Question about season 9, Gunsmith

So as you all know, in season 9 every weapon will have its own lvl and by leveling the gun you will get new attachments, you will now level the whole gun not just skin. What will happen to our old xp cards invested into guns? What about guns we have maxed out? Will our xp cards go to waste or will guns stay the way they are? Or will we recieve SOMETHING in return for all those xp cards spend?

Teamup for 2nd level of Codm championship

I started playing CODM just before the championship started, I didn't like the BR but everything else was good, I tried to qualify for the solos and lucky qualified in the 3rd attempt. I am still learning several things and I am looking for team mates who are qualified for 2nd round and want to work together as a team.

About SMG Perks

Dear SMG Veterans, I'm an SMG player.
You all know that 1. Epic SMGs adds few clips after double kill
2. Rare SMGs reloads faster after kill.
I tested Epic perk personally that it adds 5-10 bullets after double kill.
I want to know how fast it reloads with Rare perk?
Both of them seems to be equally beneficial for certain situations.

Temporary bans without cheating? What to do?

Hi all,

So I must confess, I was having a good time sniping on the Highrise map (yes I should be ashamed, I know). I had a good run 30-3. After that game, the game decided that I must have been cheated, and banned me for 15 minutes. Strange, but ok. After loggin in again, It’s now banned for 30 minutes without entering a match.

Anyone know what to do? I have never cheated and haven’t planned to do in the future. I play since day 1, have spend money on battle passes and crates and getting banned for no reason (other then sniping in Highrise) is just BS. The website didn’t really help me any further on what to do, so that’s why I’m here.

I did have a jailbreak on my iPhone (for months already, but still). I’ll deactivate my jailbreak incase that might help. Getting banned without reason just when S9 is around the corner is the worst...

I think trip mines are the most annoying think to come across, I would love to see a counter to them except from shooting them such as if you hear it go off you should be able to go prone to not get killed, most games with lethals like that have the exact feature so it would be nice to have a counter if your quick enough

Kar 98 question.

Will it have 2 reload animations like in modern warfare? Because if you put a scope on it, then you have to put the bullets one by one, but if you're not using any scope, you can put the entire stripper magazine at once.

Hi there🙋‍♂️,now we had the best mobile shooter🥳and it's improving day by day. So there a few tips which is noticed basically by our awesome subreddit and me:
First lets start with BR
1)As br turning slowly into a warzone mobile there few mechanics there can be imported from game
1. The shop where we can buy loud outs and score streaks
2.The GULAG instead of scanning dogtags
3. Also we need Killcam in BR
4. Better third person animation just like PUBG now it like a FreeFIRE
5.Now we have a huge map so there can be lack of the players so devs should fully kick out AI or add a hardcore mode with no AI and some rank bonus
6. Better transport animations. I cant say that now it's bad but it could be better
7.The landing in first person just like Warzone.
2)Now lets move to Multiplayer
1.Now we have an intro from Warzone, can we do same with the MP too there is intre movie in MW2019 too.
2. I found concept video of knife executing and predator missile from MW2019 in COD Mobile can we have this
3.Also you can add a weapon mounting for example to windows and corners like Warzone
4.Need to improve a bugs with Killcam
3) And lastly there are few modes/improvements
1.Imagine having a SpecOps from CODMW franchise with stories it will be just exiting
2. Many people asked for zombies I didn't play zombies so write your ideas in comment
3. Advanced navigation with swipes. Example: swipe to left with two fingers to enter BR or gunsmith and ets.
4.The ability to change fire modes in Gunsmith for example you can make the Pharo to fire auto or MSMC to fire burst
Just notice that I'm not asking and it's just some ideas to improve a game if you have more please write in comments

I know this is a known issue now, the zoom in with the katana....but what I'm not getting, is even if I don't have the katana in my load out!? Why am I STILL getting the zoom in during matches!? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔 ...I guess we can all use it as an indication that someone in the match is going to be using it!! 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️Is this happening to everyone else as well!? I have an old (made the day codm released) and was wondering..

