GUNSMITH'S WEAPON PERKS : Explained

New gunsmith is quite confusing to some Users, Some people are having hard time with it, But CODM allready explained about new weapon perks & What they actually Do to your customized gun. Let me just make a list & Make it easier For you Guys to Decide Which weapon perk you're gonna use.
Some perks are common in every type of guns, So I didn't mention them everytime. So Here You Go..

☢️ ASSULT RIFLES :

● FMJ : Increase bullet penetration damage.
FMJ has never straight up increased damage to players.

It only increases your penetration against surfaces so bullets carry more damage when shooting through objects.

So for example you deal 50 damage with a rifle. Normally if you were to shoot through a wall it does 20. If you had FMJ on it would increase to say, 30 damage. Means It gives you ability to Wall-Bang enemy.

● SLEIGHT OF HAND : Reduce reload time of your gun.

● WOUNDING : Damaging the enemy slows their HP recovery for a short time.

● FULL AMMO : Respawn with full ammo. When equiped it gives you 2X of total ammo, For Example KN44 gives you 120 ammo by default, But When this perk is equiped, the total number of ammo becomes 240 & You'll get it everytime after reswapnig.

● DISABLE : Damaging enemy's leg reduces their movement speed for a short time.

● TOUGH : Increase movement speed for a short time after respwan.

● LONG SHOT : Slightly increase range & Bullet velocity.

● MELEE MASTER : Returns 3 bullets after it has been used to kill at close range.

☢️ SMG

● WILD HIPFIRE : Increase hipfire accuracy while sliding or jumping.

● DOUBLE KILL : Double kill immediately refill ammo.

● FAST RELOAD KILL : Damaging the enemy increases the reload speed for a short time.

☣️ SNIPER :

● BULLET RETURN : Weapon kills have the chance to refill ammo.

● FAST SWTICH : Increase Weapon swap speed. Example : Sniper with a Rifle or Knife.

● HEADAHOT SLOW : Headshot slows enemy movement for a short time. I Guess Many snipers are Two shots kill ( Ex XPR-50) , This perk is Specially for These Snipe...

Hey all, I am currently trying to get gold for all my SMG's. I have gotten it on the cordite, and next is my qq9. Now all I want from y'all is a no recoil setup for the QQ9. One of the missions is to get kills with headshots so I need to make sure my gun doesn't kick too much. Y'all have any suggestions?

They need to nerf the M4!! Asap

Hear me out! I love Gunsmith and what it brings to the table but I've come to notice that, when playing BR, most players just ditch their customised guns and use the Legendary M4 you can get at one of the air drops because it's such a good gun. I believe you can copy the attachments and use it for your own customised guns too.. So, I propose the nerf, not because nice-guns-should-be-automatically-nerfed BUT instead, i want people to give gunsmithing a real try. I would love to see a good collection of modded guns used by real players ya know but instead it's just... M4 everywhere.. because it's so damn easy to use..

Invincible UAVs

Sometimes you can't destroy an enemy UAV with neither gunshots, rockets or even VTOL guns.

Has happened a lot to me while grinding camos for the 2 launchers.

Weird bug in BR

A good majority of the time every time I down someone in BR, my FOV goes haywire. This really sucks when you're trying to take down a sqaud because the whole camera goes fucked and you're just pointing at the sky like a fucking fruitcake.

New update made me bad?

Not sure if I'm the only one, but for me, after the gunsmith update I feel clunky, can't seem to get kills, and everyone I encounter gets the drop on me. Not to mention I can't even drop shot anymore because more often than not I get prone blocked. This happening to anyone else?

The desync issue. When will it actually be addressed? Insta kills and lag getting tedious.

So you guys over there going to release a patch anytime soon for the desync problem that's worse since the update? I know you all have been hush hush about saying anything regarding the fix, but you said prior to the update things should be better. When it released there was nothing in the notes and when questions were presented they went unanswered.

Personally getting tired of unloading half a clip or more into an opponent just to have them instant kill me with their RUS or ASM, etc. Kill cam shows I died in less than a second and on my screen I died almost as though I was hit by a sniper even though I'm full health. Or I'm sliding into cover yet dying as though I was standing still in the open. Shit is getting old real fast. Or in BR it's as though a vest is made of aluminum foil for all the good it does as it seems the client and server are on different pages. Or rather reading a different book entirely.

