Did I suck this bad??

Apparently I just got really shitty or the other BR players somehow got better over night. I’ve been playing overnight and I only had one game where I did alright, I got 18th but ZERO kills. All the rest of my games I died like 96th, 97 or higher. Before the update I did way better than this on average.

Single player COD Mobile Championship

Should COD Mobile Championships allow solo players / have a solo player tournament?

Not sure if this is has been discussed (read dead horse) but one thought that’s been on my mind a lot is that I wish there was a way for me to enter championships without a team. I tend to qualify solo each tournament but I miss out on teams because I usually need one more person (sometimes two) and I’m mostly playing just for fun while traveling. Most of my friends are playing on consoles vs mobile so it’s hard to link up with them. Maybe I’m approaching it wrong.

I’d basically suggest either having a tournament for just solo players that got teamed up randomly (aka like general ranked matches but where you can’t invite friends) or having a way for individuals without teams or teams without enough members to signup and assign additional players to teams that need members etc. I feel like people that wouldn’t be able to play championships normally would get a lot out of it.

Anywho curious what others playing the game think.

Fix headshot hit detection

This has been an issue as long as i can remember. But now with these camo challenges requiring you two get headshots ive been noticing more and more. But each time you shoot someone in the head, 9/10 times it wont count as a headshot and the game registers it as a bodyshot. Please fix this.

Molotov annoying explosion sound... Devs please fix this hot mess

I just hopped onto to play some ranked matches and turns out as headache... Molotov explosion sounds are too loud.. louder than pred missile... thing is if you're at C and if a player throws a Molotov at A ,you can still here it.. everyone spamming Molotov and I'm not mad about that.. these sounds makes game annoying af, you can barely hear gun fights all we hear is those Molotov sound and announcer saying, BE CAREFUL ENEMY MOLOTOV, FRIENDLY MOLOTOV OUT.. repeatedly non stop LOL... that's fine but explosion sounds are fckin headache.. Literally can hear all around the map

Petition to keep ranked quitters' usernames in matchplay history

At the end of a long day of work, one of my favorite activities is to plop down on the couch, log on to Call of Duty Mobile, and start some ranked matches. As visions of the demise of my enemies - the bloody slaughter of my foes - flash through my mind, I enter into one of the beautifully developed maps full of hope and visions of glory. The match starts, and two teammates send encouraging 'We can win this!' messages while another begins pointlessly dancing to the side. Still another tries offering advice - 'Don't rush in!' - which is all but ignored by the rest.

A couple minutes in to the match, it quickly becomes apparent that the other team might, just might be a little better than us. Our number one player is 4-7, while the bottom two only have 1 kill...and 7 deaths. Hope of victory is slowly seeping away, but the game isn't over yet. They have the better side, perhaps we could capture early the next half, or turn it around with the next hardpoint. It's not over until it's over, I convince myself. Near the end the first half, I go on a small streak to nearly break even, hoping to capitalize on the momentum once the next half starts.

But then iFrogTY quits.

Okay, well 4v5 isn't impossible...

And NởAhfrȍM¥T follows suit.

OKAY WELL NO SHIT WE'RE GONNA LOSE NOW U FUCKEN DICKWADS WHAT HAPPENED TO NEVER LEAVE A TEAMMATE BEHIND HMMMMMM? HMMMMMMMMMMM??

Anyways I think these guys should still show up in everyones' match history, as well as their stats prior to quitting, if only to guilt trip the quitting quitters. Also, there was one match where someone on the other team was accused of cheating (I have no clue if he was), but then he promptly quit so we couldn't report him. Which was suspect. We should be able to report quitters for cheating/verbal abuse, even if it only serves as an empty, passive-aggressive source of satisfaction.

Furthermore, I can't imagine it would be that difficult for the devs to build in a safety net that differentiates premeditated quitting from network problems/app crashes...

I live in Connecticut and we had a state wide power outage and my Wifi has never been the same since. Even before the update when the outage happened it was pretty laggy. It sucks to see that I Can’t play my favorite mobile game again.

