Is just me or that season 9 has so many campers using snipers because of gunsmith

lately when season 9 came out . I began to fight so many campers using snipers because of gunsmith. Literally they try to make their guns way to op and brag about . Seriously I see them on world chat calling themself a pro when Reality they are camping . It so annoying that campers are started to make gunsmith look bad , like really bad . It’s getting really bad I stated to lose so bad because of these campers using their OP sniper rifle . Like its impossible to not get shot by them . It’s really annoying

Question on the CoD Mobile Store Crates

I just started playing CoD Mobile on the Gameloop emulator (loving it so far) finally ranked out of most of the bots. Anyways, I wanted to get the character skin in the Trench Trapper Crate So I sunk like $30.00 into it, opening 10 at a time. I never got the skin, but kept getting everything else in duplicates. Pretty sure I have everything in this crate except the damned character skin.

Honestly ... how many time do I need to open the damned thing before I finally get this skin?

Seasonal AR upgrade event bug

I have maxed out KN44 (level 53) and LK24 (level 52), the seasonal event where you have to upgrade an AR to level 50 won’t update my progress. It stopped at level 30 so I can’t claim the final 2. Anyone else experience this?

UI and menus discussion

Loving the update but I can’t help but notice just how many screens there are after finishing a game. Firstly you have the winners circle, then the screen that shows the player XP and weapon XP gained, and if you’ve reached a new level the rewards then pop up. After this the battle pass screen pops up and again if you’ve reached a new tier the rewards pop up, and then it’s the match summary and then finally back to the lobby.

I wouldn’t mind all these screens if you could skip through them quickly, but it actually takes a second or so for the next button to come up.

I think some other UI features that need addressing is how slow it is using weapon XP cards manually. Even when you’re spamming the Use button it still goes up really slow, and every time you reach the next level the rewards pop up on screen. Personally I don’t think it’s necessary to have the rewards pop up on the screen every time something new is obtained.

Voice chat issue during 'in-game'

Anyone else got this issue during in-game, where your team mates voice just turns off right after some announced in BR and MP.
After every in game voice, I have to put the mic and speakers on 'Team' again, even though its still on 'teams .

About the game downloading extra content

I don't have all that much space on my device so when I saw that Cod Mobile was finally getting smaller itself in size I was intrigued. I downloaded the app (I had uninstalled it previously) and I did all the necessary downloads and all that but when it came to extra maps the game kept trying to install them even though I had cancelled them. This really disappointed me cause I didn't care all that much about camos and skins and just wanted the update but sadly the game kept trying to install them. Does anyone know how to stop the game from downloading things I don't want it to? Or is there just no way to stop it from doing so?

Please Devs, fix desync. The current condition of game is so bad...

Hit reg is getting worst now. It's hard to get just a kill... Even after trying different networks there is no difference. I also tried playing on other device, still same issue everywhere. Worst season ever, which increased desync. I was really hoping they will fix desync taking time & delaying update, they said in community updates too that they will fix it but everything went wrong... Devs please focus on the fix now, can't win a single ranked due to this issues. Championship Stage 2b is also ruined with these issues.

Neither changing device nor changing network will affect the issues. It's always remains same....

Frame rate drop

Anyone experiencing frame rate drops because of the new update? 6th gen ipad user here, the frame rate is horrible when loading in the game and while playing, frame rate settings are on max and graphics settings are on the lowest. Any advice would be appreciated

To those people who hate the update just because of gunsmith. Just try to learn about it. You dont need to watch youtubers or reddit posts to understand gunsmith.

There is a recommend button in it and they've already put that information inside patch notes. People always hate when changes happen and when they need to learn something. After new update codm isnt just about shoot and kill. You have space to experiment and improve your experience.
I hope they will add gunsmith inside training mode so we can test each attachment right away. And there are some bugs and if you report them with proper information they can try to fix it. Have fun friends

Desync has gotten worse since last season. I'm playing with 3ms and I'm having no reg issues. Br is also shit with the mic issue and the pre set attachments. Gunsmith is cool and pretty easy to grasp but I hate it on br. You could remove the pre set attachments and still have gunsmith on care packages. Also we purchased skins so we want to use them but we can't because of the different tiers of weapons. Trap Master is still op but not as op as before so I suggest making his wires more visible but not entirely visible.