How about it? Care to share some information with your players? I'm not the only one experiencing it.

Weird bug with new item exclamation mark in BR Class selection

Device type and operating system version.
iPhone X iOS13.6 and iPad (6th G) iOS13.6 and literally any device.

Date and time of reported match.
Every day since last season update

What the bug experienced is, audio bug, visual bug, clipping, animation, physics, etc.
GUI bug

Tried reinstalling the app on both devices, I also installed it on an Android device and nothing happened. The exclamation point is stuck there no matter what I do.

Spectate and report

So I was playing BR solos trying to reach legendary, and I noticed that if someone killed me there is no spectate button! Don’t know why! But I bit that the one that killed me is hacking 100% because He was so fast and one shot me boom I’m dead that fast that easy. Yes I was wearing lvl 3 vest.

Is matchmaking a glitch right now?

I get that not a lot of people have reached legendary but matchmaking is still bad in master lobbies, and the funny thing is that you always get a match around the 360 seconds mark. Even when we've just finished a match and we start queueing up, the team we just played against starts queuing up too. But we have to wait 360 seconds to get a game and sometimes we wait 360 seconds to go up against the same team.

Balancing molotov.

Since Molotov become a lethal equipment, you can see the entire map on fire with people spamming it every time they can, nerfing it by taking out the damage wouldn't resolve it as well, so what about giving Molotov a cooldown? Like 1~2 minutes, and after you use it, the cooldown keep going even after you die, that way everyone will think about using it in the most efficient way than just throw it every where.

Season 9 is BROKEN

this last update from couple days ago made the game unplayable for me. ios 12.1.1 (jailbroken - only to connect a ps4 controller). the game crashes as soon as it detects a controller connect, i already tried the usual steps of uninstalling/restarting/ so on. anyone know of a fix for this problem? literally only use controller for BR and that’s it lol. can’t be jailbreak detection imo, because it should’ve crashed otherwise then. if anyone has a link to 1.0.15 ipa then lmk! thanks.

BR problem - cant do M4 laser like previous season

Hi Gals and Guys.
All previous seasons my go to weapon in BR was m4 with a tactical scope, quickdraw and stability attachement. I could full auto up to a render range.

I cant reproduce this with a customized M4. Gun is shaking to the sides, accuracy is all over the place in a medium range. In medium to long range im sure im missing 75% of bullets due to accuracy. Medium and long range ttk is horrible.

I know there is an error in my customization. Any die hard m4 br fan could help me?

My setup:
Owc marksmen
Tactical scope
Mip strike stock
Ranger foregrip
Rubberized grip tape

Please help. Is the other weapon a new „long laser gun”? Or is my customization just plain wrong?

Am I the only one who is gonna post about voice chat being broken?

Voice chat is super broken,when I’m in lobby it randomly disconnects and reconnects and when we are in game mid game it stops and can’t hear my teammates and they can’t hear me (this is how it is in br) and in mp it stops like in br but when I change channel I can hear then for a bit then they disappear again even tho they don’t change anything plz fix this I can’t play the tournament like this

Controller support question

I searched for topics about controllers here and whether they are an advantage because I’ve been using a ps4 controller on my iphone.

I keep seeing people say controller support isn’t good and touch is basically just as good — I feel like that’s not the case and my controller works really well.

I’m winning most of my games and normally on a console I’m terrible, is it just that I’m not playing ranked and that’s where all the good players are?

Issue with audio after update

Anyone else facing an issue with in game audio after latest update? I use iPhone XR and I am on ios 13.6.1. I usually play with a squad and before update even if the audio wasn't flawless but it wasn't as broken as it is now. I have to keep clicking on team after every 10-15 seconds otherwise I am not able to hear any teammate. Same issue in both MP and BR.

