Problem with Voice Chat after latest update.

Hi guys, loving the update so far. The only problem I am facing though, is that when I am talking to my teammate, his voice cuts off abruptly. I have to mute him and then un-mute him to bring his voice back. Are you guys facing this? And Any solutions for this?

Great update but...

I’m getting way too many unlocks and having to switch out my guns or dedicate the last page to opening up new unlocks or I mess up my load outs and forget what I had, just to see what I unlocked. Would be great if there was a screen that we could view all new unlocks that would make them as viewed instead of having to equip guns/camos/reticles, etc.

What do you think?

[BR] Scopes?

I’m confused. How do we get the guns we customized through Gunsmith? Are they on the drop crates exclusively now?

The most frustrating thing now is we can’t have scopes on non-sniper rifles. Also, Gunsmithing my AK117 took almost all my Weapon EXP cards so I guess BR is not BR anymore?

I’m genuinely feeling betrayed right now.

How to fix low FPS?

I’m experiencing about 15FPS and a 0.5s input delay since the update. iPhone 7+, iOS 13.5. Anyone know ways to improve performance? I had no issues running the app on medium graphics in previous seasons

Molotov+Shrapnel is too much

I felt it was over the top in beta and it is ridiculous in rank currently. If the Molotov is to stay a lethal, the damage needs to be reduced to balance out this gameplay. People are just spamming them in Domination and it's a joke.

I am officially done with pub and I like what they did here with gunsmith. Just curious if anything has been done with BR. I feel when I played last it was 20% real vs 80% bots which is trash for BR. Does anyone know the true percentages?

Guys, forget about the meta!

Understand that right now there are literal thousands of options for each gun. Of course it is easier to make a god gun from the cordite, kn 44 etc. but literally every gun is capable to be good. It just depends on your playstyle.

Most likely, the majority will go for low recoil and quick ads. But you can suit your playstyle: better hip, low ads time, higher damage, low recoil, distance, close etc.

Try to avoid watching videos with meta. It takes away from the satisfaction of building a good gun. Trial and error is the thing right now. That rear grip you put on, it increases your hip fire. But you have ads auto, so its useless. How about you slap on a stock for higher mobility or a good sight?!

See, this is just an example. Playing the meta will frustrate you, just enjoy the variety.

Loadout uses

I’ve been excited for the extra loadouts and the customization, but now I feel overwhelmed. I don’t know what to use my loadouts for. I used to have them for each ranked mode and then a random loadout, but now I’m lost.

Opinion: People who complain about how hard is gunsmith are just lazy.

Since this update released i seen many people conplaining how complicated gunsmith is. Like everything has a learning curve. Gunsmith is not a Einstein level concept. Just play and unlock them and read how attachments work. Gosh, it's not that complicated. You people are just too lazy to read.
And you can click that useful lightbulb and that requires you to read how they work anyways. Please stop complaining sloths. Seriously, just learn how they work anyways. Those people probably cannot handle to play Rainbow Six Siege anyways.

10mm vs 9mm MP5/QQ9 rounds

So from a little bit of testing I found that the

10mm Rounds:
-27 Dmg Headshot
-25 Dmg to chest (NOT UPPER CHEST) and arms
-22 Dmg to the Stomach and Legs
-Sacrifice Vert Recoil and a trivial amount of rate of fire, 4 shot potential!!!

9mm Rounds:
-25 Dmg Headshot
-23 Dmg to the chest and arms
-20 Dmg to the legs
-Small difference in fire rate compared to 10mm and reduced movement speed

I felt like this was relevant because some people were saying that the 10mm rounds had no effect. The 10mm rounds also add some damage range which only increases its 4 shot potential.

*Both weapons were tested at 5 meters and with identical attachments expect for magazine/ammunition.

Opinion: you should be able to loot and change scopes/sights in BR

I like the new updates to BR mode. It takes away unnecessary attention on looting and makes you focus on the shooting. But one thing I don't like is that you can't change scopes now. I feel this is not right, because scopes are an integral part of the gameplay and they can change how the game is playerd, and whether you win/lose too! So not only should we be allowed to loot and equip/change scopes, but we should also be given a quick scope change menu like in pubgm, and also more scope varieties that can be seen in MP should also be introduced to BR.

