Story time

Was on a long bus ride playing codm on my phone and this dude comes behind me and trash talks saying that I “shouldn’t play 4 finger claw on my phone, my screen is too small,” and that “I’m trash.” I asked him if he played and he did so I agreed to do a friendly sniper 1v1 to have a general overview of who’s better. This dude brings out an iPad, links it to the bus wifi and logs on. He was level 59, pro 3 for mp and never played br and long story short, I nuked him and he never trash talked me again.

Petty teammates in BR

I played Duos with a guy called SHADOW_KnG.
He was knocked, so I rushed to revive him, I couldn't coz I was being shot from 2 directions by 2 Duos.
I had to kill 3 people to clear the area near him, he died by the time I could frame him.
So I was looting the crates and trapping them, I forgot which crate was his.
And he sends me message saying "Don't take my Adrenaline bro"
I already had enough as I looted enemy crates, so obviously I'd give him when we lands.
And then he landed elsewhere and got knocked again.

For being so cheap, he didn't even land.
I won that match.

-First thing i would noticed obviously was the gunsmith and u need exp cards to unlock all the materials for the gun

-All camos have every exact skin until the last one was gold camos and if im not mistaken and all the mission were also same for unlocking the early camo

-They have changed few of guns sounds and added some new layouts for the mp

-Apparently the sparrow have been buff i think it might be useful again? Also i didnt feel the annilihator was nerf so hard its still useable

-For those who played other sens than fixed u should change because they made fixed for both mp and br

Season 9 just dropped, but Garena customer support treats me like trash

I'm really out of words. I spent so much money on this game because of how much I enjoy it, what hurts really more is that I lost my job due to my workplace shutting down because of corona. 2 days ago I logged on and found my account banned until 2030. I contacted Garena Support and this is their response:

Quick question for those who got the update already

Have your sensitivities been reset back to default with the update? I know that loadouts were reset for Gunsmith, and I wonder if the same was done for camera and firing sensitivities since optics with new zoom levels were added.

Trying to decide if I'll need to screenshot my current sensitivities just in case.

New update is super cool and not cool at the same time

Cool for people who have the time to grind, a lot of shit to do to grind the camos and levels...really satisfying to grind

Not cool if you just wanna enjoy but you cant equip a lot of shit because you cant level up shit. Also to play BR you have to grind MP first.

Overall update is super cool especially BR, it felt like Warzone Lite (kinda). Didnt play too much to criticize yet but the armor plate and adrenaline is too much work...down time is too long because you need to heal with adrenaline, then repair with armor plates.

MP i felt like i die too quick ...the gunsmith made the TTK of certain guns to be really short

I believe taht the update will drop tomorrow and i have three proves to support my assumption:-

  1. The seasonal challenges, all of them, are ending within a day from today.
  2. Even the featured challenges are having the same time left.
  3. also usually the update drops 1 or 2 days before the actual battle pass, which we all know is coming tomorrow, so that makes tomorrow the update day.
    Thus i conclude that tomorrow might be the update day.

Could have the guns back then that is max or on a certain level the same not reset all them or could have given some more exp cards or increase the given exp its hard to test what's the better gun that fits on you if we need to start over again and can only upgrade certain guns i got 2,000 blue weapon exp cards and 1,000 violet weapon exp cards and i got to upgrade and test only 4 guns.

Katana Bug: (I think) whenever someone activates Katana, my screen FOV shrinks.

I don’t really notice if it happens every time someone activates Katana but it’s only been happening ever since the Katana operates skill has been released. It messes me up because my FOV just suddenly shrinks and makes me disoriented.

My FOV goes back to normal though after I die, but it shrinks again after someone uses Katana. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Petition to add sub categories to snipers and shotguns (also bring down the arctic 50's hip-fire rate)

So this is something that I have thought about, and now I think I'm ready to post it here.

