Weapon XP card should return to players

Anyone thinks that COD should return the weapon XP card after they reset it our weapon level, I know they never commit on anything, but those experience was obtained by every user using time and efforts, or at least, they should unlock the limitations of sending weapon XP card to 5 friends. At least you can help your friends. What if you do it when the prestige level still keep on working for more than two season when all user reached level 150?

Can’t find a ranked match.

I’m at level 74 and cannot find a ranked match after hitting “Pro I”. I’ve tried with a controller and without. The list of online players show 10-18 online.

What’s the deal?

I’m pretty bad for my level. I was getting 2-6 kills per ranked match. Unranked matches are way too easy. I get at least 30 kills in those.

Should I kill my profile and start over? Is that possible?

Can someone clear my confusion?

A lot of pros and other players say that red dots and holo sights decrease ads time. But path.exe and my personal experience, both tell me that it doesn't affect it at all, or it's quite minuscule.
Soo... does the red dot and holo have longer ads than iron sights?

I've been having issues for a while, since like season 6 or something, where i cant use my controller unless I am pressing on the screen. In the past i have compromised and just used an auto clicker but im wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or knows a fix? Thanks.

Unpopular Opinion but.. Aim assist on snipers are kind of OP right now.

Well, was a sniper main in S1 (Tac Arctic Quickscoper) and returned to my roots with the Locus ads speed build. Ofc after not using snipers for so long i might have forgotten how to use em, but when I was hard scoping, my crosshair is literally right on em even if im not moving my fingers. This reminds me of BO2 sniping in console, where everyone just used the ballista because of Aim assist and absolutely wrecked everyone who came close.

Maybe remove aim assist entirely? or reduce its effectiveness. Right now, its hard to cross across important sections as a sniper is stationed there hard scoping.

My point for removing aim assist: Our screen (your aiming part) is literally a mouse but 2d. You have the "flick advantage" controllers doesnt. We can snap, 180 like using a mouse, and control recoil like a mouse. However, I am not saying remove aim assist on smgs, AR's. I am saying to remove mechanical assist from potential one shot weapons (ex: DLQ.) as this can tip the balance off.

Why is no one talking about...

... the UAV nerf?! They used to give you live data for where someone is at. Now it is like a sonar that gives you periodic location updates, like game modes that have constant UAV (1v1, sticks and stones, etc) but a bit more frequent. It’s DEFINITELY a game changer since the UAV gives you an idea where someone is but isn’t always up-to-date! I might not even use them in my score streaks any long!

SMRS double kill quest

This happened a few minutes ago, my smrs is max level so I do have the camo quest if double kills with it. If you make a double kill with your launcher but die before it explodes it doesn't count. It is rather annoying as it happened twice already.

Balancing of the operator skills

Imho this season's balances for the operator skills are the best ones till date except the katana it needs a slight nerf. All the other operator skills seem evenly matched and nothing feels better than the other. Except the katana.

Where is my BR map stored after I win?

When I win the classic single player version of Battle Royale, I get the map showing my travels, kills, etc that took place from beginning to victory. At the end, it says I can share this map with others. When I click on that option, it says it has been successfully stored. But it does not tell me WHERE it is stored. I have looked everywhere.

Anyone know?

I don't like the new update 😔😲🤣

BEFORE YOU GUYS GO CRAZY ON ME I HAVE TO SAY I WAS GENUINELY VERY EXCITED FOR THIS UPDATE BUT ALAS..
I have several reasons for my dislike:

  • Am I the only one who is annoyed at the fact that my guns are never going to perform the way they used to pre gunsmith? Now it's just hard to get a feel of the new gun performance so it feels like I'm starting to play for the first time all over again.
  • Also annoyed at the fact that all my guns that were fully upgraded are now level 1 so all those xp cards i used for them till now were technically a waste.
  • I play this game for entertainment and am not familiar with the call of duty console games and so the attachments are very confusing and I have a tough time choosing what I actually need.
  • Now that xp cards are a rare commodity me and my friends no longer send eachother xp cards because we don't have any to send and I miss that cuz it was really cute to send eachother cards back and forth lolll.
    I KNOW MOST OF THESE ARE PETTY WHAT CAN I DO

In game mic

Did they just disable the mics while in game? It works during pre lobby, but the second you start the match the mics don’t work. I know in game mics have had tons of issues over the last few seasons, and just curious if they just gave up(instead of fixing it) and disabled them when your in a game.
P.S. I know we can use discord so I’m not looking for “just use discord” responses.