Battle royal had a downgrade?

Literally played beta, and even pics they posted specially about water is Same, even in low graphics BR look good and well optimized, I'm shocked today to see that water got a downgrade instead of upgrade..... Idk what happened but literally beta BR was much better than global update, even now Desync is more than S8, ofc I appreciate all other contents, but look like update have good side, and bad side, I will hold spamming Molotov part to next post.

Opinion: The new BR system was a mistake

Multiplayer got a huge update in a positive. Gunsmith ong has made it very diverse and a grind to obtain new attachments and camos. The new BR mode on the other hand changed in negative way, at least in my opinion. Attachments were completely removed which takes away from the looting aspect of the game. You can’t get excited when you come upon one of many guns you have epic skins on because they’re only obtainable if you make a loadout for the loadout drop. That’s not that big of deal, but having zero loot ale attachments makes it feel a bit dull. I’m a scenario where you find let’s say you find a gun, a qq9 as an example, it will come with pre attached attachments that are not able to be removed. You can change them or anything. There’s no more going through your inventory, attaching your favorite attachments. Maybe it’s just me, but what does everyone else think?

My Artic.50 wont one-shot anymore ?

Since the last update, i’ve been trying to personalize my Artic.50 by all means, but it just won’t make enough damage to one-shot, except by shooting in the head, which doesn’t happen all the time since i’m used to play really quickly with it. I used to be a really good Artic.50 player, doing flash scops and all, and with the update i just can’t anymore. I’m not familiar with the Gunsmithing at all but maybe you guys are so could you give me advice about what should i add to my Artic.50 to make it more quicker with scope, and eventually if i can make one-shot again ?

Gunsmith vs Traditional Attachments

One thing I wondered when reading about the level of customisation Gunsmith would offer, was whether it would be possible to keep the equivalent of ones existing/former attachments.

From what I can tell this isn’t the case, you either have to use the weapon in its default state, or use any of the newly available attachments..

Could someone please confirm my understanding as if this is the case I’m a little conflicted as I want to use (for eg;) my Lemon Drop Candy AK, which I used with Stock/Quickdraw/Extended Mag/Iron Sights.. That worked for me and also didn’t affect the look of the weapon at all.

Is there any way of achieving something comparable or do I now ‘need’ to use the most discreet attachments available..?

First, much love for the Devs for this lovely update.
Secondly, i know other things are beeing worked on right now, that are more urgent, but for my dear and beloved dlq and other sniper rifles some reticles can't be attained, because they require kills with a x8 scope, which currently doesn't exist for snipers thus making some reticles impossible to get. Anyways let's praise our Devs for this dump of stuff and be happy :D

Any suggestions to atleast reduce bad hit reg and desync issue

After the new update it's even worse now, for proof u can watch video in my recent post, hits register after a delay, unplayable in ranked. How to fix this issues. Looks like few players are facing it after the update. But i am not alone, there are many players, i talked with them, they are also facing. There's literally no improvement after the update and i think like old version was better, because it has less desync issues.

Any ways to reduce this? I am on wifi which has good internet which gives me less than 20ms ping

I'm a Sniper, and I feel like Snipers are dead.

I don't wanna complain about the Update, that's a great thing. But, while there are a lot of awesome contents I also noticed how Snipers became weird, especially considering that Quickscopes are now pretty impossible because of the weird movements it does while aiming, I feel so heavy while using them.

Do you know any way to make Quickscope great again?

Headshots not registering.

Literally even if an enemy is standing still and I shoot them in the head with a sniper it doesn’t even get a hit marker. Anyone else got this issue? Just got a 100+ shipment game and only 3 headshots when I know 100% I at least got 10.

BR Skin Issue

What is your opinion on not being able to use skins you paid for in BR (except drops) ? The entire update is awesome but I think this is the single worst part of the update. It takes away from BR players who spent money on the game. And now everyone can use paid skins just by picking up weapons randomly, without even having to kill.

