So, probably a stupid question, but when I updated codm, I can no longer find my Katana as a melee weapon. I have my knife in a couple skins, though most are gone, a baseball bat and pistol...I also have the Katana enabled in a couple skins who had it enabled pre-update.
Where did it go?

Rearrange camo challenges?

In Modern Warfare, the headshot camo challenge is the second camo challenge that you unlock, making it easier to earn headshots alongside getting longshots, kills with no attachments, etc...

In CODM, the headshot challenge is the second to last camo that you unlock, making it more time consuming and frustrating to get gold, not to mention that the hit detection for headshots is inconsistent. I usually like to get my headshots while simultaneously doing another challenges, like using 5 attachments or getting longshots. It's harder to do that here because by the time I unlock headshots, I've already finished the other challenges.

Do you guys think the devs should rearrange the order of the challenges and make the headshot challenge the second one you unlock?

Nuke confusion

I feel like my nuke button doesnt come up when I reach 20 kills. I just got out of a game where I went 43-0 with a relentless medal (20 kills) but I didnt get an option of calling in a nuke.

I confirmed by checking my stats and I have 9 nuclear medals, but only 1 ultimate terminator medal, which I got a very long time ago.

Could something be wrong with my controls or setting? Any advice would be welcomed.

Doesn’t make sense why Takeo is in a crate

I’m sorry but adding Takeo to a crate is a sneaky and weak move to me...they did this because they know people want all 4 Primis characters.. Dempsey Nikolai & Richtofen were either free or apart of the BP which is cheap they could’ve even added Takeo to a bundle but nah you guys are okay with paying $100 to get a character or gun just because the devs are doing a good job with the game...damn near everyone in this sub has rolled over and forgot about the overpriced crates these characters are NOT WORTH $50 to $100 of your hard earned money...now I know the devs gotta make their bread and I have no problem throwing $20 or $30 into the game because the devs actually care about giving us a good mobile game experience but these crates need to go idc how many of you downvote me I think Takeo should’ve been saved for when zombies return they shouldn’t have tried to cash grab because they know everyone wants the final character to the Primis crew...it’s just all bullshit to me

This is one of the worst cod mobile seasons(opinion)

I feel like the gunsmith and the other Features Really has been damaging for Codm. Ok so let me Explain gunsmith has Ruined codm the same way it did Modern warfare. But,that shows another problem.This game has little new and Original content.They had 0 self made maps even tunisia is like a Remake of a csgo map And even then this was made as a bo3 multiplayer mod map. Every single gun is unoriginal even the Renames. It took them 8 seasons to nerf the pdw. Sniping is now impossible (near close to). Ranked Is now ridiculous For gamemodes. I liked them random so Not just one Gamemode was selected. They killed off Hardpoint bc nobody wants to play it. Some of the skins are now pay to win because hit boxes and reznov has A colision Glitch with His hat his hat is not a Damage hitbox I Found this the other day. Thats only the tip of the iceberg SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS GAME.

What is going on?

What is going on?!

Seriously please fix CODM because it's hella broken rn, I mean I have to wait 6-30min to find ONE game that's ridicilous...
The movement is screwed up, the mechanics in the game is totally different and it's not acting smooth, the movement is broken asf.
I've enjoyed every season so far and I've been playing since S1, there has been some minor studf but there will always be that, but overall I'm happy.

But this season has done something to the game and it's not for the positive, there is so many bugs and so much glitches rn, we had to play a whole season with desync etc and we accepted it, but we still have the desync more or less tho.
The movement, voice chats, the amount of hackers, desync, friend lists, que times, mechanics etc....

It feels like all the focus is put on making new bundles and releasing new crates and just making as much money as possible instead of actually fixing the broken parts within the game which would lead to a 10x better game for everyone, I've spent over 300€ and I've played for countless hours, last season I grinded 6h per day and went top 30 in the world leaderboard.

But this season has just made me lose all motivation to play and my interest, it's to much.

What I want to say is that you are doing a great job and we appreciate that, I really enjoy this game. But for god sake PLEASEEEE fix it back to where it were, everyone was happy with that, everything was working great, PLEASE fix the problems!!!!

Are we going to talk about the terrible state of Matchmaking?

For the past days, the waiting times have been upwards of 200 seconds and beyond. It has even cost my team the ability to qualify for the championship, as it took us roughly 10 minutes to find a game, on average. At the moment, it took us 15 minutes to be able to find, and join a game with a 4 stack, after trying with a 5 stack. What is going on?

I played this game since first day it came out. I had a lot of progress and made a few purchases as well.

Eventually, I had to delete the game due to storage reasons, but I got a new phone and decided to get the game back.

When I logged back in, I discovered something horrible...
Everything was gone.

All of my progress was wiped, my purchases nowhere to be found.