3x Tactical Scope Bug

Hello community, I have a strange bug, if I equip a 3x Tactical Scope on AR, Sniper or SMG - I can't move my camera while aiming down sight. Does anybody have the same bug - or know how to fix it? I would like to enjoy everything from this new update. Thanks a lot.

p.s.: I had a locked camera angle while using Katana (Shadow Blade), but reinstalling game helped it.

FYI About QQ9 10mm Ammo.

It doesn't increase damage like it says, only the damage range.

The max damage of the QQ9 is still 25.

Feel like they should change the description unless it does more damage to killstreaks or something.

Its still a good attachment. 10M will do max damage, 20M deals 20 damage instead of 17, etc.

BR is trash

Put BR back the way it was.. I didn’t pay good money for legendary skins to play with free ones in picking up weapons with pre-existing loadouts and non-removable attachments is BS. I don’t like scopes so why am I forced to use mine.. finding your gun of choice and building it up throughout the game is what made it fun and challenging now it’s bullshit and all you do is run around and occasionally fight bots.

Now that gunsmith is here..how do you feel about it ?

I’ve seen a lot of people say that they are doing too much with the game..and that they changed too much too quickly and I can agree with these things I’ve also seen a lot of people say they love the new update..ME personally I really like the customization and the different skin options I love the optimized BR and MP but I kinda have mixed feelings about the whole gunsmith thing...I might get hate but in my opinion it’s a little too much when your playing the game you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and you can either build a gun that’s going to make it better or worse I can agree that the game needed to change for the better but maybe not too much at once but idk I really wanna see y’all opinion so vote please !

BR update

I was excited about the update and new guns, but WTH happened to weapons. There are alot of recoil on each gun and you can't remove some stupid sights which makes you lose 1v1 fights, plus the arctic50 is super trash rightnow the time it takes to scope is too much. I tried to snipe some dudes, but after i hit the first and waiting to shot second bullet the enemy ran and i couldn't shoot him again. I don't know if i should do some gunsmith or any stuff to make the br better as i don't enjoy it like before. I appreciate any help or explanation.

Just let me make my own br gun while in game

I’m tired of guessing what gun attachments each gun has. Unless I’m missing something, like how to make each gun default when I pick it up. But it sucks when I can’t have a silencer on every gun like I used to. I changed all my loot settings for silencers no long barrels. This is frustrating

So my favorite gun got super-nerfed...

I like to use the RPD LMG and play long range. After the update and new attachments, it's totally unusable due to recoil. It sprays upward and takes 3-4 sprays to drop anyone. This happens even using a grip and barrel attachment that are supposed to reduce recoil. It's a completely different gun now. Ugh...

Nice little animated recap map for BR victor now

I scrolled back several pages to see if this had been posted, and it was only about the last hour of posts, so sorry if this is a repeat.

I played several rounds of BR today and placed high, but only just now I got first place. I got first twice yesterday before updating, and this feature was not present.

You get a sort of recap of where you went and what you did as a line moving around the map at the end of the game. It shows where you got kills, chip upgrades, and air drops. Kind of nice.

It would still be good to have a death replay so you can see how you were beaten, but this was a nice little touch.

I can’t do it guys.

It’s been a fun ride.

I’ve been here 6(?) seasons but I’m deleting and going back to cod on Xbox. I’m going to miss this community. (Not going to miss my zone chat -bunch of pervs-) I’m going to miss my daily ritual of playing with my husband at 8pm everyday. It’ll save my poor arthritic fingers though.

I’ve never cried over a game before and I can’t believe I’m this upset about it.
I played about two hours of the new update and it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. I have a slight aversion to change and this is too much for me.

I may continue to lurk here I may not.

Tip for those who want to level and grind camo at the same time

Idk how useful this “tip” is but imma just say it.