Multiple thoughts compiled in a single text post

1): So this season I'll be going for legendary. I'd always just left the grind after pro 2, but this time around the qq9 is a reward at master which I simply cannot miss out on. For better and efficient grinding I'm thinking about teaming up from either a discord server or from here. But the thing is I'm really shy when it comes to communication and I'm anxious wether my gameplay will let my team down.

I'm doing decent this season, exceptionally well at SnD. Currently at pro2 rank.

I'm really shy and anxious and at the same time I want to play with others as well. What should I do?

2): I'm loving SnD this season. It's the only gamemode where I can actually carry and make a comeback

3): is anyone else noticing the spike of qq9 users this season? Last season not a whole lot of people were talking about it. But suddenly I'm seeing at least 1 on the battlefield every game.

4): can anyone help me out with maintaining a good ranked kd?

Don't you guys think the fact that we got skinned weapons in BR make players not wanting to buy skin? People buy skins to show off right? So the only time they can show it off is during multi-player matches or whenever you get the air drop from BR. Last season you were able to use your skins for all the BR weapons you pick up. I know you nerfed the molotov but please nerf it more

Everytime I go to a TDM ranked match people would kamikaze themselves with the molotov. Killing themselves doesn't count as a kill. However, the people they kamikazed is count as a kill. I went to a match with 4 of my friends and the enemy all hide into a house together and spam molotov whenever they see our team then jump into it to get another molotov, and repeat. We even tried to all lay down trophys and even all molotov them to counter it but we're all killed before we can do anything. Our team lost 11-50 to this strategy.
So please nerf the molotov or atleast make the suicide count TDM

Nerfing molotov didn't stop molotov spammers, they just equip shrapnel, throw two molotovs & die, throw-die-repeat, it is as simple as that for them. They have no skill, no dignity, nothing. Even if the gunfights they easily can win, they don't want to, why would they try, if there is other simpler ways?!! Please devs, this update is beyond amazing but something needs to be same as it was. For the people who would advice me to use trophy, I just wanna say that it can't protect me while I'm running.

Question about Gameloop

Hello guys, so recently I've really wanted to get back into CoD Mobile and I'm currently playing it on my phone, but since I have a PC I thought I'd rather play it there.
So I downloaded Gameloop and in Task Manager I noticed one process running which name was written using chinese characters, which leads me to my question.

Is Gameloop really safe because I'm really paranoid about that kind of stuff, since Gameloop is from Tencent and they are from China, you all know where I'm going with this.
Can anyone from their experience confirm is it safe, I read it some people's PC's started getting BSoD, others PC's slowed very much etc.

Again I will keep playing it on my phone because it is Mobile but I really also want to play it on PC so any info and help about this I'd greatly appreciate.

How does one gp about fighting Smoke Bombers in BR?

More specifically, during the last circles, in fairly open terrain and with no object big enough to hide behind. I know this scenario is highly in a Smoke Bomber's favor but there should be something to alleviate your situation. I use Ninja all the time and I get pretty good at it and I can every other class fairly well in this confined situations. Usually carpeting the area with smoke bombs and relying on footsteps, reverse card a Clown's zombie march down, being extra pro-active with grappling hook (say, timing a defender's shield and grappling pass his guard or counter it with my own flash grenades or making a smoke screen), or spamming jump-n-slide, or spamming grappling hook to let then exhaust bullets and fire during their reload etc.. Smoke Bombers, what is your weak point in those situations.. Is it better to rush inside the smoke and run around.. or spamming flash grenades into the smoke work?