Played for about an hour, only noticed two issues

First, I wanna say that I really enjoy the new update, the UI overhaul, gunsmithing, everything. But the update isn't perfect. Maybe these are just personal issues, but I'm not a fan of how camos work. I'm not talking about the new camo system, just how they're applied to guns. This really wasn't a big problem until I looked at my pistol. If you change any base attachments, it breaks the camo, which defeats the purpose of having a camo. Why have it at all if most of it isn't even visible on the gun? The second issue are the attachment slots. Nine customization options, but only five slots. Sure, the argument could be made that it limits gun op, but it also limits customization. I mean, the whole update is about all the ways you can customize your gun, but it limits the ways you can customize your gun. Like I said, maybe these are personal issues, but I just find them weird

My first day with S9

I like new update and gunsmith update, when I have lot's of option for good combo with my personal setup, but gunsmith still need little updates.

  1. Stickers: I was little disappointed, that trailer lie me with spray, pls fix devs and stickers are small.

  1. Weapons with skins: Gunsmith ruin weapons with Rare skins or we have option create new "skin", example MW11- Bandit, where after Gunsmith, MW11 look like stock skin with red details. Actual ideal weapon with skin(after gunsmith) look good with Uncommon skin or Epic skin, if we want same look skin.

Persistent bug in MP and BR.

I've been experiencing this bug where the control stick/movement button would sometimes go back to its default position even though I'm pressing on it on the screen. I've lost 1v1 battles because of this. It happens when moving, driving a tank, helicopter, even skydiving and parachuting. Have experienced it last season but only in MP, but now it happens even in BR. I hope the devs would fix this issue.

S10 BR Wishlist

I hope next season, these things would be added/adjusted to BR:

  • Gulag, for those who die, then a new "item" that can be picked up, to be used on certain terminals to revive a teammate that already died after Gulag
  • New Map, Verdansk
  • Kill Streaks
  • Remove the Red Marker on the shoulders of the enemy players
  • Gunsmith can change the appearance of Epic/Legendary Guns that has been introduced before S9 (ICR-1 from the events can have its appearance changed via Stock, Magazine, Barrel, etc)

Molotov is Too OP

Molotov was fine when it was a scorestreak, but not when its a primary gren; its too op. Played a match with friends and in domination and hardpoint, there was molotov EVERYWHERE. You cant even distinguish enemy/ally molotov. It just got frustrating.

I finished all my ex cars

I had saved 2000xp uncommon
1000xp rare and 46 epic and they all got drained but maxing out one weapon and barely upgrading one weapon and exp cards form store is so expensive like 15 thousand credits for 19 exp cards or something guess I'll just have to keep playing to level them up

Katana isn’t fair

With annihilator we only got 6 bullets but katana isn’t limited by anything you can get upto 10-15 kills depends on the map currently its the best weapon in the game it can’t be considered as an operator skill because noobz getz more kills with it than their guns

And you don’t have to do anything just wait till it fills up by itself, then slash your way out till it runs out or enemy is out of your teleport range, you can teleport nearly 10 meters with a single tap not mentioning faster movement

I don’t want to wait for the next season to you guys fix it

Am I wrong?

The update sucks man, ik I'll get downvoted for this but it's trash, my saved weapon cards are all gone and it's just a huge as mess for me, gunsmith was hyped and all that but regardless of what they've given us it's pretty much too much to handle. Like you go to gunsmith page and you'll get hella confused on what to get and what not to get as they mess up your gameplay as well such as slow ads speed etc etc. Another thing is the fucking molotov spams they are fucking everywhere. The game isn't even started yet properly and the announcer says enemy molotov out WTF I can't take it man ik some of these players are going thru this too but idk what to say about this. Desync still exists fuck sakes

Taking away mods in BR was probably a big mistake, but the rest of the updates are pretty cool.

I play BR exclusive, and I have to say most of the update is great, but taking away mods in BR really changes the gameplay. I play solo vs squads, and I think i can speak for a lot of high level folks that being able to dial our loadout specifically is a huge part of how many players have built their style of play. I think if we can bring back mods, or at least allow swapping of mods between guns we are carrying would do a huge part at keeping BR more true to itself.

It was a bit too much change all at once. Also night time BR play would still be sweet.

