devs can do no wrong. i like the devs, but there are more important issues that need to be resolved.

Not sure whats going on?

There is a really bad bug if you play on more then 1 device ( play on pc and moblie)
everytime I login it error codes. Only is fix is too uninstall the game on both devices then log back in and it works.

quick Striker tip i've learned recently

running out of ammo doesn't mean death. if you're close enough to someone, you can shoot them 3 - 4 times before they die. if you're even closer (pretty much at point blank), they'll die with 1 - 2 shots. canceling Striker's reloading animation might be better than just waiting the full time.

Can’t connect to game without WiFi...

So I’m having issues connecting to any game mode without WiFi, anyone else have this issue?? I can load up and tweak out my load out but when it comes to the game modes I keep getting a can’t connect notification and it’s starting to irritate me. Anyone else gave this issue??

Keep joining games that have already started.

Since the Gunsmith update came out, I have not joined a single Frontline or Team Deathmatch game that has not started yet. Sometimes the gap is tiny, say I join about ten seconds after the start, but other times I have joined Frontline games where the winning team has 20 to 25 kills. Is this a problem caused by bad WiFi, the gamemodes I am choosing (I set it to a random between TDM, Frontline and Free For All, maybe the randomisation is a problem), or has anyone else had this problem? Mostly it's OK, but it's quite annoying to wait for a game to load only to find that your team is winning 24-12 and that there isn't much enjoyment on it for you anymore. Sometimes it can be fun to try and bring a losing team back from the brink of losing, but pre-update it would happen maybe once a week, possibly only two. If you have any solutions that would be great, thanks!

NOTE - I don't know what post flare really belongs on this post, Discussion or Feedback would probably be right but I'll go Discussion.

u/COD_Mobile_Official I have been facing an issue in Battle Royale where I cannot pick up Gunsmith weapons from airdrops. I have already tried reinstalling the game. Please look into the issue, it feels unfair going up against players who have Gunsmith weapons.

Having fully leveled and used every smg in legendary this season, I decided to write out a mini guide and personal preference tier list to them while bored, complete with my gunsmith builds. Comments/discussion/opinions welcome.

Just as a note I'm a huge fan of being aggressive while running suppressors and ghost as my smg playstyle, the gunsmith builds I share are just my personal favorites, and the list order is also my personal preference and not a hard accurate tier list; I'm at 10k points legendary with 1.6 kd so I'm not the best player but pretty decent and put in a lot of time so far this season almost entirely with smgs so these are my thoughts from my experiences in terms of what the guns are like. I will say that I think while some are pretty clearly better than others pretty much all the smgs are at least usable, the hg40 is op, and the meta smgs I see most in high rank are hg40, QQ9, and the Rus.

  1. Hg40. Definitely seems to be the best all around smg, perhaps even gun, in the game right now. Good ttk, good range, good accuracy, low to moderate controllable mainly vertical recoil, good iron sight, good attachments (its integral suppressor is one of the most efficient attachments I've seen so far), with standard smg mobility and handling, and on top of it all one of only two smgs to not have .9 damage penalty to the legs. Can be competitive up close and beam people mid-long range with fast ads and good accuracy/recoil all at once. You can't really go that wrong with it however you build or use it. One of the few guns I think needs an actual nerf, imo it should get the .9 leg multiplier other smgs have.

My favorite balanced gunsmith is tac laser, strike grip, no stock, 40 fast reload mag, and integral suppresor. But you can build it with ranged barrel/muzzle attachments or more ads attachments for your long/close range preference and both work well.

  1. QQ9. While the hg40 is the versatile powerhouse with range, the QQ9 is the versatile close range powerhouse. Extremely fast ads and strafing, a very quick rewarding ttk for landing all your shots to the chest but still pretty good even if you don't, with a bullet hose firerate that makes missed shots less punishing and spraying at people viable, and though the recoil is st...

Question about cheaters.

So, how does the Activision deal with cheaters? I know for a fact that Activision bans cheaters by banning their accounts. But, I think people would use app like "Parallel space" to play Codm with multiple accounts, and use cheats in some of them, for their reasons that are unknown to me. Does Activision use methods such as "Device flagging" or similar methods to prevent cheaters from multi accounting?

Tips for grinding Gold FHJ-18 as fast as possible. (Probably the hardest Gold Camo if you don't know how to grind for it...)

Tips 5 to 8 are essential if you don't want to end up pulling your hairs off.

1- This is obvious, but just in case: play Shipment 1944. If 10v10 is available, go for it, if not play Hardpoint, where matches take the most time.

2- Make sure you are running FHJ in all of your public-match loadouts. Just so you are always ready for the rare and valuable occasions an enemy uses a VTOL or XS1 Goliath.

3- Leveling the gun up should be fairly fast and straightforward if you play Shipment and destroy every Scorestreak you see, the gun only has 20 levels. The first 2 camo missions (destroying several score-streaks and UAVs) are also easy this way.
Additionally, if you use UAV and Counter UAV, the assists they give you will also count as XP for the gun you are holding. This helps A LOT whem leveling up any gun.

4- Third camo mission is destroying Sentry Guns. Using the Cold-Blooded perk helps a ton because enemy Sentries will not target you. Before shooting at it with the FHJ, shoot about 15 bullets with your main gun, that way you will only have to shoot one FHJ rocket at it. This shouldn't be too hard because people use Sentry Guns in Shipment A LOT.

5- Fourth camo mission is destroying 10 Transform Shields. This is where missions get pretty hard because the things you have to destroy are pretty hard to come by... For the Transform Shields I have 4 tips:
-Only shoot at it with the FHJ when the Shield is visibly damaged-burnt. It can tank 2 FHJ rockets so don't bother using it until you know it will destroy it. Shoot at it with your main gun until you can see it's about to break.
-The FHJ will only lock on to the front part of the Transform Shield.
-The FHJ will lock on to Transform Shields deployed by your teammates too and destroying them WILL count towards the camo mission.
-The FHJ will also lock on to your own Transform Shields, but destroying them will NOT count towards the camo missions.

6- Fifth camo mission is destroying 10 XS1 Goliaths. This is probably the hardest mission because the XS1 Goliath ...