This game

In november last year i was struggling deeply with alcoholism and i made the decision to give it up and attempt to change my life.as a cod player who had obviously lost his console i stumbled upon this game and thought it wouldn't be as good but it may give me something to concentrate on whilst i fight my demons. And here i am alcohol free and actually thanking this game for keeping me busy and getting me through so many sleepless nights. When i read posts complaining about small things within the game that anger people so much i relate as i shout at the game as much as anyone. But then i remember that this game got me through the hardest time of my entire life and everything i hold dear is still with me because of it. It is just a game but holy fuck it's a good one.

Uncommon skins are the best ones now

Hey devs, please make the rare skins cover the whole gun, they’re useless now. It would also be nice if we could see all the attachments in the blueprints too, maybe with a toggle to decide if you wanna keep the original look when you modify them. Dear CODM content creators.

Please stop saying that every gun you use is OP or cracked or the best weapon in the game. The devs are trying their hardest to have the most balanced game possible which is happening right now. For example, just because Mr. Jokesta say that the QQ9 is the best gun in the game doesnt mean that it is. Its a good weapon in the hands of a good player and thats what the devs are trying to do. There are bad weapons in this game but there arent OP weapons at least since season 6. You can that there are 10 guns that stand but there isnt one single weapon which is OP. Thank you for reading this.

Has anyone else's phone begun to get overly hot and the brightness turn down automatically since the update?

I have an iPhone X and ever since the update, my phone has been getting much hotter than it has while playing the last 6 months and the brightness turns down to compensate for the increased heat.

Has anyone been having this issue? Is there anything I can do to stop this happening other than buy a newer phone?

So, this happen often now?

Just came back after taking a break for 3-4 weeks. First match back, try the 10v10. Nothing spectacular, but I do ok. 13-2, third place. I do manage the final kill. Come around the corner, ads, clean kill.

And then the killcam comes up. In it, I never come around the corner. Instead, I aim into a wall at a downward angle of about 45 degrees, ads, fire, stop ads, then ads again, fire again, killcam ends.

I've never had that happen before. If I was one of those guys, and saw the same thing, I'd probably report me for some sort of hack. But I swear, that's NOT how it went down. 😆

Gun Balance

Let's take a moment to praise the devs for their hardwork in balancing the guns. If you guys notice, ever since s1 there has been 2 meta weapons used in every ranked game. Now with this update, guns aren't broken, and I know you guys might complain on the qq9 but fr this gun is outgunned by any other gun outside the 25m range. We are witnessing a balance in guns and a very wide varieties in guns now more than ever, we should be thankful and we sure will be as soon as all players get along with their loadouts.
The only problem now I'm facing is that it always takes 300 sec to find a match, I'm satisfied with the new system to earn/ lose points but I don't want to wait 5 mins to find a match.

I can't get my COD account back, HELP!!!

I was having problems with multiple apps on my phone so I figured a hard reset would be a good option. It solved most of my issues but it created one huge problem. I tried logging back in to my COD Mobile account, but it just took me through the player tutorial and had me make a new one. I tried linking to Google as that is what my account is linked to but it always comes up as unsuccessful. I'm very frustrated as I have spent months and hundreds of dollars on the app to get where I am now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ADS animation bug

I can’t see if the enemy team is aiming down their sight. One moment they’re standing unprepared, the next moment I’m getting shot and I’m dead. This is so messed up, especially when the opposing team has a sniper. I got sniped a lot of times and I can’t understand if they’re scoping in. So please fix that.

Tips for the gold cammos grind

I have not gotten yet all the gold camos, but I have at least 2 gold cammos in each category and platinum in some of the categories. This is the way that I am grinding for the gold camos.

When you are leveling up a gun always try to get at least one kill with your secondary, so when you start grinding with them you will already have some attachments unlocked. If you still have some double XP cards use them until you unlock the headshots challenges and then change weapon. I feel that double XP is the perfect for leveling up, because when you unlock the headshots challenges usually you have finished (or almost finished) the first challenges.

Scorestreaks: UAV, Shock RC (for the headshots), Counter-UAV/SAM turret.

  • ARs/LMGs
    • Hip fire: I am completing this challenge in Hardpoint/Domination Shipment. Use a laser that increase hip fire, extended mag and melee master. If you have already unlocked the merc grip, this challenge would be even easier.
    • Long shots: I am completing this challenge in Hardpoint/Domination Rust. Basically stay at the spawn where you can aim to the B flag. There is no need of using an optic. Use any attachment that you already have unlocked that gives you recoil control or stability (you will ADS very slow). An extended mag can also help. If you are have many troubles completing this challenge you can also do it in Rust. There is a place near the B flag on the outside of the trailer near of A. Aim to the enemies coming from the spawn that is on the other side of the map. There is a head glitch there.
    • Head shots: I am completing this challenge in Hardpoint/Domination Shipment. Basically the same idea of the longshots use attachments that gives you recoil control. Using a red dot is very useful too. I am using Skulker/Agile and Toughness.
  • Snipers/Marksman
    • Crouch/Long shots: I am completing this challenge in Hardpoint/Domination Crossfire. Nothing more is needed to be said. (The problem with long shots is that you don't when a kill is a long shots, maybe this challenge c...