I was wondering whether i would be able to 'merge' my account that I made on the release of codm to my current one because I had to change from my old iPhone to an android and I didnt have a Facebook account (so no link) and I was thinking - could i get my abnormality skins and any old ones (going to try to access the account in a minute) so that I am able to have those skins as I think they look really cool and would definitely use them. (Most of the skins were from the around the world event right at the release)

Call of duty mobile stupid logic

Those stupid Chinese devs have a great logic because an annihilator can knock you down with vest level 3 and full adrenaline as well. But in other hand a full Mag of ak47 shooting on guy without even missing a single bullet ( good aim + even hit maker shows) and he still alive while with one shot of that stupid thing kill you. Not forget about stupid trap master which is supposed to slow your speed. While devs make it kill you. Those Chinese don't even deserve to devlopp codm.

S9 Battle pass and ranked rewards :/

Okay, so most of us on this reddit have seen the leaks and the test server features. Everything in the S9 BP looks great, including the qq9 and chopper, which are my main point of this discussion. If you check the new ranked rewards, there is also a new qq9 and chopper skins. This is a little hard to comprehend why would they provide two skins for two guns in this upcoming season when we have so many other guns to provide skins for such as the GKS and many more. Which draw should I buy?

I’m thinking of buying one of the 2 draws while they still here atm or should I wait for next season?. I enjoy both QQ9 and KN. I use QQ9 when rushing and flanking and kn when playing more calm and support but I’m not sure which is worth it in the long run. QQ9 has xp and frame bonus while KN doesn’t.

Unable to play MP Ranked on PC (gameloop emulator)

The game keeps loading until the max loading time (around 360 seconds) runs out. I, with a squad full of console players, once tried for 30 mins, but still couldn't find a match. Just tried for ranked while making this post and the game still says: unable to find an opponent.

Any of you have or had the same problem? If so, I would like to hear your thoughts.

Remove sniper rifles and bad guns from the platform

I think sniper rifles and bad guns like the gks and especially the hs2126 shotgun should be removed from the green boxes on the platform.

These guns create a problem because winning on the platform becomes more about getting lucky and finding a good gun, rather than skill alone. If you pick up a dlq after landing, and 2 opponents next to you have an ak117 and man-o-war, your chances of survival are slim. Your only option is to jump off, which defeats the purpose of landing there.

Usually, the best players land on the platform because it's a high-risk, high reward place to land and get good loot. Having bad guns on the platform undermines it's purpose. It should be full of good close-range guns, so the skilled players can fight fairly and the winners can leave with a good loadout.

There should only be close quarters guns like AR's and SMG's in green boxes. Other guns like the by15 and arctic 50 can still be on the platform, but not in green boxes. That way, players can bypass them if they don't want them.

I feel like this would make the platform gameplay much more enjoyable and rewarding. Like if you agree.

Maybe you feel my pain ... Asshole search and destroy situation ... I'm new to legendary but this scenario showed me why good players smash their tablets on the wall then piss on them.

Search and we down 1-4, we comeback tie it, he plants I smoke it and put a trip, the two come from spawn side I kill 1 as I take hits and almost killed the second. I watch and he has the hs404 shittiest shotty and put my hand on my head and look down cuz I know we're fucked and we lost. I am new legendary and now I see why good players rage over these idiots. I chipped the second dudes health down so far he coulda fuckin sneezed and killed him.

..that the PDW be nerfed, IMHO, Half the players in CODM wouldn’t know how to play without it. Easy to score when you don’t have to aim. It should be banned in ranked. If you playing with it you don’t belong in ranked, sorry.

Obj folks - please play obj and not do a ferg

Fed up with rank right now, no one plays obj or even have game sense for predicting what's next.

Especially hard point, you are all not ferg and can't always slay. Also being like ferg doesn't mean you will win. Only thing you get 100% correct of his play style is quit game mid way through because you weren't having your way.

So many games today where I was the only one pushing for the hill and trying to get the teammates to move to the next hill to prep. Did they do it? Maybe 1 put of 5 games with randoms.