Controller Issues

Sometimes when you knock down your opponents, the "knocked down" message never appears. Also, there are some issues when you play with controllers (ex. PS4 controller). When we want to pick up a weapon we have to press the "down" button and then "square". We should just press the "square" button, just like it was on every previous season. Furthermore, when we want to pick up only the ammo packages and not the displayed weapon, if there are 2 packages for example, after we pick the 1st one the arrow goes to the weapon instead of the 2nd one and we have to press the "down" button again otherwise we accidentally pick the weapon. It wasn't like this previously...plz fix these issues... If you'd like upvote this so they can see this problems.. Just make it like it was previously nth else.

Why did they remove 80% of recoil for all guns?

Probably one of few things in the game that are skill based got removed, or just got so nerfed, it’s next to non-existent, recoil. Recoil is what made the game feel real and made people actually get good with weapons. But now it’s just “Ha ha, no recoil go brrr”. It’s irritating to me, a LvL 150 at Legendary rank. I pride myself at being decent at this game before Season 9 rolled out. Now it’s like everyone has aimbot and can use a SMG effectively at a range where a AR would be good at, and now you can use AR’s can be used as snipers effectively. I’m straight up pissed about how they butchered this game. It was good until now, I beg that the devs decide that they messed up and bring back the old recoil system.
Also, sniping is wack now. ADS is trash now, hit reg for it is also kinda trash now. When a shot hit in Season 8 and before, now in Season 9, those shots don’t hit at all. Even when you clearly hit the target.
I made a pledge to not play this game until they fix the recoil and bring back old mechanics. Because this game now feels like a realistic version of Pixel Gun 3D. Change my mind about that.

Battle royale crashed twice today

Last season i couldn't play br because in literally every match my game was crashing! Kreuger and Nikto’s voices now sound like they are from Modern Warfare!

You may not have noticed this, but this update changed Kreuger and Nikto’s voices to sound more like Modern Warfare! I don’t know if CODM devs actually hired the voice actors from MW or someone with good impressions, but they sound so much like MW now. Note that they DID NOT rip the voicelines from MW and just put it in Mobile, the voicelines for K and N are voiced by either the actually voice actors from MW themselves or a guy(s) with excellent voice impressions. This update is amazing so far, thanks guys. I can finally play Modern Warfare on my phone now when I’m away from home

Differences between Cod Warzone and CoD Mobile Warzone?

I've never actually played the regular CoD game. I've mostly played PUBG and Ring of Elysium for shooter games. I just recently discovered Gameloop emulator and dove into PUBG Mobile (and loving it) but recently tried CoD Mobile and now I am addicted lol

Is the actual CoD PC game overall better than mobile? The PUBG Mobile version imho is far better than the normal PUBG version, but with me never playing the normal CoD I have no basis for comparison. From what have seen - the mobile version of CoD seems to have more multi player options.

Can someone explain the differences between the two?

How does both games population of players compare to each other?

Feedback: Desync is far worse now, because of matchmaking.

As always every update fucks this game up more and more. Apparently devs don't know basic geography due to the fact that people from as far south as Buenos Aires are being placed on a server up here in the United States. On what planet is South America considered the eastern part of the united states? 10ms ping now to the server nearest me with this failure of an update and it's still the same old shit. Getting killed running behind a corner, getting rubberbanded back out of cover and out into the open on higher latency player's kill cams, people teleporting, and it's still taking about 20 shots to kill someone standing completely still. Dev team, you are an embarrassment. There's no point adding in gunsmith and new gimmicks if none of the weapons are working as intended due to your faulty netcode. Only game this shit is repeatedly happening is with codm.