Does anybody have any gunsmithing tips?

I've never played other Cods, so gunsmith is kinda confusing to me. I saw a bunch of people posting their builds on here, so I thought to post this question here.

I maxed out KRM(I'm a shotgun main), KN-44, and almost maxed out Cordite. I dont have any xp cards left, and I mainly use those guns in ranked. I'm hoping to have 3 ranked loadouts ready for tourney. Any help?

PS: I'm an obj player so I have FHJ/SMRS in all my loadouts, so I really dont use pistols. Builds optimized for hardcore obj would be appreciated

in the recent update the molotov go a huge buff by increasing its damage massively on the top of that they made it a lethal rather than a scorestreak this made the molotov very annoying in ranked especially if the enemy have the shrapnel perk please make it a score streak again for the love of god

Before the update I used to use a Quickdraw+Fast Reload+foregrip combo for my man o war as my go to. Now with the update it seems like there isn't any quickdraw or fast reload making my man o war practically unusable since now the aim & reload speed is fucking terrible. Quickdraw has been an attachment i had for almost all ny guns and now I can't use it :( Is it just me that this happened to or did the cod creators really take that off? Cuz weirdly enough when I spectate ppl who kill alot of them have very quick aiming speed with the same weapons i use!!

Just gotta try out BR and clear all the "new" skins I have.

It's insane, unfortunate that I can't actually play it, but I'm glad for the hour and a half I had with it.

Is this a bug?

I unlocked the 10mm 30 round mags for the qq9/mp5. It says when unlocked, the gun deals more damage. (40, with the 10mm it does 60) I tried it in public, but it was weird, felt no change, so I tried it in training mode, and the damage was the same with and without the 10mm rounds attachment. Can someone explain how it works? I play mw, but there it deals more atually.

Anyone else experiencing damage lag in BR Now?

Had multiple BR rounds where it won't show I was being hit, then BOOM, dead.

Or I kill off an enemy, then die myself moments later by the very player I just killed.

Seems like Damage doesn't register as well as it did prior. Or people not even aiming in your direction, but still hitting you anyway.

Objectives to complete for camos

This is for those who are unhappy because weapon levels have increased , leading you to think the game is "grindy"

Day 1 of the update , haven't even played much probably an hour or 2. Razorback was at level 1 and now boom , it's maxed and I'm about to get gold too. Just because you saw "levl 50" doesn't mean it takes a year to max it out and you don't necessarily need Xp cards. I maxed out mine with out them purely by playing kill based for 2 hrs. I can easily say that this "grind" has actually been enjoyable and not stressful at all. I would reccomend all of you to try it out at least. Enjoy season 9 broskis!

Game running slow and "hanging" while playing.

After the most recent update I've been noticing a bizarre issue where the game "hangs" every second, only for a split second, creating this disconcerting lag effect. It's borderline unplayable. Anybody else on low end iOS devices (iPhone 6, 6S) having this issue?

Weird connection problems

Since i had downloaded the new update I've been facing some problems related to in-game connection.

1- The game doesn't start, it says that there's no internet connection available. I've made tests on my internet connection and its just as fine. I can open a Livestream without problems in a high quality definition...

2- After so many tries, and finally logging in, the game keeps disconnecting (that grey screen with a "connecting" message).

3- when in a match, my ping is just weirdly jumping all around. My usual ping is 30, at least until yesterday night, now its oscillating between 80-130.

Anyone else facing the same issues? I don't think its my connection, given that ive tested it already..

I think gunsmith is basically a lie.

I think its mostly visual change. It doesnt really change the stats. I unlocked the 10mm round mags for the qq9/mp5, but the damage didnt increase at all. Totally same, I tried it in training mode. Also, the recoil. I didnt see any change. I could manage to make the range better, the ammo capacity, amd ofcourse the sights look. Its weird, maybe only a thing for the qq9? Someone explain pls.

Scope issues.

Tried to use 3x and 4x scope on several weapons. When I pull up the scope in battle, it won't move. It will fire, but I can't move the gun. What am I doing wrong? If I use the red dot scope, it works normally.