I can't simply begin to tell how many times I've been playing 1v1 duels in gulag or saloon , and when I lose I usually pick snipers or shotguns.

Now in this situation, a lot of people pick something like a BY15 or some sniper like a locus or DLQ. However, I have seen so many people use things like a striker , or the xpr.

Now a big issue I have here is the fact that while a striker is pretty weak damage wise, it still makes you flinch like crazy, and also the damage is enough to kill you in 4- 5 shots.

Or some people pick semi automatic snipers and start spamming the hell out of the hipfire button, which brings me to my next point: arctic spammers.

I HATE ARCTIC SPAMMERS. While the arctic 50 is not as good as the DLQ, it will most likely one shot you. It's also "ok" to quickscope with, but the hipfire-rate compared to the damage is so unfair.

There are so many people that can't aim with the arctic 50's scope, so they start camping in a corner and spamming hipfire, and the arctic 50 having enough damage to one shot and high fire rate don't mix well. It's a sniper, not an operator skill.

These two things need to be changed: add subcategories to snipers and shotguns, and reduce the hip fire rate of the arctic 50 to a point where it's fair but not OP.

Gameloop (PC) version crashes when attempting to play with wireless headphones

My game would freeze when loading into a multiplayer lobby. I spent hours diagnosing and restarting the game using trial and error. I've finally figured out that the issue is caused when I start the game with my apple airpod pros connected via Bluetooth. I just want to bring attention to this because I'm ranked pro V and and it's hard to find a game (usually 15 minute wait) without joining a premade team that almost always require a mic.

For Garena users who already have the update ... Gunsmith aside, were there buff and nerf weapons? The patch notes don't say so, but various weapons felt different in the beta.

i think season 9 is great and i’m so excited for more. but why did they nerf the DLQ ADS time? it’s so slow now even with all the speed-up attachments. it feels weird and changed sniping forever :/

also dom is super super different. I personally think the old version of domination is better but I guess having to “clean up” is alright too and we’ll get used to it

Yes the delay in the update is annoying and yes CodM should have just simply predicted the delay and changed it far before anyone realized or cared. However I feel like this sub doesn’t see the full picture. Of course codm didn’t want to delay this update. They are loosing players and money as they do so. I think we should all be mad that it’s delayed but we should also see there side that they are putting there product before money. Not a lot of other mobile games would ever do that. That’s all😁

Battle Royale fails

I havent tested the S9 update for the multiplayer mode but these are the bugs I have already experienced within the battle royale mode after 6 games

My character teleports when its gets into corners of buildings or metal/concrete walls.

My team mate kills 2 guys that downed me, after he killed them, the lootboxes disappeared.

I had no voice chat within all of these games. Even after reconnecting/ resetting the game, my wifi, phone and even after using headphones or without it, there was no voice. Voice chat in lobby is fine though.

There was too much de sync, I had gunned down a guy and literally lasered him with a cordite with 40 bullets all hitting and he was still alive. I had to reload another to kill the guy.

Gliding sometimes bug out and make the player glide left side of the area.

During free view, my perspective suddenly does a 180 look when im looking straight ahead.

I dont know if this is a bug but airborne kinda lags first before doing rising up. like the sounds already indicated that youve launched but youre still on the airborne device.

I know the delay for the update was to fix bugs
but the only bug i felt that was fixed was the in game are : the sound for gun shots and directional compass sound and minimap indications of foot steps.

Garena player here. Have any questions for the new update?

I know everyone’s wilding that Global version hasn’t gotten the update yet, but don’t get too excited. Yes, gunsmith is here and it’s as beautiful as we’d imagined, but I’ve noticed a few key problems with the new update:

•ARs have significantly slower ADS times
I’m not sure if it’s my set-up or something, but I put on everything I could to reduce ADS time on my LK24 and the ADS is still a solid 0.5 seconds. I’ve noticed a similar problem for many other ARs. It could be a balancing feature but it makes it difficult to push aggro with ARs. The fact that it’s impossible to run the LK24 with the iron sight makes the situation worse.