Are there any garena players out there that are facing lots of desync issues? For me the desync is much worse that last season. Last season i only got desync issues 2 out of the many games i played. But this season even though its brand new i still run into so many desync issues. My bullets arent registering and i seem to have a negative kd more frequently. I really hope they find a way to fix this soon, or i might just sit this season out

The mp servers are laggy and Molotov cocktails are everywhere
Shotgunning got nerfed and u no more can one shot one kill enemies using hip fire easily cuz u will get a hitmarker most of the time even while using laser sight

I just unlocked gold on my ICR and now i can't even use it because I cant equip my gun or change stuff with gunsmith, it always says "front attachment cannot be replaced by back attachment" or something like that. Arctic 50 in Battle Royale

Has the Sniper been nerfed in BR? I have not tried in MP yet but seems on both Legendary and Exotic Versions I picked up that the recoil is now huge compared to before. Damage still seems the same. Not complaining too much as before it could be spammed so easily but now seems terrible compared to the Kilo.

To the CODM devs.

First of all i want to thank you for releasing the most anticipated and biggest update in codm history. I would like to bring your attention to the gunsmith update. Even before its release everyone was hyped for it, knowing that there would be 40+ attachments for almost every gun. But then we came to know that we had an equal amount of levels to complete in order to fully explore the possibilities, which made it a little harder.

I think i dont talk for myself when i say this but the F2P players will definitely have some trouble when it comes to this. The amount of time and exp cards you need for completely upgrading a weapon are insane. This kind of came as a shock when i heard it.

F2P players....show your support if you understand this problem, lets show the devs how many people need this.

Devs.... it would be really good if you could reduce the number of levels and give us more attatchments per level. Or it would be fine if we could come to a win-win situation.

BR: Petition to bring back "You knocked down ___" notification at the top of the screen.

It's just quality of life knowing that you've already knocked down the enemy (by seeing the CLEAR NOTIFICATION on top), instead of asking yourself in the middle of the fight like "was that enemy knocked down already?" because the notification for it at the left side is really unnoticeable. Unnoticeable KNOCK DOWN feed = more "down time". IDK, BR is great, but not all changes are good.

There's no strategy in Domination and Hardpoint just spam Molotovs everywhere. Think the devs really dropped the ball when they decided to buff the Molotov and place it as lethal. Reminds me of the days when you would see the Shock RC everywhere

Swapping round buttons

Anybody know if it's possible to swap the 'crouch' button and 'jump' button?

It's a little annoying that A or X is jump on console and B or O is crouch on console, however on CoD mobile the crouch button is fixed to where 'A/X' usually is (South) and jump is fixed to 'B/O'(East).

Kind of bring me out of sync when playing and I go from a natural flow when playing to like am awkward mess. Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah the molotov is annoying

By the new update, molotov is no more a score streak. So every player is equipped with it and throws it to the objective every time they respawns. The objective is always on fire, making it really hard to capture.

Every match sounds like “be careful, enemy molotov. Be careful, enemy molotov...”

The damage level is also high, making it more useful than grenade.

I really don't care about the Karma, but Molotov sucks ass

The Gunsmith update is soo good. I actually want to go in to matches and grind for better attachments, however as soon as I enter any ranked lobby, people are just spamming molotovs with random abandonment. No one is actually trying to improve their guns or technique and just in it for the cheap kills.

I played against 5 stack last night on Nuketown domination, everyone on the opposition had shrapnel + Molotov. I mean, my ears are still ringing. It's no fun.
Before someone comes in with "just use Trophy", imagine dealing with 10 fucking molotovs in 10 seconds.

Such a bad move my the developers. Sucks the life out of this game.

I'm still not using my weapon xp cards for weapons because it's more fun actually grinding the attachments I just gifted as much cp cards as I can to friends and messaged them not to send back and used the rest on knives and instead of grinding 11 levels I can grind over 50 levels

I have compiled some tips and tricks for getting gold, plat and damascus to try to make your grind easier!

We are breaking down:

  • Kills
  • Double Kills (Launchers)
  • Hip Fire Kills
  • Longshots
  • Headshots
  • No Attachments
  • Using all attachments
    and - Destroy scorestreak (Launchers)
    If I miss anything let me know and ill post an updated post.
    For kills, its easy. You are either going to run and gun or camp. If you are going to run and gun for kills, you have to focus on mobility, accuracy and ads speed.
    If you are going to run and gun also pick the best maps for the situation. The best map for this technique is shipment 1944 but you can also do rust and cage. Maybe Killhouse but compared to the three I think theyre more superior for camo challenges. Camping however, can look pretty easier, just position yourself in a spot you think is safe, and just wait for kills. I highly do not reccomend camping though, as youll probably get bored.