All the grindable camo categories will unlock at a certain weapon level (example for AR it’s at lv37, SMG lv42 etc). And you know grinding the last few levels is almost as tedious as the previous 30+ levels. So i would suggest you just level your weapon until you unlock the grindable camos. Then you can just grind for the camos and your weapon will level up in the process. 2 birds 1 stone. I’m sure you won’t be using every single weapon in the game so don’t waste your time trying to max out every single thing. Just level them enough for u to be able to grind for Damascus.

Dumb Xbox One controller question

Hello all, I us my Xbox one controller to play the game and I find that I cannot figure out what button to press to exit a helicopter. I press and hold X to get on but then I can't figure out what to press to get out of the chopper when it lands and hits the floor. I press X and it reloads my gun, I hold X and nothing happens. I have gotten killed and cost my team some matched for being unable to get off of the chopper once its on land. I am a noob at the game so yeah sorry for the noob questions, thanks.

I hate the new meta

I'm guessing this will be the new meta for season 9; krm, cordite, molotov and shadowblade. I've been playing for hours after the update and this is all I see, smgs are trash now because of the damage reduction below upper torso. Ars kills faster in short range than other smgs and krm can easily outclass any smg. I'm a smg user and now I feel like the game is forcing me to use krm or assault rifles. Molotov kills you instantly, I don't even have the chance to escape, I'll burn instantly. Everyone's spamming the molotov now. Krm can one shot you within 10 meters range with the right attachment. Smgs are useless this meta. Do you wanna win? Simple, use krm, cordite or any ars with boosted ads speed and movement.

I don't want modern cod zombies. Most modern I would go is maybbeeee advanced warfare.

So I distinctly remember COD mobile advertising that once you complete the battle pass entirely for The Forge season you recieve enough CPs to buy the next seasons battle pass essentially getting it for free. I’m wondering if anybody recieved it because neither my girlfriend, her brother, nor I recieved the CPs.

Lag Issues

So after I installed all of the new content, I was playing for about 2 hours and then everything got really laggy. I checked my WiFi and internet and there where no problems there, but I kept on getting "Reconnecting to the server" messages and the whole lot. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing a lot of lag because I asked around my clan Discord and they were saying the same thing. I don't believe this to be a region-specific problem because our clan has people from Dubai, the Eastern Coast of the U.S, the West Coast, etc.

Gunsmith glitch with tactical scope

When I use a weapon with 3x or 4x tactical scope and am aiming down sight I can walk about and move my weapon. But when I fire, the gun remains stuck in the initial position when I had started firing, with only the automatic recoil. I can't fire and move my weapon at the same time.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Can anyone help please?

Apparently, the karambit color burst cashback event from Season 1 returned, but why? Why can't anything be rare, are they just gonna start bringing back everything from old seasons now? Gunsmith is a good idea, but execution is poor

I’m glad we have the new update and there are tons of combinations to make our own guns, but after playing for few hours I‘d say I don’t like what they did to the weapon system.

First of all, if you want to upgrade your guns you are gonna grind like hell. I’ve stored thousands of upgrade cards but I spent them all today, and this is only enough to fully upgrade less than 10 guns. I have no idea how long does it take to upgrade a gun when I run out of upgrade cards, but it’s gonna be painfully long.

Secondly, new gunsmith system makes every gun feel slow and accurate, like LMGs. Now even you are playing SMGs you would have a very slow ads time and ads moving speed, and every gun can laser now. This just encourages people camping more and turns guns boring. Since every gun is accurate now it requires less skills to kill, this makes player who spent a lot of time mastering gun skills less dominant, and overall gameplay became not as satisfying as it used to be. Getting nukes becomes harder, cause now you are not able to strafe fast enough with new attachments to dodge bullets and enemies are gaining their extra accuracy, many players just sit back and laser you. There are tons of attachments to make a gun more precise, but not many to make a gun fast, and now since everyone is lasering people behind a head glitch and swapping to fast attachments gives your guns more recoil, it’s not very rewarding to move fast by losing some accuracy.