Some bugs I found

I'm already not the biggest fan of S9, especially br, but heres some issues with MP I've been having.

  1. I can't use Katana (or SB) with any confidence anymore. Apart from the fact that some people managed to slide under my swing, which boggles my mind, it doesn't usually activate properly, especially if you're sliding or jumping when you press the button. Instead, it does a smoke, puts me in a messed up third person with a gun, and keeps my Katana ready to activate again. I have to wait ~5 seconds to do so and then finally my katana activates, by which point I'm usually dead.

  2. Don't use the 3x tactical scope 3. It doesn't let you look around at all when aiming down the sights, as if the right side of your screen is paralyzed.

  3. Climbing through windows doesn't usually work properly anymore. It gets me stuck standing behind the window and I have to crouch/slide to get through.

  4. Climbing up boxes and whatnot is super glitchy and unreliable now. Probably has something to do with the "optimized" animations, which aren't optimized so much as less complicated and imo worse looking.

  5. If you pull back an arrow with Sparrow and hold it as you walk, it sometimes bugs out and makes you teleport backwards every couple of seconds. I cant walk and aim reliably anymore.

  6. "Can I have a meatball sandwich?" where you're gun on the main screen isnt there. That one's funny, idrc.

  7. Desync. Really annoying at times when it counts.

  8. Support. It doesnt really exist. I've tried to sync my COD account on android with my iPad (wanna try the Ferg claw method), but the Authorization (2, -1) error always happens. I actually stuck around for 5 hours with my laptop open waiting for CODM support in a queue of 150 people, and then at the end it bugged out and did nothing. I just want to play on iPad man.

Despite all this, I think most of the changes could be a good thing in the long run once they're improved, but jeez it really seems like they rushed this patch without fixing a lot of important problems.

im getting this really annoying audio bug and just want to know if i could fix it

i hear it when i enter the main menu all the way till im in a game, basically i hear it everywhere in the app. It can be really annoying, especially in rank. it goes like woosh woosh wooosh wooosh. its like a cartoon noise of a person hitting something like a bush, i dont really know how to describe it. just wanted to see if anyone has a solution to this problem. all of my friends are getting them except for my one friend that plays on an android. im not sure but it seems like this only affects ios devices

Petition to remove ADS Bullet Spread Accuracy from the game

This stat is non existing in MW and is too much of a hazzle to figure out. It makes the game too inconsistent.

Having a low ADS BSA makes the game too inconsistent because no matter how well you aim your shots, there is no sure way to know they're hitting where you're aiming, effectively decreasing the rewards of developing skills like controlling recoil and memorizing firing patterns.

It's just an extra stat that creates clutter and contaminates the stats pool you can modify.

For example: It's almost impossible to get consistent headshots or be effective at long range encounters without a having near max ADS BSA. And, as proven in MW (almost 1 year old), there is enough balance in the game already with the existing stats, having one more and as inconsistent as this one will make the game a nightmare to balance.

Game consistantly crashes after the newest update

I have had no problems with the game (besides never being able to play saloon without the game crashing instantly) up until the newest update. Now whenever I go into multiplayer or loadouts/inventory, the game instantly crashes. Multiplayer is now entirely unplayable and occasionally the game will just crash when I log in. This has been happening since the update and is getting really frustrating, any help would be appreciated.

Need help regarding problem with my headphones :/

Hey guys, so today I bought a new pair of Bluetooth headphones, a JBL Infinity Glide. It's for my classes, music, and I thought it'd use it to play also. Unfortunately when playing CoD mobile, there seems to be a delay of 1 second or so. I checked other YT vids, songs, and even other games like pubg(no I don't like pubg but I play with my friends once in a while). Only while playing CoD, I'm facing this issue. Did they just nerf the Weapon xp gaining system. With 24 hrs and 10 match double xp i used to get 6-7 levels per match but after a 40 mb patch I'm barely getting 2-3 levels on my weapons?? ( From the ground up. Just got the Kilo and am grinding for that)

What's up with game?