Double kills for launchers can be a pain in the a** but as Hawksnest says, gun goes ku ku ku ku and use demo expert for this specific challenge. Yes. One of the most despised blue perks is actually good now. Demo Expert is highly recommended for this challenge as it helps alot and its not Season 2.

Hip fire kills should be very easy. Thumb players can just put on hip fire on advanced mode while claws can just have another fire button. Highly I recommend the combination of Merc Foregrip and 5MW Laser. Flash Guard I guess also works but actually its going to be a waste since the monolithic suppressor and compensator are always the best option for the muzzle category.

Longshots can be another pain in the a** if you play shipment 24/7. I recommend for ARs and SMGs to use the VLK 3.0 Optic, a.k.a 3X Tactical Scope 1. Then I reccomend Crossfire or Killhouse, since you can get on the spots on the top and just laser them out.

Ahh, the hardest imo, Headshots. I HIGHLY recommend the Shock RC, and follow where its going. And when the bot or player is shocked, aim for the head. Its really just luck when you get headshots, but skill if you know what your doing. Also Shipment.

Possible unpopular opinion

I really dislike BR in S9.

I've played perhaps a dozen games since the update.

I don't mind gunsmithing, and getting those in airdrops.

I cannot stand the fact that I can't customise my weapon the way I like IN game.

I dislike that I can't swap a sight, a foregrip or whatever from 1 weapon to another.

I HATE that I can't even take an accessory OFF? what if I just want to use iron sight but keep the rest?

I hate gunsmith

Why did they have to mess this us. God damn the attachment system worked perfectly and I never had a complaint. It was easy to use and easy to compare attachments. It was easy to understand everything. But now it’s just a shit show. I’m asking Apple for a refund on everything I’ve purchased for cod mobile. I’ve never been so angry about a video game update in my life but this really blew my mind. They could at the very least have kept your current attachments unlocked as they were untouched. They completely removed the silencer for handguns. Let me repeat that there are no longer suppressors for handguns in the game. It just fucking blows my mind. I refuse to play this until it is changed

Does event challenges ever return?

I realized very late in the event that I could win the operator skill Katana. So I grinded and grinded until the last minute, and just needed the "play multiplayer matches with friends" but didnt make it. So I was just wondering if weapons and other prizes ever return? like skins do in Fortnite.

Also is it just me or is it very hard to make people you invite to a party stay for more than 1-2 matches? Probably because many play CODMobile on the go, but still

S9 broke the game..

In customisation The positive and negative given was supposed to be in one side. For example, if you make a more damage class your movement speed is worse than a snail. If you speed up, your gun shoots marshmallows. The only type of gun I find balanced is the sniper and the scope doesn't align to the enemy, I always need to kill by seeing crosshair and he's dead even before the scope opens up. It's irritating. The customisation is very cool. Once I used ak117 without any attachments. It was far more better.

Less volume/muffled noise

The level of sound in the game has decreased or is it only on my phone.. but can anyone help me fix it? It's hard not being able to hear the footsteps or any kind of gunfire.
Every bit of sound feels like it's coming from far away.

I am using the moto one fusion+ if that helps.

Can you add the option to place truck nutz on our vehicles in battle royale? Would be a great idea to place them on tanks as well. No better satisfaction than running over someone with a tank and making sure a pair of nuts slaps them extra dead as you continue asserting your dominance on the battlefield.

Epic/Leg weapon skins not showing BR camo select

I posted this as a BUG REPORT because it better be a bug. selecting weapon skins for BR only uncommon and rare are showing. Picking up epic weapons doesn't even show MY epic skins. I didn't buy an epic rocket launcher skin to never see it again. I don't use them in MP. I want what I paid for. Didn't spend money to look at my ugly common skins that's why I got better ones. Fix this shit

I love Season 9! I think it’s the greatest Season to date! However, I would like to address what I love, and what I don’t