Thirdly, many attachments just look bad and don’t match the aesthetics of guns. Codm guns are mainly from black ops series, and when developers were designing guns they didn’t consider the concept of gunsmith(unlike modern warfare 2019). Unlike realistic gun designs and nice looking attachments in modern warfare 2019, many attachments in codm gunsmith just make guns look awful.

I dropped over 100 kills yesterday in a hardpoint match with my default skin and default lk24, this is my new kill record since season 1 and I had so much fun. My gun looked great and adding a stock just...

There are great video sets like HawksNest, but the videos aren't very systematically designed and often address random stuff out of order.

Is there a book/video set that goes through COD strategy in sequence (could even be for non-mobile COD)?

Prima books used to put out good ones for various games, and I saw they have one for COD, but maybe there are favorite sources. TY

Br weapons used to have different stats than mp ones, however the new update says they are the same. Is this true, can I just port over my mp loadouts for good br loadouts? If it’s not true, does anyone know of any good br loadouts?

Codm Update

I use an iPhone 6s to play CODM and it's been working fine barley any issues with it besides it draining my battery lmao but since the new update it took an hour to update, then i had to download the other resources after that was done it said i had to restart the app to see the rank info as today is also the day that rank restarts? or whatever so i did and when i opened up the app it logged me out for some reason, i tried logging in but kept getting "login timeout please try again later authorization error (6;-1)" and now it's saying "download configuration failed. Make sure your device is connected to a network and then restart the game" Like is this popping up because my wifi is too slow or??

The UAV helps the enemy more now.

So they wanted to nerf the UAV, thats okay but the way it works now is very distractive as it keep showing the old location of an enemy.

How it should work? Scan the current freakin location of enemies every 2-3 sec, after each scan hide their location till the next scan.

To sum up

Cod mobile is the best mobile game right now. Gunsmith (infinite ways to play with all the weapons), grindable camos, br warzone like with modified weapons, great bp. The features enrich the game till the point that we are playing a game at the same level of a console game. Also i feel like the gameplay is slower and more "realistic". Good work devs, i hope you'll introduce good content in the future.

What's with the hate?

So season9 is here and we all know that it's the best update so far, but apparently some players think that it's the worst and that's because of dumb reasons, I've seen it on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc..., and it seems the reason why they hate is because gunsmith is complicated and confusing for them which is a dumb statement, I don't understand, the devs and Youtubers talked about this before the season was released, they explained how it works and they made videos about it, so what's the problem, plus it's really simple, it's literally the same system as before except it has a lot of different options and you have to be more careful about the attachments you put since they have pros and cons, I know that it's tedious and time consuming to lvl up your guns and get camos, but that's what makes the game fun and fresh, and don't get me wrong, if there's bugs or glitches or the gunsmith itself doesn't work properly, the devs deserve constructive criticism and they should fix them, but just because you're to dumb to understand the system doesn't mean you should hate the hardwork they put in this game

Make BR great again

When the gunsmith update came out i was so pumped for BR because they have new stuff and mods. What I didn’t expect was the fact that you you can’t even customize your weapon(attachments). So basically if you pick up an M16 you’ll get a 3X scope, some attachments and you cant change it. you will not get to to choose whether you want a red dot, quickdraw, foregrip or anything the attachments are permanent. Now I think that’s very very annoying because you’re just forced have attachments you never asked for. You picked up a purple artic 50?? good luck even landing your shots lmfao the recoil is so damn high I can’t even snipe consistently with it. Please change it back

Voice Chat Bug

Thank you COD for a great update. I love all the new stuff int the game. I just want to report the voice chat in both BR and Multiplayer. The Voice Chat is great while in lobby but when me and my friends are in game the voice chat just suddenly disappears after a period of time has passed. Hope you could fix this tiny issue. S9 Update — My Review

First off I’d like to thank the Devs for taking the time and not deciding to rush out a half completed update.
Second off, holy shit is this update amazing. Call of Duty Mobile (in my opinion at least) feels a lot more like a Call of Duty compared to the other seasons. I like the new load out limits (10) and Gun Smith is hella cool. Weapon charms being added was also pretty sick. I also noticed that the Tencent logo was taken off of the loading screen... and with that, you can now say things like Sniper. Great job Devs!