Why So Much Hate For Season 9

Before I begin I understand the frustration of having all of your XP gone (for me my XP was halved and I was only able to fully max out my QQ9) but for the past 3 days I was able to max out on 6 guns by just playing the game without using XP. The options that gunsmith are clear as day. At first I was a bit overwhelmed but ecstatic about the gunsmith feature and all the options it has. Eventually I got the hang of it really quickly, but I feel like the people who hate on it are just being lazy to grind for the attachments (which aren't hard to get honestly just play shipment rapid fire and you'll be good) or just to stubborn to gradually understand the feature. I get the little bugs and the Molotovs being a lethal now (they should put it back as a scorestreak btw) but idk that's just my opinion. Maybe y'all can explain more on why you dislike season 9.

Can someone explain Legendary, Epic, and other guns? Prior S9

Hi, I know with the new season they are already blueprints, but I never understood them even before season 9. I only always use free guns in the game and the ones you get from challenges maybe that’s why I never understood them. I also noticed for some skins of some guns when I upgrade them they reached level 12 instead of the normal 10, does this have something to do with it? Couldn’t find websites that clearly explained the difference between legendary, epic, rare etc, but I’d still like to understand them now even with the new season. Can someone explain them? Thanks

Unique sensitivity

Do y'all know a way to calculate the sensitivities to be the same? For example, I got 120 on camera; a way to calculate the same value but in other sensitivities categories... Do you know what I mean? Like in console games, the values of sensitivities goes from 1 to 10 or higher.

Italian version have missions translated wrong

There are alot of Mission that say to use cold blood,and cold blood in Italian Is "spietato". Why Mission says to use sangue freddo? What Is that. I know what Is cuz the Mission Is bad translated for 9 seasons but alot of people don't so all Italian cod facebook to the same post cuz they don't know what "sangue freddo" Is. AND,last season some missions telled us to use wrong x attachments and weapon,so we needed to swap the language for the game. This season nothing like that happened but the sangue freddo thing yes

CAMOs on BLUEPRINTs

Chopper Blueprint and QQ9 Blueprint, both obtained from Battle Pass.
But how come Chopper Blueprint can be equipped with camo and QQ9 Blueprint cannot?

Even the ICR-1 Blueprint obtained from the event can be equipped with a camo.

While you were enjoying your daily molotov sauna, I finished data testing a large portion of the attachments available in the gunsmith.

If current gameplay would require more than a handfull of braincellz I wouldn’t complain

I can’t fight against hip fire sprayers, I can’t fight against molotov, I can’t fight against katana, I don’t want to fight against persistence vtol, I want to be able to hit my 100% accurate shots with my sniper, I don’t want to wait weeks to ads with my snipers, I don’t enjoy the game where assult rifles being more sniper than actual sniper rifles

Just to make majority enjoy the don’t give up on it

I never had the same fun as I used to in season 1

Is it just me or has the new update shit the bed? I can be wrong but normally when I put many rounds in a person of 9mm and the switch to 5.6 and put more rounds in them they still kill me. All the updates are shit. You have no clue if you will have a scope in your weapon or not

Arctic .50 vs Outlaw vs DL Q33?

Which one do you prefer for long range? Which one for short range?

Please fix the queue time for ranked matches

its taking 100s + to find a game with all modes enabled during the day and 300s+ at night. i can understand waiting for 2min or more if i wanted to find a particular game mode but having everything checked should give me faster queue time at least. yesterday night i ended up getting 3 snds back to back after waiting between 300-400s. id rather play br or pubs than watching the match timer go up.

Breaking down the whole Gunsmith system

i know that somebody already did this, however i wanted to break it down in my own style
#Recoil/Stability
-Recoil is where your gun kicks either upwards or sideways ( going both directions randomly )
-Vertical Recoil
-This is the kind of recoil where it only goes upwards, it's easily controlled by dragging the shooting button down, so I don't really recommend using attachments for it, but rather learning how to control it, however if you're new here are some attachments you can use to increase vertical recoil control
-OWC light compensator muzzle
-OWC Ranger barrel
-Grip tape
-Merc grip
-Lateral Recoil
-This is the second kind,which goes side to side, it's impossible to control so if the gun has a lot of Lateral recoil, don't hesitate to put stability attachments,here are some you can use
-OWC Light Compensator
-OWC Marksman barrel
-MIP strike stock
-OWC grip ( available on certain guns )
#Spread

Ranked Multiplayer should reset every month

In my opinion the ranked multiplayer could be more competitive if it resets every month. The fact it restarts every 2 months makes people get to legendary more easily, most have no skill at all or get carried. There is when we find no good players to match up with, and get bot like teammates. Unless if for some reason it won't happen. How about add more ranks.