What I love:
-I love the World War II aesthetic!! World at War is one of my favorite CoD Campaigns ever, so to see it come into Mobile is FANTASTIC!!
-I love Reznov being added. He’s my favorite CoD character ever!
-I love the Gunsmith. It’s provided me with endless possibilities, and a heavy grind for Camos and attachments (since I refuse to use Weapon XP cards on one weapon)!
-I love the new BR changes and additions. Not only does it make it feel more like Warzone, but it gives its own feel off.
-I love Shipment (even if it’s claustrophobic).
-I like the Credit Store update.
-I like the fact that Molotovs are Lethals, but there is a problem with them.
What I dislike:
-I dislike the fact that you can use Shrapnel with Molotovs. If you were to limit the Molotov to one, I think they would be pretty balanced.
-I dislike the fact that the regular Battle Pass was locked behind a “MORE INFO” button that I didn’t see at first. It made me think y’all upped the price, and my heart sank.
-I’m not a fan of this Ranked Season’s rewards. The character in BR looks cool, but I already have a better version of the Chopper, and I have an Epic QQ9 already.

Scopes not working properly

Please read I genuinely need help for my account

So I had started playing CODM in oct( S1).I bought the BP for every season as I had gotten a job which was very stable. Fast forward to Season 6/7. Everyone had gotten a message on their screen that said, Account Registration Complete but didnt log u in. I had just bought the S7 BP. I spoke to helpers on Mod Mail on the cod mobile discord. They said not to worry and it would be fixed soon. I was then able to open my account for a few days towards the end of S7. I was told buy a few tiers and tweet at activision, u can even buy the S8 BP if u wanna. They will understand. I bought 3 tiers and the S8 bp. I was then locked out of my account AGAIN. This time when i contacted Mods on discord via Mod Mail they just said. Tweet at activision and go to their CODM area on their website. U can contact a dev over there. I did this. I got NO RESPONSE at all. Its now 2 months. I had lost my job due to covid-19 at the start of S4. I wasnt worried and I still am not as I had earnt well over there. However I still have not recieved any item and my account is STILL LOCKED. I contact them on discord every day. No response from the mods. While I said I was not worried on being sacked due to COVID-19 I still value my money very highly. THEY HAVE STILL NOT GIVEN ME MY ACC BACK. I paid for 2 Battle Passes. (The S8 one was more expensive) and 3 tiers (150 cp) I understand that i cant get my acc back probably. However is their no way the devs cant give me all my stuff i had on my previous acc back onto my Alt acc? PLEASE UPVOTE. I NEED THE DEVS TO SEE THIS.

Am I playing with bots?

Seriously I've been thinking about this cause in my last few matches I've been killed from the back,
where my teammates and I just spawned.

There's no way they couldn't have seen that guy!

Also I've once observed my teammates doing absolutely nothing to the objective, like they just walk past it like it was nothing, and we were freaking losing ffs!

Conclusion: No human is that ridiculously unaware
that it's gotta be a bot.

No High Frame Rate for my realme 6

Im playing the game for a month now, and after i updated the game for season 9, I experienced low frames and just now, I saw the very high frame rate gone. Before, I can play high graphics with very high FPS and now with just medium graphics and high fps, it feels the same. Did the recommended requirements of the game increased? Question to the Devs: is wired controller support ever coming?

I really like the game but I just personally can't enjoy it with touch controls. I have used my girlfriend's PS4 controller and it works flawlessly, but when I try to use my first get xbone controller via usb it's the only game that doesn't recognise it. I was doing a bit of digging and I seen that when controller support first came out it was said that more controllers will be supported further down the line, however that was in November last year and there's been no updates regarding that. I have a clip for my Xbox controller so it would be nice if I could use it with codm without having to buy a newer Bluetooth Xbox controller.

Press to Mark - Xbox Controller. Changed since season 9? So annoying.

Has the Press to Mark option changed since the Season 9 update?

I’m constantly pressing down on the right joystick of my Xbox Controller and enabling the Press to Mark function. That freezes the character movement, so I die or lose kills.

It’s so annoying? Any way to remap/disable Press to Mark?

I’m trying to not press the joystick, but I’m just heavy handed with the controller so do it a lot.

I can’t remember this happening before the update.

They are saying to nerf the molotovs or turn them into scorestreak again but before the update everybody was so excited about molotovs being lethal...
People are complaining about molotovs spam in domination and hardpoint. But no one complains about the spam of molotovs post here?