In br or even MP, shooting a guy with full Mag, all hitmarker shows, but he kill you with one shot? How's this? Even in BR every single match to legendary and currently master 5 , I shoot guy before even shooting me with for example legendary qq9, he is not moving and all bullets go through him, but he slowly switch his weapon and kill me with 2 shots? Even I have adrenaline + full lvl3 vest.... I was confused till today and idk if it's happening to someone else, but it's annoying....

Issue with games not loading any help would be great.

The game will download over network but will not play without WiFi in any game mode. Previously this wouldn’t be an issue playing over a cellular connection but recently in the last week it has become one. Playing on an IPhone X running IOS 13.6.1. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game with no luck. I will leave a screen shot in the comments with the error shown.

Is unlocking the gold camo really so important!!!

People posting here so much about the gold camo, streamers posting many videos on gold camo but I ask my self is it really worth the grind, at least right now when you have a huge backlog on you. I think my priority is unlocking the attachments for all weapons, there are so many metas right now it's hard to choose, moreover no one know which one would be buffed or nerfed the next season. I think it would be worth the grind to unlock the gold camos only once I've unlocked all attachments for all guns. What do you guys think ?

An improvement to upgrading UI.

Hi. Here I'm going to show a way to improve the operation of upgrading something up because right now, we have to press boutons several times for leveling a weapon up and that's pretty annoying and boring of course.
As I mentioned before, the idea of this is to make things easier for the player and avoid unnecessary waste of time.

I want to make a complaint here to you cod developers, I feel really bad when I have a connection problem and I lose points in the ranking OBVIOUSLY I DID NOT CHOOSE TO FALL THE NET OKAY ????? And I lose point, I got tired of those ranking punishments. okay if I leave the game it's okay to lose points but now if I lose connection and the game forces me to leave the game and I get screwed because of that and it's an offense for me as a player.

The ranked matchmaking is unfair

I’m on a 7 games lose streak in ranked, each game I was MVP of my team, second position is always someone with like half my kills, and I do capture points in dom and hp. I’m doing my job. And then there are 4 puppets that haven’t realized they can jump and crouch.

What else am I supposed to do to win? Just keep queueing and hope I get matched with decent players? Why can even bad players reach higher ranks? Isn’t that unfair? The game should reward individual performance more. And if that’s too much (since there is already this sort of system but doesn’t give significant rewards), then match each players with people of their skill level (considering all 3 of rank, K/D ratio and average captures in dom/hp per game) Better players should go to higher ranks, while worse players should stay in lower ranks until the improve and then get matched with other people of their level.

For reference: I was at 8400 points last season (1.7 only ranked K/D) and currently suffering at pro 3.

Physical Changes to Epic/Legendary weapons

For the blueprint guns, you cannot actually see the changes applied to the barrel, stock, magazine, or grip. This is just a rant, but I believe that these blue print weapons (or at least the blueprints that are just a texture and don’t actually change the gun’s appearance/shape) should changed in the future to show these differences.

What are other’s thoughts on this?

Can we get a "Bugs" sticky thread?

I know a lot was added to this update and it's a pretty daunting task to catch everything before the release but I've yet to see an official place to go to discuss bugs and glitches found from this update. I know there's official ways to report such things but I've reported stuff I've came across and yet to hear back from anyone. I suspect it's from the overload of incoming reports the devs are receiving. Perhaps something in the discussion format might help organize the dev team to more efficiently work on the major issues.

Returning Player - what's up with battle royale now?

Today I started playing CoD mobile again. Haven't played since season 3 but used to play a lot and even got to the top rank in BR in season 1.

Anyway, what's happened to BR? It seems like it's been totally butchered?

No more weapon attachments found as loot? I relied heavily on this as I would change my build depending on my role. For example if someone took scout in squads, I'd tend to go ninja as my second choice. But when playing ninja I always wanted to have silencers. Now i can't adapt my build at all?