Also if you are a slayer then I expect you to be the top frag and actually make a difference. Not ending at the bottom with negative kd and me who is the obj player coming out as MVP on the losing team with a positive kd like 19/5

Stage 2B and reset questions (serious)

I want to start by saying thank you for this wonderful game! Please do not interpret the following as a lack of appreciation; my only intention is to point out some potential oversights given all the new things that are happening.

  1. Assuming reset and update are happening prior to stage 2B, should players have time to grind gun lvls before the tournament starts? If not this gives a large advantage to players who have been playing longer. As a player who started in season 6 (lvl 150 leg in MP and BR) i might be able to fully level 2-3 guns. I will have to grind at least 7 to fill out the new loadouts (thanks for +5!)

  2. When the reset happens everyone will be bumped down by 3k(?) rank points. In order for people who are just reaching legendary and newer players (who started this series at 0) to play on legendary rank for stage 2b, they will have to reach at least 9k rank points. This is not as concerning to me given that there is something we can do about it prior to reset, but I think its still something that should be on your radar.

Dualshock 4 Connection Issues

So I recently started playing COD Mobile by connecting my DualShock 4 controller. I tried to connect and play today and when trying to, nothing would happen despite getting visual confirmation from my phone(Android) that my controller was connected. Then when I tried to use the manual connection method, by pressing the connect button in the settings, I'm just left with this frustrating pop-up window. I've tried different ways of connecting(connecting before launching the game, connecting with the game launched, etc.) with no results for any of the methods. Please help.

An option to change hitsound/killsound

It'd be nice to have an option to choose hitsound/killsound between Classic CoD, MW2019 & Black Ops 4.

Some weapons just feel better with certian hit/killsounds like the GKS, Man-o-war, KN-44 feels better with the Black Ops 4 Hit/killsound. .

These back to back SNDs are getting annoying.

I keep getting back to back snds for 4-5 times in a row and tbh after quitting competitive I've only had 1-2 hours a day to play the game and I don't like spending all of it in playing 6 games of snds 10 minutes each. I even quit some matches out of sheer annoyance. Hopefully when the devs bring back Ranked selection this time it would be permanent.

Being from the UK I don’t experience hardly any ping issues, I have good WiFi and if it’s playing up I can use 4G. I play cod mobile a lot, sometimes up to 5 hours a day and recently I was able to join a clan from Ghana, I average around 30ms.
Frankly due to the lack of an African server I’m shocked and impressed that they’ve kept on playing. Disconnecting mid game, lag, hardly being able to play the game. I play scrims with them, clan vs clan games, BR tournaments where they face anger and grief from opposing players because my ping is that much better I am, and a few others from other places around the world, are seen as an unfair advantage, which to be honest we are. But why should we be stopped from playing with people from Africa? It’s not their fault for wanting to play a really good mobile game and it’s not ours either. My clan are caring fun people that deserve to get to play the game properly.
Nearly all of them have never reached 60ms so 30ms is pretty extraordinary, they average around 120ms and it honestly shows, it’s hard to better yourself at a game when you’re restricted so tightly, I sometimes struggle to play at 80ms , complain I’m lagging and throw a strop, imagine averaging 120ms. The players in my clan are extremely good, they practice a lot, try to better themselves a lot and I know there are so many players across Africa suffering the same.
Please add an African server!

Massive FPS drop when using tank against multiple players

Hey there, today I came against a tank (me) vs 4 players fight in the last circle of a BR match at the Countdown area, and I noticed my fps dropped massively during the fight, from 45 to less than 10, making my survival attempts pretty much useless. Oddly enough, this only seems to happen upon using the tank and none of the other vehicles.

Anyone else experiencing the same on low end devices?

Trash talking on the message in game chat

Seriously? Some people just spend too much time hating and bullying on the in game chat.

Had a relaxing pub Dom match on summit and it kicked off with 2 Legendaries on the other team spamming hate and negativity. Especially one of them said they will upload our defeat to yt.