Devs had put voices to all characters in the whole game , no more muted chracters , check Kruger Reaper sound , and fix Reaper grinder slide sound , gives all draw characters voices , and check the new rezov voice and more , they even fix the voice chatting system issue , i didnt expect that they fix the desync too , this is unbelievable work .. lets upvote it to devs ♥️

Can’t Shoot when Looking Around

I’ve been playing COD Mobile for a while now, and after the most recent update I find that I can’t shoot and move at the same time. I have to remove my right finger to activate the left fire button. At first I really wanna to thank the devs for this amazing update! Back in my younghood when I got my first Call of Duty game I could never imagine I would play an amazing cod game in my phone.

I dont wanna ro be unfair, I know yoj worked a lot to bring us this update and all of you deserve to take a rest now. I just wanna to ask you to allow us to use our blueprints in BR even if it still will have the same number of atachments as the rare and uncomon cammos. It's just because some players like me who play since S1 already have a lot of cool epic and legendary skins that we paid for and they dont fit in 5 airdrop loadouts. There are also some guns like MW11, J38, SMRS and FHJ that are not even possible to use in the drop.

[bug issue] desync still present

I think the issue has improved, but I noticed it still happens quite frequently in around 1 out of 3 matches.

anyone with a similar experience? what I’d face would be the typical sliding past walls (that can’t be wallbanged) and yet the killcam shows me still barely in reach, or shooting at enemies but the first few shots don’t register (mostly when it’s super sudden/fast attacks while playing aggressive)

Make Battle Royale Great Again.

I can't be the only one disappointed with br update? I legit prefer the old system were you could customize your own weapons rather than picking a pre customized weapon from the ground and roaming around doing nothing. Moreover the rarity of of epic legendary skins are a joke. I swear I see more legendary skins than commons and kinda weird seeing the epic qq9 and several others as a legendary weapon. Literally everyone in the game is rushing for airdrops which makes the game even more boring. Imo gunsmith should've never come to battle royal or the airdrop loudouts and only the new guns should've been added. It honestly feels so boring to play br. I used to enjoy taking down tanks but after the update neither the tank get dropped or nobody takes it. The only thing about the update is the map expansion. Did you guys actually enjoy the update? (Devs if you're seeing this, please take this as a feedback and wtf is that artic 50 recoil?)

Can't pick Epic/Legendary camo for BR weapons?

In the WEAPON CAMOS selection of Battle Royale, you cannot pick the Blueprint camos (Epic/Legendary) so you are left with Rare, Uncommon or the Grindable camos. I'm pretty sure this is unintentional as last update we can use the Epic/Legendary camos with no problem (they even added the kill effects to BR) and they must have unintentionally omitted the Blueprint camos because it already has set attachments but that shouldn't hold it back from being selected as a normal ol' camo right?

Blue rarity camos need to be adjusted in MP

Overall the new update has been pretty sick, but I only got one complaint. The gunsmith allows you to make whatever gun you want, but a lot of attachments also ruin the camos since they no longer run the whole length of the gun. An example would be the arctic with the lemon drop candy, a skin that looks sick, but when you put a stock on it, the stock doesn’t match the skin making it look weird. Out of all the issues that this game could have I’m not too mad about it but I just want to bring the issue to light. All in all though well done devs, but I wanna know what the reddit community thinks.

Petition to create some skins to be truly rare

We keep having rare items being rereleased. I don’t have a problem with rereleasing things, but I also would like to have rare items we are told up front are one chance to get items that won’t come back.

Instead of asking the devs not to rerelease any of the old skins, I’m asking that they create some one time skins for those that like to get rare skins. They would be advertised as never coming again so everyone would know. Seems like the best way to work with this.