[Garena] Communications bug. The comms suddenly turn off at different times to different players.

I'm not sure if this has affected global servers, but in garena, in both MP and BR, the communications suddenly vanish, forcing you, and your teammates to turn it on and off again just to be able to hear each other again. This happens multiple times during the game, and it happens in each and every game. It started since the update has launched and is pretty annoying.

I know some would say that using discord is a better option but running discord at the same time lowers the fps at BR pretty significantly in mid tier phones.

Performance absolutely tanking in all modes, especially BR

Since the Gunsmith update, my performance has been awful. Freeze frames are very frequent, and BR is all but unplayable, with crazy lag spikes and frame drops, and freeze frames during firefights. I’m on an iPhone 6S+ with low graphics settings and medium frame rate, and getting ~20-30 mbs internet. Any idea what the issue is?!

Help (Game crashes frequently)

Every time I play BR, every time, the game crashes at least 2/3 times. My teammates have to collect my dog tag and revive me, then i land on the ground and bam! Again!

Now if any of my friends even invite me, i just have to ignore (I play random matches mostly but still). It all started like a week ago. I played br matches after the major update without any problem until recently.

FYI,
my phone has 3 gb ram,

no storage problem whatsoever,

snapdragon 435 (ik its old) ,

I have a consistent broadband connection,

50/60 ms ping in game

and I play csgo on pc without any problem, unlike codm br.

I just reinstalled CODM, restarted my phone and it didn't fix anything so I am asking the community.

Fucking Crates and ‘Lucky’ Draws

Despite some work having evidently been undertaken in regard to how Crates work, it’s really disappointing to see a steady stream of Crates having emerged over the last week or so with some very decent content, but still stuffed with twenty five (in some cases) utter piles of shit that (I’ll venture) no one wants.

Devs, for the last time, please listen to reason, common sense and the users and end this shit off once and for all. I can honestly say if most, if not all of the recent Crates were Bundles, I’d buy em even acknowledging there’s some stuff in there I’d never touch, but instead I’m resigned to merely hoping these same skins will appear down the line in Bundles..

And Lucky Draws.. Everyone recognises these are not Lucky and this is reinforced by the stats you provide in each case..

I’ve elected to spend what I consider a reasonable amount against the two current Draws (about the same that I’d pay for a Bundle in each case) and have no qualms as have received some solid items. But with three items now remaining in each case I KNOW that I would have to pay somewhere between fifty and a hundred quid simply to get the two items I want - Archangel (brilliant skin) and the ASM10 Bunker Buster respectively.

The fact that I know most of that money would be spent on a fucking Charm isn’t merely ridiculous and a little pathetic, it’s downright offensive.

I’ve whined about this, hopefully semi-constructively before, as have others and I still don’t understand how you fail to see putting good stuff in a fixed/reasonably priced Bundle won’t result in more people paying for What They Want instead of continuing with this outdated, somewhat desperate, tacky and greedy approach which does the game and your hard work a disservice.

I thought you would have recognised this following the previous Bundle trials.. How you concluded, even if not that many people bought those Bundles, that people would willingly spend hundreds of pounds/dollars more for the same content, but also merely to obtain the usual mix of shite ...

Why do SMG's alone have everything?

They outclass everything else in MP. Highest mobility, highest TTK, highest ADS time, sprint to fire time and now with gunsmith, accuracy and stability too. Equipping any other class in ranked feels pointless except for may be in maps like highrise and crossfire where snipers get the spotlight.

I've picked up m16 earlier on today and that gun made me realise that bullets are changing directions to where we aim mid air.

It's so annoying and frustrating at once it's just ridiculous

Test it out, you can burst through the map and then move slightly to aim for your target and bullets will hit it anyway. Obviously its all happening in half a second but it is noticeable.

Definitely shouldn't be like that but what do I know

CODM BUG - screen shake

Does anyone experience sudden vertical "shakes" of the crosshair? I already disabled all types of gyro settings but it still persisted. I'm playing on an Ipad with the graphic quality set to low and my frame rate is high.

Am I the only one who thinks tripwire's damage is unbalanced? Like I just had this game, final circle, full health and I proc a tripwire and basically killed me. Is there anyway to reduce the damage except picking Mechanic or Defender

Any good HG-40 Gunsmith Setups?

Fun fact! Best rifle in battle royale.