I get that there will be more fights towards airdrops as that's where you can get your custom weapons but it still doesn't help me. I'd typically try and get an AK117 and keep multiple attachements to adapt to situations. E.g. if i were scouting I'd put on a tactical scope but when in fights I'd use red dot. Equally I'd switch to a long barrel instead of silencer if shooting long range. I now can't do that as I have to pre-decide what I want on my AK117 before the match even begins...

Then there's the sheer number of weapons now. There's simply too many and things like tempest or annihilator are so overpowered it makes the game too easy if you get hold of these. The thermal sniper was just right in overpoweredness as it required accuracy to use but these weapons pretty much 1 or 2 shot enemies with auto aiming.

The mods I think I can get used to as it at least adds some customisation but from my experience so far, purple or gold mods are pretty easy to find and after you find these, looting is pretty much pointless for the rest of the game which kinda defies the point of BR imo.

That said, the new animations and cinematics are quite cool.

Stop sleeping on the M16.

It's so broken rn. With a max controls/accuracy build it's capable of landing 1 burst headshots out to nearly 70 meters with regular consistency. It also has nearly 100 accuracy meaning shots go where aimed and will never deviate from the point of aim. Highly recommend y'all give it a shot.

How to get gold skins Efficiently

To get gold skins you can go about it two ways

  1. Start out with maxed out gun using xp cards
    2.Unlock gold while maxing out your weapons since not everyone has thousands of xp cards( done by using 3x boost method by stacking blue and green double xp cards).This is the method i use
    It would be better if you already had upgraded your weapons in s8 as it gives you few levels to start of with.

For smgs:
Dragon camos mostly will be unlocked right from the start if you upgraded you gun to max level in s8 .Go on shipment and hip fire using a Hipfire build..if you get 50 kills then you get about 24k weapon xp which will unlock the next category for long shots..
For long shots go on rust and start shooting at a distance roughly from the spawn to first hardpoint , same goes for Ar's, lmg's and shotguns. Basically everything other than snipers and marksman rifle which you do on crossfire
For tiger , it happens automatically so no need.
Make sure to drop atleast 40 kills so that you get a good enough boost
For headshots,id say you build the loadout with highest accuracy and hide the muzzle flash,and aim a bit above the head so when you pull down it goes only on the head and not on the neck or body( do on shipment,i drop about 25 headshots a match)..for maxing out a weapon and getting gold it will take almost 10 matches ..if you have pending challenges try stacking them together to save time.. ive already done 11 gold skins, the hardest of these is the headshot challenges

Inconsistent snipers

The hitboxes are inconsistent.sometimes we can't know if the enemy is dead unless we see kill broadcast on the left side.
Also the bullet drop of kilo sniper in battle royale is weird.
We can't see the bullet trajectory of it , thereby we cannot judge the bullet drop (the bullet drop of arctic , dlq can be seen if we shoot into the sky).
Please fix this.
I've been using kilo from my load out with 6x and I can't seem to hit long range enemies no matter how I adjust my aim.

Hope everyone is enjoying season 9 and staying safe. I am now coming to you all in the hopes of finding this sub's new mod team!

I am currently looking at getting 5-10 new active mods who will help keep the sub clean of toxicity, spam, and other rule-breaking content. I am looking to get mods in both NA and EU time-zones, so don't worry about applying if you're in a strange timezone, it may be a plus!
If you don't physically live in those areas, but you work nights or are otherwise consistently active during the prime time in those parts of the world, please let us know in your application.

For anyone interested, please read the rest of this post in its entirety for a rundown on how we plan on recruiting.

Mod applications will remain open until Saturday, SEPTEMBER 12th.

Process:

When we recruit new mods, we go through 2 'phases' to ensure we're making the right decisions, as each mod is a representation of the entire subreddit team.

  • First, we have an initial round of applicants fill out a questionnaire to gather basic information.
  • After we trim the applicants down to a few strong candidates that fit what we're looking for.
  • Finally, the remaining candidates will enter a period as a probationary moderator. After this period is over, we'll decide who will continue as a big boy mod all grown up.