•The same 3 guns
Currently, I keep seeing the same 3 guns over and over again in MP, that being the Cordite, KN44 and the QQ9. The QQ9’s ADS time is insanely quick, and couple that with the new recoil mechanism it’s frankly quite overpowered. I have not tried either the Cordite nor the KN44

•Sweaty pubs
Since the new update, legendaries have been playing around in pubs. Public matches have reached a new high for sweat levels. I, a sad casual, can’t wait for the new ranked season so the 5 man legendary squads can migrate.

•Long grinds
This isn’t a problem. I love grinds. Just wanted to point it out.

I mean it's really good having all those customization, but I think it adds more complexity to it rather than simplify it and I like it before because it's simple. Now BR is like, I don't know what I'm fucking doing anymore, spending more time with item that you don't want to care but you really need to use so you can use guns better. I don't know man, it'll take time to adjust.

Just a quick suggestion, first of all big thumbs up to the devs for such a great game 👍👍 and now a suggestion, if ur bringing new characters and guns in the game please bring some in bundles too, like if ur putting 10 Characters and guns put 4 in crates...

A kind request to you since every one cannot afford lucky draw and crates but can afford bundles and battle pass offcourse regardless the battle pass is awesome!!

Molotov in new update, Too broken

molotov is too over powered right now, especially in gamemodes like domination, which sucks as hell, I wish it gets nerfed soon so no global players will feel the pain, im a garena player so I got the update early

Anyone else pissed there putting a cool skin on the katana I got the plain original one cause for a lot of money by the way because I thought it was gonna be the only one and I liked the katana but now there adding cool skins in the game and screwing over the people who spent a shot ton getting the original one they are bad with skins and very sketchy like making people pay $100s to $1000s for rare skins then releasing them in a bundle for $10 a few months after not to mention the whole legendary kn44 thing my god they need less praise if there gonna keep pretty much stealing peoples money like this the whole gunsmith update is great and all but it completely took the spotlight and everyone grazed passed the fact there changing and rereleasing expensive skins and it’s not ok

First impressions on Garena's Gunsmith meta

So, it seems like the Pharo has returned, even capapble of one bursting from afar. (due to possibly longer range attachments and faster ads.) The KN essentially disappeared..(in my experience) replaced by the cordite. The QQ9 and MsMc has been replaced by the pharo (again). Snipers ARE GODLY, mix em up with pure ads + stopping power (IF YOU WANT) brings you insanely fast ads time. SG is still there, although their numbers has dropped.

Note: all of these are personal experiences on the first day of the update. These might change the following weeks. I am only giving the people a guide on how to adapt in the new meta.

This season so far

So I avoided reading all the spoilers about this season (except for the gunsmith update which I cant help but read), I thought we could equip all attachments but we can only equip 5. Still though, this is a really nice update and will change the way the game is played forever. Also I dont know if its permanent but apparently in ranked we can choose modes now and I can't see the ranked selection mode event.

P.S. Playing dom and hardpoint is soooo fucking hard right now with all the molotov cocktail. Especially the small hardpoints where they're literally burning like forever like come on dude let us on the hardpoint lol

Also can someone explain to me how the new domination works? I confused about the new mechanics.

Bugs I've experienced lately

So update has arrived in SEA (I'm in Philippines) and yea, here are the bugs that me and my teammates experienced in both BR and MP.

getting disconnected in voice chat at very random times
Textures not loaded
Non-existent hitboxes of enemies
Lag (even though my net is stable)
random crashes
Katana bug (stuck in TPP even after skill ends)

Hope they fix this ASAP... Still appreciate the gunsmith tho uwu

I've been struggling to aim lately due to my screen to responding well when it gets moist from my sweat because live in a hot area but it also becomes too difficult to aim if the screen is too dry. Is anyone experiencing this problem and how do i fix it?