I hope they recorded the game and can upload the outcome haha I had a 29/0 kd, dropped a nuke on them and finished them off with a vtol.

Tbh I thought they were bots, they played so badly and ended up all with a negative kd.

Just need to say, spend more time playing the game rather than hating

New to this game.

Started playing for a Month, And i am at Master rank, of course, insane at Master, but that isn't the case, as a noob, i played, multiplayer, matches, and was really loving the game, and just BR i was doing perfectly fine, Although, I didn't know of rank, Until i reached, Pro V, so since i started playing Rank, i have been exposed, it just got me to realize, how bad, of a player i am, I would like to know how many fingers do you think works better? I have switched from two finger to a 3 to four, currently forcing my self to play 4 fingers, I am actually thinking of starting a new account, and getting to learn the game, easily. Any tips would be used,I just don't want to be a noob playing Master difficult.

Any gun suggestions?

I’m not a new player or anything, I’m a level 101.

My default gun is an AK-47, which is good but the magazine capacity isn’t great. When I’m not using the AK I use the S36, which is great except for the mobility, which is trash.

Any suggestions? I’ll take anything, I really need a new default gun.

Not enough turnaround between S9 & 2B?

What do you guys think?

TL;DR: Will we have time to grind to Legendary and upgrade our weapons before Stage 2B begins?

Big important question for ( u/COD_Mobile_Official ) that is on a lot of players' minds: What is happening with the Championship Tournament Stage 2B relative to the update?

We know the S9 update is coming within the next week, and we know 2B starts on 08/15. There is speculation that the update will also drop on 08/15, based on the fact that the timeline for Daily Log-in Rewards has been extended to 08/14. While I'm not trying to beg for the exact release date of S9 (you would have told us if you could), I am wondering about some things...

  • Will rank reset happen before the start of 2B?
  • Will we have an appropriate adjustment period to get a handle on the new weapon systems/significant changes happening with this amazing update, before competing?
  • Will the average player have a chance at grinding back up to Legendary and upgrading weapons before registering for the tournament, and still have time to play all 30 games before it ends?

Any insight would be appreciated. A lot of players are worried about what the timing of this update means for their chances in 2B, any insight would be much, much appreciated!

When playing Domination, which btw is an actual game mode unlike Frontline or TDM, the beacon located at B is the main beacon to fight for other than home beacon. Stop trying to take the enemy home beacon. You should know this in Masters or Legendary...

I got a BR idea.

You know how your team can revive you in BR by scanning your tags. How about when your on the plane there is a option for no chip upgrade but instead a random non pistol/launcher that has no attachments instead of the pistol. It’s would make BR a bit more interesting as people roll a dice to see what luck they have and allow final circle come backs. If you guys have suggestions on how this could be implemented this is also a suggestion so if you don’t like it upvote the first comment that says no one cares. Also for the people who will say something about skill this is here for the times you need something more than a MW1911 so you can sacrifice something just so you can try and complete something also this suggestion can’t be activated on the first flight and is not a chip you can choose in pre game. It will simply be a option beside change chip that says “no chip for a random weapon)

Thats it I already posted once before about hackers in the Middle East servers, and still CODM does nothing to them, I hated the game because of them , there’s no way in the first half of a domination we captured A,B and C and all of the sudden second half they killing us without even aiming on us , every 3 matches I most played ether with or against hackers, do I need to download a hack to play this game from now on, because I’m thinking about it . BS: all Arabic clans have hackers playing with them .

AK-47 better?

So....... I was playing ranked with my friends and normally for AR build I use DR-H with foregrip , otm(obviously) and extended mag.......and just for shits and giggles tried AK-47 with QuickDraw, fore grip and extended...... And somehow it felt better than DR-H. It was 3-shot kill close and four-shot kill at range...... Was there a secret buff for AK??? Can some else who uses DR-H use it and confirm??? Or it might just be that I'm better with AK.... Or I'm tripping hard!!! And also extra bullets help( you'll understand if you use DR-H)!!!