Requirements:

Without meeting these, we appreciate your interest, but your application will not be considered:

  • Active on Reddit (we'd prefer to have a smaller amount of active mods over a large amount of inactive mods)
  • Active on Discord (we use Discord for coordination and staff discussions)
  • Over the age of 13
  • A reddit account at least 6 months old
  • A good standing in this community

Preferences:

These will not make or break your application, but will definitely help:

  • Familiar with extensions like RES/Toolbox
  • Previous experience moderating
  • Experience with CSS
  • PC User (Discord & Reddit)

Am I the only one who feels the M.O.W. is underwleming?I have tried multiple builds(SMG,snappy AR, long range AR, laserbeam,Pseudo-DMR) and it just feels like it can't do anything right.I wish there was a low calliber ammo option, or at least a stoopping power reload(like on the DH-R)

Please improve matchmaking we have to wait for 360 seconds everytime to get matched and it matching against the same team they also wait for 360 seconds it doesn't make any sense my buddies have started to hate the game and you are losing player base because of this .

I quit ranked mp. Molotovs have ruined the game. Period.

And I refuse to play any objective matches untill they go back to being score streaks. I thought I'll do away with it in tdm, but even in this mode molotovs are absolute cancer.

Objective modes are just unplayable. Sure, there are trophies. But the idea of me trying to single handedly cap an objective while trying to fight 2 to 3 enemies is just dead because the trophy can handle only two projectiles and the blind thought of every enemy is to chuck a molotov at the objective. There is no factor of triumph, strategy, or mechanics at all. I don't feel like I'm playing codm anymore.

Whose bright idea was it to take an equipment that does instant aoe damage upon impact and make it instantly available to everyone? The whole idea of an army based fps shooter is dead. Both the teams keep throwing molotovs and we don't even know which is which.

Please devs, send it back to the hole it crawled out from, make it a score streak, make codm great again.

Ps: pretty sure the ideas of juggernaut and molotovs were both suggested by the same person.

Gold FHJ / Platinum SMRS / FHJ not unlocking

The gold FHJ and platinum SMRS / FHJ are not unlocking for me. I have seen more posts about it, but yet to see anyone actually unlocking it now.

I have tried leaving the lobby, restarting the game and hit the play button through the camo section. I also destroyed something with the FHJ the games I played.

Has Battle Royale lost its best feature?

I've played close to a thousand Battle Royale matches since launch and am thankful for the new content and diversity added to the BR mode. The weapon mods are a lot of fun, and the reduction in bots has also gone a long way. However, while I appreciate the randomized weapons (with fixed attachments), I am also worried that we've lost a key component of BR:

Steadily building your arsenal over the course of the match.

Since the update, once I (or we) find a good enough weapon, the remainder of the game consists of walking/driving around hunting bots or players who haven't found a good weapon. Once the crate drops, the game is essentially over.

The addition of gold-tier attachments last season was fantastic. Even during the final stages of the match, it was a blast trying to fully trick out your weapon, trading attachments with teammates, and quickly switching scopes based on the situation.

Now, the average match seems to have been reduced to "find a good gun and then you are done."

I like having fixed attachments on guns high-tier weapons, as it creates a necessity of learning how to best utilize all equipment, but it would be nice to see the base weapons and attachments return, as well, especially if the attachments were harder to find. This would also allow us to continue using the awesome epic/legendary skins we've paid for over the past year.

Building up a quality weapon was my own favorite aspect of BR. I know not everyone feels the same way, but I just don't find the mode to be anywhere near as much fun due to that now missing aspect.

Anyway, happy to have a discussion, and thanks to the development team for continuing to add content to Cod:M!

Recent Players Inviting (spamming) You Post Game

This might get downvoted but to me it's just a hassle. I think this occurs to others aswell.

See the issue that I have is that after doing very well in a match I will receive multiple game invites from "recent players". This is a hassle because it feels like I'm just getting spammed after every game. I've also had "recent" players that I've played almost a week ago still continue to invite me. I do understand that there is a 5 minute mute button, but players will still continue to invite me. I wish COD could add a DND (do not disturb) button in order to negate the post game invites (from friends/recent players) until the option is turned off by the player.