A Complete Breakdown Of The Gunsmith

i know that somebody already did this, however i wanted to break it down in my own style
#Recoil/Stability
-Recoil is where your gun kicks either upwards or sideways ( going both directions randomly )
-Vertical Recoil
-This is the kind of recoil where it only goes upwards, it's easily controlled by dragging the shooting button down, so I don't really recommend using attachments for it, but rather learning how to control it, however if you're new here are some attachments you can use to increase vertical recoil control

The extraordinary Battle Royale!

Here,I literally love the new update but here I'm facing 2 kinda bugs!

  1. Voice glitch,we team mates often cannot hear each other during Battle Royale matches!

  2. I am not able to enter into some buildings in camp grounds,crash and farm! When I try to enter those buildings,it just pulls me back and all feels like a lag but it all happens at same place Everytime!

Help me COD Mobile community I'm losing my mind!

Ok, I have the most annoying issue. In my loadout section, I have a perpetual exclamation mark. For some reason, only on the PDW 57, there is an exclamation mark that never leaves. It always leads me to gunsmith, and then does nothing else. There's nothing new, I've looked through every category, customization option, EVERYTHING. It never leaves and has been annoying me for 3 days now. If anyone could please help me, that would be great thank you all in advance.

Fucking Molotovs(Season 9 Update)..

Devs please get rid of them or put them back where they were last season. The game has become really annoying, especially during Hardpoint and Domination matches. Everyone's K/D Ratio getting messed up as well. Hold a point, die, run halfway across the map after respawning only to run into another molotov dicktail and this on its own becomes a cycle. You might be saying trophy system, but it disappears after a certain number of deflects. And don't forget the friendly fire. Molotov cocktails aren't friendly. A teammate runs across in front if you while you throw it and everyone (friendly or hostile) is roasted. This is my favorite mobile game and I've spent alot of money on it and now you're ruining my experience. Please do something about this.

Gunsmith glitch?

Gunsmith offers a variety of different ways to improve recoil and accuracy on a weapon. But on the qq9 (I haven't thoroughly tested any other weapon), it appears that no matter what you put to improve accuracy, you basically get the same result each time. The qq9 recoil with the help of any attachment that improves accuracy goes right and vertical at the same time. If you add even more attachments that increase accuracy, the vertical recoil becomes slightly slower. I tested all the foregrips, and rear grips, and have gotten basically the same recoil pattern each time for the qq9. For the qq9, you legit only need a rear grip, and then choose attachments that increase ads speed and movement speed for the rest. Absolutely no point in putting more accuracy attachments as it basically gives you the same recoil pattern. Are any other weapons like this?

Monolithic suppressor(muzzle) increases the ads time by 33.3ms ( 2 frames), but also gives 25% range boost, while the monolithic integral suppressor decreases the ads time by 16.6ms (1 frame) but doesn't increase the range.

Changes we need in Battle Riyale
  1. Like to equip guns in our own way rather than using pre quipped gun.
  2. Want to use our own collection of legendary skins of our favourite guns.
  3. It's pretty annoying to go for airdrops all time to use your favourite gun. It's really killing the enjoyment of the match to go for airdrops all the time.
  4. Voice Chat is going to be more problematic in each season update. From Season 3 to season 9, this problem becomes a major issue which isn't still fixed.
  5. New area should be more interesting. Buildings of each area should be little bit different than other areas, not just putting same type of buildings in some random way to make a new area.

Unlinking Google account

I downloaded the game about a year ago but due to storage I had to delete it. I recently redownloaded it but accidentally linked the wrong Google account and I can't figure out how to switch to my other one. I've tried to uninstall it and delete the game data but when I redownloaded it it still automatically signed into the wrong one. I have auto sign in off for the Google play account. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Flash Bangs

One thing I’ve noticed is how ridiculously overpowered those shields with the flash are. The fact that it completely whites out and disables my screen long enough for the person to kill me is, in my opinion, a bit too much? I noticed that it used to be far less strong when you were farther away from the shield, but this time around it completely blinded me for 3 seconds when I was quite far away.
Personally, I think that the flash system should be changed or at least weakened. It’s arguably useful, but players relying on it ruin the experience. Thoughts?