A suggestion to improve rank matchmaking:

System divides players in Legendary rank to 5 tiers based on the following:

1. 35% KD ratio in last 5 matches
2. 35% overall score in last 5 matches
3. 30% win ratio in last 5 matches

An example to elaborate:

A person with an average of 0.8 KD, 1/5 win ratio, and less than 1000 average score will be in tier 1.

While someone with an average of 4 KD, 4/5 win ratio and 3000 average score will be in tier 5.

Therefore, system matches players according to their tier, so tier 1 can be matched against tier 1 or 2 only and vice versa...

So what do u think guys?

Unequal treatment of the game based on region

This is something that seriously pisses me off the players who play the garena and South Korean version of COD mobile get some seriously rare items for free. For example:- The Ghost Stealth character which was a crate exclusive item back in the day or you could get it by downloading war zone was given out for free in the South Korean version, In season 7 in the Garena version you could get the KN 44 eruption skin which is a crate and a bundle exclusive for free, the RUS glacier which was an invite friend exclusive for free. You could get the Locus Hotspot for free as well. I know most people are gonna be don't ask everything for free support the devs and I get that but if it was just about that why us it that these versions get stuff that some people would've only dreamed about getting for free? If the devs are seeing this I only ask for one thing and that is that every version of COD mobile get the same things

J358: Stopping Power

Now that i see this its all bullshit i didnt even test this shit out and the devs are smarter than me and hawksnest will figure it out. Sorry for wastin ur time but you can go on ahead.

For those who do not know and wonder, the J358 has an attachment that increases bullet damage just like OTM for the DR-H. I assume this can go two ways;

 1, it behaves exactly like OTM where it only has damage increase when its above the hips/stomach but ignores hands. But this would not matter cause if they didn't want it to be a one tap on the chest, it'll still be a two tap. 

 Or 2, the bullets do a little more damage making one less shot IF you land either all head shots or at least one headshot.

Controller pairing trouble?

Im trying to connect my xbox 1 controller and I've been using it for the past days without a problem. Today it doesnt want to respond correctly. I automatically shoot, the left bumper activates the map and setting menu, the rught thumbstick stops me from shooting only when I hold it to the left. I was wondering if anyone has had trouble with the controllers connecting but just not responding to any inputs correctly?

Hey Cod devs, after ironing out all the bugs, some quality of life changes would be appreciated

Its not compulsory, but if you want to, then do it.

1)weapon inspect since we're getting grindable camos and charms
2)full reload animations. Not really important, but enhances the experience
3)Original character voice lines
4)Operator voice lines. Maybe for guerilla squad, you could have a russian, or british voice
5)Remove the red lights from characters arms. This would allow players to be stealthy, and would make it easier to ninja defuse. This would be good for hardcore, as friendly fire is on
6)Continue being the best devs in the mobile gaming community

Ranked didn’t become as easy as you thought, it actually became fairer.

This is probably going to be a long thread but it’s becoming a bit annoying to see the same type of post every week.

Okay, let’s start with something I agree with complainers: there are some bums and noobs on high ranks due to either Solo Shield, Winner bonus or Double XP but that doesn’t mean that legendary has become a joke.

Now why IMO ranked became fairer especially for solo players, the reason started I think this season or last, I don’t remember, but devs actually fixed matchmaking to avoid facing full squads (trios, etc.). Also they fixed a bit the matchmaking cause back in season 2 and 3 while being pro v or master I you could face Legendaries and obviously it was hard to identify if that legendary recently ranked up or had over 8k points.

Why did I mention this, cause again back in season 2 and 3 it was harder to rank up due to that unfair matchmaking, I actually begged on this subreddit to help me out to get AK47-Tank cause again matchmaking was a joke at the start of the year, cause everytime I was close to get AK47, I always faced Legendaries or full master squads while being Master I.

Nowadays it’s still a bit hard to reach legendary as a solo cause yes, there some noobs that doesn’t deserve that rank but still you have to play good and carry if you actually want to reach legendary.

What’s your opinion on this, what can you add to this?, did I miss something?