Lk24 is the best AR in battle royale, the reason is because unlike other guns that get less damage compared to multiplayer, the lk24 doesn't have reduced damage as compared to it's multiplayer varient.

Glitch? Or a feature?

Not sure if I am the only one with this issue. I'm playing on Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and I can't look around while on ADS mode for these weapons during MP Matches:

RPD
Type 25
Artic 50
ICR-1 with Retro Nuclear Skin

However, I've not gone through every weapon so..

Also, I can't look around on katana mode and it's really frustrating. Not sure if this was a feature to nerf katana though..

How do I have ul736 at only level 38?

So I've been playing this game for a couple days now, and read online that the ul736 unlocks at level 115.

I have a bunch of assault, sniper, smg etc that are locked in my screen and I have to unlock them at a certain level.

But the ul736 is avaiable to me. I can equip and upgrade no problem. Whats going on?

Lag, Desync & Disconnects Persist

After two straight seasons of persistent Lag, Desync AND Disconnect issues, I vaguely recall assurances being given, no matter how questionable or misguided, that these issues would be reigned in if not resolved once and for all with the introduction of this season.. even after the multiple delays.

God knows I’ve persevered over the last week or so but I’m now managing roughly one playable (MP) game in five including multiple quits and restarts as a consequence. Dying to invisible fucking foes who don’t even show up in the replays anymore is just an added insult.

It’s not my intention to quit playing especially all the money I’ve spent, but I dare suggest you need to stop focussing on what you’re planning for the next Season and FINALLY fix what’s fucked once and for all BEFORE coming up with the next seasonal ‘feature’.. I was hoping for stability far more than Gunsmith this season but the registered 40ms in game doesn’t come close to the actual lag I’m experiencing, and given it also regularly spikes between 75ms and 118ms something is seriously wrong and it’s not with my device or connection.

I played my first Mobile Battle Royale having never even played a regular match before, and won with 8 kills all via hip firing... it felt like I was facing easy bots.

And then I played a regular FFA and placed second without even trying!

Are there a ton more younger children on this game or something vs regular COD for consoles/PC?

Camo Challenges are messed up sometimes

Anyone else feel like the camo challenges simply don’t work sometimes? Obviously the headshot hit boxes are messed up. There were two games I’ve played in a row where I destroyed a transform shield and I didn’t receive any camo for doing so. Anyone else experience this?

The DRH needs a big fire rate nerf
The RUS needs a small fire rate nerf
The ICR needs a slight ADS time nerf.

Fix the controller support PLEASE!

When I’m playing with a ps4 controller (iOS) there are just SO MANY bugs I have lost count of, there are a lot of players who like to play with a controller but it’s SOOO HARD to do it because of the bugs... walking diagonally doesn’t work, reloading takes 2-3 taps, can’t cancel reload with ADS and fire btn because it starts hip firing and won’t ADS, jumping, going prone and many other actions takes FOREVER to happen inside the game, ADSing gets stuck out of nowhere and I end up dying and MANY other bugs that make playing this game with a controller extremely frustrating

BR: Certain weapons appear to have broken hit registration

I’ve trying out different weapons in Battle Royale to see which gun builds can work the best for me, but ever since the update came out it seems like there are a few ones with totally broken hit registration. Before anyone asks me, I play with an average 20 ping and none of the exemples I am going to share down below were “bound to happen” - in other words, I wasn’t over-stretching out the gun’s abilities, like attempting to kill someone at the 80+ meters with the Type 25. In my play time here’s what I’ve noticed:

  1. The M21 is by far the most busted gun in BR: hit detection is absolutely inaccurate after the 10 meters range. There were several times I was shooting against people standing still in the 20-30 meters range and shots literally landed behind them. Yet, somehow, I was getting hitmarkers with my crosshairs off target. Used the Common rarity M21 as well as a Custom Airdrop Loadout. The XPR, the most similar gun to the M21, does not have this issues;

  2. Shotguns with Slug rounds also appears to have the same issue, but to a lesser extent. They also are very inconsistent: I was achieving random headshots at range dropping people w/ Level 2 Armor in a single hit where as body shots where taking around 3 to 5 hits. Tested with the KRM but I have friends that told me the same was happening to the BYI-15;

  3. Certain windows appear to be acting as invisible one-way walls, blocking shots fired from those inside but not from outside. This happens all around the map, but it appears to be random when it comes to location and the guns you’re using. Appears to affect mostly LMGs and Snipers;

  4. Similarly, rooftop ledges, walls, static vehicles like tractors and fences appear to be blocking fire from Crouch position, but not from Standing position. Affects some ARs, LMGs and Sniper Rifles;

  5. Last but not least: on hills, firing from the more elevate positions is a lot less accurate than firing from the lower positions, which makes no sense. Just like I am having trouble shooting from the high ground, I also a...