Last Kill Replay

Just lost 3 consecutive ranked matches because everyone rushes to get that sweet glory of being on screen. Leading 45-37 in one of the matches just to get gang banged by the enemy team and losing. 49-47 and watching your whole squad molotoved from zoning in to that one guy playing smart and taking cover. In one match noticed 2 of my teamates switching to snipers to get a last kill quick scope only to get owned. Why. Wish they would remove the replay.

What is going on with ranked? Days before the new season I’d get into legendary games instantly no wait times. Then suddenly a new season and now I’m waiting 300 seconds or more per game? I think they broke it or something, I’m finding it hard to believe that nobody is playing ranked anymore.

Season 9 Multiplayer is disappointing

In the beginning I was excited for season 9 and thought it would be great. Battle royale is really fun this season and props to the devs for that but multiplayer is so bad. I am in master 5 right now and few points short to legendary, I know I'll get there but now ranked is just chaotic and stressful.

The game has lost its balance in this season. Earlier everyone had a favourite gun, they learned to control its recoil and improved their accuracy etc. However now guns dont mean much, any gun can be made 0 recoil and have good control and doesn't take much skills other than knowing to shoot. If you are in a 1 v 1 situation, you will only secure a win if you drop shot(or have insanely good close range movement) and he cant shoot you but otherwise gun control etc are almost equal with attachments.

Last season there used to be players who only play obj, after this update playing only obj wont help you increase your rank, atleast not right now, because you will just get molotoved or shot by some guy across the map with his msmc and God like control over this gun. Most guns are all equal now and can have good control/no recoil. The best thing you can do is to not rush and to wait behind head glitches, change spots to not get killed or play some other mode less chaotic like search and destroy.

Another issue is, if you are say in mollytown or any other map once you get spawn trapped there is no way to comeback now in comparison to last season, I am sure you get what I mean if you have experienced it. The game is totally different now, once I reach legendary I wont play it anymore for this season.

Also, it was a stupid idea to make molotoves have high damage and a lethal weapon, last season we had time to run out of molotoves but now the problem is molotoves cover a huge area and have really high damage you cant run out of it. Molotoves are a sure kill and because of this literally everyone is spamming them.

I have been spending a lot of time in this game for months and every season they introduce exiciting featu...

found a possible tactic that could help others to get gold camo faster

i only did this for one gun so i’m not super confident this works 100% just yet (it could have been a coincidence) and i’m not sure if this ‘tactic’ is well known rn or anything

but anyway:
i figured that i could equip the gun into every 10 weapon slots however each gun in each slot has a different camo that i didn’t play with yet which is the requirement to get gold camo

Gunsmith help for the ICR, QQ9 and the AK47.

Hello, I've grinded and upgraded these 3 over the week but I've been slapping on random attachments. If accuracy works, the other somehow brings down mobility and stuff. I'd be grateful if you guys could offer me your pick of attachments that are working fine.

  1. ICR to be used as a mid to long range gun. Emphasis on accuracy and range.
  2. QQ9 to be used with ghost and silencer. Sneaking up behind enemy lines. Emphasis on mobility, accuracy and damage.
  3. AK47 to be used as a close combat gun. Emphasis on mobility and accuracy.
    Perks are also welcome. I have not used optics on the QQ9 and AK, but do suggest if you think otherwise.

Anyone else having this issue on br?

Has your weapon just seemingly randomly switched to single fire from full auto? Even though I play a fair share of battle royale it has only happened to me very few times, so I guess it's a bit rare. I mean, the button is so small and isn't somewhere close to where I press very often.

First time I remember was yesterday, and it caused me to get killed... By a bot of all things 😂 Someone was shooting someone else nearby and since I had muffled perk I thought I was shooting with a funny sound, but when I noticed he wasn't dying despite firing point blank I started pressing again and understood what was happening. Tried quickfiring, but it was too late.