I really like the new background sounds and the new gunsmith i love it and I really really like the new animations for volting and the nerf to the uev is good and all of the guns are really balanced and usable the only thing that I don't like is how bad the hbr ads got nerfed and the Arctic.50 got obliterated other than that the update is 10/10

Since the update, when selecting camos for guns in BR I can only select the new challenge camos, uncommon and rare camos as well. I can’t select anything more rare?? Is this a bug or what? Why would they do that purposefully, means we don’t have access to the top tier guns from season packs

Thoughts on Season 9 update

So I’ve seen a lot of posts talking about the new update and I thought I’d add my 2 cents.

I love the new update; I’ve been playing since season 3 and it the devs have really proven their mettle with this newest season.

Gunsmith: being able to customize my guns with all these new attachments is a real learning curve. However grinding/upgrading the weapons to find the attachments that fits my playing style is enjoyable. I find that the gunsmith is also forces me to think critically due to the number of different combinations available. I find that I cannot 3 shot kill with my AK117 anymore so I have to really think about what attachments I want on my gun and how I will have to modify my playing style in matches.

My only annoyance is that I think I will have to find a new AR to use as a main because I’ve been losing a lot of gunfights with AK117 and I’ve used this gun since I started playing the game (If any other players have advice with Ak117 in the new update please let me know)

Molotov cocktail: having it as a lethal reminds me of the console cod titles and I think it’s a move in the right direction. Lobbing these bad bois adds a chaotic element to the match and makes gunfight more interesting compared to when they were a score streak.

Shipment 1944: It’s a clusterfuck shitshow with a lot of spawn traps and I love it! This is an amazing map and IMO one of the best small maps on the game.

CODM Season 9

Just wanted to let the developers know that they have done a bang up job with season 9. The shipment map is probably the most fun I have had playing a mobile game. Brings back a lot of memories. Downloaded the game during the quarantine and I have never regretted my decision. Thank you developers for listening to the community and caring about what the players want. In this chaos of pay to win bs, codm is definitely a breath of fresh air.
Gunsmith is a little daunting, but gives me a reason to grind more. I love this game more than I care to admit lol. My friends are tired of hearing the praises, but I don't care. I will always regard this as the best mobile game.

Shotguns are really REALLY buffed if you go with range attachment

Attachment limit kinda makes no sense....i get a perk,laser,barrel,stock,sight but i cant put extended mag because of some limit ???

Lately when i join random lobby kids (no joke litteraly kids the squeaky 10yr old ones) telling me to go fu*k myself and im poor idiot while they are rich etc. and when i die they start saying even worse how my moms a whore and they will rip her tits out with scissors(at this point you dont believe me but you will if it happens btw ive never met my mother) and if we end uo winning and im mvp(which mostly am) they start screaming into mic how im bad and system is wrong...
after long time im not really into this game anymore so goodbye CODM community

Desynchronization is still present and worse than ever after thr update

I ww serially hoping that the desync issues would be largely addressed with this latest update, but if anything, it's far, far worse.

Sinper bullets passing through stationary enemies in BR. Instant death in MP from players who are still around corners (on my end) or a full two seconds after I find cover. The spazzing jumping/sliding sweats are pretty much playing "Portal" with how they phase in and out.

I'm running a high-end flagship device (less than a year old) and have an average ping around ~35. Anyone else notice this?

As to not be overly negative, the new map is stellar.

Seriously, who tf optimized this update?!

I’m using an iPhone X and I used to play on Very High graphics all the time, now it won’t keep up on Medium!!
Way to give the middle finger to thousands of players who won’t be able to play from now on!

Also:

  • Hit reg/Desync is even WORSE now
  • I still can’t use a VTOL because “Reconnecting...” every 5 seconds
  • ADSing is causing a weird wobble of the weapon
  • When you start to shoot with DRH, it stops like burst fire

Season 9 Domination thoughts

Anybody else thrown off by the new domination rules ? Ik it's meant to balance out the mode as a whole and reduce the effect of a single gravity or katana spree in capturing a point but it's made the gameplay so much slower. Domination was my personal favourite game mode and now it's at literally half the pulse pounding pace it used to be.

New system just ONE day before tournament?!