Unpopular opinion on gunsmith

Gunsmith in Multiplayer is cool but in Battle Royale it sucks,

Can't remove attachments, optic sights, and can't equip purple camo on launchers.
Sniper rifle feels so slow and ar and smg is uncontrollable now.

You can only use customised weapon through Air Drops.

Overall the Feeling of Battle Royale is gone.

What's your thoughts on BR Gunsmith ?

UAV seems buggy/higher ping/enemies righr infant of me not appearing in my view

I love the update but I've noticed some bugs.
(1) So the uav doesn't seem to be accurate anymore. I see enemies on the map who are not actually there. Its almost like the info its giving is delayed.
(2) My ping was averaging 60ms last season but now I'm averaging 85ms and I've noticed occasional hit registry issues and desync.
(3) Maybe this one is desync again but I keep getting killed by enemies I don't see, but then the kill cam shows them right in front of me. Its more prevalent when I'm nearing a wall or going around a corner.

Hope these issues get sorted out quickly because this is a great season otherwise.

Petition to Devs to reduce the ranked season to just 1 month starting from next season

Last season I got to Legendary within first 2 days and I enjoyed playing with quality players in my team and also the strong opponents.

It turned into a shit show towards the end of last season. Every Talentless Tom dick and Harry came to Legendary who just camp with RPD Tac scope all match long irrespective of objective and just pure lack of skill and game intelligence, they just stand and shoot with 0 movement skills.

Ranked became a chore to play because of these guys who come to Legendary due to rank bonus events and Solo shield. But the most important of all is the unnecessary 2 months of Ranked season.

If we can reduce it to just 1 month. Legendary tier will retain it’s high quality and skill and casual players can play pubs and end up in Master tier in a month.

Shipment 24/7 is straight BONKERS

And I love it.

No other map, not even rust, or killhouse, has matched the absolute nuttiness that Shipment has created (except maybe saloon but that was 1v1).

It's such a tight map and it's simple design makes it almost cartoonishly hectic and I've had more matches win or lose on a razor's edge than I can think of in any other map. I'm talking 150-149 hardpoints, 39-40 team deathmatches and kill confirmed CONSISTENTLY. Its BONKERS.

But it brings a fresh intensity and pressure I think was missing. Plus the gunsmith update is siiiiiiick.

We should be able to configure our gun attachments inside Training Mode

It would make deciding which attachments to use so much easier.

I recently started playing this game and having come from PUBGM, I was kind of shocked that you couldn't, especially since you can mess with gun attachments in the training mode in PUBGM.

Trying to decide if that slightly quicker ADS is worth the loss in spread accuracy? Well I have to start a whole ass game and can't easily switch back and forth to really be able to tell a difference.

It'd just be nice to be able to mess with all of that stuff in Training Mode :)

To those with the axe - lava, ice axe - shattered, and baseball bat - mad clown, are these blueprints for the knife or are these their own separate weapons? I was hoping that we would get base versions for these with the update.

Anyone got any info handy on the magnifications and ratio between all the new scopes from 70 fov, and how to set up sensitivity in the right ratio ala hawksnest method?

Really having trouble trying to set it up by feel/eyeball in training grounds, don't want to practice incorrect muscle memory only to change it later especially cause I'm using the new 3x and 4x scopes on my snipers.

I'm assuming hawksnest isn't gonna have it all figured out and his website calculator updated for a little while, looking for as much info/guide as I can find to do it for myself.

Love this season but something needs to be done about Molotovs.

I love this season and the potential it has given players for a good game, but most of that will turn into annoyance if most of the game ends up being everyone spamming molotovs with dual throwable perk.

Literally every domination and hardpoint match I've been in so far had players abusing tf out of molotovs everywhere. And for some reason, it feels like the damage is even more lethal now as you die almost instantly.

Gun skills are so much more important and make the game more fun, playable & competitive.

Please put Molotovs back in scorestreaks, devs or make them a skill like Katana.