Last time was a few minutes ago, where the last guy and me were on the same tank, and when the final reduction was about to happen I switched seats to the inside of the tank. The guy was so confused looking for me from the gun up top, so when the safe zone started shrinkihe got off and started healing from what I tried to run him over, so I took the chance and got off the tank, went around it to where he was (didn't hear me because I had ninja skill) and I took out my legendary cordite (my other gun was a legendary artic .50) and when I tried blasting him... My gun "jammed". I still shot him like 3 times, but the edge of the safe zone got him first 🤣

Kar 98 for gyro players

Can we please not have the ironsight Kar count as ads sensitivity for gyro since it's a sniper rifle. Because with the Kar and other sniper rifles you have to be really precise in order to hit a shot well. But with ars and smgs gyro is super useful for controlling recoil.

An Important issue with the watchable advertisements(NSFW)

Recently since season 9 has started the ads I've been getting for the watch feature seem to contain softcore adult content. Some of it includes Apps to find one night stands, Condoms, and some even have very light nudity. My brother whos a minor plays the game and doesn't view the ads cause it doesn't support it. But not all CODM players are adults and I hope that the algorithm is changed to be better. Of course, some would say that this is because I watch some NSFW content on my device and the ads are being similar but I don't. I have a separate low-end device for personal use. But seriously guys I hope you understand my concern may or may not have similar views but this needs to change. Though the game is intended for 16+ this doesn't mean the players are mature adults I'd say about a third of the player base possibly more maybe minors or unsuspecting adults who play with their children. and I think some of these ads are not intended for them. I'd like to listen to your views, opinions, and suggestions

Help! I didn't get back my full cp from Battlepass

Before I bought the bp I have 240cp then I bought the Battlepass it's price 220cp then I have remaining 20cp.... I tried one spin in the lucky draw it's 10cp then I have remaining 10cp now I completed the bp tier 50 but now I only have 180cp I should have 230cp I only got 170cp from Battlepass instead of 220cp

Is there some sort of attachment on the GKS that can set people on fire?

I was playing on Rust (hardpoint), for the entire round, very few molotovs were thrown, but I kept getting killed by some guy with a GKS, and on the kill cam I was on fire even though there were no molotovs, and this happened again even though I was somewhere molotovs can’t reach. Maybe there’s some sort of GKS attachment that can set people on fire or maybe it’s a bug.

Happy COD Mobile works again. iOS 14 beta 5 dropped and COD Mobile works. Had issue on Beta 4. Unrelated, but I’m using an iPhone SE 2020 and tried max frame rate and played several matches and my phone didn’t heat up(did get just a tad bit worm tho, but that’s it). Never used max framerate cause my phone would heat up, but now I can and I’m happy☺️

In BR when u trying to talk with ur friends on the mic. During game u sometimes loose connection with them and can't hear them. Then you proceed to switch to team mic and all of a sudden u can hear them even if they aren't on team mic. U basically have to switch between different mics to hear them

What happened to quick scoping?

Just opened the game after the update, and I noticed the ADS on the Artic .50 is like an eternity compared to what it was before.

Playing as a sniper, except in a few very abusive camping positions, just seems plainly impossible now.

Weapon XP go brrrrr
  1. Enter a BR match (solo prefered)
  2. Pick up any gun you like
  3. Go loot for more guns but keep your gun in hand (don't change to the melee weapon for extra movement speed)
  4. Kill some bots/players if you feel to
  5. Pick up more guns you that you like to level up (drop the guns you had and pick the new ones)
  6. Stay away from fights and real players who are in the game to win (You must survive to equip more and more weapons)
  7. When you are done, grenade yourself to death/play on if you feel to
  8. All the guns you equipped no matter whether you got kills with it or not will receive a substantial amount of XP (kills with the gun will somehow give additional XP)
  9. Read title

I have played around 7-10 BR matches since the update and my knife is on level 22 as most the time I switch to the knife when moving around the map.

Just saw this dude saying he doesn't want to ask the devs to let people see their camo progression when having a blueprint equiped(minor problem) because they've done too much work already. Now ik some little kids who don't understand how the world works are gonna downvote this but i don't understand why people asking for improvements or really anything is wrong in this sub as if they're being forced to work 12 hours a day, or that it isn't their jobs to listen to the community and give them what they want :/

Players becoming invisible?

I've lost too many matches because of this.
There's a bug/glitch/idk that when a player dies, their player model does not update and they are stuck in that spot. They can move, shoot and do normal things, but their player model is in that exact place.