As many people have noticed the game mechanics have changed along with new Gunsmith system. The recoil, ADS, gaming speed feel different. We have to check all different variations of those attachments as what we used to play with is no longer make sense.

How fair is that towards teams who mastered certain gun classes and combos for the Championship? Why this life changing update comes one day before competition?

Just played with my team of legendaries. Put half of your muscle memory in trash as you cant override it over night, put random new attachments, reconsider mechanics (for which you got used to for months) in few hours and try to win. And GOOD LUCK from COD MOBILE DEVELOPERS!

Bluetooth woes

Connecting a Madcatz bluetooth controller on iOS 12.3 crashed my game immediately, and the game won’t launch with at all with it connected. As soon as I disconnect it I can launch again.

Voice Communication in BR is broken completely

I don't who else has faced this but the voice communication in Battle Royale is now extremely unstable.

I was playing with my squad and suddenly I realize that I've stopped hearing my teammates and same thing happened with them too.

Earlier only microphones were buggy, but now both the speaker and microphone have become buggy. This is extremely bad for squad plays. We all keep talking but none of us are able to hear anything. Turning the speaker and mic on/off starts the communication again but then how many times are we supposed to do that while in-game.

I've asked other fellow players too about this and they too have faced this issue. Please fix it asap. Playing BR with squad is only fun when we all can communicate with each other.

Is AK117 still viable after the gunsmith update?

It feels so weak compared to other gun now. I have never been a big fan of SMGs, assault rifles have more of a strategic deliberate gameplay to them that I enjoy more and AK117 was my favourite. Now I’m unsure if I should reconsider.

What do you guys think? I’m currently ranked master 2, idk how relevant it is.

We NEED hardcore mode for challenges

Right now I'm grinding camos. Already got the golden QQ9 and decided to do the kn.

But there's a problem I noted on both guns. Headshot hit detection is kinda wonky.
I sware there's been so many times where I'm shooting at someone's head with max ads spread accuracy from short range and I still dont get the headshot.

Theres also the problem with longshots on some weapons like ARs, since often you'll have to stick to a wall and hope someone else does the same long enough for you to kill him.

A great solution would be to add hardcore mode to the game, which for whatever reason hasn't been added yet.

What do you think?

Is gunsmith too much for a mobile game?

I am going to come clean and admit I do like the gunsmith update. It gives me a feeling that I can really personalise guns to my play style.

But what gets me is that this is a mobile game... Not a full blown console game. It seems like it wants to mirror war zone but forgetting the fact that it is part of a handheld limited functionality game which pushed the envelope as it was....
But now I feel there is too much. We went from a mobile game that was pretty advanced to something that wants to imitate a console game whilst forgetting the fact that it isn't. I liked this game simply because it wasn't a full blown console game.... But now it feels like a rip off of warzone. And shit... I don't want to play warzone.

Am I the only one that feels this way, or am I speaking for a few people here

Update ruined BR

Just my opinion. But this new update ruins the whole point of looting. Now all you have to do is land on a heli then drop at airdrop for the perfect loadout. I find myself landing, grabbing one gun. Then sitting in a heli for loadout.
Also. The weapon menu is weird. Like when I have to guns it won’t let me swap scopes, or any other attachments.

Hello guys!
I wanted to know your opinion about the new Battle Royal. I really love the update but I have to admit that I didn't like the new Battle Royal because now it just depends on how lucky the player has to find a perfect weapon.
I'm not saying this because I'm always dying, but because I'm "playing better", I'm not an exceptional player in BR, (I'm only in the PRO I rank and I'm rarely even able to reach the last 30) but now with this update I'm always in the last 10 cuz I'm lucky and I find legendary or epic weapons. I miss when we had to find weapon accessories, it made the game more challenging because we needed to find good accessories to increase our chances, and yet the skill was more important. Now all we need is search for a good weapon.
Please tell me your opinion, if you agree with me or disagree. Thanks for your time and good game to you all!!

If recoil is Accuracy what does Controls mean? Why is the damage much lower with a lot of guns? Is there anything that can bring that up? Also is there really a difference between the Pdw and Razorback because the base stats are the same.
